i would love to see daniel making what he feels like is a mistake with wren (similar to how he fucked up with wren getting attacked by the local wildlife in the beginning of the story). like he pushes wren too far without realizing it, or hurts him in a way he didn't intend to (like rope failure during suspension bondage). love to see wren suffering and i also love to see daniel feeling guilty so like. best of both worlds lol

“Uh, could you… check the ropes again? Something’s weird about the balance.”
“I know what I’m doing, sweetheart.”
“But-”
“Just trust me. Besides, just a few more pictures and we’ll be done, okay?”
Daniel snaps a picture. One of the knots in the elaborate ropework keeping Wren suspended snaps too.
It happens in a blink of an eye. Wren becomes certain that something is wrong with Daniel’s handiwork, that it wasn’t just his imagination, and in the next moment his body jolts downwards. If that was the end of it, it wouldn’t be bad - he’d just be a bit startled, he’d get to savor Daniel being proven wrong, but, unfortunately, he mostly did know what he was doing.
Wren’s right arm was still secured with rope, and when he shifted, it stayed in exactly the same position.
He sees stars. His scream of agony comes out as a strained gasp. His shoulder is on fire.
Daniel curses, sets his camera aside and rushes to start painstakingly undoing the knots while Wren hyperventilates, eyes wide, forehead lined with cold sweat.
"I told you!" he chokes out, close to sobbing. "I fucking told you and you didn't- Why the fuck didn't you believe me?!"
Daniel doesn't answer, focused on untying the ropes; Wren's shaky breathing is the only sound. When he's finally freed, the pain only gets worse when his shoulder shifts, and he can't stop tears from falling from his eyes. It hurts so much, a completely new pain. Daniel cradles him in his arms, petting his hair, and the look of remorse on his face is nowhere near as satisfying as it would be if Wren could think more clearly.
"I'm sorry," Daniel says, carefully laying his hand on Wren's injured shoulder, making him tense up and gasp. "Next time I'll make sure the ropes are secure."
"Next time?!" Wren cries. “My shoulder is-”
"I know, I know. And… I need to set it, so be still. Just trust me."
"Again?! You just fucking showed me why-"
Once again, he doesn't get to finish his sentence - with practiced confidence Daniel grabs his arm, lifts it up, and pulls, and Wren howls in agony feeling it pop back into place.
“Okay, okay, it’s okay now,” Daniel whispers, holding Wren close as he struggles to breathe. “You can rest.” He sighs, then the corners of his mouth rise in a playful smirk. “First that animal, now this. I guess I’ll just ask Berkeley to bring me some new rope next time so there’s no more accidents, hm? I really am sorry, though. I’ve learned my lesson.”
“You didn’t learn shit,” Wren rasps, somehow mustering enough strength and clarity to glare at Daniel, who, much to his fury, laughs.
“See how quickly you bounce back? You’re stronger than you realize, sweetheart.”
Wren presses his lips tightly together and shakes his head. He’s not strong enough to fight back in a way that matters, not strong enough to escape. At the moment his strength seems completely meaningless to him, and he’s so tired of staying strong this way when Daniel only seems to find delight in it.

Hey Deek! You mentioned in your most recent fic (so amazing btw) that Sirius and Remus both struggle with mental stuff as well, and I was wondering if you'd be willing to write something about that? Hope you have a great day regardless!
Hello lovely Eve! I have the file for this doc saved under the name: “Anything for you Beyoncé” and I just thought y’all should know that. I most certainly can! I apologize this took forever (that seems to be the theme for me lately ope) but here it finally is. I love when people ask for more based on like a random line from something else because of course I have more thoughts on the subject, I’m very long winded. Edit: This has really snowballed in a long thing kinda (Like over 3k) oopsie daisy. No wonder this took me so long to finish. I hope it was worth the wait??
I would also like to note that I HC that even after Sirius moved out, the house he bought was still in the same neighborhood as the Dumias’. Not too close, like maybe the other side of it or a neighboring cul-de-sac or something, a good 10-20 minutes or so maybe but still close by.
