Season Of The Witch-A Riptide Invasions Season Concept

*Liu Kang Narrating*

“The Riptide that attacks us is like none other. A mad water witch and former umgadi, she was driven insane after her timeline’s Tanya caused the death of her version of Tomas and their newborn child. She killed her Tanya and the rest of the umgadi, and she was far from done. She now hunts down different versions of Tanya and Tomas for vengeance and to have the family she never had, wiping out timelines in her wake. She now has come to this timeline, to try and enact the same fate she has done to many before. May your combat save our timeline and many others, so that we all may not drown in her sorrow and rage”

Scorpion (boss 1) “this Kuai Liang unfortunately lost his Harumi and when his Riptide went rogue, he eagerly joined her, sharing in her grief. To prevent him from furthering Riptide’s power trip, he must be stopped”

Baraka (boss 2) “another disciple of his timeline’s Riptide, he went mad with jealousy after his Mileena rejected him for Tanya. He was delighted when Tanya was killed and became Riptide’s loyal dog. So like a mad dog, he must be put down”

Kenshi (boss 3): “this Kenshi loyally serves his Seraphina, as she saved him from being killed the Yakuza. His Suchin wasn’t so lucky and was killed. Now, the vengeful swordsman goes from timeline to timeline, ending those who dare get in his way. You must stop him at all costs”

Riptide (boss 4/final boss) “Like our timeline’s Riptide, this Riptide has great skill over water, but now a great rage to fuel it. No wonder why she has been such a dangerous foe for this timeline’s warriors. With so much anger, she is more determined than ever to have what she wants, by any means necessary”.

“Despite the threat she brought to this timeline, it was the understanding brought by this timeline’s Tomas and Seraphina that ultimately brought us victory. The other Riptide soon realized that what she had done was wrong and that her Smoke wouldn’t have wanted her to continue her path of vengeance. She surrendered, and instead of prisoning her in the void, I sent her to a timeline where she could truly achieve peace, where she is no longer a threat to herself and the other timelines”.

-So this version of Seraphina/Riptide comes from a timeline where Madinat was still destroyed but she was born an only child

-in this timeline, the Umgadi stumbled upon the ruins of Madinat instead of the Lin Kuei, saving Seraphina’s life

-already knew magic, continued to strengthen it by tutelage under whoever was high mage of Outworld

-Sindel is much like Mk11 Sindel. She has a much better relationship with her daughters though, who all help their mother run what is basically a dictatorship

-Mileena is still heir and still has her secret relationship with Tanya

-This Tanya is much more cruel and ruthless, willing to do anything to uphold the empire and for Mileena

-I should also mention, this Seraphina’s burn scar is much more extensive. It covers most of the left side of her face but she can still see with both eyes

-WARNING:MENTIONS OF SEVERE VIOLENCE-

-Raised to know only but servitude and the empire, this Seraphina was nothing but lonely.

-it wasn’t until she met the Shirai Ryu’s grandmaster, Smoke aka Tomas Vrbada, was when she finally found a companion.

-the two quickly fell into a passionate love affair, obviously kept secret, as Seraphina faced severe punishment if they were found out.

-Seraphina was nearly caught sneaking out to see Tomas one night, unintentionally stumbling upon Mileena and Tanya together. She was quickly sworn to secrecy and did so. She was the only person that knew of their relationship.

-eventually, Seraphina fell pregnant with Tomas’s child. Thankfully, Tomas managed to convince Tanya (who is Matron) that Seraphina was to train with him up in the mountains as “she could use the practice, she still has much to learn”.

-Everything seemed fine, Seraphina was seemingly safe in the mountains with the Shirai Ryu. She would go onto deliver a healthy baby girl nine months later.

-unbeknownst to her, Tanya grew suspicious. She secretly sent spies and soon learned that this “training” was just a cover. The matron quickly realized she could get Seraphina out of the way if she revealed her secret, to protect her and Mileena, also to ensure Mileena ascends to the throne.

-Seraphina was soon called back to the Umgadi. She had already decided once the time was right, she would escape and come back for Tomas and their daughter.

-It was only when she returned, that she realized it was a trap. The umgadi had kidnapped Tomas and their baby. Seraphina pleaded for mercy but she could only watch as the love of her life and her child were executed in front of her by Tanya. The rest of the Umgadi just watched.

-that was the moment Seraphina lost it.

-her mind finally broke under the constant years of stress and grief. She flooded the entire Cenobium, drowning the Umgadi, along with Tanya.

-It was that day that Seraphina died and Riptide was born. She went on a rampage, eventually gathering allies such as Scorpion, Baraka and Kenshi. Yet she wasn’t done with just her timeline.

-she was desperate to get Tomas back by any means necessary. Once she got rid of the keeper of time that resided over her timeline, she now has the means to travel from universe to universe.

-over and over she went, jumping from timeline to timeline. Anyone that got in her way would perish and any alternate Tanya would quickly be quashed. Different versions of Tomas weren’t so lucky either. If they wouldn’t go along, they’d be killed in an instant.

