I think it's silly to say the atla 2010 movie doesn't exist though I can't be mad at the silly memes that come with it. but it has a great zhao death.. and some good aang/gyatso flashbacks i mean aang made him the amulet? thats precious as shit.. tho them burying gyaso in natla is agood additon.

it has a interesting tone.. going from Grim as shit to DisneyCornball vibes.. it def got me to think about how many died in the north during Zhaos attack silly me thought everyone lived

I do wish katara and aang hugged in the end it seemed like they were afraid to let the kids hugs and i dunno whyyyy...

but is it terrible? no it just.. Expostion, boring, clunky, Dallas was very good, Sokka got a few good lines, i hate that the trio kept getting seperated. aang/sokka are suppose to meet jet/bumi at the same time.. everyone was doing solo missions and it felt off.

avatar aang cgi was super uncanny valley goofy to me.

Momo was cute/Appa was fluffy i'd love to see em more esp momo.

Yues wig in the movie was better

I can agree that aang in the animated series going from finding gyaso body to playing on kyosih island tone is rather jarring.. so the idea of aang grieving /not being in a super good mood makes sense but really it doesn't help when all the dang avatars tell him to be friendless..

Kyoshi was the worse her characzation suckkkkeed.

Bumi i could understand on some aspect wehre he was coming from even if he annoyed me. at least him being sore/broken down from the war /being mad at aang makes sense. Kyoshi had no reason to blame aang when she knows its on Roku the war started

anyway i dont think it deserves super hate nor do i think its super great its just. okay... i get it i aws angry at it for a bit but the more i thought of it the more i thought there are bits i liked .. like dallas/Ian /momo/ so there was a bit of savalage stuff for me..

so if people love its that cool. i see zero issue or a reason why we need to be BUT acuatlly to people who loved honestly that's great. Let em love it thecast worked hard on the show. people are free to enjoy things we don't it doesn't make us better than them it just a matter of opinion

but atla fandom oh you love love.. not letting people have opinions that don't agree to yours. this fandom is so.. toxic.. critsizing is good but don't be mean to fans who enjoy things..

Quick Ramble :Spanish Dracula (1931)

So Not gonna do a full review of this ,but will do a little ramble

So when Universal were making the classic Dracula starring Bela Lugosi ,they decided to film a Spanish version at night ,and the filmmakers decided to one up the English Language version ,thus the debate over which is better

Now EVERY discussion of this film is about comparing the two but I wanna look at it as its own movie.So getting it out of the way : The Spanish version is better,like no doubt in my mind cause the film bothers to wrap up its plot lines (Yeah apart from some great performances I actually have issues with the English Language Dracula )

The pros of the film is how it LOOKS this movie has some gorgeous shots and the way things are framed (I especially love Dracula appearing to REnfield ) ,I think it uses silence effectively , and thecast is super lively.I think Lupita Tovar is underrated as Eva (who is the equivalent to the Mina character ),Eduardo Arozamena brings a strength to Van Helsing, I am in the minority but I actually like the wilde eyed animalistic take on Count Dracula by Carlos Villerias ,and Pablo Álvarez Rubio  is PHENOMENAL as Renfield ,One of the best Renfields I have ever seen

The problem with the film is the same one I have with the english version.....A lot happens off screen....And it can get dull .Thats why I cant really declare it a personal favorite though I do appreciate and admire the film and do enjoy it more then its counterpart

2024.3.21 1月に出かけた横浜釣りフェスにて、プロアングラーでありYouTube配信をしている小泉貴久さん( @takahisa_koizumi0096 )より逆輸入的に紹介してもらった富山の醤油。釣り場に近い黒部の〝泉田醤油店〟( @izumitashoyu )の醤油たち。我が家の欠かせる事の出来ない味になってしまった。既に2回も買い求めに。甘口醤油は苦手だったのに美味しいぞ。特に刺身に合う。酒粕が苦手だった私が美味しく食べられる味噌はもう無くなりそう。お肉などを漬けて焼くだけで美味しい。いつもの煮物や魚の煮付けもグレードアップ。

料理は出来上がったらすぐに食べて欲しい派なのでいろいろ作っていますが、写真を撮りそびれ数枚だけ。

そして醤油を使ったケーキも絶妙な味わい。珈琲にも合いました。

我が家の推しとなった〝泉田醤油店〟のご紹介でした。

It wasn't flop, they sold enough for a litrrly mid movie. You shouldn't expect to be a huge blockbuster lmaoo. There weren't even such huge actors there. Neither of casts had fanbase or gp care about them to sit their ass in theater lol.

In order for a movie to be successful and for the studio to make a profit off of it, it Has to make at least three times its budget. Don’t worry darling. It barely made their budget in North America and it barely made their budget worldwide. They only made double their budget. That isn’t good. That basically means the movie flopped.  Let’s not forget the money that they put into promotion. Not that thecast did any promotion, but it probably cost him a lot of money to promote this movie the way that they did not to mention to get their movie into Venice film festival. The studios knew that this movie was going to flop. That’s why they had the cast do no promotion whatsoever, they only had one premier in New York, which was a flop because no one cared for it and it’s why they sent Olivia to do damage control. Don’t worry Darling was supposed to come out in early 2022. They pushed it back because not only was the movie not ready, but they knew that it wasn’t going to sell with all the other cute movies that were coming up that year. September was the only time that they could put a movie out and somehow hopefully make money. Not to mention Olivia and the studios were so overconfident with it that they released it during award beat season where most of the big award were the movies come out. The movie flopped hard. The reason it did somewhat decently in the box office and the reason why it was able to make a little bit of money is because of the drama that happened. If that didn’t happen, no one would’ve saw that movie and it would’ve went to shit more than it already did.
