Yeah this tiger has this going no the actual tiger I'll tell you what everything you would come near as you going we got in a fight with the tiger not with each other and pointed that suck it sucks you do not want to get in a fight with a tiger when I'm full size this guy says when he's 10 ft he can take a tiger with no armor I got to see that he said maybe with jeans on. Yeah maybe something around his groin but okay and the tiger would have to be that size a full size a full size tiger wouldn't have no chance and I've never seen anything like that in my life we've seen a lot of people wrestle tigers even Dave when he's big and he says that tiger could have taken me anytime you want it and you heard what you said a little any wrestled with you and said I don't want to wrestle that guy is like a machine and you're downstairs wrestling is saying you got to cut the s*** Dave like you're an old adult he's almost laughing you see a stupid look on his face can you say you're coming back for the wrong thing give it a break what the hell is wrong with you and he tried grabbing you and you're tossing him like clear across the room and he's smacking into stuff finally you hope it out and you take it off and say stupid things and he goes inside cries a little just trying to see if he broke anything any bones it looks up and he says he'll be okay and here is as long as you're there to wrestle and he almost got mad to go what the hell. So it wasn't that funny because it was like 10 minutes long went on for a while and we kept on throwing him down and put him in a lock and tell him I cut the s*** and he would not stop as far as lady. You heard what she said later you said you did that I didn't really help you cuz he beat you I heard it in that voice so that didn't help him at all. So she turned it when you said it helped you 100% and I see what you're saying they can't exactly injure him for real and she said I knew that too he's trying to stop you from doing that but then again I was doing something rude I got your attention so they messed around and he says this what we should be doing and they laughed and they stayed together for quite a while and it's much better so he came up with the products Viagra and messed up a lot of people. Yeah okay interviews that's one for a scary monster movie. I'll tell you what though this song is important and it's about cadmium and it's about Mac and his Grand nephew and they found out a yellow brick road for real they found a road that was made with gold under about 30 miles long and they took it out of course but the max are using it kind of stuff heavy duty and the clans had this network and they were using it too picking back in all the time this is a nightmare okay

Characters/relationships: Patton, Virgil, Roman, Remus, Remy, Logan, Dr. Picani (familial Moxiety, Romantic Prinxiety, background Patton x Remy for which I can’t find the name for, Intrulogical)

Roman Patch dreamed of the day he’d meet his soulmate. The man had the most beautiful deep voice, and it was worthy of praises. Virgil Picani was not so sure. His older brother Patton and Dad insisted that he’d be grateful when found his soulmate. They had already found their own, so Vee was skeptical and believed they had a bias (Heh. Logan would be proud of him. Not that he had a say either, having found Remus a number of years earlier. Their relationship had grown with them and it was cute). 

Not that the world cared throwing Roman in his path the moment he walked into school. It was his first day in high school. The entirety of freshman year he nursed a crush. On his first day sophomore year, he met Roman’s eyes. For the first time he could see color, and his crush only got worse. That day he was so glad and his father took him out to his favorite restaurant. Nothing came of it, and he watched from afar as Roman dated, acted, and gained more and more popularity. The few times they interacted, Virgil snapped at the handsome man. The two became enemies and avoided each other. 

And so began their Junior year. 

Roman strutted down the hall. He was basically a school celebrity and everyone knew it. Other than the kids his brother hung out with, including that Virgil who he hated, everyone greeted him enthusiastically. He smiled as he saw his football player brother, talking with his soulmate and Virgil. 

“-Pat’s working hard on his vet degree. He’s already excelling in his classes. He finally found ones that teach in his style, and it’s great. Rem’s been real supportive too-” Virgil was leaning against the locker next to Logan, a small smile on his face. 

“Hey Stinker and Co!” Roman called, interrupting the rest of the quiet conversation. 

“C’mon Ro! I just saw you. Can’t I kiss my boyfriend in peace?” Remus whined, snapping his gum and looping an arm around the smaller kid. Said boyfriend adjusted his glasses, glancing towards the other kid, who had shrank into a more defensive pose at the noise. 

“....I’m going to class. See ya later Lo, Re” Virgil mumbled after a few seconds of brotherly glaring, pushing off the locker. He flipped his hood up and ducked into the stream of kids heading that way. He vanished quickly, having learned his routes by heart over the summer. 

“Why did you have to do that! He was just telling us about Patton! Y’know the guy you crushed on for 3 years?!” Remus nearly shouted, his eyes narrowed. 