-The other Seraphina eventually shows up to the current timeline and immediately has it out for her alternate self especially, because she’s jealous about how close her MK1 self is to MK1 Tomas.

-chaos ensues.

-the final scene consists of the current Seraphina and Tomas trying to talk her down and she eventually realizes that what she’s doing is wrong. Her Tomas wouldn’t have want this for her.

-Liu Kang initially considered imprisoning her in the void but Mk1 Seraphina and Tanya pleaded for him not to. So, she was taken to a timeline where she could truly achieve peace.

-Titan! Raiden knew better than anyone about losing yourself to darkness. So when Liu Kang showed up with the other Seraphina suffering from just that, he didn’t hesitate to agree to take her in. She was extremely remorseful and pleaded for his help.

What du you think if bihan and oroku nagi were friends?

But would they have any reason to be friends at all?

Even if we omit the implication that ninjutsu was created and spread in Japan by rogue Lin Kuei member (and thus the real possibility that not only Shirai Ryu but all Japanese ninjas are seen as enemy by Lin Kuei), there is not that much for Nagi and Bi-Han to bond over, beside them both being older brothers?

Granted, we barely have an idea what kind of man Nagi was toward his fellow ninjas and family but he was introduced as jealous, entitled and prone to violence against a defenseless woman when she refused to reciprocate his feelings. And yes, all we know about his character comes from Splinter, the enemy, but there is hardly any source material that contradicts that impression and I seriously can’t see why Bi-Han - especially the previous incarnations of elder Sub-Zero - would want to hang out with a man who has so poor control over own emotion and rely on violence outside the “life and death” situation. Like, Bi-Han won’t hesitate to kill to fulfill his missions, but there are examples in Mythologies: Sub-Zero and old comics he would spare his enemy once they can’t anymore defend themselves. Nagi? Nagi brutally beat down a woman that originally - as far as I know - has never been a fighter herself and would kill her out of spite for Yoshi and this is the total opposite of collected Bi-Han.

Frankly, Oroku Saki and Kuai Liang have much better common ground as the younger siblings bend on avenging their beloved brothers while being raised by questionable morally assassin clans. Nagi and Bi-Han seem like opposite personalities and they act differently. Not saying they could never be friends and maybe MK1!Bi-Han (without the burden of Lin Kuei hate for Japanese ninjas) would be interested in an alliance between his Lin Kuei and Oroku Nagi’s Foot Clan if they existed in the same universe. But just because both are “ninjas”/assassins/older brothers, it does not automatically give a common ground to befriend each other.

In conclusion, I don't think Bi-Han would bother to be friends with someone like Oroku Nagi, at least not the Nagi introduced in the original comics series.

My mortal kombat obsession came back with a roaring vengeance ever since mk1 came out, and I’ve been thinking of a rwby/mortal kombat fusion

Here’s my ideas for the major factions at play:

Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei: At some point in his war with Salem, Ozma (as the Great Kung Lao) happened upon two feuding ninja clans, and decided to unite them together to fight against her. For hundreds of years, the two clans helped Ozma but some within the Lin Kuei grew dissatisfied with their role. Salem took advantage of this and convinced these rogue elements to hijack the Lin Kuei and join her. The coup is successful and the Shirai Ryu get massacred, the Lin Kuei retreating to the Grimmlands to attain power in Salem’s “new world” and spite Ozpin. As a result of the setting change, the Cyber Lin Kuei become the Grimm Lin Kuei, with its members being transformed into Grimm Hybrids instead of robots. However, one Shirai Ryu remains, and he now seeks revenge…

Black Dragon: An ancient crime syndicate that has business in all four kingdoms, and indulges in everything criminal from petty theft to arms dealing. They prove to be a significant thorn in the side of both the White Lotus Society and the White Fang. While they are not officially allied, Salem is more than happy to hire them and take advantage of the chaos they cause.

Special Forces: Upon realizing Salem is starting to gather an army, Ozpin and Ironwood decide to found the Special Forces, a secret army of their own formed from individuals in all four kingdoms. After the Fall of Beacon, Ironwood takes control of the army, though most of the leaders end up defecting after he decides to abandon Mantle to die, and they eventually take over the remnants of Atlas’ army following the Fall of Atlas.

White Lotus Society: A composite faction of Ozpin’s faction from RWBY and the White Lotus Society from MK. This faction is essentially everyone who works for Ozpin.

Outworld: An unofficial “sixth” kingdom in upper Vacuo composed of territories conquered by General Shao Kahn. Once the leader of a group of raiders and bandits in Vacuo, Kahn used a mysterious artifact from Humanity 1.0 to empower his minions and form his nation, with his former raiding party as his enforcers. Now, they seek to find a way to spread their rule worldwide and ensure Kahn’s rule lasts forever.

Brotherhood of Shadow: A cult dedicated to worshiping Shinnok, a warlock from Humanity 1.0 who survived the GoD’s wipeout by transferring his soul into his Amulet. Using his power, the cult gave themselves magical abilities and now seeks to take over the world themselves.