TW for anxiety, panic attack, loss of consciousness
Dumo kept stealing glances at Sirius from across the dinner table at Sid’s. He hadn’t ordered anything, instead opting to steal a few bites from Remus’ order. Dumo had noticed that Sirius had been rather quiet the last few days of practice and was glad they had the next two days off to recoup; Sirius seemed to need the break.
Remus caught him looking over at Sirius, and they shared a look. They could both tell something was bothering their captain, but also knew it could be a delicate situation and didn’t want to push the matter in such a public place.
***
An hour later, Remus and Sirius headed home, the radio playing softy in the background. Sirius couldn’t seem to stop fiddling with the pocket of his hoodie, and eventually reached over to turn the radio off. It had been making him restless; just like at the restaurant, the idle background noise was getting on his nerves.
All night he had been zoning out during dinner, trying to filter out all the noise that seemed to be a bit too much stimulation. His boyfriend glanced over at him after he had turned the radio off without a word but didn’t say anything. Sirius was sure he must have been concerned but was a=waiting until they got home to address it, which Sirius was grateful for. He wasn’t sure what the issue was, but he was pretty sure he was about to have a breakdown at any moment about it.
Once they got home and walked through the door, Remus kissed Sirius cheek, “I’m going to go grab the laundry and throw a load in before we head to bed. Need anything washed?”
Sirius shied away from him. “Non.”
Sirius normally loved the little reassuring touches from his boyfriend, but all day it was just hitting the wrong nerve. It didn’t feel good. He made his way to the living room and sat on the couch in silence, staring at the blank TV. He couldn’t put a finger on what was wrong, but he knew something was. The last few days he had been on edge and couldn’t seem to figure out why. Everything was too much to handle and there was this tight feeling in his chest that only got heavier when he tried to do anything. He had barely managed to work up the courage to let Remus drag him to practice the last few days because even that seemed too overwhelming of a task. He hadn’t had much of an appetite either, barely finishing what Remus would put on his plate and never going for seconds or even thirds, which was a typical occurrence for him.
He’s not sure how long he sat on the couch doing nothing, but he faintly heard the washer turn on and then Remus sat on the other end of the couch. His voice was unnervingly soft as he spoke, “Baby, please talk to me.”
Sirius only stayed silent, steadfastly not making eye contact.
Remus shifted a little closer on the couch, but Sirius only shied away, further concerning Remus. “Please. What can I do? What do you need?”
At that it was like the dam that had been building in Sirius’ chest all week finally broke. “I don’t know what I need!” Sirius shouted, standing up and crossing the room, still facing away from his worried boyfriend. He couldn’t handle the look on his face right now. He brought his hand up to tug at his hair on either side of his face. “I either need to scream or collapse and take a nap, I don’t know! I hate being in this limbo.” He finally turned around, tear in his eyes. “I don’t know what to do anymore.” Sirius broke down, crashing to his knees and letting out a frustrated sob.
Remus slowly and deliberately got up from the couch, sitting down in front of it where Sirius had been sitting. He was still a good five feet from his boyfriend on the floor, but he didn’t want to crowd him. “Hey. It’s okay.” Remus soothed him. “I’m right here.”
“I know you are and I… I don’t even know what to ask for help. Fuck, I’m- just so- frustrated with myself. Why do I feel like this? Everything is too much to handle and it shouldn’t be but even picking a fucking hoodie to wear for the day makes me a nervous wreck. It’s too big a decision and it’s a fucking sweater. Why?!” He sobbed.
“Sirius, can I touch you right now?” Remus had reached his arms out a bit towards Sirius.
“No.” He gasped out.
“Alright.” Remus held his hands up in surrender. “I need you to take a deep breath with me, yeah? In. Out.” Remus’ tone was calm and even, despite the panicked look he no doubt had on his face. His boyfriend may have a good poker face, but he couldn’t hide the tough emotions. Sirius could always read him like a book, even when Remus didn’t want him to. He led Sirius through a few long breaths which he couldn’t quite take completely.