“Whatever. I should follow Jack Smellington’s example and go to class” Roman walked away, a storm cloud hanging over his head. He was just having some fun! Now he was in a bad mood and the day had just begun. He threw his bag down in his study hall. Before the period was halfway over, he had gotten a group listening to his summer adventures and what he was planning for the school year. He left with a bounce in his step again, his soulmate had also been humming! His excitement was quickly shut down when he walked into his history class.

“I’m stuck next to him?” His mouth fell open in surprise as he saw the seating arrangement. At a desk near the back his name was paired with his arch-nemesis's, well more like annoyance but that didn’t sound as cool, Virgil Picani. The boy was already there, scribbling on the warm-up, and his purple bangs were falling in his eyes in the most adorable way. Roman shook his head to clear it of the rebellious thoughts. Instead, he focused on the quiet humming in his head from his soulmate. 

“Guess we’re stuck with each other emo nightmare-” the humming abruptly stopped, but it must have been from the bell ringing “-So I better not get your sass the whole time” 

“Don’t you worry your royal ass, I won’t say much” Virgil hissed, turning his seat slightly away. That period stretched on and on as the pair did their best to act like the other wasn’t there. Roman was grateful to escape to 3rd block, and lunch afterwards. He was disappointed when the humming didn’t return, but it couldn’t get him down. The school was serving the good mac and cheese, and he raced to get in line. As he was looking for a place to sit down, he heard part of a conversation.

“-How am I supposed to get through this? He acts like I’m the worst...the world” Roman moved closer, choosing to sit with some of the other theater kids at a table near the voice. It was Virgil of course, but he wouldn’t admit that he was actually interested. 

“Are you sure it’s him?” Logan was asking, his voice curious.

“Yea Lo, The world exploded in color the moment I met his eyes” Roman’s heart sank at that. He didn’t even like the guy! “-a year ago. I just wish I hadn’t panicked and drove him away”

“If he’s truly the one, things will work out. It’s statistically improbable that it won’t” 

“Yea! Logie is right” Remus chimed in, and his mouth must have been full of food the idiot. 

“Thanks you guys. I need to get going. My art class is kinda far, and I don’t want to get stuck in the crowd” There was a chorus of goodbyes. 

If he hated Virgil, why did it feel like Roman’s heart left with him every time they weren’t in the same room?

The next few months went by in a blur. Virgil and Roman avoided each other as much as possible. They shared half of their classes though, but they barely spoke. Roman sat within earshot whenever he could, and he had better ears than most so it was further than you’d think. He caught Vee, Virgil stupid brain talking with the music teacher after the play practice yet another place they were together for. Virgil was in charge of the lights, while Roman was the lead actor. 

“You sure you want to do this VP?” Mr. Sanders asked. 

“Yea. I think I can do it. Besides, it’s just those of us in the production. I can handle it, and my father has been bothering me for weeks to do it. Pat’s coming home too, so it’d be nice” Virgil shrugged, the small smile Roman kept seeking on his lips.

“Alright. So, you’ll be ready tomorrow?” 

“Yup! See you tomorrow” Virgil called as he raced out the door. Mr. Sanders smiled before he clapped his hands together to gather all the kids to him.

“Alright you guys! We have been invited to a pre-production party. I’ll text you all the address, and I hope you guys can come. It’ll start at 4 o’clock, and wear something fun but appropriate. You can all head home now”

“Sure you can do this VeeVee?” Remus was sprawled across the couch, while Roman stood awkwardly in the entrance to the living room.

“Dad’s the one throwing the party. And the moment I say I’ve had too much, Remy and Pat will take over hosting” Virgil shrugged, lounging next to him upside down. 

“They’re here Verge of Greatness” Remy called as the doorbell rang. 

“Let’s get this party started” Roman smiled, bowing to the host. Virgil rolled his eyes, hissing an insult as he began his duties. The group arrived fairly quickly, reaching close to 100 within half an hour. At first, everything was good. Roman, of course, took over Virgil’s social duties unintentionally. That left the purple haired kid to hang out with his friends and chat with his brother. 

“Songbird” A voice called over the crowd, slightly slurred from the snuck in alcohol. Virgil immediately stopped humming along to the music. The voice continued, getting louder and louder. 

“Sing ferrrr us Vergil” Roman appeared from the crowd finally, zeroing on the host.

“Fuckin, Remus, you didn’t tell me your brother was a lightweight” Virgil hissed to the twin that wasn’t drunk.