I’m planning on posting the stories of significant characters in the future, but if anyone has any questions, I’d be REALLY excited to answer them. I haven’t been this hyped over an au/fic concept in a LONG time.

▬▬ι═══════ﺤ 🔥 || The sounds of vehement disdain - must be Netherrealm demons' influence coursing through his entirety - become slithering violent tongues, as hellfire becomes a cacophonous persistence. How the glazed white of his eyes engulf Hanzo Hasashi's rational consciousness, as such vitriol hate and vengeance internally rips his body to tatter. Such visceral emotions metaphorically decompose him from what was once a stalwart yellow of Grandmaster Hasashi to an estranged abysmal void of Scorpion. The swarming conflagrations, like a chemical reaction, rearranges his brain, his guts, the blood in his veins.

Searing tendrils become serrated teeth burning flesh, not even allowing precious time for the criminal rogues from spewing tormented screams. They all become the complicated amalgamation of his emotions; the darkness, the hate, the pain, the fear, the shame... Hanzo believed he was more than his mistakes and he also believed he will rise, to claim what is rightfully his. While monstrous wildfire roars, the hate within him tears him apart. As if famished, cleaved bones and flesh pile, as ribbons of blood turn to torrential crimson waterfall as he marvels in the all-consuming lightning flashes of his katana, as once-sacred and entrusted Shirai Ryu Grounds taint with charred remnants of ash and dust.

Such impulsiveness may have been a benefactor to a promising future for a short while, but ever since Hanzo brought Earthrealm on the verge of extinction, what was once a sad and sentimental melody of his memories turn against him. The unhealable scars left on his soul, this rending rainy ruins of the most sacred part of him desecrated. All this darkness abandon, as the toxicity exacerbates the heavy heart within him, Hanzo Hasashi's hellfire represents a broken person, as the flames continue to devour the mercenary dogs with no restrictions and no restrain. Taking, engulfing, swallowing, biting, tearing, destroying, and merging.

A look of lightning flashes from somewhere in his darkened soul, then the pearly graze sheathing his eyes dissipate as his friend's vocalization plunges deep into his heart. Still, it seems as if he never sees what has already been done; Hanzo only sees what remains to be done. To cleanse this defiled ground saturated with criminal blood. He careens towards Kenshi, as he rides the fevered high, shoving a kneeling body off to his side after retrieving a thrusted kunai from the assailant's skull. "Welcoming destruction is to sever the infinite possibilities of wanting into a fragile burden of being - who I used to be in the past. While there is no guarantee this endeavor will yield anything but temporal cessation of their pillage, I must do what I must in order to contain them within the limitations." ▬▬ι═══════ﺤ 🔥 ||

Note: Okay so a little late posting this one here! I was really sick yesterday, and still am a bit today, so I ended up dumping it on AO3 and bolting. So here it is! Title is from “The Longing” by Storm Seeker! There is also a bit of bonus content for this one that’ll be up on my art blog @somerakaptilo

Hanzo elected to ignore the stares of passers by as he made his way through the streets of this small town. He couldn't blame them for staring. It wasn't every day that someone from the believed to be dead Paladin order of the Shirai Ryu walked past. Especially not in the town that held the headquarters of the Shirai Ryu's greatest enemy, the thieves guild known as the Lin Kuei.

He despised himself for being here, but he had no choice.

He finally reached the tavern the guild called home. He took a deep breath. Just because he wasn't there to fight, did not mean the Lin Kuei wouldn't attack him. He kept his kunai hidden in his sleeve as he pushed the doors open. The second he stepped in, all conversation and chatter came to a pause, leaving only an uneasy silence as the patrons glared him down. He ignored the twisting in his gut and continued to walk further inside.

"Well, well, well," a snide and familiar voice finally spoke. From the crowd emerged Bi-Han, trying his best to appear affable but the contempt in his eyes betrayed him. "Hanzo Hasashi. You have some nerve showing your face here."

"I am here to hire the Lin Kuei's services." This announcement was met with a loud resounding laugh from the entire room. "This is serious, the fate of the realms rests on this."

"I fail to see how that is our problem," another voice added, Bi-Han now joined by Sektor. Hanzo hissed, he had hoped the man who helped ocestrait his order's demise would not be present. But when did Hanzo ever get his way? If he did, his clan and family would still be here.

"Given that this threatens to end all life as we know it, I would assume it's everyone's problem." Hanzo pushed the thoughts of what happened behind him. Instead he reaching into a pouch pulling out the amulet and holding it up to Bi-Han.

Bi-Han's eyes widened as he stared at it, "is that Shinnok's amulet?"

"It is," Hanzo answered, snatching the amulet back as Bi-Han reached for it. "Lord Raiden has tasked me with taking it to a temple in the mountains where it will not be found by Shinnok's worshippers." He tried to gauge Bi-Han's interest, but the man was unnervingly good as hiding his emotions. He always had been. "The temple is fraught with traps however, and I need someone skilled at sneaking and lock-picking."

Bi-Han put his hand on his chin, mockingly acting like he was considering it. He then gave a dark smirk, "then you'd better hope you find someone."

