I forgot how much I loved the dynamic between Jaha and Murphy. They were such a chaotic, messy duo that I never expected when I first watched the show.

My husband came up with the idea last night, and I told him I’d share it. We’re nearly done season 4 and he hates Jaha so much right now, esp after stirring shit up in the bunker to nearly start a rebellion against sharing it.

Clexa Fanfic Series: something wicked (this way comes)
Synopsis: After the death of coven leader Thelonius Jaha, Gustus Woods' banishment from Polis, Massachusetts is lifted and he moves back with his two daughters, Anya and Alexandria Woods, who have no idea of their family lineage or the prophecy that had been foretold long before either were born.
Chapter 4: midnight séance (words: 8,746)
Clarke and Lexa hold hands on the docks, looking out into the ocean as they enjoy their own cones of gelato. Clarke offers her cone to Lexa, who licks the raspberry flavor. She offers her’s to Clarke who scrunches up her nose.
“No thank you, only you would get some weird tiramisu flavor.” Clarke remarks. Lexa laughs and rolls her eyes.
“It’s good! Come here, try it.” Lexa uses her hand that is holding Clarke’s to bring her closer as Clarke squeals and laughs as Lexa shoves the cone in her face, smearing it on Clarke’s nose and lips.
“Lexa!” Clarke exclaims, laughing but never actually trying to get away. Clarke licks the flavor off her lips, and jokingly pouts about the gelato on her nose. Lexa chuckles, leaning in to lick it off.
“There, all clean. It was good though wasn’t it.” Lexa smirks. Clarke rolls her eyes and laughs.
“Whatever you want to think, Lex.” Clarke guides them to sit on a bench that overlooks the water, watching the boats leave the harbor and some coming back in. The two sit together, just enjoying each other’s company and finishing their gelato. It had been a few weeks since the dinner. Summer was starting to come to a close, and since they had decided to pull back a little on investigating, they’ve been spending all their time together. Clarke teaching Lexa more spells, Lexa researching spells Clarke hadn’t known about, the two practicing together. Going on dates and learning more and more about each other. Clarkes learned about the time Lexa had a bad concussion during soccer that she forgot how to read for half a day. Lexa knows about the time Clarke cried because her kindergarten crush named Riley didn’t want to be her valentine. Lexa knows that when Clarke is nervous, she chews on her bottom lip, Clarke knows when Lexa is frustrated, she works her jaw from side to side.

On The Ground All Can Hear You Scream

Summary: Novitiate Lexa is captured by reapers and wakes up locked in a cage, not knowing that the blonde who finds her there will change her destiny. Unless this enemy turns out to be who Fate had in store for her?

Chapter 6: Do Not Die
Clarke put on the black gloves, double checking that they covered the sleeves of her hazmat suit and wouldn’t let the air in. The smallest interstice would lead to a terrifying, unpleasant death — the most common nightmare among her people. Reassured, she placed the mask over her face, tying it around her head and taking a few breaths. So far, so good.
“You don’t have to go, Clarke,” her mother said for the tenth time. The frown deeply set between her brows threatened to become permanent and appeared deeper every time the two women talked. “I don’t see why you should put yourself at risk. Lexa and the other leaders can come here. It would be safer.”
The teenager rolled her eyes, grateful for the plastic cover that partially hid her face and made it difficult for Abby to see her. Their relationship had been tense since Abby suggested Clarke spend less time with Trikru and focus on herself. And even more since she started training with Lincoln on a regular basis.
She knew that her mother meant well and worried about her and her mental health. Years of inaction followed by a rebellion during which her hands ended up covered in blood had taken their toll. Unfortunately, the doctor failed to see how Clarke needed to be useful and busy rather than be coddled like a child. She had stopped being one the day she found the cages and risked her life to save another girl she knew nothing about.
Lexa, on the other hand, understood. The group of volunteers that had arrived the day before brought an official invitation for Clarke to visit the newly erected camp at the foot of Mount Weather and meet some clan leaders. To her mother’s great displeasure, the girl immediately sent the messenger back with a “yes,” grateful for the excuse to go outside and excited to see the brunette again.