“How was I suppose to know? Need me to get you out?” Remus whispered back, glancing between his small friend and his brother. 

“Fuck yea. Lo find my brother. Re, just,,, fucking help” The pair nodded, Remus stepping in front of his brother and Logan disappearing into the crowd. Virgil darted into the crowd and ran into his room. He closed the door and sank to the floor. He remained there until the sounds faded downstairs. A hesitant knock came from his door. 

“Dad?” He raised his head, rubbing his face.

“No. It’s...it’s Roman. I wanted to apologize. I’m not drunk anymore. It...Rob gave it to me and I don’t know what it was, but Patton had to treat me. It was not pretty”

“Why. Why did you go to me?” Virgil asked after a second. 

“....I’ve had a crush on you for...I don’t know how long. He said whatever it was would boost my confidence. I guess it did, but it was harmful to you” Roman chuckled nervously. 

“Look. I don’t know if I can trust you, but I guess I can’t keep this from you forever. You’re my soulmate” Virgil rested his head against the door again, closing his eyes again. He held back tears at the hopeful voice from the other side of the door.

“Really? Then I’m doubly sorry. I...I’m going now. See you at school on Monday. Don’t forget, our lab is due then” The house went silent. 

It took a few months until Roman could look Virgil in the eyes. He’d moved to sit with his brother at their table at the opposite end. He wanted to give Virgil space but his heart couldn’t be denied anymore. The change happened in science class.

“Want to be my date to prom?” Virgil nudged Roman, offering a hand. With a smile, he took it and nodded. 

“Nothing would give me more pleasure my knight in shining armor” 

“ughhhh that’s so cheesy shut up” 

“Ma-” Before Roman could finish his taunt, Virgil kissed him. That solved that problem. 

Maybe the rest of the year may turn out better than either of them thought.

Yo. I've been a follower for some time but haven't really interacted with ya. Wanna know about your OCs and how ya started with them.

Yo! It’s a long story and I’m 100% sure I’ve written it all down somewhere and tagged it something I can’t find atm so buckle up, here it is:

Buttons: when I played Fo3 for the first time in 2013, I wanted to make a character who’s slightly braver than I would be in similar situations (HELLO I WAS SHITLESS SCARED) but still has human feelings and reactions to the horrors of the wasteland. I wasn’t hellbent on making him suffer but he did start out way more miserable than I draw him nowadays. I will continue portraying him more in that manner in our main comic btw. We already had a Lone Wanderer established at this point so I played as the guy pursuing the mayhem the LW left behind, while carving out his own place in the wasteland. I reblogged a bunch of “OC development question” lists and kept replying to asks and RP messages with simple drawings to practice drawing cartoony people, which I sucked at at the time. (Some people here still might remember the shenanigans during which Buttons got stranded in a chastity belt, saved @jimmy-exodus from near death on the Arefu bridge, sold Meg’s personal massager to @thesellbot4000 and beat the absolute shit out of each other with @pistachiozombie‘s Kaite (among many other fun encounters with other characters).

Meg: Remember the woman who runs up to the player in Megaton to thank them for their good deeds with a gift? That’s her. Except the gift is really from her and not the community - she’s got a fat crush on the player character (in this case, Buttons). We altered her look (didn’t want to give her the exact same limp mohawk Buttons had) and relocated her to Arefu. I was smitten with the little settlement and no one seemed to have placed their OC-s there so it didn’t conflict with others’ headcanons.Buttons was meant to be a “regular guy” from the Vault and I wanted Meg to be just as average, but in terms of wasteland life. No heroics, no superhuman skills. I guess I just thought everyday people doing cool/funny/dangerous things was a lot more exciting than someone who trained their whole lives/was literally born for it doing the same.She was created as someone who’s more or less sure of what she’s doing most of the time. Someone admirable and assertive but quirky in her own way.Also, someone with a complete and loving family. (I’ve been thinking of writing more about how her parents met at some point, if I ever have the time.) I wanted the Wednesburys to be a community that fills Buttons (and locals) with hope. You know, so that even his salty ass realizes that a happy life is possible out there.

I wanted to emphasize the idea of people from two different worlds hitting it off really well. I personally can relate to some aspects of the culture shock Buttons might go through, as someone who moved across an ocean to be with my partner. If it was a different AU, they could be the local chick + the weird foreign exchange student who somehow just click from the start. :DThis also brings up interesting conflicts and topics like giving up your past for a future, adapting and embracing each others’ cultures. If you can call vault life vs. wasteland life that, I mean.