After a few tries, Sirius got frustrated with the effort and not being able to get in a good brath and started to hyperventilate, still pulling on his hair. He’s not sure how long he knelt on their living room floor like that; he could vaguely make out Remus a few feet from him, trying to talk to him. Probably trying to get him to calm down, but he couldn’t hear him. He couldn’t focus on anything besides the floodgates that had opened in his chest and that damn washerswishing in the background. It mixed with the sound of his loud breathing, which was also freaking him out, and it was too much. There was too much noise. In what could have been moments or hours of trying to breathe, everything went black.
***
Remus knew Sirius had been off all week. His cuddle bug of a boyfriend had stopped initiating contact and was tentative at best when Remus tried to comfort him in any way. He’d hardly been eating, pushing around food on his plate and seeming to choke most of it down before giving up. But at least he ate.
Even at team dinner at Sid’s on their day off, he hadn’t gotten anything. Remus got him to take a few bites of his food, but that was it. And Dumo had noticed. Well, everyone was starting to notice, but everyone just thought their captain was in a funk. Remus wasn’t so sure that was all it was, and Dumo seemed to be thinking the same thing at dinner.
Sirius had been out of it at dinner, not really paying attention to anything but jumpy if anything loud clattered about. On the ride home, he had turned off the radio. Sirius loved the background music normally, but it seemed to be putting him at unrest. Remus wasn’t sure what was going on, but he was starting to piece it together.
Once they had gotten home, he tried giving Sirius a reassuring kiss, then busied himself with the laundry to give Sirius a bit of space. It only took him 15 minutes to fun upstairs to collect their laundry, sort it into loads, and throw it in, starting it and going to find his boyfriend.
He sat on the other end of the couch, trying to give him space. He tried to keep his voice even, despite the worry, “Baby, please talk to me.” He hoped the nickname would sooth him.
When Sirius didn’t respond in any way, he shifted closer. “Please. What can I do? What do you need?”
That seemed to tip him over the edge. He abruptly stood and took a few staggering steps from the couch, hands going up to pull at his hair. That was never a good sign. He only did that when he was trying to ground himself from his thoughts. He was having a panic attack.
“I don’t know what I need!” Sirius shouted. “I either need to scream or collapse and take a nap, I don’t know! I hate being in this limbo.” He finally faced Remus then, tears in his eyes and Remus felt helpless to help his hurting boyfriend. “I don’t know what to do anymore.” Sirius continued, falling to his knees and sobbing.
Remus’ heart broke for him. This had been building up all week and now it was time to let it all out. He had been having an anxiety attack the last few days and didn’t even realize it. But Remus knew now was not the time to think about the what if’s if he had realized sooner. Sirius needed him now. Probably didn’t even register himself that he had been having a prolonged anxiety attack and that’s what let it build up.
Remus deliberately got up and slowly moved nearer to the panicking man, sitting down a few feet from him, leaning back against the couch. “Hey. It’s okay.” Remus tried to sooth him. “I’m right here.” He did his best to not let his worry creep into his voice, he knew that would only freak Sirius out more.
“I know you are and I… I don’t even know what to ask for help. Fuck,” Sirius sounded so broken. “I’m- just so- frustrated with myself. Why do I feel like this? Everything is too much to handle and it shouldn’t be but even picking a fucking hoodie to wear for the day makes me a nervous wreck. It’s too big a decision and it’s a fucking sweater. Why?!” He sobbed harder.
“Sirius, can I touch you right now?” Remus asked, reaching his arms out a bit towards Sirius, testing the water.
“No.” He gasped out through his sobs.
“Alright.” Remus held his hands up in surrender. Touch grounded him faster than anything, but, Remus realized, they were past that and into sensory input of any kind was too much. “I need you to take a deep breath with me, yeah? In. Out.” Remus tried to get him to even out his breathing, but he couldn’t seem to get it, hyperventilating. Remus could tell by the wild, unfocused look in the other man’s eyes that he was in full panic. “Sirius, you need to breath with me. Or you’re going to going to pass out. Please, baby, breath for me.” He kept trying, but he could tell Sirius couldn’t hear him over his own panicked breaths. He say the moment the energy left Sirius’ eyes as he passed out and crumpled to the floor.
