I'll forever stand by this:
Separating Beatrice and Lilith after the Vatican attack was one of the worst decisions they* could've made, and at the same time feels so natural with their roles on the OCS.
Those girls had just lost two of the most important people in their lives, one dead, the other vanished. They were their only mutual support, and one of them has just come back from literal hell, yet they were expected to just carry on and continue being of service to the OCS (as proper Sister Warriors do). They were not given time to mourn their loses, to reconnect, to just cry; instead, they were given missions: look after Mary, take care of Ava. Move, move, move.
And they did, because that's how they are, how they were shaped to be; they only see themselves as worthy when they are useful. They push themselves to fulfill missions they are undoubtedly committed to (there's no question on whether Lilith wants to know what happened to Mary, nor on Beatrice wanting to protect Ava), because if they don't, who would do it? They are the older sisters now, the ones responsables of keeping things moving. They step into their roles without doubt, but also without guidance, no more guidance than the memories of the sisters they just buried.
I keep thinking about Beatrice, in The Alps, scared upon the possibility of Ava getting hurt because she isn't training her well enough, unable to ask anyone for advice because all of her older sisters are gone.
I am thinking about Lilith browsing Portugal's streets, looking for Vincent, lost both physically and emotionally, reaching the end of the day with no one else but herself and missing the silent presence of her sister, who always knew how to keep her company.
I am thinking about a pair of sisters who were separated when they needed each other the most, before losing themselves completely.

Your analysis on shigaraki's worldview is 😍😍😍. Who's your fav bnha character btw, and what kind of manga are you into? (i mean as in genre, but my phrasing is terrible at times so idk how to put it all in the last sentence)
My favorite manga in the whole world are the manga that run in Weekly Shonen Jump. I read almost everything that runs in the magazine from week to week. I know that’s not technically a genre, but let’s not arguen semantics.
And now because no one asked for it, my opinion on all of the manga currently running through Jump that I read.
Tumblr media
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba usually manga in shonen jump slowly get worse over time as they try to stretch their stories out, but Kimetsu no Yaiba is a story that continues to develop on itself and improve the longer it runs.
The art is phenomenal and has a good balance of when to be silly and when to be drop dead gorgeous. It’s more of an ensemble piece tied together by a big brother trying to save his little sister, and because of that almost every character Tanjirou interacts with is fun and really immediately attention grabbing.
It’s also a pretty heavy story that deals with death, grief and loss and trying to find life beyond a world that has suffering like that. I’m actually planning to make some meta of it soon, especially with the interactions between Domi and Shinobu. My only real complaint is that it’s deep but not too deep. Usually the demons are always bad and the demon slayers are always good in the end, even if sympathy is expressed for some of the demons. Once again though it does so well in the technical aspects of telling the story it wants to tell.
Tumblr media
My Hero Academia it’s pretty obvious that I like it. The biggest draws for me are the art style and the characters, specifically the villains. Also the idea of a reverse X men world where what are basically the mutants now outnumber normal people and dominate society is a fantastic idea for world building with a lot of options.
I’ve actually followed Horikoshi’s work for a long time. His two previous works, Oumagodoki Zoo and Barrage both ran in Shonen Jump for a short time before they were cancelled which I find really unfortanate because they both had a lot of potential as well.
I love both the hero kids and the villains, though sometimes I feel like the villains are more connected to the central conflict of the story than the heroes. It would be nice to see Deku evolve a more radical philosophy then just wanting to save people right in front of him, or protecting the status quo. The heroes should ideally act in response to the villains to create a better world and resolve a problem the villains brought up, but if say the League of Villains were wiped out now another League would be created later because the central problem of the story has not been dealt with.
Tumblr media
Dr. Stone this is a series that almost got cancelled, but was saved by a main character switch. Senku is really likable and unique as a character, kind of a mad scientist archetype who turns out to be the good guy and the hero of the story.