“Mom, we’ve been over this.” Repeatedly, all evening, loud enough that the neighbors looked at them funny in the morning. “We can’t always expect them to come to us. We have to make concessions and open up to their world too. The guards used these suits many times before; I’ll be fine. Besides, it’s important that we meet Lexa’s allies and show them that we’re not a threat. Having them come here, asking them to strip, and drenching them in corrosive powder wouldn’t exactly put them in a good, trusting mood, would it?”
Abby deflated at the answer, knowing her daughter had a point, before sighing loudly. “Fine. But Marcus offered to go. He has more experience than you, sweetheart. He would make a perfect emissary.”
To his credit, the bearded man had come a long way since his days as a guard obeying President Wallace’s orders. Shaken by all the horrors he had witnessed, he rebelled when Pike, his superior, ordered the guards to kill teenagers. And saved Jake’s life when one of his oldest friends, Thelonius Jaha, nearly killed him. Hoping to make up for the years during which he had turned a blind eye, he showed the Triku volunteers nothing but respect and started learning their language. Clarke knew that Lexa appreciated the quiet man. Still, it was not his name the messenger had uttered.
“Lexa invited me. Refusing or sending someone else would be disrespectful. Even more so in front of other leaders.”
Based on what Lincoln had told her about the budding Coalition, Clarke was confident in her assessment. Lexa already took risks by letting them live; the blonde would be damned if she did anything that would put her friend in more danger.
Not wanting to extend the conversation any longer and give her mother more time to argue, Clarke opened the shower room door. Closing it carefully behind her to avoid leaks inside the mountain, she headed for the exit, ready to face the day. And what could well be the meeting of a lifetime. No pressure.
For the second time in her short existence, a few tears escaped as she left the tunnel and felt the sun on her face — or as close as it got with the suit. The Grounders couldn’t possibly realize how blessed they were to enjoy this little miracle every day. The one they had paid a heavy price for, fighting over the rubble of the destroyed world for generations.
Before she could savor the outside for more than a few seconds, a voice interrupted her contemplation. “Should I give you a moment?”
Anya, leaning against the wall outside the tunnel, boredly playing with a knife. Although Clarke wouldn’t go as far as saying that she had missed the sarcastic warrior, being greeted by a familiar face felt nice.
“Heya, Anya. It’s good to see you again. I had no idea I was getting a babysitter.”
The lean woman rolled her eyes and pushed herself from the wall with one foot, huffing as she sheathed her weapon. “We’ve been here since sunrise. You’re late. Let’s go.”
With an apologetic grimace at Tris, who looked almost as bored as her mentor, Clarke fell into Anya’s steps. As amusing as it was to annoy her, the teenager was glad Lexa had sent an escort. Trapped in her suit as she was, she wouldn’t stand a chance if a rogue warrior upset by the peace treaty decided to take their revenge out on her.
“Are you keeping up with your training?” Anya asked halfway to the camp, surprising Clarke. Based on the two weeks Anya had spent in Mount Weather, she had expected nothing but broody silence.
“Yes. Lincoln is a thorough teacher. We started using knives recently on top of staffs and hand-to-hand techniques. My mother and a few other parents were furious, as usual.” Clarke had had Jackson stitch her up in secret when an overenthusiastic Octavia cut the side of her thigh lest Abby forbade her from stepping into the gym again. “He has also told me about the various clans, especially Trikru allies and the war with Azgeda.”
Anya nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer. There was no way for her to test Clarke’s progress as long as they were outside. However, the blonde wouldn’t put it past Anya to join the next group of volunteers just so she could kick her ass on the ring and tell her to train harder.
Their arrival at the camp didn’t go unnoticed, and dozens of pairs of eyes followed Clarke as she slalomed between the tents, praying her feet wouldn’t get tangled in anything.
There had to be around 200 people, mostly Trikru, although she recognized some different outfits from Lincoln’s sketches. Trishanakru warriors and their dotted tattoos. Yujleda gona resembling Trikru except for the green of their clothes. And some men and women with necklaces made of stones — Boudalan, she inferred. The three clans officially allied to Trikru, whose leaders Lexa wanted her to meet.
