First au of mine is of course bounty hunter au.
basically the only thought process I have is after failing to do family harmony they really just went “fuck it we ball” but ball as in murder.
Family motto: the family that kills together, stays together!
JD is the leader of course but he’s way more laid back about it. Of course he is he can easily vent his frustrations now! He’s very protective of his baby brothers. Also he treats himself to nice things and his brothers love that for him. JD is the one who can hunt anyone down in a forest environment and the best tracker, Branch is second and his little protege.
Bruce and Floyd are the manipulators of the group one with attractiveness and the other with emotions.
Clay is the one who thinks out the traps and all possible ways it could go wrong. He, of course, manages the finances and finds their targets. He’s serious but also best at torture and having fun with it.
Branch is the Jack of all trades. He learned from the best after all! Master trap maker like clay while being a manipulator of both charm and emotions. Of course he’s a top notch tracker like his oldest brother too!
Poppy: I support family rights but also family wrongs

Danny became a bounty hunter. He hadn't been planning on it, but after his hopes and dreams of becoming an astronaut fell through he felt like he needed to do something completely different. He'd had a rocky start of it, but after he'd caught a meta fugitive he'd gotten more high profile cases.
Now that he'd moved to New Jersey and gotten a job via recommendation from his old employer, he was ready to start working again.
His first case: Carmine Falcone, who'd fled Gotham after escaping his holding cell.

You know, I love the idea of Bounty hunter!Branch
Let this man out of the forest that shaped him up, that though him how to take down larger prey efficiently.
Let him out into the world where no troll has ever seen one like him, one as determined to survive to the point of spending 20 years without giving up to his greyness. Unknowingly surviving what many others could not.
Let him go feral on the targets that deserve it, those who cannot outrun this persistent hunter who learned to keep going until your prey can't anymore.
Let the other bounty hunters meet him and become his comrade, his friend. Let him feel safe with them because the bonds he makes with them mean they'll watch his back and he'll watch theirs.
Let him meet people who'll understand and accept him.
Half feral or not.
Colors or not.
Silent or not.

Grand Finale
I have been OBSESSED with @sneakertin's Bounty Hunter!Tentoo AU and decided to write a very rough, unbeta'd pic about it to work through some angst. I apologize for any grammatical errors. TW FOR SUICIDE
The vehement denial of his existence is what hurt the most.
The woman he had literally been born out of love for told him he would never be her Doctor. He thought that was easily one of the worst things he had experienced in all his lifetimes.
That was until he heard the gunshot from the upstairs bedroom.
He rushed in to find Rose, his Rose, laying in a pool of her own blood. The pistol he had heard was not far from her limp hand and the sight made him shatter. The scream he let out, the sobs, they would stick with him forever. Dropping to his knees, he pulled her cooling body onto his lap, his fingers gripping her arms so hard that it should have hurt. The Doctor held her in his arms, rocking her back and forth and pleading for her to just wake up. To come back to him.
It couldn’t have been more than a few minutes, though it felt like hours, until the EMTs arrived with the police in tow.
He didn’t even register him fighting the medical personnel as they tried to pry Rose from his arms. Or when he was held back by the police when they loaded Rose onto the gurney and into the ambulance. Or the ride to the hospital and the official news that she was dead and gone.
The only thing he did register was the fact that she was holding her TARDIS key in her hand when he found her.
The simple white button up he had been wearing was absolutely soaked through with Rose’s blood. The red stained through to his skin. He had subconsciously run his fingers through his hair during the chaos, leaving red streaks in the messy brown locks. It was impossible to think because Rose needed him. He needed to keep her safe.
It took him a week before he had finally processed what happened.
The rest of the time in that universe was spent in the Torchwood lab, spending months researching another way to get back to the Prime Universe. To get back to the other Doctor and get him to fix this whole mess. To get Rose back and right all the wrongs in this bloody awful life he was forced into.
It was eight months to the day when he got the Dimension Cannons activated and functional again.
It was ten months to the day when he managed to open a rift, commandeer a dingy space cruiser that looked more like a car from Earth, and begin his official search to find the other Doctor.
Weeks turned into months — and subsequently years — as he jumped from planet to planet, looking for any information that could help him. Anybody who had seen his Time Lord counterpart or could contact him. Even just an energy signature that he could use to track the TARDIS.