Tumblr media
He reminds me a lot of Yoichi from the writers previous work, Eyeshield 21. In that they’re both laughing mad eccentrics who seem like they have little scruples for how they use and treat other people, and yet are surrounded by friends and act as the leaders of their team. They also both have a tendency for strategy over brute strength and like to outwit their opponents.
The only thing I can say about Dr. Stone is that while the characters are a fun little group of oddballs, they rarely get any deeper than that. The most interesting thing is still figuring out the central mystery of the world and what happened to turn everybody to stone, which is why having Senku as a main character was a really smart move on the series part.
Tumblr media
Yozakura Family This is a new series that I actually really like and hope beats canellation at the two week mark. It’s kind of your basic romantic comedy characters get married in the first chapter promise, but also there’s some really strong character writing with the older brother. He’s one of the few examples of the obsessive and overprotective brother type that was portrayed as actually abusive and damaging for seeing his younger sister that way.
The premise also reminds me a lot of Katekyo Hitman Reborn, just suddenly getting sucked into the underworld of spies and crimminals when you’re an unlucky loser with no social skills. If the character writing is as strong as it is for the brother I can definitely see a lot of improvement and staying power.
Tumblr media
The Promised Neverland the smartest written series in Shonen Jump write now with the best ideas. The Promised Neverland is all about theme, theme, theme, theme, which is why someone like me who devours stories for their nutritious value and content loves it.
While there are only about three major characters with arcs that matter to the plot, Norman, Ray, and Emma they are some of the deepest characters in shonen jump currently and the complexity of their relationship and the way they all foil each other is superb.
It’s a story about children trying to escape a neverland where they can never grow up, and live in a world that never wanted them alive. Not only is it just about them though, it’s also about adults who are still inside the system and gave up at one point or another and decided to just live in the evil world rather than change it. It’s a deep story but it’s also undeniably shonen jump, the central theme is about not giving up even in a world that is determined to deny your existence.
Tumblr media
Act Age If you’ve read Chihayafuru this manga has a lot in common with that, because both of them are about very singleminded girls with complex emotions that they themselves don’t understand, finding themselves completely enveloped in a niche hobby to the point of obsession.
Act-Age is a story that’s primarily about storytelling and the nature of stories themselves, with each arc focusing on an adaptation of either a movie made up for the sake of the story or a pre-written play ie, Journey to the West, Night on the Galactic Railroad. However, it’s also bout the nature of stories, as understood by the perspectie of an actor.
There are only a few major characters but they all get intensely developed in their arcs. My absolute favorite relationship is that of the main character, quiet on the surface but with deep emotions that she uses for her acting talent with her rival an actress that’s much more like a pop star or idol. Rather than having deep talent she instead uses her ability to read people to appeal to them. She is cheerful and lively on the surface, but empty inside. The way they envy each other and learn to grow from each other because each of them has what the other one desires.
Tumblr media
Jujutsu Kaisen reminds me of really early bleach that was just Ichigo and his teenage friends fighting Hollows. This is one of the manga I definitely reccomend, because it’s one of the lesser known manga in jump currently. The art style has this scratchy look about it which really adds well to the horror aspect of the series. It’s a demon fighting anime with some of the best demon designs, more attention is put on making them look grotesque and scary then in series like KNY where the demons for the most part are pretty good looking still.
The main trio is very solid, a reckless idiot who swallowed a cursed finger in the first chapter and is continually dealing with the consequences of that, the shadowy, quiet type cool headed one who almost never talks about his past or his true feelings on the matter, and between them the cheerful girl whose a tad on the merciless side.
Not only are the characters good, but it’s one of the few series where the fights and lore are super interesting. Rather than dealing with demons directly Kimetsu no Yaiba style we deal with curses, which are generated from the human subconscious.
For exmaple one of the villains Mahito is the embodiment of the fear humans have for other humans, that is the anxieties of life, and the fear and suppressed feelings that go hand in hand with humanity. Because that he’s much like a child curse quickly learning and progressing with a human intelligence.
