in no particular order, actually. these three fluctuate depending on my mood. but for a good while, when iswm parts 1 and 2 dropped (and before the 10 years of markiplier livestream), actor mark was my number one. the idea that he was the one orchestrating date, heist, and space was just so, so tempting and fit right with the numerous amount of headcanons the fandom had.
just now, i actually fast forwarded to the part in "10 years of markiplier" where mark explains that head engineer was not actor mark. immediately, i flashed back to the first time i watched this livestream (live the day of) and got bombarded with the nostalgic feeling of "holy shit, we've been abusing our head engineer, the one who's been looking up to us this whole time, the one who hangs onto our every word and trusts us with every fiber of his being, and not actor mark, the douchebag who actually deserved it?"
that's when head engineer and actor mark switched spots for me, with head engineer at #1 and actor at #3. i legitimately thought there was gonna be a redemption arc for actor because everyone thought head engineer was actor. the "hold on" ending with the wkm ost really just solidified that for me.
and then mark said, "nope. that's not actor mark."
and then amy went, "controversial 👀"
and it was! our poor head engineer. that "don't" scene? purely him. no actor mark to influence it. the culmination of the feeling of abandonment, the thought that we purposefully sabotaged the ship so that we could have our fun going through the same "loop" over and over again...no wonder he hated us when he was stuck in that warp core room. it was a wonderfully written and well-acted scene. i love mark for giving us head engineer.
and like. yancy is just 🥰 my heart beats for him every time he passes on my screen.
i'm sure this wasn't what you had in mind when you asked me about my top 3 mark egos but !!!! i love not shutting up about them 🥰

Okay, so, fellow anon said something about username let(hyphen)ms(hyphen)blog, right?
They only have one post so far and it seems like an attempt at "debunking" one of us.
The link they use is from the Philippine News Agency, and it seems credible since it is the official government-provided source of news.
Note: seems. Right now, especially.
I was in the middle of typing a description as to why I'm reporting it when I suddenly felt like stepping back and asking questions. Where did this link come from? Is it really false information or is it actually part of the truth?
Unfortunately, even if it was part of the truth of our current reality, the way let(hyphen)ms(hyphen)blog phrased their reblog sounded aggressive, and their pfp isn't really making them seem any more trustworthy either.
Just my thoughts! Be particularly careful of how you word your description should you report their one (1) reblog of false information.
P.S. if anyone's wondering why I actually type the word "hyphen" instead of using the hyphen (-) itself: it's to make sure they don't find this post easily.
the thing with philippine news agency is that while it can be a credible news source, it is government-funded and is extremely prone to being used to prop up the government. take a look at some headlines:
"prrd lauded" "prrd to grace" very interesting ways to word things. so yes, while PNA can be a credible source there's also the matter of it being used to further gov propaganda. we just have to be careful and selective the information they show.
the blog also looks like a burner blog. the only post they have is one made to debunk/attack anti-m*rcos people here. very reminiscent of troll accounts on twitter and facebook.