“Sirius!” Remus gasped, tears rolling down his face. When had he started crying? He lunged forward, trying to pull the bigger man into his lap. “Fuck.” He cussed to himself.
As he sat there, holding his unconscious boyfriend, he finally heard his breathing even out. At least he was breathing somewhat normally again. In the distance he heard the washer spin to a halt. The fucking washer. If Sirius hadn’t been doing well with sensory input, like sounds, that sure as hell hadn’t helped.
“Fuck.” Remus sniffled, mad at himself for letting it get this far and then that and- No. He needed to stop. Spiraling was not going to help Sirius right now. But Remus couldn’t help it.
Not knowing what else to do, he pulled out his phone and dialed Dumo.
***
If anyone asked, he would deny that he was anticipating a call from anyone. Yet, he sat in his recliner, watching a movie with the kids, phone face up on the arm rest next to him. He hoped he conveyed to Remus to let him know if they needed anything. If Sirius needed him.
So, when Remus’ contact popped up on the screen, he answered as fast as he could, getting up from his seat and walking down the hall to get away form the noisy living room. “Remus. Is he okay? What do you need?”
Then he heard Remus sniffle, the silence on the other line deafening. “Help. Please.” Came Remus’ broken sob.
“I’m coming. Just stay with me, oui? What happened?” Dumo grabbed for his keys by the door and shoved on some shoes, heading to his car.
“He- he-” Remus was gasping.
“Remus. Breathe.”
“I- he-”
“Breathe”
“I know.” Remus snapped. “I’m sorry. He- He wouldn’t breathe. Then he passed out. And it’s my fault. And now I’m freaking out and I know that’s not helping but I can’t he just collapsed and fuck.” He rushed to get out, sobbing harder.
“Remus. It’ll be okay.” Dumo tried to keep his voice as even as he could. Sirius, his son, had passed out. Hyperventilated and passed the fuck out. Merde, not again, Dumo thought to himself. That had happened a few times back when he stilled lived with him, but it only happened when something Sirius was really upset. “Alright, Remus, I need you to try and listen to me, oui?”
Remus just breathed heavily, probably trying to stop the tears and focus, remember what he knew.
Dumo took his quieting sobs as a cue to continue. “Alright. Is he okay? Did he hit anything when he passed out?”
“No. Just the carpet, he was already on the floor.” Remus gasped out.
“Good, that’s good. I need you to get him situated so he’s lying down, alright?”
“Mmhmm. Yeah, got that.” Remus sniffled, his training slowly coming back to his foggy, panicked brain.
“Good. He should wake up any moment, just stay with him, I’m almost there.”
**
Remus stayed on the line with Dumo, in silence for a few heart wrenchingly long moments until Sirius’ eyes started to blink open, still filled with panic, and Remus reached out to grab his hand a squeeze. “He- he’s waking up.”
Sirius returned the pressure, eyes darting around and suddenly sitting up. He swayed, bringing his right hand to his head and closing his eyes again, groaning at the dizziness.
“Hey, no, lay back down for me.” Remus said wetly.
“Re- I’m sorry.” Sirius got out, tears falling down his face again.
“Shh, it’s alright baby, don’t cry.”
“But you’re crying. I-”
“It’s okay.” Remus reached out with his free hand to push some stray curls off the other mans head.
Just then, the front door opened and Dumo rushed into the living room the find the upset men.
“Remus.” He placed a steadying hand on the younger man’s shoulder, “Can you run and get a glass of water and a cold washcloth?”
“Yeah, but- ”
“I’ll stay with him, get him moved to the couch. Go.”
All Remus could do is nod. He didn’t want to leave Sirius, but he knew Dumo was trying to het him to take a minute and collect himself, if nothing else to help keep Sirius from freaking out more. He slowly got up and made his way to the main floor bathroom and pulled out a washcloth, running it under the cold tap. He leaned against the cold counter for a few breaths as he heard rustling in the living room, no doubt Dumo helping Sirius lay down on the couch.