Tumblr media
The fights, the powers of characters, they’re all used to further develop a really interesting world of curses and the people who live dealing with them that it feels like we’re only scratching the surface of right now and desperately makes you want to figure out the system they have in place for this entire world.
Tumblr media
Yui Kamio Lets Loose - I find it to be a really sweet romantic comedy about a stuck up boy obsessed with appearances and what other people think of him falling in love with two sides of a girl, the uncontrollable Yui that beat him up and constantly gets into fights and trouble, and the perfect demure girl who can only ever be helpless and kind and needs to be protected. It has a feel of a lot of classic 80s high school romantic comedies. The only real problem is that it needs to acquire a plot fast, because it’s at risk for cancellation which makes it hard for me to get invested in a series that might end soon.
Tumblr media
Double Taisei - One of those shonen manga that had a really interesting beginning chapter, but then failed to do anything with it. I think it would work well as a character piece between two personalities who act like brothers in the same body, but the characters aren’t strong enough quite yet to work that way. I do like the character design…
Tumblr media
Tokyo Shinobi Squad - It looked like a ripoff at first but the main character is actually fairly different from Naruto, and the manga itself is uniquely its own thing. I just hope it learns to utilize it’s cyberpunk setting better, because ninjas fighting in a cyberpunk dystopia is a very tropey premise and the story needs to utilize those tropes in order to work. I do like the fact that the main character starts out pretty powerful so it’s not a typical shonen formula about a main character slowly learning to gain power, instead it’s him taking in and being responsible for a kid.
Manga I don’t read - One piece, Yuuna of the Haunted Hotsprings, Chainsawman, Samurai 8 the tale of Hachimaru, Beast Children, Miitama Security Busters.

Higeki and Kigeki Pt.1
AN: So it’s been hella forever since I’ve posted fanfiction of any kind. All my other works (that I write on other sites) and any other works I’ve got have kinda lost my attention. I’ve fallen into the MHA/BNHA hole and hard and haven’t been able to focus on anything else. That being said I have so many stories started for this fandom it’s not funny, but none are anywhere near finished or even posted. SO, I’ve decided to throw the one intro I do have done for a story to try my luck. So here it is I guess. BTW this story is no where near finished and my inspiration to write likes to flip flop.
Warnings: Uhh, maybe a bit of gore? I like to write pretty morbid stuff
Pairings: Shigaraki/OC  Izuku/Toga
Tags: Villain!OC, Villain!Deku, AUish I guess
Word Count:  3043
Summary: Izuku didn’t grow up an only child. He had an older sister, but she disappeared some years ago. After tragedy strikes the Midoriya family his sister has no choice but to return to Izuku.
I’m sorry son, but you’ll never have a quirk, it’s just not in your genes.
Quirkless Deku!
I’m so sorry Izuku.
Maybe you can get a quirk in your next life so do us all a favour and jump off a building.
I’m sorry Izuku Midoriya, but without a quirk you can’t become a hero.
So many negative thoughts raced through his mind. Things he had been told from a young age up to the berating he had just received from the pro heroes after trying to save Kaachan from that slime monster. All he wanted was to be a hero, but it seemed as if the whole world was against him from the start. After all, he was just some quirkless kid.
Messy green hair hung low over his eyes, casting them in a shadow.  His hands tightened on his backpack straps. All his life Izuku just wanted to be a hero, quirk or no. But now...even that seemed impossible. Even his favourite hero, the one person who he has always looked up to and admired, told him it was impossible. So where did that leave him?  Izuku’s dreams were all but shattered in that moment. A few tears began to leak from his eyes. Were they right, after all this time? Was he just Quirkless Deku?
So caught up in his inner turmoil, Izuku did not notice the man that was following him. Nor did he notice the man he was about to bump into. “I’m so sorry I-” His green eyes looked up to see who he had run into, only to widen in fear. The man’s eyes were...off. His whole demeanor was off.
“Well well, what’s a kid like you walking around these streets by himself?” Even his voice was off.