After about two weeks, the Doctor knew he needed a new look. Something that was still him but was different. It didn’t take long to find something compatible for his needs.
The blue jacket was similar to a bomber jacket you would see a twenty-first century fighter jet pilot wearing. However, it cut off just above his waist and was made of an extremely durable material — functioning as a space suit now that he was without his superior biology. The matching blue pants were accentuated by a lighter blue belt which held his perception filter — just in case he needed it. A foldable space helmet was his final safety precaution as he travelled.
Under the jacket was a white button up accompanied by a red tie. The meaning was not lost to him; an intentional reminder as to why he was doing all of this in the first place. To finish the outfit, he donned his signature red and white converse. He was still the Doctor, afterall.
Even if Rose hadn’t seen it that way.
He had been bouncing from planet to planet for nearly four years when the hallucinations started. First, it was subtle as whispers behind him began to affect him. Sometimes it was him hearing the man he had been searching for, giving him false hope that he could finally get his Rose back. Sometimes it was Rose and the entire thing just seemed to be a bad dream. Those were the easiest to deal with.
The times he saw Rose standing directly in front of him — just out of arm’s reach — were what really did him in.
The Doctor began to go mad. He could regularly be found arguing with himself, losing his temper and screaming into the void as he lost touch with reality once again. His attempts to handle himself became more deluded. The desperation made his morality shift as he decided he would do anything to get her back.
This included violence.
It was exacerbated by the realisation that he would never get Rose back set in. What was originally a journey of love and hope became one of rage and insanity.
At the end of the day, this was the other Doctor’s fault. He left him behind without so much as a thought, not caring how the part human felt about the entire scenario. The Time Lord took so much from him. His TARDIS, his identity, his connection to Gallifrey.
His Rose.
He began carrying a gun with him, strong arming information out of the locals he could find. He eventually started to use it, his previous stance on weapons discarded carelessly. It didn’t take long after that for him to recognise that the Doctor was not his name anymore.
He simply was nobody. Just a man who wanted — no, needed — revenge.
It was hard to deal with his own mortality throughout his journey. Sometime during his stop in the Jarloxian Galaxy, he lost his right hand. Blown off by a reverse engineered proximity mine. He built himself a robotic prosthetic to replace the hand he had lost. The hand that he was born from. His last physical reminder of his past.
The sword that mangled his face was another crushing reminder of his humanity and insignificance. It left a scar that would never fade. An angry red slash that would follow him for the rest of his days. This wasn’t a second chance.
This was a fault.
A curse, even.
The fatalities caused by him directly reached the hundreds throughout the next couple of years. He stopped trying to keep track of the indirect casualties. Information became more accessible while his reputation continued to grow. He gained nicknames that varied from planet to planet, striking a gut wrenching type of fear in those who heard it — regardless of the rough translation. The Oncoming Storm had nothing on him.
Now, here he was. Nameless and standing in the crowded street of Nivera IV, following the temporal signature that he had tracked from the TARDIS directly to this time and this location. The Doctor was here and he was going to make him pay.
He sees her before she sees him. She looked different now; blonde, less practical fashion taste, and was now a woman.
But here she is. The dark back alley of a space bazaar in the Artorox Galaxy. A new face and a new companion, probably having already forgotten about him and the pain she put him through. It was unbearable.
“You,” he growled, his steps beginning to build speed. “You.”
The Doctor barely heard him at the end of the alleyway. However, Yaz already had her eyes trained at the source of the sound, looking ready to handle the confrontation. A tall, lanky man was approaching them quickly. A metallic glint brought attention to the prosthetic hand that matched the side of his belt that held a holster. His tie flapped against his chest as his footsteps grew heavier.
“She’s gone! Do you fucking hear me?” His screams echoed off the tall buildings as his rage seeped out of him. Shoulders heaving and fists clenched, his eyes showed one specific emotion visible above all else.
Unbridled, delusional rage.
She recognized those eyes immediately. The all too familiar look of pain and loneliness. It was him. The man she had dumped in an alternate universe with her long lost love. The man who was born out of love and war.
‘And the cost is him.’
‘He’s too dangerous to be left on his own.’
‘You were born in battle, full of blood and anger and revenge.’
Oh, if only she knew the half of it.