Eventually we were like “these guys need siblings”. Cam and I are both middle children and we thought that role would fit Buttons perfectly. We didn’t want to leave Meg without a sibling but we established early on that having a lot of kids in the wasteland is a rare blessing so we settled with just one brother. I don’t think the siblings have evolved enough to warrant a look back in their pasts yet.

As for Cam’s characters…

Mac is probably the oldest made character in our whole line-up. Here’s a post on it!I can’t quite remember where Polly came from but we initially had grim plans for her. Her story was going to end way earlier but she’s grown on us and now we have a whole thing planned for her (pre- and post Mac).Roach is also an old one. Probably from the same time Mac’s character was originally established.Sydney is Cam’s interpretation and expansion of the in-game character.Hauser started out as a grouchy middle-aged man with questionable ethics, accompanying a little girl in New Vegas, but we “refurbished” him when Fallout 4 came out and he became a wholesome dad real fast. The name Hauser stuck with me after playing Fo3 for the first time and following a bunch of Brotherhood Outcasts around (for protection, I was extremely low level). I named all of them and stuck with them as their numbers dwindled and they eventually all died horrible deaths. Hauser was originally going to be an ex-Brotherhood asshole - what remained from that is his name and his expertise with power armor and energy weapons.

Aaaaand I’m talking out of my ass again! WOW people really weren’t joking when they said talking about one’s OC-s goes on forever. D: If only I’ve drawn as much of all this as I thought about…Hope you enjoyed the ramblings :’DThank you for following me!!

The events, as I remember them.

The first terror mission. Unfortunately, no trooper was ranked high enough to get squad size 1, so cerastes stayed at home while our 4 heroes went to save the day. Things were looking well. We had an officer on the run, scared of our big guns, our gunner’s missed suppression overwatch, or probably just Eshu-’Big Dick’-Elegba. Unfortunately, 3/4ths of our squad was slow. Eochad mac Eric needed to reload after suppressing, Kriemhild was packing a bow-caster to make sure enemies hit were pinned to the trees, and Eshu had to carry two rifles.

Thankfully, Tokoyo Shima enjoyed enhanced mobility and the cover of darkness, allowing her to scout ahead and get a view of the enemy squad, while still rescuing civilians. Our 4 heroes set up just outside the enemy’s field of view, in good cover and with one overwatch. The pod we were hoping to catch was a  sectoid and a drone, a tough team on its own, reinforced by the cowardly commander. What we didn’t hope to catch was Gumby. Ten steps away from Tokyo was a fake human, who presumably transformed after seeing a real human evacuated by a shadow. He pondered life as the pod we hoped to catch ran our overwatch.

Unfortunately, we had landed on a map the size of a toothpick, as two more enemies barreled into view of our scout, and playfully killed a civilian. Then Gumby ran forth to give Kriemhild a hug, revealing our scout in the process.

It was 6 aliens against 4 heroes. Kriemhild started out strong, shielding Eochad mac Eric, and mortally wounding/stunning the unwanted hugger with a bowcaster “for 2.” Tokoyo fell back and grenaded the drone, stripping the armor for a kill. Eshu took the shot, and missed. Eric went to area suppress the two closest aliens, and found out that his area suppression was one tile too short. So he suppressed the captain.

Not that it really mattered. The first thing he did during the alien’s turn was panic and run into worse cover. The drone tried to stun Eshu, but his girth left him unstoppable. And Tokoyo, despite being marked, did not get hit, using the ancient civilian-shadow-clone technique.

On our turn, Kriemhild reloaded the supreme weapon and stunned the drone. She would kill Gumby with a 100% guaranteed 6 damage shot next turn. She would later learn to realize that “for 2″ meant two actions, not two turns. Eric could not help us, crying in the river that is half cover, and Eshu missed his shot. Tokoyo, marked and overwatched, hunkered down and watch civilians die.

The alien’s turn was a blur. Gumby revealed he was not left handed, and could hug with his right hand for great damage. Eshu’s massive girth made him an easy target. Tokoyo avoided being mauled by two zombies by being mind controlled herself. It was up to Eric to save the day.

He didn’t. Or rather, at that point, he couldn’t.