"You know damn well this is the only thieves guild within this realm," Hanzo hissed, and Bi-Han laughed cruelly.

"You'd better get going then, hadn't you?" Hanzo's eyes flicked to Sektor, who was looking at him with an equally dark grin.

"But-"

"You really think, after everything, anyone here would want to help you, Hasashi?" Bi-Han chided. Hanzo bit back his anger, he knew the Lin Kuei were awful but he believed even they could put aside their prejudices for the greater good of the world. "Now, I suggest you run out of here with your tail between your legs, before we decide to put an end to your order once and for all."

Hanzo considered staying and arguing his case more, but he was also aware he was horrifically outnumbered. Instead he huffed, "you had better prey to the elder god this choice doesn't come to bite your clan in the ass." Before turning to leave, ignoring the jeers to the surrounding Lin Kuei.

Once outside he pulled on his hair and gave a frustrated whine. He guessed he would have to find someone else with the skills he needed. He started off down the street, hoping to find an inn where he could spend the night and reassess his plans.

"That was pretty rough, huh?" A voice suddenly called to him from behind. He turned around to look at the person who'd said it. A half elf, if the pointed ears were anything to go by, as well as possessing the Lin Kuei's emblem on his belt. Hanzo glared as the half elf approached him. "Then again, I suppose as much is to be expected when a Shirai Ryu walks into Lin Kuei territory."

"If you are here to mock me further, then I suggest you back off before I cut you down," Hanzo snarled. The Lin Kuei laughed lightly.

"I'm not here to mock you, I am here to offer you my services," he replied, as he reached Hanzo he placed a hand on his arm. "My name is Kuai Liang. You are looking for someone with skills in sneaking and lock-picking correct?"

"Forgive me if I am not quick to jump on that offer, given what just happened," Hanzo spat. He wasn't sure why he was suddenly being so defensive, but he didn't trust Kuai Liang's intentions at all.

Kuai pouted, "how you wound me sir." His hand trailed along Hanzo's shoulders, before resting on his shoulder blades. "I am just a humble rogue, seeking to help someone in need."

"Not if you are Lin Kuei you're not," Hanzo huffed, jerking himself away from Kuai. "Your clan has already dismissed me, I suggest you do the same." He began to walk away. "I will do this quest alone."

Hanzo was a fair way away when he heard Kuai Liang shout, "you might have better luck if you actually had the amulet."

Hanzo spun on his heels to glare at the other man, but his anger dissipated into shock when he saw the amulet dangling from Kuai's fingers. He patted at the pocket he'd left the amulet, somehow not believing his eyes. Inevitably the amulet wasn't there. How did he steal it from me without me even noticing? His eyes narrowed at the thief.

"Give it back," he snarled, taking a few paces towards Kuai Liang.

"Only if you hire my services," Kuai replied, walking backwards to maintain the distance between them. "Otherwise, hm, I think I could get a pretty penny for this on the black market."

"Don't even think about it," Hanzo warned.

"Hm, that doesn't sound like you're agreeing to hire me," Kuai whined while pursing his lips, twirling the amulet between his fingers.

Hanzo gave a frustrated scream and ran forward fist clenched. He decked the other man as hard as he could, but was surprised when instead of soft flesh he hit something more brittle. There was a loud crack, and Hanzo jumped back. Instead of Kuai Liang, there was instead a replica of him made of ice. He stared at it as he watched it break, leaving only some chunks of ice on the floor.

Ice. Bi-Han used ice magic, very much in a similar way. Could they be related? He was fairly sure that Bi-Han was fully human, but that didn't mean they couldn't share the same bloodline.

He heard a whistle to his right, and his head snapped over. There was Kuai Liang standing with his hands on his hips and a grin on his face. He lazily waved before taking off running. Hanzo wasted no time sprinting after him. I need to get the amulet back.

Kuai was alarmingly fast. Hanzo let his kunai drop from his sleeve to his hand, throwing it as hard as he could while screaming "get over here!"

Kuai ducked out of the way of the kunai just in time before hopping over a small stone wall. When Hanzo finally caught up, he found that beyond the wall was a cliff. Kuai was standing at the edge, dangling the amulet over and above the sea, waves crashing at the base of the cliff down below. Hanzo crawled over the wall, holding a hand out as if to pacify the other man.

"Don't," Hanzo all but begged. I can't loose it! I can't fail this quest. It is my one chance at redemption!

Kuai held his head high, "you have two choices Hasashi, either hire me and let me help you, or the amulet will join the fishes. Which will it be?"

"Why are you so insistent on me hiring you?" Hanzo asked, this made no sense to him. Kuai's eyes twitched slightly, and he let the chain of the amulet slip from his hand slightly. "Wait!" Hanzo held his hand out again and the amulet stilled. "What exactly do you want in exchange for your services?"

Kuai considered the question, "50000 gold."

"What? Thats absolutely ridicu- No!" Hanzo's rant was cut short when Kuai let the amulet slip a little further. There was a chance Kuai was bluffing but Hanzo was starting to realise he couldn't take the risk. "50000 gold? Is that all?"

