Skubby walks into the living room in the worst red dragon costume ever seen. It the head has a santa cap fixed to it with duct tape. The Basement kobold takes a moment to notice, busy dangling the decorations on the tiny plastic tree standing in the living.

Skubby: "RAWR, IT IS ME, SANTA CLAWS! I COME BEARING GIFTS FOR A CERTAIN KOBOLD!!!!"

Kobold: "Wh-! YIP!"

The Basement kobold jumps up and runs over, tackling skubby, who can barely keep their balance in theclunky costume.

Skubby: "INDEED! I BROUGHT A GIFT FOR YOU!"

The costume wiggles a bit before a gift box falls out of it. The kobold is instantly on it, carefully unwrapping it. But surprisingly the kobold puts the book with professional dragon photographs aside and pulls out, what looks like, a still packaged coffee machine. While the wrapping paper is not nearly enough to package it, the kobold tries its best.

Skubby: "What... are you doing? Dont you like that book?"

Kobold: "Yip (assuring). Gift for Skubby!"

Skubby: "Thats... very thoughtful of you, I heard skubby wasnt expecting anything."

It wouldnt be until a week later skubby learned that the kobold used all the change it found im the basement to buy that gift.