Anya led her into the largest tent at the camp’s center. Heda’s, without a doubt. The scary-looking man and woman guarding the entrance tightened their hold on their swords but let them pass, and Clarke recognized them as some of Lexa’s guards who had accompanied her inside Mount Weather.
Not waiting for Clarke to steel her nerves, Anya walked between them and stepped inside, declaring in a poised voice, “Heda. Klark kom Maunon.” As if the dark-green hazmat suit wasn’t a dead giveaway of her identity.
Despite the diplomatic stakes, Clarke paid no attention to the large rectangular table at the center covered in maps or the people standing around it, their conversation frozen. Her eyes immediately focused on the back of the tent, unable to resist the magnetic pull of the commanding figure silently watching the scene, her two other guards standing beside her.

So you're mildly interested in The 100 but it's garbage and you just want the goods of fanfic?
said no one ever. but here we go
Cheater article
1900s : Mount Weather Emergency Operations center is constructed in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the United States as a military bunker.
2051 : Scientist Dr. Becca Franco, created an AI A.L.I.E. (Applied Lucent Intelligence Emulator), but turns out the AI is a eugenicist and subscribes to the thought of overpopulation, and that the greatest threats to humans (the mystery she was created to solve) is humans. Franco shuts that shit down. She retreats to her personal space station, Polaris, to continue studying, where she created a new A.I. dubbed A.L.I.E. 2 (and only compatible with a special blood compound she also created, called nightblood)
2052 : A.L.I.E. launches a worldwide nuclear strike to “save the human race” due to its calculation that there were “too many people.” She set out to solve the world’s overpopulation problem by eliminating enough of the human race to save the rest.
2054 : October 1st, the first Unity Day. 13 separate space stations from 12 separate nations (plus Franco’s) are trying to ride out the apocalypse that’s happening on the surface. The 12 stations are way too sus about Franco and how she made ALIE and Alpha Station shoots Polaris down. With her fall, the remaining 12 join as one and create The Ark - the supposed last bastion of human survivors.
PYSCH. Franco didn’t die with the rest of her station, she jettisoned in a little pod, shot up with Nightblood and having shoved ALIE 2.0 into the back of her neck at her brain stem (ALIE 2 being an implanted AI to better understand human emotions, unlike its predecessor who was a stand alone AI). She crashes to earth with the rest of the superhuman blood- i mean, nightblood, and tries to help the ppl who survived on the surface (everyone in space thought everyone else died). Her story becomes the legend of the First Commander and her technology becomes the foundation of the Grounder society, with the Nighblood passing through Grounders. A.L.I.E. 2.0 becomes "The Flame," a chip passed down and implanted through the generations of Grounder leaders called Commanders, which contains the memories of all Commanders before them.
2100-2149 : On the Ark, Abigail Griffin, Marcus Kane, Thelonius Jaha, Charles Pike are born and live in humanity's post-apocalyptic society in space.
The generation below them also grows up on the Ark, including Clarke Griffin, Bellamy and Octavia Blake, Monty Green, Raven Reyes, John Murphy, Jasper Jordan, Harper McIntyre, Finn Collins, Nathan Miller, and Wells Jaha, all of whom will make their way to Earth at the start of the series with the Delinquents.
On Earth, the Grounders become the descendants of Earth's human survivors, developing new languages, faith, and customs foreign to the pre-apocalypse world. 12 Grounder Clans emerge, as well as societies of nomadic grounders.
OK done with the condensed and relevant version of that article, now to the important plot.