Back at the base, Cerastes had brought home a snake girlfriend.

hey so i was thinking about getting the me:a and ive been a huge fan of ME games in the past but i heard rly bad things about it?? like a lot of ppl are unhappy w it? and id get the origin access thing but i cant since im on a mac and i was just wondering what you thought abt it & if its worth getting the game now

tbh I love it so far! I definitely think it’s worth it. the gameplay is really fun, the characters are all great so far, and the story is really dragging me in! I’ll admit I’ve stopped myself from going to far in early access, bc I don’t wanna have to worry about missing things from being on a time limit, but I’ve seen videos on what the full trial has to offer and I’ve played a bit of the multiplayer. based on what I’ve seen so far I would definitely 100% recommend the game, especially if you’re a fan of the original trilogy

(I’m gonna talk abt some stuff, no spoilers tho!)

probably the biggest concern you’ve been seeing is facial animations? imo they’re really not bad, they can definitely be kinda weird at times and they eyes/eyebrows don’t always look Quite right but honestly I really like all the little oddities! I already made a post abt how I think it’s really endearing and makes everyone cuter lmao. I’ve also seen a few other animation glitches but they really aren’t that big a deal lmao. tbh animations have never been bioware’s strong point anyway so I’m not entirely sure what people are so mad about. another major complaint I’ve seen is the character creator, which is definitely limited, especially compared to the other games. I wouldn’t say it was dogshit tho lmao, like it was harder for me to create a ryder I liked with it but I just had to experiment a little and I figured it out lmao. I also really like the new tattoo options, and I’m not sure why people are so salty over the hair??? like it MOVES NOW!!!!! there are some really nice options! ppl are complaining there’s no long hair but tbh it’s long enough for this. I’m not entirely sure what they expect, like ass length hair? like this is bioware can u imagine the clipping we’d get with that hair long lmao (I’m sorry this is becoming me like. getting super salty over the fandom but I’m a salty bitch lmao)

I’m on mobile so I can’t stick any of this under a readmore so before this gets too long I’ll talk real quick abt how good it is! the combat is super fun, it definitely feels more fast paced but still like mass effect! I’m still trying to get used to some of the new mechanics tho so I’m pretty bad at it lmao, it probably doesn’t help that I’m experimenting with a new class either!! the characters are all great so far, I was really pleasantly surprised by dad as cora (not that I was expecting them to be bad or anything, they were both a lot warmer than trailers had made them seem, and cora was funny too). Liam I had very high expectations for and he met every single one and more, he was an absolute delight to be around. I didn’t personally meet the tempest crew or other squadmates yet (like I said I don’t wanna go too far yet) but from what Ive seen in videos they all seem fantastic: vetra is cool, peebee seems super fun, gil is ADORABLE (I wanna romance him as Scott now!!), suvi is a sweetheart. Kallo is a huge nerd and apparently loves to talk shit and gossip and I love him so far! I don’t wanna compare him to joker, that kind of feels like doing him a disservice, but I wanna say he’s definitely a worthy successor to him. I’m so excited to spend more time with them, and also to actually see jaal lmao. Voice acting for everyone is phenomenal, especially the Ryder siblings. I’ve played a bit as both of them and they definitely feel like two different, if similar, people. they even had different dialogue options and lines! I really love how they both seem to have their own distinct personalities (not to say you can’t shape them yourself as well, but they feel different from each other when you play as them). The story is really good so far, I’m super interested in all the different threads they’re stringing for us — there are a lot!!! — and I’m so excited to see what’s gonna happen next with the nexus, the golden worlds, companions, all of it! music is really good. it actually felt a lot like dragon age inquisition to me, especially in the cc. the game looks amazing too! like even besides the animations, which as I said I kind of liked lmao, the graphics are really great. environments and space and the sky all look beautiful, and the characters look amazing. armor is sick too — I’m a fuckin mess for cool armor lmao.

ok that’s kind of all I can think of rn and like I said I don’t want this getting too long without a readmore, so I’m gonna leave it at that!! I hope I kind of helped u make up your mind or at least eased some of ur worries about the game? like not to be rude but the bioware fandom has always been kind of a negative Mess so I wouldn’t worry too much about what they have to say lmao. but yeah I love the game so far! It definitely has its little quirks and it isn’t perfect but the problems are honestly negligible in the grand scheme of things, the game is totally worth it and I’m super excited to see how it all plays out!