Kuai's face dropped a little, he glanced around, as if checking that no one else was listening. "50000 gold and you help me get the hell out of here."

"Get the hell out of here?" Hanzo asked, preying that the question wasn't taken as a reason to drop the amulet. It thankfully stayed within Kuai's firm grasp. "What do you mean by that?"

"I mean, I don't want to be with the Lin Kuei any more," Kuai said in a hushed tone, clearly paranoid of people overhearing. "I help you with your quest, you give me the money and then you help me fake my death so I never have to return here."

"Fake your death? That's a little extreme, isn't it?" Hanzo's eyes were darting between the amulet and Kuai's face. There was a strange anguish in Kuai's features that wasn't there before.

"No one leaves the Lin Kuei, those that try are either executed or tortured back into compliance." Kuai's knuckles were turning white from how tightly he was holding the amulet. "My brother is too high ranking for them to just kill me." His brother? Bi-Han was a high ranking member, maybe they really were related. That would make hiring the man even more risky than it already was, as if Bi-Han needed any more reasons to want to take Hanzo's head. "If I'm caught trying to escape they will torture me, I can't go through that again!"

"Again?" Hanzo wondered aloud. Kuai looked away from him. "You've tried to leave before?"

"Yes." Kuai kept his gaze off Hanzo, just stared down the drop of the cliff. "What they do to deserters... I would not wish on my worst enemy." He blinked a few times, hand now shaking as he looked back towards Hanzo with a pleading look. "Please. I help you and you help me, you get to complete your quest and I get to start a new life. We both get what he want."

Hanzo wondered if this was part of why Kuai was asking for such an absurd amount of money. 50000 gold would be enough to live securely for a long while. He admittedly had more than enough to pay the man, all be it in a bank somewhere in another city. And he hated to admit it but Kuai's plight was a sympathetic one. His own past made him a sucker for a sob story, hard to refuse a plea for help from someone who needed it. From how desperate Kuai's actions were and how scared he seemed, it was undeniable that he needed the help he was requesting.

He sighed, rubbing his face with the palm of his hand, "okay. Help me take the amulet to the temple and you have my word that I'll help you escape."

Kuai Liang retracted his hand, holding the amulet to his chest as he walked towards Hanzo. Hanzo went to grab the amulet but Kuai jerked it away from him.

"Shake on it, first," he demanded, holding his hand out.

Hanzo sighed, reaching to meet it. They shook, and finally Kuai offered the amulet back to Hanzo. He took it eagerly and replaced it back in it's proper place.

"We should probably get out of here as soon as possible," Kuai added, the tone of his voice finally lightening up. "Even if I'm not technically deserting yet, I doubt anyone's going to be too happy about me offering to assist you on this job."

"Somehow I doubt it too," Hanzo tutted. "Where's the nearest inn that isn't in town?"

"About four miles north west," Kuai said, pointing roughly in that direction.

"Right, that's our first destination then. Once we're there we'll come up with a concrete plan for the temple." Kuai nodded in agreement. Hanzo gestured with his hand, "lead the way."

"It would be my pleasure, handsome." Hanzo just about suppressed a surprised splutter as Kuai began walking off and giggling to himself.

Hanzo followed him despite the creeping feeling of regret coming over him. This is going to be a long quest.

Bi-han was currently going to the lab sektor was working in sektor had called him for an urgent matter that needed to be discussed, bi-han was in a frustrated mood as usual, he wanted to try and track down his brothers kuai liang and Tomas vrbada.

Even after his last fight with his brother he still hasn't forgotten about him and wants to make amends with his brother.

"Ashrah you can't tell me what to do!" A girl with short black hair and white highlight and black eyes with diamond diamond marks on them she also had fair skin and wore a black tank top with black pants and black boots.

"Sareena i am doing what's best for you!" Ashrah said the two sisters had gotten into a fight ashrah wanted sareena to stay with the monks but sareena wanted to leave the temple and go on her own journey she didn't want to follow her sisters footsteps.

"Ashrah i am begging you" Sareena said to ashrah "as I said you will not leave and you will stay! Otherwise I would have to use force!" Sareena looked at ashrah she stepped forward towards ashrah and quickly threw a shadow ball at ashrah causing her to deflect it with her kriss sareena then let out her devil wings and flew away ignoring ashrah's calls she didn't know where she was going only where her heart lead her too.

Bi-han was currently following sektor to his laboratory sektor stopped walking "sektor I don't have all day what do you-" Bi-han stopped as he felt a sharp wound on his back he looked behind to see it was cyrax but he was a yellow cyber robot "cyrax! You dare betray me!?' Bi-han shouted " Cyrax doesn't follow your commands..." Sektor said to bi-han his eyes widen looking at both cyrax and sektor "you both dare betray the lin kuei!" Bi-han shouted "actually you did, you see I had no intention of following your footsteps I just wanted the throne..." Sektor said bi-han's eyes widen "how could you sektor..." Bi-han fell into the ground the wound started to turn purple as he coughed up blood "good bye bi-han." Sektor said leaving bi-han and cyrax followed him.