He went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge, then heading back out to the living room. Dumo was on a knee by Sirius’ head, talking to him softly in French. Sirius had his eyes screwed shut, barely moving his head but nodding along to whatever Dumo was saying to him.
Remus came round the couch, setting the bottle on the side table and passing the damp cloth to Dumo, who gently ran it over Sirius’ face. Remus was still reeling from what happened and couldn’t focus enough to translate what Dumo had been saying but made out Heather’s name. He walked to the other end of the couch by Sirius’ feet and sank to the floor, bringing his knees to his chest and laying his arms across them, resting his head down atop them.
He stayed like that, eyes screwed shut, and took deep, deliberate breaths, trying to calm him hammering heart. He couldn’t help Sirius if he was freaking out too. But watching the man he loved lose consciousness right in front of him was terrifying.
After a few minutes, he felt something nudge his back. Sirius his brain supplied him with. Remus could feel his socked foot resting between his shoulder blades. And then he felt the warmth of Dumo settling down next to him.
“Remus.” His voice sounded far off, and Remus had to focus to catch the rest of what he was saying. “D’accord? What do you need?”
Remus looked up, the soft light in the room from the corner lamp crashed into his vision, and with it, Dumo’s voice, now much clearer.
“Hey, Remus?”
“Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine.” He got out.
Dumo fixed a disbelieving look at the younger man.
“I- fuck.” Remus sniffled. He took a deep breath to steady himself. He looked up past Dumo and saw Sirius propped up on his elbows, sipping from the bottle of water. He took a deep breath, but the tears cam anyway. Remus looked back down and then made to get up, but Dumo just draped and arm around his shoulders, keeping him in place. “My freaking out is not going to help right now. I’m sorry. I can’t- Fuck. I’m sorry.”
Dumo just pulled him into his side, lightly shushing him.
It took a few minutes for Remus to calm down, but before long, he realized Sirius had shifted around and was now sitting cross legged on the couch behind him hand reassuringly on his shoulder. He whispered out another, “I’m sorry,” through the last of his sniffles before looking up.
Dumo dropped his arms from Remus’ shoulders as Sirius shifted to help haul him up next to him on the couch.
Remus had come back to himself enough to notice Sirius had initiated that contact and situated himself firmly next to Sirius on the couch, touching shoulder to knee. It took everything in him not to wrap Sirius up in his arms, even more to stave off the feeling of wanting to be wrapped up by Sirius.
“Would you two like me to stay or leave?” Dumo asked from where he was still seated on the floor.
Remus looked over to Sirius, who was looking uneasy and awkward. Remus guessed he felt bad about wanting to ask Dumo to go. As much a Sirius loved Dumo’s be there, Remus guess the need to be surrounded by as few people and sensory inputs as possible was winning out.
Dumo just nodded and stood to leave, giving Remus a reassuring squeeze of his shoulder as he headed out.
Remus stayed, sitting pressed up to Sirius, for he’s not sure how long before Sirius indicated he wanted to head to bed. They headed up, getting ready around each other with practiced ease, climbing into bed. Remus was carful not to gravitate too close to the middle to give Sirius some space, and was beyond relieved when Sirius laid down right next to him so their bodies were pressed together all along their side.
Remus longed to snuggle up to Sirius but knew that what Sirius needed right now was to let him set the pace.
Remus tried his best for the next day to keep a low profile and give Sirius some space in the large, quiet house. He could tell Sirius was really worn out after the prolonged anxiety attack that had ended in a panic attack, so he made sure Sirius ate and stayed hydrated, got some rest, trying to stay in a routine Sirius could relax into. And he made sure Sirius scheduled an appointment to talk to Heather as soon as he could get in.
Over the next couple days, he could tell Sirius was doing better, if not still a little reserved. By the time practices started back up, he was still a bit quieter than normal, but doing a lot better with sensory things.
Remus knew everything wouldn’t be solved when the symptoms had gone or from one visit with Heather, but he knew it was a step in the right direction, and he hoped that Sirius knew that he would be there through the good days and for the bad ones that were bound to happen. Remus intended to prove that to him, though he suspected Sirius already knew.

