When his family decided to play hide and seek, Danny always participated. He was an expert; after months of running away, coupled with the fact that he had invisibility, the game was very easy, the halfa had always been the best.
So when his family decided to team up to hide from Gotham and their heroes Danny did it too. He could see Officer Gordon searching for the "dangerous" couple and Batman tracking the "meta" but they would never find them. They were too good at the game.
Oracle would despair at their blurry, seeing corrupted images as they led the rest of the vigilantes in a circling search because it was fun.
Of course, they were so distracted paying attention to them that they forgot the other bats. No wonder Red Hood asked for payment after founding them in Crime Alley a few days later (Danny wondered if the vigilante would be willing to play with him, it was strange that he didn't accuse them)
He’s not really in the mood to be mocked when he has been getting tiny oil-stained glass shards out of his face for a good while now, not even by the vigilante XD
Finally made this small thing that I thought of a while ago because the Bounty Hunter! Eclipse AU by @naffeclipse is still in my head 24\7 shdldñghdhsk Was just thinking about some important moments in Sleuth Jesters and was like oh right, he does get shot point blank in one eye at one point, how would that go in this one, and I decided to troll him XD
Timeline wise I’m putting this sometime after Eclipse started making an honest effort to change, when y/n isn’t particularly friendly to him, but isn’t pissed off still either haha
You know I am gonna go on a limb and say that Dragon isn't a bad father who "abandoned his child"
Like we didn't need confirmation that Dragon is an ex-marine to come to this conclusion, but it does add to the fact that Dragon would've known that if he ever fathered a child, that child would be in grave danger simply for being Dragon's child. Dragon would've known he couldn't have stayed with his child
The Government went out of its way to hunt for the Pirate King's literal unborn child, hurting countless people, innocent pregnant women, their husbands and babies in the process. Because Roger's blood was "evil" and so was the child for carrying that same "evil blood"
And mere years after the hunt for Roger's child, the Government would put a gigantic bounty on an 8 year old child because she could read forbidden texts. And we know the Ohara Incident became the final straw that transformed the Freedom Fighters into the Revolutionary Army.
Dragon was the head of that Army. Even without being an ex-marine, he would have known that the government would treat his child (and partner) the exact same as Ace and Robin. But knowing he was an ex-marine, it might have even given him extra insight into just how fucking bad the Government was
The Army would have been no place to raise a child in general
And being raised in the Army would've robbed the child from ever having any freedom, the ability to choose from themselves who or what they wanted to become and make their own path
If Dragon ever wanted Luffy to be free, he could not have kept the child with him. The child had to be left somewhere safe, away from him.
And if Dragon knew Ace had been entrusted to Garp, then he would've been 100% certain Garp would be willing to take care of his son (as Garp was clearly bending the laws for Roger's kid, like surely he'd then do the same for his own grandkid)
Dragon was in a shit situation and in the end, I do genuinely believe he did the best thing he could to give his child a future by not endangering him with his own existence
the progression of events in this arc is so so good and great and i love how you can just clearly see where and how each characters thoughts begin and progress throughout each chapter as it goes on. while steven was probably set in stone about his view on how to handle the situation i earnestly believe zed and zapp set out to disobey steven's request. and then they make it very easy to understand leo's point of view and why hes doing what he is - its why they show us that flashback and don't tell anyone else, and why he speaks very little after zapp threatens him - and then immediately cuts to klaus, who knows absolutely nothing about the situation currently but he can figure it out just by looking at whats in front of him. and because klaus is so unflinching when it comes to upholding what he believes is morally right he does so without anyone needing to tell him whats going on. he sees this percieved 'monster' protecting someone else and immediately goes to protect it, too. and even though a lot of them disagreed with each other at the beginning there is still the scene afterwards where they all come together to try and catch each other when they begin falling. i think nightow should pay me for what its done to my mental health
Wading out of that sea of red is hard, but having someone wait for you outside of it makes it worth it
(even if he'll be leaving tracks for a long while still)
Been thinking about Chapter 4 of Heavenly Bodies in Case Files, and thus the bounty hunter has been on my mind. @naffeclipse come get your evil baby boy <3
Inspiration/ blorbo thoughts that wouldn't leave my brain and sparked this:
Continuing from this thought, little Boba would find himself at the local saloon and promptly abducted befriended by the only other child in town. They would have much to bond about, like learning fun new plant facts and sharing stories about growing up in a military base with a single parent who would fly away to distant parts of the galaxy for weeks or months at a time with little warning and limited contact :)
I need overwatch fans to keep in mind that as Mauga is implemented into the game, that he is entirely based on the tired, racist stereotype that Polynesians are large, angry, and violent people. He is not any sort of representation for us, he is founded on stereotypes that harm us.
