Me normally: What even is so hot about guys playing guitar? I don't understand the appeal at all
Me when Javier starts playing and singing at camp: I will literally ride him until he breaks

I rewatched the "There's always a Twist at the end" number, and was reminded of the end of Buffy - once more with feeling when the magic is starting to wear off.
In this case, the "magic" of music is kicking back in, but we have an entire song triggered around the Doctors comment and 4th wall break.
As a musical lover, the song itself is meh, but that's because it's not trying to make us feel anything or tell us anything about the characters or impart anything much with the lyrics; it's trying to tell us there's a twist at the end.
I'm not going to say this is a Trapped in the Narrative story arc (though god knows I love them) but it felt ominous as a song, and a desperate attempt to communicate with the audience, which if it was "done" by the Doctor and his ear for non-diegetic music, could be a really interesting way to include the Pantheon and the "rules" of reality changing.

Kudos to DW for making the maestro, the most sluttiest, gayest, drag queen redhead. Theyre giving representations so slutty redheads like me :P
