Can I request stuffy AU Nightmare Bonnie HCs?
Yes you can! Here you go :) Not fully proofread, sorry for mistakes.
Yandere! Stuffy AU! Nightmare Bonnie Concept
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Manipulation, Sadism, Violence, Demonic attachment, Possessive behavior, Marking, Forced companionship.
Tumblr media
Nightmare Bonnie is a lesser demon to Nightmare.
Which means his powers and control over dreams is still there... but it isn't as strong as Nightmare's
As this is the Stuffy AU he also has the ability to become a cute plush toy.
Such a small and harmless object... hiding such a dark and twisted truth.
There's a few ways you could meet the demon.
Perhaps you bought the odd purple bunny plush toy at a store.
Maybe he was a toy your parents had before.
Or maybe he just... showed up in your attic one day.
Somehow you manage to get the plush in your home.
The moment that purple bunny plush is in your home, the fun begins for Bonnie.
When you leave for work or school Bonnie swaps from plush form to his true form.
He memorizes your home layout and peaks around.
Bonnie can take in your character by looking at your decor and belongings.
The demon sniffs around with curiosity while looking through his newest victim's home.
Bonnie feeds off the fear you generate by tormenting your dreams.
By creating nightmares he can briefly chase you through them to feed.
Due to being a lesser demon, Bonnie can't manifest his full powers for awhile.
Even then he isn't as strong as Nightmare or Nightmare Fredbear.
It would probably be easier to get rid of him than those two bears.
Doesn't mean he'll allow it though.
I imagine until he's strong enough his true form is mostly invisible to you.
People who are attuned to seeing demonic presences can see him, but not you.
Not unless he has you in a nightmare at least.
You only see him as a plush toy.
One you strangely yearn to carry around.
Bonnie engorges himself on your fear until he grows stronger.
He torments you but soon develops an attachment to his victim.
Your fear tastes sweet, your expressions look cute.
Bonnie stalks you when you're not looking and feels giddy when others start to see him.
His demonic attachment grows in strength, soon allowing him to coax more fear out of you.
Late at night you begin to notice odd silhouettes in your home.
When the plush toy is out of your sight, it looks like there's a giant rabbit in your home.
Bonnie stays out of sight, now capable of appearing in your vision briefly.
Every nightmare you have involves Bonnie.
Most are sadistic chases, others are a twisted form of affection involving biting and scratching.
Since you only see Bonnie out of the corner of your eyes, anxiety pours off of you.
A delicious drink that feeds Bonnie as he grows in strength.
Despite your fear and anxiety, you hug onto that plush toy like it'll save you.
If only you knew that the plush toy you hold for comfort was harming you
You don't learn the truth until Bonnie gets strong enough to fully manifest.
Your fear is at an all time high when you see the plush toy next to you vibrate as you sit down.
You scamper off your seat when you see the plush toy grow into a monster full of teeth and claws.
It reminds you of the bunny you've been seeing.
Then it clicks....
You're dealing with a demon.
You've been dealing with a demon.
One that has grown strong due to your emotions.
The bunny doesn't stop grinning as you back away.
Oh you poor baby... scared of the big bad rabbit?
You should be.
Now he can take his games into the real world and feed off you more.
Normally Bonnie kills his prey by this point... but he likes you too much for that now.
Instead he'll make you his plaything.
Even when you get rid of the plush toy, he returns later.
He's always around you.
You reek of demon, people get a bad feeling about you.
They should.
Especially when Bonnie's following you around with eager bloodshot purple eyes.
Sometimes he nips and claws you to fuel his desires.
Sometimes he leaves you be.
Unless you can find someone to sever the demonic attachment Bonnie has with you...
You're going to be his forever.

Just a (sentient) Spring Bonnie fic that I was wanting to do for a while :) @maraariana01
Title: The Rabbit’s Sorrow
Description: Spring Bonnie remembered what they were supposed to do——entertain children and make them happy. Now, he deals with the consequences of the opposite.
TW: Character Death+Blood.
The yellow rabbit blinked. Scanning the area, they recognized that they were standing atop the stage in the diner. A man—Mr. Emily—was walking away.
He watched the man for a few seconds, before turning to his left. There, Fredbear stood patiently, messing with his purple bow tie.
Spring Bonnie knew what was going to happen—and they assumed that the bear knew, too. Mr. Emily and Mr. Afton had been talking about it for a while.
Before today, the yellow rabbit remembered performing—although, with those few times, it had been different. It hadn’t been when the diner was open.
Both Mr. Emily and Mr. Afton had their own children. They remembered him and Fredbear getting to meet them all, and perform. It was more of practice, the rabbit figured.
Today was going to be different, though. He and the bear knew that. Today, the diner was going to open up.
“Spring Bonnie?”
“Fredbear?”
The two animatronics stared at the other as they spoke in unison. The rabbit’s ears twitched. “Sorry, Fredbear.” He gave a tiny smile.