Honourable Mention: Darksiders Warmastered Edition

Release Date: April 2nd Platform: Nintendo Switch Developer: Vigil Games Publisher: THQ Nordic

Releasing this month on a new platform of the Nintendo Switch, Darksiders Warmastered Edition brings the first entry in the franchise that focuses on the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. The first game features War, who acts along with his brothers as the enforcers of the Charred Council, maintaining the balance between Heaven and Hell. But War is called to Earth due the chaos raised between fighting Angels and Demons. As he tries to defeat a demon, he realises his powers are being drained, he next wakes up accused by the Council of being the cause of the end of the world. In order to prove his innocence he returns to Earth to clear his name but is tied to Watcher to keep him in check.

Gameplay includes wielding apocalyptic powers, brutal attacks, supernatural abilites as well as an extensive arsenal of weapons to choose from. There are also quests that will take you to the wastelands and dungeons overrun with demons. Evolve your playstyle using a range of relics, upgradeable options for your weapons, unlock new abilities to suit your destruction.

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition comes to the Nintendo Switch on April 2nd.

A single-player game with steampunk theme, this dungeon crawler RPG Vaporum is inspired by games such as Dungeon Master I and II, as well as the Eye of the Beholder series. The story takes place stranded on a small islet situated in the middle of ocean. Entering a gigantic mechanical tower you must uncover the mysteries that lie within and well as discover who are you.

While most RPGs favour abilities to level up, Vaporum focuses on improving your exoskelton, because in this game “you are what you wear”. The gadget system allows you to change up your loadout at any time, which gives players a great deal of flexibility for different situations that you may encounter. As you progress, unlock new circuits which will give you a permanent attribute advantage as well as passive skills.

The title offers first person combat in real time, puzzles as well as level-wide objectives and a gadget-based RPG system. As you explore the immersive steampunk world of Vaporum you will be rewarded with loot as well an enigmatic storyline which is accompanied by a fully voiced cast of main characters.

Vaporum releases on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 10th.

4. Vambrace: Cold Soul

Release Date: April 25th Platform: PC/Mac Developer: Devespresso Games Publisher: Headup

Vambrace: Cold Soul is a narrative driven rogue-like title that pits players against brutal challenges matched with deep strategy. Players take on the role of Evelia Lyric, the only human able to enter frost covered Icenaire, the cursed city. Now inhabited by it’s former residents that have been raised from the dead, these Wraiths  plague the city. It is down to you to bring hope to this darkened land, as you bear the enchanted vambrace. Plan your missions underground and then head to the surface with your team to combat strange encounters.

Journeying into an epic fantasy adventure, this title spans over 7 chapters, captured in a beautiful hand-drawn artstyle. You can choose to take part in sub-quests to unlock character skins. Battle through perils with your party in turn-based combat, choosing from 5 different races which include humans, elves, foxier, dwarves or drow, and 10 different classes. Items can be crafted as well as armor, use materials gathered from your side-scrolling adventure. It’s down to your decisions, that will make or break your party’s survival.

Vambrace: Cold Soul will release on PC on April 25th.

3. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster

Release Date: April 16th Platform: Xbox One, Switch Developer: Square Enix Publisher: Square Enix

Now joining two new platforms, Final Fantasy X/X-2 will be arriving in April for Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. In Final Fantasy X, players follow the story of Tidus a blitzball player who journeys with a young summoner named Yuna. Together they set on a quest to save the world of Spira, an advanced universe that relies heavily on machina. But it now suffers from the endless destruction cause by the villainous Sin. In Final Fantasy X-2 you return to the world of Spira, two years after the commencement of the Eternal Calm.

Both titles offer over 100 hours of combined gameplay, with remastered graphics, offering players the choice of listening to the original or new enhanced audio. Final Fantasy X takes on the classic turn-based system but adds a few twists with actions and cooldown times, which can rearrange sequence order or even swap out active characters during battle. The sequel, Final Fantasy X-2 uses a modified ATB system which has been used in other titles in the series, but is more fast paced and allows two actions simultaneously. Explore the the world of Spira, take on quests, minigames and optional side-quests.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remastered releases on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 16th.

2. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

Release Date: April 30th Platform: Xbox One/Switch Developer: Square Enix Publisher: Square Enix

Another Final Fantasy title making its way to Xbox One and the Switch is Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. In this entry the kingdom of Dalmasca has been infiltrated by the forces of the Archadia, it’s down to a couple of vagabonds, a knight, leader of a resistance, a sky pirate and a rabbit lady to take on the wicked enemies and save the kingdom. There’s an airship, humanoids rabbits and Chocobos, what more could you want from a Final Fantasy game?