Bi-han layed there on the snow not knowing what to do his eyes started to close the last thing he saw was a figure flying down in front of him "hey stay awake" The figure yelled.

The sound of chirping birds and the light of the sun on his face caused bi-han to wake up his eyes wandering around the room he was lying on a bed his wound bandaged and he was shirtless "what happened-" "I see your awake" Bi-han saw a girl stand in near the door way with a bowl of soup "who are you?" Bi-han asked "sareena I am the one who rescued you in the mountains" Sareena said to bi-han.

His mind drifted to the betrayal of cyrax and sektor "cyrax, sektor they...." Bi-han was at a loss of words trying to comprehend what was happening sareena sat on the chair beside his bed "what's your name-" "It's none of your business" Bi-han said to sareena she raised her eye brow "well eat up" Sareena said giving him the bowl of soup bi-han snatched the bowl and drank it in a gulp.

"Not a kind one are you" Sareena said bi-han narrowed his eyes at her "where am i?" Bi-han asked sareena "Japan" Sareena said to bi-han his eyes widened and looked at sareena "my sister was looking for me plus a strange army was looking for you so fleeing to Japan was the only option" Sareena said to bi-han his hand was on his forehead sareena put her hand on his shoulder "are you alright?" Sareena asked bi-han "do you know where the shirai ryu is?" Bi-han asked sareena.

"I am sorry what?" Sareena asked "I need to find the shirai ryu" Bi-han said getting up but his wound was too painful "hold up ice man that wound is poisonous any wrong move and it can get you killed" Sareena said to bi-han "so what I am supposed to take a fragile girl like you with me..." Bi-han said to sareena "I am not a fragile girl" Sareena said to bi-han "right cause-" Bi-han got pushed onto a chair sareena put her leg on his shoulder pressing him down with her hell sickle pointed at him.

"Listen here and listen good right now I am your only option and it looks to me that almost all the realms are hunting you down so it's either you accept my help Or suffer the consequences" Sareena said bi-han was stunned he stared at sareena his heart skipped a beat seeing the dominant woman "fine" Bi-han said sareena put her leg down and her hell sickle disappeared in the shadows "good now let's get going ice boy-" "Bi-han..." Bi-han said sareena looked at bi-han "my name is bi-han..." Bi-han said getting up "alright bi-han" Sareena said to bi-han.

"Let's go we have no time to waste" Bi-han said to sareena he was now determined to get to his brothers and try to apologies to them for what he did he looked at sareena who stood there with a smile 'maybe she's not a fragile woman after all' bi-han thought to himself 'atleast I got ice man to open up a bit' sareena thought.

Type: angst and fluff

Description: hatsune has been acting weird and tomas being the kind boyfriend he is goes to see what is wrong with her.

Hatsune had been acting weird for the past few days she would skip breakfast and go outside saying she had an important mission but tomas knew her better than the others.

Tomas was concerned about his beautiful girlfriend and why she isn't eating anything and coming home late at night she saw sometimes she came back with a sad and hopeless look on her face and that concerned him.

"Alright guys I have to go something came up" Hatsune said to them before leaving the house with her staff in her hand ignoring the questioning and concerned looks on everyone's face.

Tomas was sitting by the dinning table "guys I also have to leave I need to do something" Tomas said to them "alright just be careful Tomas" Kuai said to Tomas.

Tomas disguised himself into pure smoke as he flowed through the wind it was the easiest way to follow hatsune without getting caught by hatsune.

Hatsune was currently at the town market with her staff in her hand she went to an abandoned building in the market place her eyes were filled with anger as she looked around "I am here, you said you wanted to see me!" Hatsune shouted "hatsune ryu" Hatsune heard a whisper in her ear she looked around to see shadows beneath her feet she stepped away as the shadows took form of a man the man was pretty tall wearing black armour that was attached to his body his beautiful platinum blonde hair flowing down and his red eyes the same as hers but with more chaos "what do you want Asmodeus?" Hatsune asked him with a glare "is that a way to greet your big brother?" Asmodeus asked hatsune with a smirk on his way "it is a way to greet an asshole" Hatsune said to asmodeus.

Tomas watched in his smoke form in shock of what he was seeing 'hatsune has a brother!?' Tomas thought to himself but the relationship between them was exactly like kuai and bi-han after he betrayed them but he felt like there was something else.

"Still serving that king of the Netherrealm?" Asmodeus asked with an unamused expression "yes and he's a much better ruler" Hatsune said to asmodeus "seriously hatsune, that tyrant is no better come back to the underworld father is waiting for us" Asmodeus said with a smirk "I told you I won't go back there not after the shit he put me through!" Hatsune shouted at asmodeus "come on little sister let us be a family-" "I said no!" Hatsune said to asmodeus.

