It was a little bit challenging to use gorgonzola for my pasta. WEEK 1

I was inspired to take this photo because I really enjoyed viewing Gregory Halpern: Omaha Sketchbook Card Game, Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility, Omaha, NE. While that photograph focused on the card game itself that brought the bonds of the members of the correctional facility together, I focused more on the table itself and the meaning behind it. This table I saw at the Conran Shop brought together all different chairs of different shapes and sizes with colorful obscure objects ranging from board games to abstract sculptures. What this symbolized to me was how a large dining table such as this one can bring together so many different people and personalities to do a combined action of playing a game or eating a meal. I focused the angle of this shot to be able to see all the chairs on one side of the table, showing how they are all different while displaying the objects on the table and the brightly lit background space lined with artwork. There are no subjects in this photo but I do not believe that took anything away from the composition or meaning of it because each chair was unique therefore symbolizing different individuals.
