Gawd chapter 28 & 29 of Cord... Sigh, I need reminder of when time was simpler for CoC's Loustat.

But this scene was also in TVL! Anne Rice (TVL): It was mayhem getting into the hall. Through a crush of guards, we ran into the heavily secured backstage area. The fans tore at our hair, our capes. I reached back and gathered Louis under my wing and brought him through the doors with us.