Asmodeus glared at hatsune he put his hand out pulling hatsune to him his hand on her neck squeezing it hard "you dare defy your brother, let me tell you who's incharge here hatsune, the only reason you are breathing is because I am letting you live" Asmodeus said to hatsune "still the arrogant tyrant as I remember" Hatsune said his grip tightened around her his nails dug into her skin causing blood to pour out of her neck "you don't have any power over me little girl after all I am the heir of the Underwood unlike you" Asmodeus said before throwing her to ground "now I shall leave I expect to see you again here next week" Asmodeus said to hatsune before leaving.

Tomas watched the scene his eyes widen in shock 'bi-han might have betrayed us but he was never this cruel like his Tomas thought and realised why hatsune had been skipping breakfast and going here just to see him and deal with her asshole brother 'my hatsune' Tomas thought he then went inside the house.

Hatsune was breathing hard and started to have tears in her eyes but she wiped them away suddenly she saw smoke coming inside wrapping itself around her the smoke turned into tomas who was hugging her close "Tomas" Hatsune said "shh let me heal your wound" Tomas said he put his hand on her bruise on neck caressing it gently "your brother he-" "It's alright I am used to it since childhood" Hatsune said to Tomas crying slightly Tomas kissed her forehead "you shouldn't be used to that hatsune, do you remember when I proposed to you that I will take care of you so please hatsune let me help you" Tomas said kissing her forehead hatsune hugged him back crying "it's okay, I am here hatsune, I love you" Tomas said to her "I love you too" Hatsune said tomas picked her up and took her out of the house wondering what exactly happened to her in her past but for now comforting and loving his girlfriend was his main priority the rest could wait.

Asmodeus watched from afar his eyes looking at Tomas and hatsune 'interesting looks like little sister got herself a boyfriend' asmodeus thought to himself suddenly a man with devil horns and tail dressed in a suit came "sir your father is calling for you-" "Tell father I won't be returning any time soon, I have to watch over my dear little sister more" Asmodeus said to the servant before looking back at hatsune with a smirk.

it was a pretty cold night in the woods the forest was dark and there was only a little light Tomas wondered why he ever accepted this mission and had chosen to go alone but there was the answer on his mind telling him the reason he chbose 'because kuai doesnt trust anyone' tmas thought his grey irisis wondering around and looking at the forest.

he kept traveling in his smoke form where he is pure smoke, he stopped smoke traveling and landed on top of a tree his eyes landing on a temple. The temple looked old and ancient with ruin symbols all over the wall Tomas couldn't recognize the symbols from afar, but his gaze was still at the entrance of the temple keeping watch if anyone goes inside it or not but as he watched his vision started to blur and before he looked back, he had been knocked out.

Hatsune travel in the outside world was going pretty well scratch that it was going like hell she didn't get the surface peoples customs as of why they were sitting on the street and stealing food and money from each other. to her this was just like the NetherRealm and worse of all they didn't know anything about the imbalance in time as if the people didn't know what actually happened but there was one thing certain the old queen of outworld had died and the cause was still mysterious, but the most shocking fact was that the emperor had come back to life in a new body of something known as ermac. she had yet to investigate more on this matter and find out the truth of what had caused this for the sake of the NetherRealm.

her red eyes observed around the town in her disguise she created a small flame in her hands and started writing in an ancient language.

Hatsune walked from the marketplace after gathering the intel she needed to use for her research as she walked in the town people, she noticed people giving her weird glances every now and then as she showed no emotion as she walked and paying close attention to her surroundings observing everyone and looking at the things that are happening.

she walked around with a smirk and bumped into a person "watch where you are going!" Hatsune said but she paused as she felt a weird aura around the person.

The stranger wore black and grey robes and a skull mask as they walked their uniform was different as well the person had an aura around them aura Hatsune knew too well the dark, intimidating, fearful and smelled like the dead it was the magic from the NetherRealm.

With her curiosity getting the better of her Hatsune decided to follow the person in the shadows watching where they were headed her appearance being kept in the shadows if there was one thing she is learned as a warrior is too be stealth and invisible in the eyes of the enemy and never ever let them see you.

the forest in the enemy territory was dark Hatsune saw the temple that had lied in the middle of the forest her eyes widen seeing the runes written "these people are from NetherRealm and chaos realm..." Hatsune mumbled her hand tracing on the obsidian brick touching the runes on the walls she started to hear people mumbling inside.

hatsune climbed upon the walls and entered through the balcony seeing what was happening, people wearing the same armour as the NetherRealm person her eyes widen seeing each one of their auras the senses of both chaos and death getting into her head 'this is too much' she thought to herself but heard their conversation.

"We have gathered here today to meet for an important task that will change our fate" a person who wore a skull crown said to the people who were silent, but they were attentive to the words "that must be the leader" Hatsune thought to herself as she listened.

"Sir are you sure about this" one of the members said, "I am sure my disciple using this we will revive our former master and put an end to the bastard god of the NetherRealm Hanzo Hisashi" one of the leaders said, 'they want to do what!?' Hatsune thought Hanzo was a gentle soul and worthy ruler of the NetherRealm he has won the NetherRealm people's hearts but why would they even think to try and overthrow him? That was the main question that lingered in her mind.