“How did you get here? Where is Rose?” Her questions fell on deaf ears.
The Doctor didn’t even have time to react before the man grabbed her by the lapels of her coat and slammed her against the wall. His robotic hand was cold against the Doctor’s neck as his hands pressed into her. “IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT!”
“What is my fault?!” Panic began to rise in her mind. The thick, jagged scar going from his left cheekbone, across his mouth, and down the right side of his chin gave his snarl an even more sinister look.
“She fucking died!” the man screamed. “Rose is gone and it’s all your fault!” His left fist was trembling while his right hand tore the fabric of the Doctor’s cost with the sheer force of his grip in the robotic appendage.
Tears welled in the Doctor’s eyes at the news. “What-” she choked out, “What do you mean Rose died?”
The duplicate threw her onto the dirty pavement of the alley, her companion quickly coming to her aid as the crazed part Time Lord backed up, laughing coldly. “You killed her.” Venom laced his tone as he began to pace in front of the women, his left hand running through his hair. “She fucking shot herself. I was never the Doctor to her. To her, she was just abandoned again!”
“God,” the blonde sobbed. “I’m… I’m so sorry Doc-” She was quickly cut off by the man letting out a guttural scream, full of years of pent up rage and resentment, and rushing to stand over her.
“I AM NOT THE DOCTOR! I HAVE NEVER BEEN THE DOCTOR!”
His breathing was erratic, his eyes manic and pupils constricted. “I have been searching for you for years. I just wanted Rose back, but I knew you would never allow that to happen like the selfish prick you are.” He began to rant, all of his thoughts and memories spilling out like blood from a stab wound. “You cost me everything. My TARDIS. My identity.” He swallowed thickly, staring the Doctor in the eyes. “I don’t even want answers, Doctor. All I’ve wanted since then is revenge.”
Without warning, he removed his gun from his holster, aiming it directly at the Time Lady on the ground in front of him. She held her hands up in surrender as he pressed the barrel directly against her temple. Tears streamed down her cheeks, an ugly sob making its way out of her throat.
A wild grin played across his face as he pulled the trigger. The last words the Doctor would ever hear — spilling from his lips like an eternal reverie that had haunted him on repeat all these years. “This is for Rose.”

Some more Bounty Hunter AU:
In the early days of his "career," Sunny, being the novice that he is, would sometimes come home late with injuries.
Mari would admittedly get irritated with him for taking so long, being the perfectionist that she is, especially when it came past time to practice together; but that quickly turned to worry when she saw his sorry state. Nothing too serious, but definitely strange with how many cuts and bruises he had. Every single time she asked, Sunny would excuse his absence as helping a classmate study in the library, and the injuries as him being very clumsy (like tripping on his own feet, or falling down a short flight of stairs).
When the incident with the broken violin happened, and Mari's near death by the stairs, Sunny only apologizes before running out of the house.
He comes back with a few hours later with a brand new violin that he rented. He uses the same excuse he did with Mewo's vet bills, that the money came from him saving up.
They resume practicing for the recital, but this time it's very awkward. Sunny bottles his frustration back up even as his fingers are aching and stinging from sliding across the strings so much, and Mari is now a little suspicious, because even if rented, that new violin must have cost a lot, right? And as far as everyone else knows, Sunny's too young to have a part-time job.
When their parents come home, they notice that Sunny's violin looks different. Mari, afraid of how their dad will react, passes off the broken violin as an accident. Sunny tripped on the stairs and the force of the impact was enough to break it. Naturally, Dad is very mad about Sunny being "clumsy" and breaking such an expensive item; but thankfully not as mad as he definitely would have if he learned Sunny broke it on purpose.
The recital goes off without a hitch. Sunny's fingertips have started to bleed, but he manages to hide them well until it's time to call it a night. Mari spots the band-aids and feels bad about pushing him so much for the past several weeks; so the next morning she helps their mom cook Sunny's choice of foods throughout the day as an apology and a reward for his efforts, and goes with him to return the violin to the rental shop. On Sunny's part, he's just relieved the rest of that night had gone by without anymore incidents.
Shit finally hits the fan again weeks later when one of Sunny's "jobs" goes horribly wrong.
It's a tall order this time, kind of like the very first boss in a Fromsoft game. An actual felon who got busted in a drug ring and had someone (most likely a relative) pay bail.
