History Repeats Itself

SPOILERS FOR MIGHTY NEIN ORIGINS: YASHA NYDOORIN

So we all remember THAT moment in “The Cathedral”, right? The moment that Yasha stabbed Beau in the chest with Skingorger thus drawing out a brutal gut punch of a reaction from everyone at the table, especially Ashley.

And then of course, the seven words that left everyone as stunned as the Laughing Hand just beforehand.

“It evokes imagery you’ve seen once before.”

Truly a traumatic moment, as everyone at the table immediately had flashbacks to how Mollymauk met his end by the steel of Lorenzo’s glaive.

…

Except…

Matt wasn’t referring to ONLY Molly when he said that.

Notice WHO he was looking at as he said those words, landing on Ashley.

Yeah.

He was saying that to Ashley… to Yasha.

Because it wasn’t Molly that Yasha had seen die in front of her.

It was Zuala. All along.

I’m almost to The Cathedral in my C2 rewatch and I’m not ready for the angst of that episode, it’s bad enough just watching it but knowing that Ashley said Yasha would have killed herself if she had killed Beau makes it so much worse. I also can’t wait to see it animated because it’s one of my favorite Beauyasha moments and starts the trend of Yasha generally saving her healing hands for Beau.

Vulpes Headcanons pertaining to my story Part 2:

So in my world if you’re familiar with this previous post Vulpes’s mom was a French/Italian immigrant. She integrated into a tribe at Fishlake, Utah. She is also radiation immune. Meaning my version of Vulpes along with his kids have radiation immunity like the Children of Atom.

Another thing is that Vulpes’s dad was one of the tribe leaders and was descendant of an unknown Psyker from the Cathedral.

However the ability this Psyker had skips a generation. Vulpes and his sister (Pricilla) doesn’t have the power but his kids (Maria and Lloyd) will.