Fredbear held out a hand. “It’s alright, Spring Bonnie.” The bear assured. “Do you want to...?”
The rabbit’s ears twitched again, ever so slightly beginning to lower. Spring Bonnie sighed. “Are you... nervous? Even just a little?”
Shaking his head, Fredbear moved from his spot, and inched closer to the yellow rabbit. He placed a hand on their shoulder.
“No...” He began, “But, Spring, I’m sure that everything will be alright.” What’s the worst that could happen?
Staying silent, the yellow rabbit only nodded. They trusted their friend—he didn’t have a reason not to—the bear was probably right.
___
Shortly after being worn by Mr. Afton again—after he’d finished, Spring Bonnie found himself unable to remember anything after that. Had they been shut off?
Letting out a shaky breath—one that the rabbit didn’t need—Spring Bonnie slumped against the wall, ears twitching and lowering.
Spring Bonnie could remember their purpose very well—to make children happy. To entertain them. Fredbear had been made to do that, too. Of course he had.
Although, the yellow rabbit had quickly discovered that there were two different ways that he and Fredbear would get to be able to perform.
Animatronic Mode—what he was in right now—and Suit Mode. The yellow rabbit... didn’t like that last one very much. But it never seemed to bother Fredbear.
When in Suit Mode—usually being worn by Mr. Afton—Spring Bonnie always noticed how they could see and hear, but unable to do anything else—like control himself.
Despite that, the yellow rabbit had assumed—had hoped—that everything would be alright—that nothing bad would happen—whether they were in Suit Mode or not.
As Spring Bonnie stared down at his hands, stained red and yet to be clean, the yellow rabbit had a feeling that nothing would be alright. Not after that.
___
They’d messed with the door, but only once. The yellow rabbit hadn’t really been trying that hard to begin with. He didn’t want to leave when he looked how he did.
Either way, when he’d chosen to mess with the door nearly an hour ago, it hadn’t budged. It was locked, it seemed. Mr. Afton’s doing, the rabbit had assumed.
They knew the room well enough—it was where Mr. Afton had been deciding to keep him, and the yellow rabbit had gotten bored pretty quickly.
Spring Bonnie’s ears, already rather low, went down further, covering the yellow rabbit’s eyes. It only happened to be himself in the room, nobody else.
His memories, for some time now, had been... iffy. They couldn’t understand why. But, there were parts that weren’t coming to him at all, or seemed... blurred?
Spring Bonnie had to lift their ears up as he scanned the room. Where are you, Fredbear?
Placing a hand on the wall beside him, he used his other to pull an old box closer. Then, the yellow rabbit began to look through it—tossing things around.
Come on, come on... The yellow rabbit continued tossing things around. The box seemed to mostly contain plushies—merchandise—but nothing they wanted—needed.
Shaking, the yellow rabbit continued his search through the large box—maybe he missed something? He needed to get it all off!
Huffing, Spring Bonnie shoved the box away, some of the merchandise spilling out of it as they did so. The animatronic rabbit grabbed at their ears.
A quiet whimper escaped the animatronic. “W-Why did he have to...” They trailed off as their eyes spotted the wall beside himself.
It was his handprint—the wall was stained, too, with the yellow rabbit’s bloody hand. Spring Bonnie flinched, letting go of their ears, which lowered once more.
He could notice how both of his ears were red now, too.
___
The yellow rabbit’s ears twitched at a sudden sound, breaking the silence that had lasted for nearly half an hour. He only looked for a second, before his gaze fell back to the ground.
The source of the noise was Mr. Afton, finally returning, and Spring Bonnie had felt himself tense. Mr. Afton seemed to be holding something.
Spring Bonnie could hear the door shut again, followed by footsteps approaching, but they didn’t look up. They didn’t say anything, either.
He didn’t even know what to say after what had happened. The animatronic didn’t know what to do. Was there anything that he could? He hadn’t been able to prevent anything.
For a moment, the yellow rabbit’s gaze drifted down to one of his hands. They wondered if there was something that they could do to Mr. Afton. He was close enough.
Just as quickly as they had started to raise a hand, considering getting up on their feet, the yellow rabbit had, just as quickly, stopped.
Letting out an unnecessary sigh, Spring Bonnie’s ears twitched at the familiar voice of Mr. Afton. He sounded annoyed. “Made more of a mess, I see...”
The animatronic just remained still, shutting his eyes.
___
From where the both of them stood, Spring Bonnie could spot a little girl with blonde hair. She seemed to be in the middle of playing one of the games.
But... she looked sad. The rabbit could understand that. And he wished that there was something that he could do for her. He thought he was good at comforting.
There had been sad or distressed children at the diner before. Both the rabbit and the bear usually tried to help—they thought Fredbear was the best at it.
Mr. Emily always tried helping out with a lot, too—whether just as himself, or when he was in the bear—when the animatronic happened to be in Suit Mode.