hi- I’m not sure if you’re the right person to ask, but I wanted to know how to start a fanfic writing tumblr- I mean, I’m just not sure how to start since I’ve never posted anything on my account- I’m sorry if this is an inconvenience-
Don’t worry about it. I’m a little offended that you would think you’re coming to the wrong place 😂.
Imma break it down for you.
BTW this post is long bc I wanted to cover all bases
First of all, if you’re on tumblr mobile, then that’s fantastic and we’ll start with that first. If you’re on desktop, I would like to suggest getting it on your phone because it’s more accessible and easier to manage than doing it on the computer. The only time I go to the computer is when I’m going to post fics, but we’ll get there.
I know you said you’re wondering how to start posting fics but I gotta give you some advice before that. Because there are just some things I cannot stand when it comes to some fanfic blogs, alright?
Be easy on your color scheme. I wouldn’t put any bright colors because it could hurt someone’s eyes, and sometimes it looks really bad. Going along with that, you should be careful what your second color is on your blog (let’s say that your base color was a maroon, and then you’d choose a color similar to that/darker than that. It’ll be hard to read the things in your bio, and it’s frustrating)
This is obvious, but make sure you have a profile and header picture, it’s more appealing rather than tumblrs default.
Turn ON asks and then proceed to do it for anonymous questions, because that’s the only way you get requests. Some people do it off anon but that’s not as common.
You can do this on desktop and a safari browser. It’s not possible to do on mobile just yet. Open up safari > log in > little person icon in the top right > edit appearance. Scroll until you see “let people as questions” turn that on. Turn on anon, and edit the box to whatever you want. Keep it short
Turn off “share posts you like” and the following one below it. It’s a risky game to play when it comes to what you’re looking at and liking.
No submission posts, normally people don’t submit things anyway. Turn OFF “on blog advertising” and then that’s it. It automatically saves so you can just leave to the next screen imma bout to tell you about
IF you go to my blog on desktop, you’ll see that there’s a theme. My font is different, I have a different set up than most blogs, etc.
If you wanna mess around with that, scroll to the top of page (you should still be on the same page from the anon instructions) and tap “edit theme”
It might take a second to load, but you’ll get there.
THIS SCREEN IS VERY IMPORTANT.
Besides the fact that it lets you edit your theme, this is how you put in a Masterlist, and all other links you might want in your bio.
You said you haven’t written anything yet, so there isn’t a need for a Masterlist just yet. But when you DO start posting, please come back to me and I’ll let you know how to put one in your bio, okay? Nice and shiny for your future followers.
If you wanna change your theme go to browse themes, change it from “all themes” to “free themes”. If you like mine, it’s called “Accesible”. If you just want the font, get out of the theme screen and scroll the screen on the left. Turn ON “open dyslexic
Remember, you can do all of this on desktop too, it doesn’t have to be on safari
Now onto posting, I have some opinions that might offend my mutuals (oopsie)
I can’t tell the difference, but PERSONALLY, I think posting fics on tumblr from my phone is gross. But that’s also because I’m writing 1000+ words normally and it gets difficult to post
If you want to post fics with more than 100 paragraphs, then you have to go to desktop or maybe safari tumblr (I don’t post from safari tumblr so idk if it works) because tumblr says NO paragraphs after 100 on mobile. There is no restriction on computer
I write in Google Docs, because it’s neater and I’ve discovered some hate for Word after deleting some of the shit I wrote over and over. Plus it’s an app, and you can open it up on computer. Easy to use.
If you use Notes on your phone, or type directly onto a tumblr post, then that’s fine but you don’t know your word count and it’s a little difficult to navigate.
When it comes to formatting, I used to have it be really long. But I’ve narrowed it down to 3, sometimes 4 things.
Summary: this is where I put the request so the anon/person knows that it’s their request. (I copy n paste the entire request in the summary part, I don’t answer asks (requests) anymore because it’s easier to answer them after I posted).