Like before, he tells his family that he is studying with Basil (and actually does study with him late into the evening as prepwork) and will be home late; when really, he is hunting down a fugitive.
Except the fugitive is somehow armed and manages to clip Sunny in the clavicle (the collarbone).
Sunny has no other option but to retreat.
Even though his injury hurts so much, he still manages to make it back to his little hideout to put away his weapons and equipment before staggering back to the road to call emergency services. He tips off the police of where he last saw the "random" guy who shot him "for no reason," and lets himself pass out from blood loss when the ambulance arrives.
When he wakes up, the bills for surgery and treatment are rather hefty. Dad is furious, demanding to know what the hell Sunny was doing out so late. Even though Mom and Mari bring up that Sunny already let them know he was coming home late, and that he was shot on the way home, Dad is too angry to listen. (Mari was sobbing the entire time. Her baby brother almost died!)
When Sunny is finally discharged from the hospital, he stops his afterschool "activities" to recover, ease Mom and Mari's worries, and also lay low since the police are still questioning him over his whereabouts that night. (Mewo sticks with him the entire time~)
Investigators ask about the odd gap in-between him and Basil parting, and Sunny going home, because it surprisingly took him a little longer than expected. Sunny excuses that as him not feeling ready to go home yet and wanting to take a little detour for a moment of peaceful solitude. His "alibi" is otherwise solid enough.
Dad, on the other hand, is angry with the slight (but unintentional) implication about their home life (i.e. abuse and neglect) even though it is most certainly what happens often. A few weeks after the questioning has ceased, he finally leaves and never comes back, leaving Mom to pay the rest of Sunny's hospital bills.
Mari is having none of it and gets a part-time job in the shop Sunny rented a violin from.
Sunny's not having any of it either, but it's all he can do to resist offering up more than $20 - $30 without his mother and sister becoming suspicious. He only managed to get away with the $50 they know and witnessed him receive from their grandparents and other folks during Lunar New Years.
Grandparents are the best and send gift baskets and cards with $100s. The gang, of course, also pitches in; and Hero is the best big brother figure and researches advice and tips on gunshot wound recovery.
Mewo is just the sweetest little fella and follows Sunny everywhere~
All Sunny can think about is how his secret almost got out, and he metaphorically dodged a bullet.
(Apologies for the late response!) I would say as a small thing to add on, while not important (and I'm not sure if you mentioned this in the last ask that you've sent in the past), is if you made him wear more oversized clothing's and perhaps have some bandages in some places.......

Bounty Hunter Grian AU (Scar is the bounty but he makes it difficult)
Grian was good at his job. As a bounty hunter, it paid to be adaptable and efficient. He could spend weeks at a time playing the role of someone’s friend only to kill them when the time was right, or deliver them to the highest bidder. And he didn’t even feel bad about it, for the most part!
Above all, Grian prided himself on his ability to remain calm and collected in any situation.
Unfortunately, his latest mark was making that extremely difficult.
“Scar, put your clothes back on! You’re going to get yourself killed”
Grian shouted with exasperation at the man who he was attempting to gently shepherd in the direction of the nearest city. Who would be crazy enough to take their armor off in enemy territory? There were bandits in this desert! Not to mention the giant worms and the countless undead…
“Ah, I’m sorry Grian! It’s just that the sun feels so nice today. These muscles just can’t be contained!”
Scar flexed from atop his alpaca, and gave Grian a wide grin and a wink that inspired very little confidence. Grian looked away pointedly.
The client for this bounty was mysterious, and quite tight-lipped about their identity. They went by the title “The Jangler,” and communicated only through written messages. Normally Grian wouldn’t take a job from such an untrustworthy source, but the Jangler had paid a handsome amount of diamonds up front.
The bounty also specified that Scar was to be kept alive.
Alive. Somehow.
That was how Grian had come to be in his current personal hell.
‘It’ll be easy,’ he had said! Just pretend to be friends with this guy, kidnap him, deliver him to a safe house, and get a bunch of diamonds out of it! Done and dusted.
That was before he had met Scar. The man had an uncanny ability to flirt with danger at every turn.
Traveling the same road Grian has navigated for years? Would’ve gone swimmingly, but Scar insisted on taking the scenic route instead! Right into the middle of a zombified village that Grian promptly had to save them from.
