With your language AU, I remember watching a video about a guy speaking angrily nonesense in an Indian accent and people thinking he was very angry. Imagine this as the Creator speaks angry gibberish to people and they just assume that the Creator is cursing them or something. judy time :D to be honest vesperia unfortunately is not a sapphic story but the character interactions in the game are still one of the top reasons the game is enjoyed to begin with!

tales of vesperia is a 2008 jrpg that got a remaster on all modern platforms in 2019! by tales of franchise Themes, the theme for this one is "Enforcing One's Justice RPG". the story follows yuri lowell who through a series of wild events ends up going from a trip to saving the water source of his home (the poorest part of the capital) to stumbling into a world-wide corruption and people who suffer as a result of inequality and injustice placed upon them by those who abuse their power. he has a childhood friend who is in the knights, and through that association he meets estelle (moon girl who i like to ship with judith) and makes more friends and expands his world horizon! judith takes some time before making her first formal appearance but she is genuine fun to witness.

People tend to say that the last third of the story isnt like The Best writing and all but in my heart i think its perfect as is especially in the Grand scheme of what the game is trying to say. THAT being said there is a thing abt the game that bothers me a lot that comes with judith sadly :(

a lot of gags with her are also like Haha Sexy Lady gags. while i could Mostly manage through those and enjoy the game despite them, its still a frustrating thing to see especially when you have a guy in the party who is the one enforcing these jokes (literally unfortunate writing choices with him too. hes fine when those jokes are not there)

but when that isnt a thing, judy does end up functioning as a catalyst to helping the party expand their horizons on what truly goes on in the world and all. and of course it goes without saying that her meeting everyone was a very positive thing to happen in her life :)

the game is near and dear to me so when i notice any of these blorbos in a poll i go wild. hence why i was happy to see judy do so well in your poll! whether or not you end up checking out vesperia, i am happy to have piqued your interest! i am always ready to answer any questions

ALSO!!! judy has light novels dedicated to her childhood/growing up before the games events that are translated (dont recall if everything is translated by now though) so this is probably the best way to witness her train of thought as otherwise you see her through yuris perspective

It's a bit of a stretch/general thing that a lot of things have, but in fairness the major focus on inequality yet playing up a character for haha sexy laughs (therefore lessening the impact of the focus on inequality) honestly doesn't feel disimilar to the persona series (or at least 5, and its a series I'm a very big fan of,) so my point is that I get it at least and don't judge slkdfj

I'm not really sure what else to comment on tbh but yeah it does pique my interest!! I'm not sure what I'll do about said interest yet but worse comes to worse you might see me contact you off of this account to ask for advice :'D (assuming that's ok!) I do think that if I end up getting super invested in it, I'll probably start with the games before focusing on Judith specifically, to at least get an overview and stuff?

i dunno abt this one .. i kinda don’t want reader to end up homeless bc i don’t want people to think you’re romanticizing that being homeless can lead to a good thing or something ya know?

i think you should keep the failed arranged marriage because it gives it some flare <3 but maybeeee.. i dunno.. say because it fails: reader packs her bags and leave without giving the ex husband another word! and she ends up at oiks without telling him so she’s a little bratty, gets what she wants, and then from there, character development after she meets waka?? oh oh and you can have model oiks but she’d still be clueless since she’s never had a job ! o.0

im not sure how you wanted to characterize reader in this one but if you did want her to be more… normal? you could always do the poor/rich trope ! like oiks looking for a roommate just for fun !! because he’s bored (read: lonely) having nobody at home (and maybe here you could do a love triangle who knows!) and reader just needs somewhere to live !! and since oiks has more than enough money to pay the rent so reader only does house chores in exchange ! something like that. . .

but again!!! idk how you wanted it exactly!! and i don’t mean to be intrusive like changing your plots and stuff !!! :(

ok so reader’s family is wealthy, not exactly the wealthiest, they’re ur usual power hungry rich family desperate for connections and money and that’s how reader ends up in that marriage. she’s never been like that. of course, she loves the advantages, but she wants a life for herself? not stuck in a marriage. she’s young and her ex husband is a very influential man.

reader and oikawa grew apart, him being a supermodel, her getting married— they’re still childhood best friends, but you know.. she ends up reaching out to him and he’s eager to help his friend. i shouldn’t have said homeless because she’s not exactly homeless and it’s for a short time anyway, max a day. if i repost this smau i’ll explain the situation better cuz looking at what i said.. LMAO i gotta to rethink some parts !! her parents refuse to give her access to her money, cards, and her belongings, she ends up with some of her clothes and the money in her wallet. to them and her siblings she’s now an embarrassment.

she met wakatoshi at her husband’s dinner party. his parents know him, they used to be associates. reader and wakatoshi shared some moments during those parties, they didn’t make out/fuck though. he stopped showing up at some point and she got divorced. i’d be a love triangle anyway because oikawa is in love with her and wakatoshi is his rival.

i feel like i could use some of ur ideas 😭 like the poor/rich trope i LOVE it sm i’d have to completely change some parts but i do love that trope and your idea is just! i’m obsessed. so i’ll keep that in mind if i’m gonna repost this smau. her being bratty & some character development SLAY!

but the second smau.. it feels more interesting to me. also funnier LMAOSJNDDN i avoid writing long fics because i’m horrible at organizing my thoughts/ideas and having a schedule yuck i hate it ew
