Who is your favourite character in 2?

Caleb - loyal, charismatic, a great friend, and just a lot of fun to watch on screen.

Who is your least favourite character in 1?

Peter Ash, probably. He’s the first one who comes to my mind when I try to think of a Black Sails character with no likeable traits.

What is your favourite episode of 4?

All That Josh in s3, if only for the gang singing Under Pressure.

What is your favourite season of 5?

S1 was the truest to the plot of the books and, most importantly, to their spirit.

Who is your favourite couple in 3?

Despite the number of canon (and possible non-canon) pairings on this show, I don’t really ship anyone there (the BROTPs, on the other hand...). Guzman/Nadia is probably the closest thing to my OTP there, but I’m not, like, very passionate about their relationship.

Who is your favourite couple in 2?

I can answer with non-canon ships, right? Because definitely Ben/Caleb.

What is your favourite episode of 1?

See, I’m the worst person to be asked about episodes - I just never remember what happened in which episode, not to mention the numbers of episodes. Let’s go with the finale of s3, it was pretty spectacular.

What is your favourite episode of 5?

Ugh, episodes again... Despite my overall dislike of s3, I’d like to single out both parts of The Slippery Slope. I barely remembered anything about this book, so I didn’t expect to care about it much, and yet I liked it a lot (especially in comparison to the last three episodes of the season, lol). It made me care about Quigley whom I didn’t remember much from the books! And the dynamic between Sunny and Fernald was so cute.

What is your favourite season of 2?

I don’t even know. The third one, perhaps? Was it the one where they hanged John Andre because that made me emotional

How long have you watched 1?

I’m not sure ‘how long’ applies to the shows that aren’t ongoing anymore, but I’ve watched all forur seasons of it.

How did you become interested in 3?

The funny thing is that I don’t remember, actually! I think I found out about it from the Twitter blog of one of my friends and decided to give it a try because I wanted something pretty and entertaining to watch, and because it was on Netflix and I made a Netflix account some time before that.

Who is your favourite actor in 4?

I can’t choose between Hale Appleman, Jason Ralph, and Summer Bishil, I really can’t.

Which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?

1 and 2 are my two favourite shows ever, and it’s really difficult to decide which one I like the most. I’ll go with 2 because I’d say it’s more representative of the tropes I prefer in stories, such as “a group of friends on a high-stakes mission” and stuff like that.

Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?

Well, 3 isn’t over yet, but 1 has more episodes so far.

If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?

Literally no one on this show can catch a break, so I’d rather not to. Perhaps Todd if I absolutely must - as far as I recall, nothing really bad happens to him throughout all seasons, he’s just... there, serving as the comic relief in the background and partying a lot.

Would a crossover between 3 and 4 work?

Troubled students from a non-magical high shool, troubled students from a magical university... yeah, why not? Though I think a crossover - specifically, characters of 3 in the universe of 4 - would be more interesting.

Pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple?

Gates and Miranda, in some other life? I have no explanation for this, it just popped into my head.

Overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5?

I love the murder mystery part of 3, and I think for a show about teenagers partying and dating it handles most of its serious topics very well, and I prefer the books 5 is based on to 5 itself. Still, 5, because it’s my favourite fandom and I’m biased.

Which has better theme music, 2 or 4?

As much as I enjoy all the musical numbers in 4 (the way they really sound like friends singing together to cheer each other up, not like something professionally recorded - it is very appropriate), they have nothing on the soundtrack of 2. I still listen to many songs from it, it made me learn Spanish Ladies by heart because I loved it too much, and I am still mad that their particular version of The Dowie Dens of Yarrow is not available anywhere in full.