“I-” Izuku could only stutter.
“Wouldn’t it be such a shame, if something were to happen to ya?” Izuku took a step back as he trembled, only to find another man standing behind him as well. “Now, be a good little boy and come along quietly.”
Two days later
The room was dark. The shadows seemingly swallowing everything in sight. A lone light shown down in the middle, showing a lone man tied to a chair. His hands were bound behind the chair. Various cuts littered his body. The man’s breathing was ragged as he fought the urge to scream in pain. Faint footsteps echoed in the dark room. Weakly the man raised his head.
“Are you ready to tell me what I want to know now?” A smooth, feminine voice filled the room. A woman stood in front of him. Red eyes met his own black ones. Shaggy, seaweed green hair fell down to her shoulders. The bottom of her face was covered up by a face mask, showing a wicked looking frown.
The man remained silent, eyes narrowing. It was hard to get any sort of tell on the woman without seeing the rest of her face. Not that it would help as even her eyes gave out no emotions. The man grit his teeth. A thin line of blood fell from the corner of his mouth. After a few more moments of silence, it was broken by the sound of a switchblade knife. Black eyes drifted down to her gloved hands, to the knife she now held. Heeled boots clicked against the concrete floor as the woman took a few steps closer to the man. She now stood behind him, the knife pressed against his throat. “Tell me. Or this little guy,” the knife lightly tapped against his skin. “Will be going all the way across your throat.” She gently moved the knife across his throat, making a mock cut.
“Tch! You psycho bitch!”
“Nope sorry, that’s not what I want to hear.” She moved the knife closer to the man’s skin. The knife nicked his skin and a thin line of blood fell down his neck. The woman moved to cut deeper but was cut off by a soft ringing sound. “Hm?” With her other hand the woman moved a hand into one of her pants pockets, pulling out a cellphone. She flipped it open, not speaking a word.
“K-Kizumi? I really hope that’s you. I- … Izuku he’s not come home in two days. Please, I don’t know what else to do! The police haven’t been able to find out anything and I- please! Please bring Izuku home!” A woman’s voice came through the phone. She was sobbing and more than likely in tears.
“I understand. You don’t have to worry about anything.”
“Thank you! Thank you so much Kizumi!”
The woman, Kizumi, closed the phone, ending the call. “Well then, it’s your lucky day.” Her head was bent down, mouth beside the man’s ear. “Seems like I have other places to be.”
“What-” He did not get to finish as she brought the knife across his throat in one swift notion. Blood quickly leaked down from his throat, soaking his clothing. He tried to speak, but his words only came out in gurgles. Kizumi stood in front of him, watching the life leave his eyes before turning to leave.
“Don’t worry little brother, big sister is on the way.”
Kizumi made her way quietly through the shadows of the alleyway. Even though she had kept herself away from her family, Kizumi did keep tabs on them. This is how she knew Izuku’s usual route to and from school. She knew how long he had been missing. Kizumi had seen the news. Two days ago was when that slime villain attacked Izuku’s classmate, when she witnessed Izuku run in to save him while the heroes could do nothing but watch. Luckily, All Might showed up and saved both of the kids.
With knowing what had been happening prior to him going missing, the fact that he had been gone for two days, she just needed something else to find out where he was now. As powerful sounding as her quirk was it still required a few other things for it. Three things it seemed. Three facts to be able to know everything. Kizumi doubted her brother ran away, that just was not something he would do. At Least not without telling their mother. Something in her told Kizumi it was something else, something not of his choosing. Meaning he was probably taken.
That was a double no no in her book. This was her territory, but most of all they took her brother.  To mess with her family was a personal offence to Kizumi. She took a turn down a dark street, one she knew Izuku used often. Red eyes scanned the empty street. There, sticking out from a bush. Gloved hands reached down and pulled out a worn looking notebook. ‘Hero Analysis’ was written on the front. This had to have been the area Izuku went missing. Kizumi tucked the notebook underneath one of the knife holsters on her legs. Her eyes closed as she took a deep breath. There, she could see it in her mind now. Human traffickers had taken her brother. A mistake she would not be letting them make twice. Kizumi’s lips turned upwards into a smile underneath her facemask. She would enjoy this.