Making camp for the night? Scar insisted that Grian trust his “Unbeatable camp-making skills” before promptly sticking the tent poles right into a burrow belonging to a venomous snake.
Stopping at an outpost for supplies? Pretty routine job, but Scar tried to scam the owner into buying some shiny pieces of glass. The owner caught on, and the whole place pulled crossbows on him. Grian had to break Scar out of a jail cell before the town quite literally executed him, AND he had to pay three times the normal amount for their supplies. Not to mention, he now couldn’t show his face in Tumble Town for a good while.
But miraculously, after many many long days, they were finally riding into the city where Grian was to deliver his mark.
And that meant it was time for him to finally show Scar his true colors.
“Grian— I don’t understand, what’s going on? I - ah, not so tight!”
With practiced motions, Grian used a lead to bind Scar’s wrists behind his back.
“I’m sorry Scar, I’m just doing my job. Though I am impressed! I’ve never had to work so hard to keep a mark from getting themselves killed.”
Scar was quiet, for perhaps the first time since Grian had met the man. He let himself be lead around the outskirts of the city to a large old mansion. Grian knocked on the door, and stood awkwardly for a few minutes with his tied-up quarry.
Grian sighed, “Well, that was a bit anticlimactic… I had my whole cool betrayal moment and everything! Did I get the address wrong?”
He began to reach for his pockets to find the note from the Jangler, but froze when he felt a blade against his neck.
His blood went cold.
“Well done, Grian! Now just hold still for a moment, I need to get my keys…” Scar spoke softly by Grian’s ear.
Grian was not a fan of being threatened, thank you very much. He began to reach for his sword “What on earth, Scar?! When did you untie—“
His struggle was thwarted by a surprisingly strong grip that wrestled his arms behind his back. With only one hand, apparently, because the other one reached around his shoulder to unlock the door.
In a much shorter amount of time than Grian cared to admit, he found himself inside the mansion and sitting across from Scar at an ornately carved wooden table.
And he was smiling that stupid grin of his again. Grian met his gaze with a glare.
“So I take it you are the Jangler?”
“The one and only! But please, Grian, we’re friends now aren’t we? You can still call me Scar.”
“Scar. Why on earth did you hire a bounty hunter to kidnap yourself?” Grian grumbled with his head in his hands.
“Well it was certainly safe, wasn’t it? I mean, you did such a good job saving me from all those threats, I don’t know what I would’ve done without you!”
“I’m not a bodyguard!”
“But it certainly paid well didn’t it? Oh, speaking of which, now that you’ve passed your interview: I have a job offer that you simply can’t refuse,” Scar remarked smugly.
“Interview?! That whole thing was—“
Scar slid a chest of diamonds across the table.
“Oh come on, Grian, for old times sake? For your friend Scar?”
Grian stared silently at the table for a moment, before meeting Scar’s eyes with a fierce gaze.
“Okay, I’ll bite. What’s the job?”

Bounty hunter Luffy au.
Him and the Strawhats are a bounty hunting group, Luffy and Zoro will meet one year before cannon and Coby will stay with them.
Yassop with somehow find out that Usopp is a bounty hunter and he will have a double take.
Shanks will probably join him.
Garp is banging his he against a wall, because why would a kid who grew up with thieves right next to a poor country with a corrupt government ever hate the government.
Ace probably already knew that Luffy was going down that path, he's proud.
Luffy won't wear the strawhat because he doesn't believe that he deserves to.
Shanks will develop a slightly worse drinking problem over this. He just wants the anchor he knows back.
Ace will live in this au solely because I'm saying that the world government offered the bounty hunting group a warlord position.
That's how they became the Strawhats. Luffy will start wearing the hat afterwards, if Shanks gives him permission too.
Oh ya Dragon was proud of Luffy for being a bounty hunter, then not as much over becoming a warlord, then was proud again when he betrayed the world government. Even more so when he learned that Luffy saved Robin's life.
Shanks's drinking problem gets ever so slightly worse when Luffy becomes a pirate and still doesn't wear the hat.
He's genuinely shocked when Luffy gave him the hat back apologizing for going back on his word.
Anyway Luffy starts wearing the hat again after Shanks punches him and puts the hat on em.