Warnings: my permanent is swearing, and then I add on (what type) violence, murder, suic*de, gore, etc DEPENDING ON THE REQUEST
Word count: and I do this because I write long imagines sometimes and some people don’t want to sit through 5k words of boring shit
And the optional—Note: I put this if I thank someone for their patience on the request, if I say happy holidays or some shit like that. I don’t have notes on every post anymore because they just turn out being the same every time
Apart from that, give it a title (make it unique but not too long!) who it’s for and then copy and paste the fic in
I’m using my own posts as an example right here, okay. But I have the summary and all of that bolder because it’s easier to see, and I want it to be different from the actual post. Most fanfic writers do this.
I also put 2 —‘s between the authors note at the top and the fic to also make a difference there
Don’t have the entire fic italicized, it takes away the special part of italicizing a word
Finally, it’s tagging.
I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT tag things that have nothing to do with the post. It’s my biggest pet peeve and it’s because I can’t comprehend why people tag (for example) Katrina Stuart when it’s a fic OR A RANDOM POST about someone else
Instead, let’s keep it simple.
🌸 STOP 🌸
I forgot to mention this. But choose your username wisely. You can change it later on, but it’s a goddamn pain in the ass when you have 50+ fanfics you wrote and your Masterlist is nice and clean only to realize that you have to RELINK every post individually
Listen, I changed my username on my old blog, and it took me 8 hours ROUGHLY to relink and fix every individual Masterlist. I had to create new masterlists, with so many tabs open to fix it
Instead, change it before you start fics
If you wanna be a colby brock blog, I have a canon url (which means that it’s so fucking GOOD and I’m angry that i realized it was open only a month ago rather than when I created this account) and it’s colbysbrocks (it’s a plural canon url). And I have colbysecrets too. If you don’t like either of those, I have a couple of other ideas that I wrote down if you want them
🌸 okay continue 🌸
This is how you should tag:
(I’ll give an example after this)
Your username first, the person it’s about, the fandom (if it’s not Colby brock, then something like marvel, etc). Then the persons name, imagine, fanfic, x reader, and oneshot. Then if it was requested
EXAMPLE ONE:
Azurebrock, Colby brock, Colby brock imagine, Colby brock fanfic, Colby brock x reader, Colby brock oneshot, requested
Simple, right? You can even use this method for Wattpad too.
EXAMPLE TWO:
(This is Star Wars, im using my own username again)
Kylorenlovesyou, Kylo ren, Ben solo, kylo ren imagine, kylo ren fanfic, kylo ren x reader, kylo ren oneshot, Ben solo imagine, Ben solo fanfic, Ben solo x reader, Ben solo oneshot, Star Wars
Notice that I tagged both of his names. I do this because it draws more people in, and more people will be attracted to it (however, in the Star Wars fandom there’s a difference between Ben Solo and Kylo-Ren, so you would have to specify in the title Ex. Resistance (Ben Solo) or Struggle (Kylo-Ren). It would depend on which persona you’re using
This works for a couple of fandoms, like twilight and shit like that
EXAMPLE THREE:
(Final one, I just wanted to cover this base just in case)
If it’s a request for more than one person. Let’s say Colby Brock and Sam Golbach (like a Polyamorous relationship, if it’s just about a bunch of people, tag the people in it and don’t put the imagine, fanfic, x reader, oneshot after any of them, it doesn’t apply)
If it’s a poly relationship (or maybe more) then do everything you normally do for one person, and then just add on the second;
Azurebrock, Colby brock, Sam Golbach, Colby brock imagine, Sam Golbach imagine, etc
If you’re on desktop, I would suggest putting in a Read More (this goes BEFORE your fic but after the authors note, below the 2 —‘s). The way you do that is press enter, and hover over the new break in the fic.
Off to the right you’ll see a . . . Click that and then you have the read more. I would only suggest using this if there’s more than 500 words, so that if the fic is super long, it doesn’t take up the entire dash for the follower (it takes forever to scroll and it’s annoying
If you’re on mobile, it isn’t possible. Just post and you can go back and edit later if you have a computer