Elsewhere
Tears streamed down from green eyes. Izuku’s teeth clamped down on the cloth in his mouth as his body trembled.  His hands were bound behind his back. A dozen other kids around his age and younger were sitting on the floor with him. From what he had overheard from the men that had taken them all, the men were traffickers. The men had not fed any of the kids, keeping them all too weak to fight back or run. Izuku was not sure just how long he had been held captive, let alone the rest of the kids. He knew it had to have been at least a day, maybe two but he was not entirely sure.
Izuku continued to watch the men. At this point he could only hope some heroes or even the police force got news of what was happening. Surely someone would come to their rescue. A thin line of light began to come through one of the blocked windows. A new day. Was it the third or the fourth day then? Maybe today someone would come for them. His eyes started to close. Izuku was tired, exhausted even. Without having food his body did not have enough energy to even stay awake. His head tipped over as he fell asleep, his body remaining in a sitting position.
He was not sure how long he slept. Izuku’s mind seemed to drift in nothingness.  Faint thoughts of his mother invaded his mind. She had to be worried sick by now. Izuku could feel himself waking up. Someone was messing with his hands. No, not his hands, the bindings on his hands.
“Mmf-?” He turned his head trying to see who was behind him.
“Quiet now little Izuku. We don’t need those bad men to notice I’m here just yet. And don’t move around so much, I don’t want to nick you with my knife.” His body stilled and he felt the cold metal of her knife as she worked to cut off the bindings. As soon as Izuku felt the ropes leave his wrist he took the cloth off from around his head.
“Kizu.” He whispered as he turned around to meet her gaze.
“Long time no see Izu. Here.” Kizumu pressed the knife into Izuku’s hand. “Go free the others, quietly and quickly.”
“Right.” Izuku quietly crawled over to the other kids, one by one cutting off their bindings while making sure they all stayed quiet. Kizumi continued to kneel down amongst the kids, waiting for her moment to strike. One of the kids started to whimper upon being woke up. Though the sound was mostly muffled by the cloth gag, it still seemed to be loud enough to garner the attention of some of the men.
“Hey, shut up over there!”
“Wait, what’s going on? How’d they come untied?”
“Shut up and get them back under control.”
Both men stood and headed over to the group of children. Some of the other kids began to whimper and cry even louder. Kizumi took the chance to strike. Her body shot forward. She headbutted one of the men while kicking another in the head.
“Listen up kids, you need to get out now. The path is clear; no one will stop you. Those of you who can walk help those who can’t. The authorities will be here soon.” Kizumi ordered the children. None of them moved, continuing instead to gawk at the woman. “Get out of here now! You’re free!” That got the kids moving. Kizumi kept her eyes on the two men, watching from her peripherals as the group of children ran out of the dark room.
“Kizumi…”
“What are you still doing here Izu, leave with the rest of them.”
“B-but you’ll be here by yourself with those guys!” Her brother was worried about her dealing with two men. How endearing of him. Seems like her brother had not really changed since she last met him. “What about the other men though?”
“I took care of them. And now I need to take care of these last two. So I need you to leave.”
“Kizu…”
“I don’t want you to see what I’m about to do, Izu.” Her voice was quiet. “I don’t want you to see what your dear sister has become.”
“I’m not leaving you alone.” Izuku spoke firmly. He refused to leave. Kizumi turned to look at her brother. Her red eyes staring into his own green ones. After a few moments she broke eye contact, letting out a small chuckle.
“As stubborn as ever.” Kizumi turned her attention back to the two remaining men as they started to get back onto their feet. “I’m going to need you to stand back then. I don’t want you to get anymore hurt than you already are.”
“Alright..” Izuku moved away, his back hitting the wall where the group of children had previously huddled against.