This entry in the Final Fantasy universe takes on a different approach when it comes to combat. In this title battles take place out in the open, no teleporting to a battle scenario here. Tailor your party’s actions to behave as you wish using the gambit system between fights. Actions are carried out once cooldowns have completed, swap and switch actions in the list of commands to have them play out when ready. You can gain new commands to customise your squad further from merchants throughout the game.

Combat is fairly flexible when it comes to characters, allowing you to choose any role to cast them in, with a selection of 12 variations of Licences. For example choose “white mage” to gain those much needed heals or “foebreaker” for a more upclose combat build. The remastered version brings an updated feature which allows players to speed up actions if you wish and New Game+ mode.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age releases on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 30th.

1. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen

Release Date: April 23rd Platform: Switch Developer: Capcom Publisher: Capcom

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is set in an open-world, where players will be able to embark on an action-combat adventure accompanied by three AI companions also known as Pawns. Together with your crew, you will battle terrifying enemies to reap the rewards.

Wield a sword and shield as a Fighter, protecting your group or take on the role of Mage by using spells to attack or recovery magic to aid your party. There are a number of different jobs to take on to suit your preferred gameplay style which includes Fighter, Strider, Mage, Warrior, Mystic Knight, Ranger, Assassin and Magic Archer. You can even summon other player’s pawns to aid you in battle by visiting a Rift stone.

The game has been adapted for a more Switch friendly gameplay experience, with a “revamped user interface” meaning better screen visibility for both handheld and docked mode. Dragon’s Dogma was first released in 2012 directed by Devil May Cry lead Hideaki Istuno, which was later expanded with Dark Arisen.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will join the Nintendo Switch on April 23rd and comes with all previously released content and DLCs.

Mint does not distribute coins to local banks

It never ceases to amaze me that even the most seasoned and esteemed numismatists do not understand how United States coinage goes from manufacturing to circulation.

In Harvey Stack’s Viewpoint column (Nov. 18, 2018), he blamed the U.S. Mint for problems with the distribution of the 50 State Quarters program. In his article, Stack wrote that “the distribution of the new designs did not get full nationwide distribution. The Mint sent to most banks nationwide whatever they had available, with some districts getting large quantities of the new issue and other districts getting relatively few, if any.”

The U.S. Mint does not distribute circulating coins to any United States bank except for the Federal Reserve. At the end of every production line is a two-ton bag made of ballistic materials that collect every coin produced on the line. When the bag is full, it is sealed and later transported to a processing center designated by the Federal Reserve.

The U.S. Mint is a manufacturer. When they complete making the product, it is packaged in bulk and the customer, the Federal Reserve, picks up the product. Once the product is delivered to the client, that product’s distribution is no longer in the U.S. Mint’s control.

During the time of the 50 States Quarters program, the U.S. Mint had an agreement with the Federal Reserve to distribute the new coins first in order to get them into circulation. When the new coins were transferred to the various Federal Reserve cash rooms in the 12 districts, the Federal Reserve did circulate the new coins first.

What gets left out of the discussion is the logistics of transferring the coins from the cash rooms to the banks. The Federal Reserve does not deliver. Like many government agencies, the Federal Reserve relies on contractors to carry out that job. The Federal Reserve “sells” the coins to the logistics companies that bag and roll the coins and eventually deliver the coins in armored vehicles to the banks.

In order to save money, these logistics companies keep their own supply of coins. This supply comes from the Federal Reserve cash room operations or excess they are given from the banks. Since the logistics companies were not part of the deal that the U.S. Mint made with the Federal Reserve, a bank that asked for a delivery of quarters may have received quarters from the logistics company’s stock rather than new issues from the Federal Reserve.

Logistics is the coordination of complex operations, and it is the job of these logistics companies to fulfill the inventory needs of the bank in the most efficient manner possible. It was more efficient to supply the banks in less densely populated areas with coins from current stock than transporting large amounts of coins from one of the Federal Reserve cash room operations that may be hundreds of miles away.

The U.S. Mint may do many things that collectors might take exception to, but the distribution of circulating coins is not their responsibility.

  Jump out of the stock market and into CC coins

Thought I would run this by you as I am a fan of all CC coins.

Are they generally a good investment as far as rarity goes in comparison to the other mints? I realize there are some dates that are really hard to find in high-end coins. I am sort of new to this and have liquidated all my IRA stock holdings to acquire silver and gold coins.

