What is this unsightly creature...?

Recently decided their world has cambrian creatures, including, like, big scary kaiju ones. But this is just a good ol anomalocaris. It's his first time seeing one <3

I had to come up with a reason why it took the two human species so long (??) to reach the central continent, even though it's not that far away... the answer is creatures. Sailing technology alone isn't enough for such cross-continental journeys. You have to be prepared for Random Shrimp Event.

((I am remembering hearing that one unrealistic aspect of the Toy Story 2 plot is that Woodie is a huge collector's item because not many of him survived (irc) when it is extremely unlikely that would've happened (he was the main character of a TV show), but if that were the case it would only be never opened Woodie dolls only--not moderate-to-gently used.

The ultra rare hard to find stuff tends to be things nobody bought, so it would make more sense if he were an edition of Woodie that flopped or if he were a minor character not a lot of people liked. Personally, I'd prefer it if it were the latter as a certified enjoyer of media not a lot of people seem to even know exists because that's relatable to me personally. That and I kinda love the idea of Andy being super attached to a doll of an obscure character from an old TV show.