The two men weakly stood, groaning loudly. “What the hell?”
“Who the hell is this bitch?”
“This bitch is the one who’s going to end your pathetic lives. Encroaching on my turf is one thing. But you hurt someone you shouldn’t have.” Kizumi took out two knives.
The two men shot forward at her. One of them with his fingernails lengthening into daggers while the other man’s face contorted to where his mouth seemed to take up most of his head, sharp teeth jutting out. Kizumi side stepped their first charge, her knife slicing into the knife finger’s arm. Before they could turn around and retaliate, she charged the knife man. Twin knives sliced expertly at the man. Several thin cuts soon appeared all over his body as she slid around his side, moving back around the front of the two men. Teeth tried to bite at her, head jutting forward.
Kizumi shoved one of her knives into his head from the bottom of his jaw. The blade kept his jaw closed shut. The man tried to grab at the knife to pull it out of his head. Before one of his hands could reach the knife Kizumi kicked high, sending the knife further into the man’s head. The teeth man collapsed as blood poured from his head.
The last man tried to swipe at her with his hands. Kizumi dodged his attacks for a few moments, waiting for her chance. One of his hands swiped low at her, nearly hitting the floor. Kizumi’s arm shot out with the knife, pinning his hand to the floor. With one foot on the top of the knife hilt, the other shot out to the man’s head giving him swift kick. The force of the kick sent the man flying backwards. The pinned hand was ripped back with him, tearing his hand in half. The man’s mouth opened up to let out a scream, but was stopped by Kizumi’s hand being pressed into his face. The force of her hand pushed the man’s head into the floor. A cracking sound could be heard from the impact.  His body lay still as blood began to pour from his head as well.
Kizumi withdrew both of her knives, the one stuck in the floor and the other stuck in the man’s skull. Siren’s could be faintly heard in the distance. “Izuku.”
The green haired boy continued to stare at the two bodies on the floor. His sister did that. She held her own against his kidnappers and more than likely took out the others that were in the building too. Had she killed all of them? How did she even get to this point? Was this why she left home? A gentle hand on his shoulder brought Izuku out of his thoughts. “Izuku we need to leave. Izuku!”
“Huh? R-right.” Kizumi placed an arm around his shoulder, turning his body away  from the two dead men, as she led the two of them out the back door of the building. The duo slipped out of the building, staying in the shadows as the police swarmed the building searching for the traffickers.
After rounding a few different streets they ended up coming out at the main street just a couple of blocks down from the building. Kizumi held her arm out, stopping Izuku from stepping out the rest of the way onto the street. The girl peaked her head around the corner of the nearby building to watch the nearby police. Izuku leaned over her arm to look down the street as well.
The rest of the kids were crowding together.  The police still outside were trying to gently question the kids. Someone was calling for an ambulance, another officer was taking note of how many bodies were being reported from within the building. Satisfied seeing the other kids were safe Kizumi turned around and went back into the alley. Izuku stumbled along behind her, running to catch up to her side.
“What’s going to happen now?”
“I’m going to make sure you make it home. Mom is worried sick about you.”
“Mom?”
“She called me, told me you had been missing. So I found you.”
“I’m sorry Kizu.”
The girl stopped walking, taken aback by her brother’s words. Izuku noticed she was not by his side after a few more steps and stopped, turning to face her. “Izu, why would you be sorry? It wasn’t your fault.”
“I just...maybe if I was stronger I wouldn’t have gotten taken...If I could’ve fought back. But then...all those other kids, would the police have gotten to them in time? Maybe it was for the best that I got caught…” His head was drooped down and arms down at his side in fists.
Kizumi walked over to Izuku. She pulled his head down onto her shoulder and both arms went around him in an embrace.  Did her brother really think so lowly of himself that he thought of his kidnapping as a good thing? “Izu what happened wasn’t your fault. It wasn’t anyone’s fault but those bad men. Never blame yourself for such things ever again do you hear me?”
