Emma and Ciel play chess together! Both enjoy it and find not only good company, but also a great challenge with one another in the board game! However, as they continue to play, Killia sneaks on them (with his assassin skills) and tops over Ciel’s king piece like the cat troll he is! (For those that don’t know knocking over your own king piece means that you quit the game). Ciel is shellshocked, as needs to process this action for the next 10 seconds before he proceeds yells at him. Don’t worry, Emma and Tohru will also later scold Killua for this, so it’s all good!

I looked it up and apparently the Grace Field house has “access to some old fashioned non-electronic toys to play with such as balls, dolls, stuffed animals, blocks, puzzles, wooden vehicles, playing cards, classic board games such as chess,” so I’d like to imagine that Emma herself had a good hand with the game and is a decent player herself, given how smart she is. I’m sure these kids will find enjoyment in one another, and I just wanted to draw them playing together while also finding a way to draw all 3 of our trio together! Anyway this took a while since I had to redo Ciel and Emma’s positions for sitting, as well as their face since I didn’t want their smiles to come off too creepy, but at cat faced Killua was fun to draw! Listen I know the hands are badly drawn, so I’ll make sure to keep improving so they look better!

remembered about my old hyperfixation because i listened to tpn anime osts. man i love Emma best girl ever existed.

I’ve been wanting to make little dioramas with my peg dolls for a while now and I finally gathered the materials to do so. What better way to start than with these three?

The 40 lives with the Neanderthal tribe (The 40 x Ice Age)

So...it's finally here!

The 40 have met the Neanderthal tribe and live amongst them for a whole week.

Thanks to the "all speak" gift bestowed upon them by the Entity, they can understand what language the Neanderthals communicate in.

In that short time, they taught the tribe many things and befriended the leader and his family. The 40 show them how to toil the land, grow edible plants and grains, and fish in the streams. The female members of The 40 would teach the concept and importance of matrilineality (which Nadia greatly appreciated despite already being treated well in the tribe due to being the "wife" of their leader) and that any female they sire or take in their tribe would be treated and taught to also carry out the duties of the male hunters. Most importantly, they would teach the tribe how to greatly respect the animals they hunt and kill for food by making it mandatory that all the remains of the animals that are unedible will be given a burial of sorts.

In the miscellaneous times, Levi would often converse with Runar, Senku working on pottery to make cups and containers for food and water, the woman and girls (aside from Emma) politely rejecting the "proposals" of the male hunters, Killua conversing with Nadia as they work on weaving baskets and making rope, and Emma playing with the infant Roshan by making a flower crown.

However, the vengeful Soto and his pack of Sabertooth tigers are undaunted by these "strange humans and the walking wolf". The plan to attack the tribe will continue, but they have to re-evaluate their initial plan due to seeing the obvious danger of just rushing in at night.

Just Emma being sad and Killua and Ciel being… beyond words on the suffering she goes through as they try to comfort her… well at least Killua is comforting her, Ciel still needs to process his shock and is a little unsure how to comfort her in his own way.

Sorry for the wait guys! I just wanted to draw something and decided to post a lazy pencil sketch so I hope this is still enjoyable! I don’t think I quite made Killua as sad as I wanted to but I did like how empty his eyes look! I’m most proud of Ciel though, he’s always so fun to draw, especially his hair! Side note, whenever I draw Emma’s hair it reminds me of a sunflower!

Does anyone even still think about The Promised Neverland. because I DO and I started watching it again and it is more traumatizing than I remember