Clarke is MC
Mom: Abby, head of medical clinic
Dad: Jake, head of engineering or smn
Chancellor: Thelonius Jaha
Wells: Chancellor’s son, clarke’s bff
Because they’re all part of the Elite Alpha Station, they don’t get a lot of acceptance from the others that are essentially considered lower class by default, so they tend to band together very clichishly
There are limited resources on the Ark, obvs, so shit like one kid only rule, food rations, recycling of  goods (like clothes), etc. That also means that all “crimes” are super detrimental and get you floated… into space. Death penalty style. Unless you’re a minor, then you get incarcerated until you’re 18 when you go through a revision and maybe you’re let back into populace or maybe they float you anyway
So
Jake finds out the Ark’s oxygen scrubbing system is in catastrophic failure. Like not just a little glitch but full failing. And there’s nowhere to run in space, so he tells Abby and suggests they tell everyone so everyone can be in on the decision of what to do moving forward. Abby is hesitant, and they bring it up to Jaha (Thelonius is Jaha, Wells is Wells) who immediately shoots it down - mass panic and all that. Jake still presses that they should Let The People Know and while that who whatever is going down, Clarke hears her dad talking about it. She stresses over it, confides in Wells about it, and then her father is floated for treason (recording a video he intended to release to the public about the failure). She is 17 and so they toss her in the Skybox (juvy) but gen pop gets visitation with the outside, so they put her in solitary for the rest of her sentence so she can’t blab.
Just before her 18th (revision hearing anticipated), guards bust in and haul her out. She flips, thinking they’re floating her early, probably starting in the Skybox to save on oxygen. But no, she sees her mom for a sec and she explains they’re sending down the kids in a dropship to test if earth is safe. It’s not projected to be for another few generations, but clarke knows there’s a time crunch. she knows the real why. They zap her and she wakes up on the dropship, descent already starting, and there’s… Wells? Goody Two Shoes Chancellor’s Son? the only other person she told about her dad. wtf yanno. He confesses to her he got arrested to get sent down on the Dropship with her. ok but didn’t you sell out her dad? Question Mark?
They have monitoring cuffs to relay their vitals to the Ark to see just how toxic earth is now. There’s supposed to be a radio but it gets fried in the rough landing. They go out and WOW EARTH! But they were supposed to be dropped on Mount Weather, uninhabited maybe, but should still be stocked with pre-war goodies. they’re also horny, stupid, delinquent teens so they just start dicking around and taking off their wristbands (fuck the Ark, they don’t get to know about us, they sent us on a suicide mission) and clarke is like. Hello? The Ark is dying. Pissbaby (Bellamy Blake) is like so what. Whatever the hell we want. And clarke is like uhhhhh do you know farming like the aptly named Farm Station? Do you know medicine? Tell me what you do know. Oh right, you were training to be a guard to keep your sister (a second child *gasp*) safe, you both got caught, she was iced, you got demoted to a janitor, and then the head of the guards was like “shoot jaha and i’ll get you on that dropship” and so you did. What a Big Bad Boy. boring. But he knows how to appeal to the rest of the delinquents, and so he’s effective.
So they try to actually survive (food, water, shelter, under clarke’s direction mostly) because maybe they don’t hate everyone on the Ark. clarke gets some of them to head out towards mount weather, just to see what they could benefit from. but on their way there, one of them gets speared. Holy shit there are people living on the ground! And then the rest of them get their ass in gear and try to actually survive. people start dying, surprise surprise, they get panicked by the threat of people already established on the land they were told was their birthright and by the fact that they’re woefully underprepared. also Super Charming Space Walker Finn is hitting on clarke and she’s kinda into it because wow. hormones. there’s also this acid fog that rolls through sometimes and boils the skin off their bones.
One time, she’s running from it with Finn and Wells and they find an old, mostly buried car to hide out in.
Canonically, she hops in with them to flirt and brood and drink.
Canonically, she goes with them back to the rest of the delinquents and the Dropship.
Canonically, she is Skaikru (the Grounder word for People Of The Sky) and is treated as such.
But also like. Canon is garbage anyway
And instead, we were gifted with KL Morgan
And KL Morgan gifted us with Destruction
And then for more canonical aus, we have KL Morgan (again ofc) with The Lay of the Looking Glass Land - it does take up further into canon so this blurb wouldn't be sufficient

Honestly the bait and switch of thelonius seeming reasonable in s1 and then going back and realising he’s always been the worst and the only good thing he ever did is inexplicably raise the best character in the show (who also doesn’t like him! A sign! He may love him but oooooh I don’t think wells likes him) was genius

I know most people can’t stand Jaha (I happen to like him) but can we just appreciate that he was the first person to treat Murphy like an actual human being despite him sending the delinquents to the ground in the first episode. Character development.