Hot tears rolled down Izuku’s face. Slowly, he brought up his own arms and weakly wrapped them around Kizumi. He wanted to sob, to let it all out, but at this point he was running on fumes. It was all he could do to even wrap his arms around her. Izuku could feel his legs start to give out, his body having run through all the adrenaline. Kizumi felt the sudden change in his body and caught him before he hit the ground. “Easy there tiger. You haven’t eaten for three days now.”
“Three days huh, is that how long it was?” Kizumi moved one of her arms around his midsection while bringing one of Izuku’s arms around her shoulder.
The rest of the walk back home was quiet. Izuku had run out of most of his energy while Kizumi watched their surroundings, searching for anyone suspicious.

Side Effects Analysis/Theories
Miroh/Yellow Wood || Side Effects [Teaser] [MV] || Double Knot
I’m back with tiny details to help all your theories uwu, more of notes than theories
NOTE: anything with asterisks* means it is mentioned again later in the post (it’s a long post ok)
YELLOW GUI
(basically the overlays/coding)
someone is logging in*, shown with PASS_LOGIN (followed by a long list of letters I’m too lazy to list) on the right side, along with
#00001 (yes, there’s a space)
#00002
#0003
most of the code on the left is refers to these codes+lost of letters, just a program being executed
the left side also has a “TOTAL” that starts at 297 and decreases to 149
the right side has 3 percentages listed that start at 0% and go up to 99% until the first drops back down to 98%
(the first percentage is the first to appear/increase btw)
the screen clears once the 3 listed ones hit 99%*
there’s also a 4th one that goes from 0% to 40% at the bottom right
also this is probably obvious, but the screen flashes yellow whenever smth bad is about to happen**
IT IS REFLECTION. Finally I can stop being so ominous, but the left side gui says “*it is reflection*”!! Right here!! Wth?!?!**
Idk if this is smth significant but I’ve never seen it before in code so
Tumblr media
THE BUS STOP (take 2)
the bus station route has 5 stops, ending at the NEW WORLD (03)
the 5 stops seem to be the first 5 letters of the Greek alphabet in lowercase: α β γ δ ε****
y’all can see clearly the signs next to the elevator saying BE PREPARED TO STOP and DETOUR
there’s are two moons: the one on the left is the colour of the sky and is fading, whereas the one on the right is tinted pink/red/purple and has a clear silhouette***
LICENCE PLATES
the plate of the City Jungle bus (w/their signature lion logo) has AD2540*** skip to the end to see my revelation :)
skz’s truck thing has B2Y1017 and a tiger symbol on the driver’s side door
I didn’t come up w/this but 1017 is probably a reference to October 2017, when Hellevator was posted
****if so, then the B2Y could be referencing the Greek letters here, or maybe “Back to You”? maybe that’s how they’re confirming that they’ll go back to the hell elevator or bujakyong i guess lol
connecting to smth I mentioned in my first analysis: the tiger in a Korean legend wasn’t able to persevere and become human, whereas the bear was. Maybe it’s symbolism they couldn’t go on w/o ditching the truck at the end?
RANDOM ROAD TRIP STUFF
(anything that happens while they’re on the truck)
Chan spots smth red in the ground?? (flowers?) but thas real sketchy bc the slowly emptying gas tank is shown right after the screen turns red
this is the only instance of the screen going just red during this mv
Hyunjin gets a solo shot after
Hyunjin’s vs Felix
Felix stands up on the truck and Hyunjin tries to get him to sit down, only to be brushed off by Felix
when Chan did this, Hyunjin didn’t do anything, only get that solo shot
Hyunjin vs Seungmin
I won’t go deep into this bc other people have better theories, but if Hyunjin was worried abt them being watched, then it makes sense that he’d try to stop Felix from making them obvious or getting hurt (which then they’d need to find someone to help him)
the papers on the ground they step on say: new road/elevator, road closed/_min_ _ation_
also Peach pointed out that the older members go to Hyunjin, and the younger ones go to Seungmin owo
when the gui percents reach 99%, they break the gate blocking their way
***as I said before, the screen turns yellow before smth (really) bad happens, but not before the truck tire gets pierced?? (again, maybe they were supposed to ditch the truck???)
the city in the sky
obviously, the city in the sky is the City Jungle, and being in the sky (cloud 9-esque maybe??) keeps them away from the mostly-abandoned Yellow Wood floor
the lightning probably shows the true face of the City Jungle (go figure)
they all run away from search lights? So they were found again, but also how did they end up back here????