Editor’s note: Carson City Mint coins are popular among collectors because of the story of the mint itself. There are common issues and rare issues from this mint. Prices depend on quality and scarcity. Generally speaking, markets have been stable in the last couple of years. You have the time to study these issues and make the decisions to buy or not buy when you are ready.

If you are looking for quick in and out plays, these coins will not do well for you. If you are thinking of 10 or 15 years, then you have a chance to make a profit. The rules of diversification apply to coins as well as other asset classes. Putting all of your retirement money into one thing is not a good idea.

I hope you are approaching this with the idea of being a collector and having some fun with it. This approach usually yields the best results over time.

  70-point grading not fully used; why adopt 100?

I have been observing the debate in Numismatic News about the pros and cons of a new 100-point coin grading system. At first I thought the 100-point system would be a good idea – sounded simpler, like the decimal system. But after reading George Kissinger’s letter to the editor in the Nov. 6th NN, I was inclined to agree with him – the coin collecting community does not even make full use of the current 70-point system. He’s right, in my experience.

At the numerous shows I’ve attended over the past 30 years, for raw coins in lower grades, one sees G4 and G6, VG8 or VG10, F12 or F15, and on up to AU50 – just a couple of grade breaks per category. So for the most part, the number grades in between are useless. Even when I tried putting together a Washington quarter set in BU, I mainly saw raw coins in cardboard flips above AU50 confined to AU55 and AU58. No AU51 or AU52, no AU56 or AU57. Even today, most Mint State grades go MS60. MS63, MS65. Above MS65, it’s anybody’s guess at the real quality.

Only in the grading of raw Morgan and Peace type silver dollars does it seem there’s much regular use of grades like MS61, MS62, and all the way to MS68 or perhaps MS70. The pressure for a 100-point system seems to be on the high-end Mint State third-party graded coins. On a 100-point system, they can have more grade breaks in MS, and the pricing can go up with every single point. So why not just let them have 40 grades between MS60 and MS100, and there’s your 100-point system?

  Prices of slabbed tokens make no sense

When McDonald’s had their 50th Anniversary Big Mac token release earlier this year, I drove around to five or six McD’s locations to get all five. So my cost is $25 plus gas. (I ate one Big Mac with each purchase!) People have until, I think it is, the end of the year to redeem the token for a free Big Mac. I’m thinking of keeping mine as a souvenir or a collectible.

I just looked on eBay, and my mind is boggled. Had I gotten the five still-in-the-cellophane tokens graded at what cost I don’t know, they are going for $75 and up. This is crazy. I just don’t understand why getting these tokens graded makes them worth so much more. As if people are going to counterfeit the tokens for a $5 Big Mac. I’d rather have them in the original packaging along with the tiny card inside. I’ve watched Antiques Roadshow enough to know packaging is almost everything, or really makes a significant difference in pricing.

This is just crazy. You have to get McDonald’s tokens graded, pay for that grading, for people to see value in them. Maybe there’s some truth in what other readers say in that today people buy the holder and not the coin.

OK, so other people don’t think the same way I do, but I really think this is crazy.

Please ask your readers for comments. Could be they’d rather collect real coins anyway and not commercial McDonald’s tokens.

Will and Bill have calculations too but people don't believe them because they say they want to but there are others who are Max who are figured it out now if you combine that with people who are spiced up and a certain regimen which keeps them that way in other words they keep the child stays that way you would get someone like this but they look human most of the time except if they use spice it can mutate real fast and grow armor and grow big and everything real quick

This is similar quality no it is not this is very poor quality my quality is that of probably what the men's wearhouse used to be the American made systems which everybody copied it's very high quality and it's very nice material it's not a regular polyester weave it's a special one for space and it is made to be a little cooler and they get very hot up there and it is meant for versatility as well and it is meant for running around and trying to keep it clean as well it's easy to clean it's durable material some of them are a leathery material it's not vinyl it is armor and it's a composite which is used widely in space they're real suits and real light armor mostly personal wear but we do have armor that they wear and it is spaceworthy and they do have the regular outfits they wear too when they're not on duty and there's a ton of people buying them huge numbers of people want to be on board they're going to go for the common Empire too and they're selling those and we're selling those and it's all supercon I'm down here now in Miami. Well if you can't find me there we're in line then our quality is much better you can actually wear it and you don't have to wait for it or make it yourself like most people end up doing you can send us your size or your scan