Plus I loved their dynamic on the col quest and I wish they didn’t ruin that.

Once you all got a hold of yourselves you all trekked back to camp. It was night again once you all made it back. Bellamy wanted to have a sit-down talk about Mount Weather with you and Clarke.
“Okay, tell me again,” Bellamy asks.
“It’s a labyrinth. We got to the dam through this tunnel. It’s all connected to the mine system. That’s our way in,” You explain pointing at Clarke’s drawing.
“Sure, if we can get past the reapers and the Mountain men. I swear to god, if your mom, Clarke, doesn’t sanction a mission soon… I’m going by myself,” Bellamy states.
“You won’t be by yourself,” Clarke says. You and Clarke notice as Finn makes his way out of the Ark.
“I guess the inquisition’s over,” Bellamy says turning around. “How’s Finn doing, anyway?” Bellamy asks turning back around.
“I haven’t talked to him since we got back. I don’t know what to say. He just kept shooting,” Clarke responds.
“We’re at war, Clarke. We’ve all done things,” Bellamy states.
“Hey,” Finn says as he gets to us.
“Hey,” Bellamy says instead. Bellamy and I notice the little stare-off that Clarke and Finn were locked in, “Next rounds on me,” Bellamy says getting up.
“I’ll help you,” You respond, knowing you should give the two privacy.
“So how you been? I mean since you got back. We haven’t had much time to catch up,” Bellamy asks as you two go get drinks.
“I’m good. Things still hurt but I’m getting better. You?” You ask back.
“I’m good too. Better now that you’re back,” He smiles. “Three drinks,” Bellamy says getting to the table.
“Well, I’m just glad to know you all are safe,” You respond as the man hands you three cups. You walk back to the table but find that Clarke is gone.
“Well, I guess this is ours,” Bellamy says.
“Splitsies?” You ask. Bellamy then pours half of the third drink into your cup and the other half in his.
The next morning Clarke explained to you that they all plan to head out to Mount Weather again. You get ready and wait to meet up with everyone. To your surprise, Abby Griffin and a few other guards were coming along as well.
“I can’t believe they let Finn come,” Octavia says as you all trek through the forest.
“He’s the best tracker we’ve got,” Bellamy states. “Don’t forget to look up. The grounders use the trees. That’s how we lost John Mbege,” Bellamy says.
After a few more hours of walking through the forest, you all stop to take a small break and to figure out where you all were, “There. I see it,” Raven says as she looked through the binoculars.
“It’ll be dark soon. We’ll never spot the traps. We should set up camp here. Leave at first light,” Clarke says after seeing what Raven was looking at. As you, Rave and, Clarke leave Abby announces that two people are missing. After Clarke and her mom have a little quarrel, Abby tells a guard to go find Bellamy and Octavia.
“I’m going with them,” Finn says picking up a gun.
“Finn, wait,” Clarke says.
“We need you here,” Raven steps in front of Finn.
“Why? So you can keep an eye on me?” Finn asks annoyed. “You’d have to be able to look at me to do that,” He protests noticing Clarkes look.
“Finn,” Raven says stepping closer to him.
“What do you think I’m gonna do?” Finn asks jolting back.
“Finn,” Clarke says as Finn walks away pissed. “I’ll go get him,” Clarke says following him.
Not soon after you notice the acid fog as you all set up camp, “Quick! Get in your tents, acid fog!” You yell to the remaining group. You quickly get into a tent with Raven and Abby.
“Clarke, Clarke. Do you read me?” Abby says into the radio.
“We’re closer to the source. It’s swallowing short-range now too,” Raven says.
“Clarke, do you read me?” Abby asks into the radio again.
“Clarke and Finn know these woods,” You state.
“She left her pack, and her tent is in it,” Abby states back.
“They’ll find shelter,” Raven says fiddling with her radio device. Soon enough you hear warped voices over her radio.
“What is that?” Abby asks.
“I don’t know. It sounds like they’re jamming every frequency but this one. You hear that? This one’s clear,” Raven says.