THEORIES: the bible, the login, and Reflection
NOTE: the only theory that’s possibly accurate is reflection lol so you can skip down
If you read my previous 2 analyses/note posts, you know I’ve been curious about reflections and Bible references. Admittedly, I don’t think the bible stuff will be as prominent (bc it’s religious), but the reflection stuff will probably be focused on.
THE BIBLE
As I said, this stuff likely isn’t accurate, but it would fit really well if they decide to go this route!! It started with the cross earrings/necklaces in previous comebacks (mainly worn by Hyunjin), the fact Hellevator  is HELLevator, and when skz runs together at 3:18 (in Side Effects), they form a cross, with Hyunjin up front.
I’ve also mentioned some bible verses that I found using numbers in the mvs (note that I use the New International Version to quote anything). Most of the ones were mostly irrelevant though. Other people have brought up in another theory that “AD” on the licence plate AD2540 could reference Anno Domini which could mean this was happening in the future, but I double-checked bible verses again.
Book of Matthew, 25:40 = “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
This section is about the King who has separated his “sheep” (those who have done good) to the right and “goats” (those who haven’t done good) to the left. The king says the sheep have done good things for him, but the sheep say they didn’t do those things to him specifically. This verse is referencing that the king knows they have done good to another person, and therefore him.
Obviously, if this were actually what skz were going for, they probably would’ve referenced the actual verse where the king separates his sheep and goats, but regardless, it does bring up the question: where else have we seen left and right, where one is bad?
We’ve seen it a few times: the two roads taken shown side by side when they take the bus or don’t, the two moons, and possibly skz vs the City Jungle.
THE LOGIN
Hyunjin, the “error” (other people’s posts go more in depth), is a focal point in this mv. We’ve also heard about “glitches” Jisung and Felix. So who can disprove that they’re just in a computer? (Jk but listen)
The yellow gui (and other code screens in Miroh) suggest we’re monitoring them. Or maybe the gui is in Hyunjin’s brain?? But I do know the percentages mirror what skz are doing (when they break the gate at 99%) and the screen goes yellow before smth bad happens (which is usually stuff Hyunjin notices).
There also seems to be an error in the code… idk how to explain this well, but the “error” might actually be planned. (I’ll make another post to clarify.)
REFLECTION
I mentioned in my 1st post that the lineup of skz on the rooftops in Miroh and the Yellow Wood teaser were mirrored, except 2 members switched with the 2 right next to them (Jeongin/Minho switched and Jisung/Hyunjin switched—did Hyunjin become the glitch at that point?). This might be a coincidence since it isn’t exact mirroring.
Anyway, there’s definitely some reference to reflection, because of the yellow gui! It might just be a nod to smth but hm. This is where I just dump some ideas
As I said in the Bible paragraphs, there’s references to left/good and right/bad. So reflection could reference:
people you thought were good are actually bad and vice versa (reference to Hyunjin, Jisung, and Felix maybe?)
the choice that’s on the left is good and the right is bad (getting on the bus was a good choice, which technically it was bc they’re sleeping peacefully) or the other way around
The moon on the right is “bad” (discoloured), but maybe actually the better one once reflected
You can also consider our left is their right, but that’s just confusing lol
Honestly, none of these seem right, but the gui is telling someone (likely just us tho) that smth is being reflected, and maybe not in a good way, since we aren’t seeing things the right way, or we’re seeing the bad parallel.
