Shawn Levy on set for these scenes even though he didn’t direct either of the episodes… aka these must have been scenes he felt were important enough for him to be there, in person, so that he could make decisions as an executive producer hmmm

#stranger things #byler #shawn levy is a Will Byers warrior #he is also a mike wheeler apologist #therefore a byler #there’s even a bts of him present during filming for 2x01 at the arcade…#like Shawn?? what are you doing here #like I said though #he is also an executive producer of the overall show in pretty sure #and the duffers have talked about how he makes a big role in decision making #beyond just the episodes he directs #so I do find it funny #that a shot as simple as will in his room painting #apparently had Shawn Levy going #I NEED TO BE THERE WHEN WE FIRST SEE THE PAINTING #AND I WANT A PICTURE WITH WILL IN FRONT OF THE BOYS DONT CRY POSTER #and the airport scene…#I’m sure he’s chose to be present for the filming of lots of scenes #but again funny he’s choosing to commemorate these ones he’s not even directing #by doing a quick photo op 🤣
