Back home Vaughn is all over Veronica. She's become such an important part of his life he doesn't even want to think about her leaving. He would grovel for the rest of his life to get her forgiveness. He doesn't want to live without her. He needs to find time to talk to her

Later that night exhausted and lying in bed Vaughn has his arms wrapped around Veronica refusing to let her go

Veroinca: Omg Vaughn it's hot get off me

Vaughn: I'll turn on the A/C

Veroinca: Ugh, what's the matter with you?

Vaghun: Nothing. Can't I enjoy your company? Are you going to be busy these in few days?

Dahli settled on the couch beside her sister and opened the Legacy rules to the page for Generation Two. “Not so much a question as a little problem. Have you read what Dad has to do to complete his turn as Heir? Like, really read it?”

Mina blinked, “No, not really. We’re generation 3. Not really our problem what dad has to do yet, is it?”

Dahli scowled at her sister. “It really IS our problem. Dad has to finish his aspiration before Gen Three takes over. Do you know what that involves? It means one of us has to get married and between us we need to have four kids before anyone gets to be the next Heir. FOUR KIDS! If we do this the expected way, we could both be Adults before either of us gets to be the Heir.”

The other big renovation to the house is that the downstairs laundry room has been replaced with a space that Leo can use to create and play while still being a bit closer to the rest of the house, instead of up in his room.