“That sounds clear to you?” You ask while muffled voices were still coming through.
“It will be once I crack the encryption,” Raven says.
“English, Rave. What does that mean?” Abby asks.
“It means we’ll be able to listen in on Mount Weather,” Raven reveals. Raven continues to fiddle with her radio device as you wait for the fog to clear.
“What’s taking so long?” Abby asks impatiently.
“I almost got it. They’re using a type of audio modulation here, like a feedback loop. I just need to pinpoint the origin of the loop, home in on the pure transmission. Just need to find the right…” Raven says as she continues to fiddle. Soon enough a clear voice comes over the radio.
“Check the other side and report back, over,” A man’s voice says.
“You did it,” Abby smiles.
“Checking the western boundary. Stand by. Over. No signs of life, over,” Another man says over the radio.
“Has the veil lifted yet? Over,” The first man says.
“Negative, sir. Coverage is still 90 percent. Over,” The second man responds.
“Keep searching. If they pop up, hit them again, over and out,” The first man says.
“The veil,” Abby says.
“They’re talking about the fog. It’s a weapon,” You say.
“Which means they attacked us,” Raven says.
Abby looks out the small window to see that the fog is still there, “ Sargent Porter,” She says.
“Yes, ma’am,” He responds from another tent.
“Build your bomb. When that fog lifts, take the tower down. Copy?” Abby orders.
“I copy, ma’am,” He responds as Raven shakes her head.
“What’s wrong?” Abby asks taking notice of Raven’s look.
“We’re listening to the enemy. Blow the antenna, we won’t be able to do that,” Raven says.
“Don’t blow it and we won’t make contact with any other Ark survivors. We need those reinforcements, Raven,” Abby says back.
“Tough call,” You say.
“I know what Clarke would do,” Raven says.
Once the fog lifted, you and the others waited for the rest to make it back. After a few minutes passed, Clarke and Finn returned, “Bellamy and Octavia?” Clarke asks.
“They know to rendezvous here,” Abby responds.
“Have you tried to radio?” Clarke asks.
“Still jammed,” Raven answers.
“You didn’t blow the tower,” Clarke says realizing we can’t talk to anyone still.
“Raven figured out a way that we could listen to Mount Weather. If we took out the antenna we wouldn’t be able to do that,” You say.
“What about the other Ark stations?” Clarke asks.
“We don’t know if they made it. What we do know is that 47 of our people are being held prisoner in that mountain. We’re gonna get them out,” Abby says before pulling Clarke into a hug.
“Help!” You hear someone say in the distance.
“Stay here, Chancellor,” A guard says to Abby as he runs off. As the guards hold their guns up to the man he comes out of the forest. To your surprise, it was Thelonius Jaha, just one more person you didn’t want to see.
“Stand down,” He says pushing the guards gun down.
“Thelonius?” Abby asks quietly.
“I have a message from the commander. Leave...or die. We have two days,” He says out of breath.
A/N: Wow this week is full of fillers. Hope you all enjoyed this filler.

Chapter 5: back to school (words 11,270)
Clarke begins kissing down Lexa’s neck as she lays with her eyes closed, a slight smirk on her face as she pretends to sleep. Clarke laughs a little, knowing Lexa is pretending.
“Wake up.” She whispers in a playful sing-song way as she continues kissing her girlfriend. Lexa shakes her head, still keeping her eyes closed. Clarke lifts her head from Lexa’s neck and laughs, kissing the girls’ pillowy lips. “First day of school.” She whispers, her lips never straying from Clarke’s.
Lexa grunts, “Let’s drop out.” Before kissing Clarke. Clarke laughs into the kiss. Lexa putting her arm around Clarke and flipping their positions, beginning to kiss Clarke’s neck back. Clarke lets out a soft moan, seriously considering Lexa’s suggestion as her hands move down Clarke’s body. Lexa moves to Clarke’s lips, beginning to roughly make out with one another. Their tongues massaging one another’s, it’s dirty and Clarke is seriously considering skipping first period at least on her first day of senior year if it means they can continue this.