"Don't you see Hanzo Hisashi has always been gifted but he was never meant to be our king the NetherRealm has grown weak in his rule, it is our job to put a stop to it" the leader said, "and how would we do that?" one of the disciples asked the leader smirked under his mask "by reviving Shinnok" the leader said.

Hatsune was shocked to hear that it would be impossible to revive Shinnok as you once kill a god they would never be revived back "sir haven't you heard the myth ones a god is killed-" "they can never be revived back, but what if I tell you that I have found a way to revive him myself..." the leader said to them "I have found the map to the fountain of wishes where we can only wish for one thing wealth , fame and even reviving a person even a god" the leader said to them.

'The fountain of wishes' Hatsune thought this was a very dangerous game they were playing and Hatsune wasn't enjoying this one "but how are we going to get their sir the Enenra have been lost for centuries they cannot answer unless..." another one of the members said and looked towards something "i have already prepared for the sacrifice a person with the same powers as the Enenra" the leader said to them with a smirk suddenly two members bought a person carrying them by their arms and throwing them on the ground.

Tomas woke up his head pounding as he was thrown on the ground and his eyes widen seeing all the people in the room "who are you!?" smoke asked them he could have attacked them at the chance, but he was feeling weak after he had woken up "welcome enenra..." the leader said with a smirk " what do you want!?" Tomas asked anger in hie eyes as he hid his fear in his heart "you are going to be a great use for us" the leader said with a smirk "he wont be used as a sacrifice" a voice came out of nowhere red aura started to surround the room 'why does it smell like death' Tomas thought to himself.

everyones eyes went to the person who jumoed from the balcony landing on the ground it was hatsune "who are you!?" the leader asked "not a patient one are you..." hatsune said with a small smirk "whart are you going to do its just you alone you tiny little girl" one of the members said as the others laughed thinking she would do no harm until the air suffocated around them causing the to be unable to breath properly.

Hatsune looked at them her dark brown hair flowed in the wind her red eyed glowed as her smirk turned into a grin the red aura surrounded her hand lifting towards the enemy her staff glowing in the dark "that's not a way to speak to your superior you tiny little incubus's" Hatsune said "who are you!?" the leader demanded.

Tomas was also curious to know who the strange woman was she seemed like someone who will not hesitate to kill to everyone she seemed like a normal girl but to him she was the embodiment of chaos born from the darkness of the night sky and raised among the dead.

hatsune looked at the scared and anger look on their faces of witnessing her power at first "just tell us who you are!!" the leader shouted hatsune looked at the leader her eyes sending shivers down his spine she spoke in a threatening voice as she started at them saying the three words.

"i am death"

hats took her staff as the people broke free from her grasp and launched themselves towards her, she immidiately stabbed the two-member running towards her in a single blow as their blood splattered on the ground while the other members who ran towards her stopped as fire raised from the ground the crimson red fire engulfed the remaining members leaving their bones to dust.

Hatsune looked around as the leader was nowhere in sight, she went to Tomas who was looking at her a bit scared Hatsune bent down her neutral expression on her face "it's alright i won't hurt you." Hatsune said a warm yellow light started to come out of her hands as she started to heal Tomas "thank you" Tomas said nervously Hatsune looked at Tomas "would you mind explaining what happened" Hatsune said to Tomas "i was actually on a mission-" suddenly they heard a cry coming from the basement "what was that" tomas said hatsune stood up and went with tomas standing up and going behind her.

"I haven't gotten your name" Tomas said as he walked behind Hatsune she looked at Tomas she had saved this man's life and he deserved to know his saviors name she sighed " its Hatsune" Hatsune said Tomas "I am Tomas it's really nice to meet you!" Tomas said to Hatsune "sorry but I have no time to make friends" Hatsune said to Tomas as she went forward Tomas went behind her "I was actually hoping we can be allies instead after all we are the only ones who know about the cult" Tomas said Hatsune thought for a moment she was not keen on making allies, but the trouble was big especially the fact the cult was reviving Shinnok which was not good at all s for now maybe she would need one she looked at Tomas "fine" Hatsune said to Tomas who smiled at her happily.

they both went deep into the dungeons "so i was thinking maybe we can discuss this in secret I can share my knowledge and you can share yours so what do you-" "Tomas" Hatsune said she came into a stop and Tomas stopped behind her as well "what's the matter-" "look Infront of you" Hatsune said and Tomas looked Infront to see a cage and inside the cage was something horryfing.

a young boy was shackled in chains around his hands and legs keeping them apart his mouth covered with a iron mask keeping him from shouting and hie eyes having tears his skin was pale hiseyes closed as he was covered in sweat and bruises.

"Those monsters...." Tomas said Hatsune was in shock to speak the person chained up looked like a kid at least a teenager "we should free him-" "tomas stop" hatsune sad stopping tomas who was confused when suddenly they saw his eyes opened as his normal black eyes turned into golden eyes with black hilts this caused hatsune and tomas to have one thing in their mind

'That kid is a shapeshifter.'
