If you haven't seen The Meg and you're thinking "why would I watch this dumbass shark movie it's stupid as fuck" youre right.
Jason Statham sings "just keep swimming" as he tries to escape a megalodon. This movie does not take itself seriously at all and that's what makes it so fun.
So yes, I WILL be watching the sequel. Bc it's gonna be even dumber and I am here for it.

i watched the meg 2 and it was fun ngl. they had 1 kraken, 3 megs, 15 dinosaurs and a dream. melissanthi mahut got a kassandra reference im pretty sure, jason statham is coparenting a 14 year old with his competitive rival man friend. and this one guy had a murder backpack. jason statham also killed sharks with his bare hands and dived in 25000 meter depth without equipment. I giggled a lot and my jaw was on the floor. If you want silly fun I recommend.

well. it started with dinosaurs eating each other. getting bigger each time. and then cut to jason statham doing pull ups in a nearly pitch black room with Under Pressure as the bg music who then preceded to spend the rest of the movie coparenting a fourteen year old girl with another man who is convinced he speaks Big Shark while jason battles giant sea creatures with his bare hands and Frowns. so take from that what you will