Spring Bonnie couldn’t recall a time where Mr. Afton ever really did much—it didn’t seem like he was that good of a comforter, compared to Mr. Emily.
A quiet chuckle escaped—yet it didn’t belong to the animatronic—it had been Mr. Afton. Controlling the suit, the two of them began approaching the young girl.
Spring Bonnie knew what was going to happen. They knew what Mr. Afton was going to do. He had mentioned it—and he had seemed so... happy.
If it were possible, they wanted to stop this—if it were possible, they wanted to help the girl. But it wasn’t. As long as Mr. Afton had him in Suit Mode...
Spring Bonnie took a quick look around, and realized that the two of them had moved. How had he not realized? Looking down, he saw the girl.
“He’s not really dead...” Mr. Afton spoke up, alerting the young girl of the presence behind her. She turned away from the game, sniffling.
The yellow rabbit noticed how he was doing some sort of voice, yet it wasn’t the first time. Mr. Afton never seemed to use his real voice when wearing them.
Wiping at her eyes, the girl stared up. “H-Huh...?”
If it were possible, Spring Bonnie would have frowned. The girl’s dog... he’d heard Mr. Afton say something about it.
Please, don’t listen to him! The yellow rabbit tried to get the words out, he wanted to warn her, but unfortunately, they remained thoughts.
“He is over here,” Mr. Afton continued. Not taking his eyes off of her, he pointed in the direction of another room—Spring Bonnie knew that it was only for employees.
He’d never seen it before, but, other children had been rather curious about the room—even trying to use it as a hiding spot for hide and seek.
“Follow me...”
Don’t listen! Please, don’t! He’s not there! The rabbit’s voice remained unheard.
Mr. Afton had crouched down—Spring Bonnie had crouched down—getting more to the girl’s level. A yellow paw was held out in front of her now.
The girl stared, before a smile started to spread, and she took hold of it. No!
“What’s your name?”
“S... Susie.”
“Well... let’s get you to your puppy, Susie.”
___
Spring Bonnie had assumed that there was only one box in the room—and he’d already looked around in it earlier. What he wanted hadn’t been in there.
However, as the yellow rabbit paced around, they tripped over something—managing to grab the table nearby, so that he didn’t fall.
Ow. Carefully letting go of the table, the yellow rabbit looked down, and spotted a box. It wasn’t the same one as before, though. He could tell that.
The original box had been surprisingly small, and was white. He’d left it in another part of the room, anyways.
This one, however, was a bit larger, and was a dark brown. It didn’t seem like it had been opened yet—at least by the yellow rabbit.
Ears twitching, Spring Bonnie lowered himself, staring at the box. He messed around with the tape that was on it for a couple of seconds.
Once the tape was off—but partially on their hand, and as the rabbit tried to get it off and on the ground, they opened the box with the tape less hand.
Peering into the box, there didn’t seem to be too much inside of it—at least compared to the other one, that had contained quite a lot of merchandise.
The rabbit’s ears shot up upon spotting something. Something familiar. He hurriedly began moving the other items in the box, so that he could reach it easier.
Carefully, the yellow rabbit pulled out a purple hat. Spring Bonnie knew that there were other hats—including others with the same color. There wasn’t ever just one.
There was never just one of anything—including the rabbit himself. He’d seen other suits before—in the parts and service area once—and the employees only room.
It was... strange.
Despite that, Spring Bonnie knew. They knew who the hat belonged to—he knew that it was the right one—it belonged to his friend. It was easy to recognize.
Ears slowly lowering, the rabbit held the purple hat close to their chest.
___
The two of them were wandering. Mr. Afton had chosen to be more out in the open this time—rather than simply watching from the corner, like before.
During that process, it seemed like he had rather quickly spotted someone—that he had chosen who would be next.
A young boy was up ahead at one of the tables—it wasn’t his first time being here, Mr. Afton knew. He grinned behind the yellow rabbit’s mask.
If the man wasn’t stopped, then it would be the boy’s last time, Spring Bonnie realized.
He didn’t know what he could do—he didn’t want the same thing to happen. They hadn’t been able to stop Mr. Afton from taking the young girl—Susie.
She’d looked so... terrified. She sounded so terrified.
Given that the boy had a plushie of the animatronic—which was across the table at the moment—and he was talking about him—Spring Bonnie assumed that the boy liked Foxy.
The yellow rabbit wasn’t very surprised—who wouldn’t like a pirate fox? A lot of other children seemed to like him, from what they’d heard.
A woman sitting beside the boy, who the rabbit had to guess was his mother, began to stand up. “Fritz?” She spoke gently.
The boy, Fritz, looked up at her. “Hm?”
“I’ll be back in a minute, alright? I’m just going to do to the restroom.”
Fritz nodded. He turned away from his mother as she began walking away, reaching to take another bite from a slice of pizza.
When he felt himself beginning to walk again—or, rather, Mr. Afton, the rabbit attempted to come to a stop. However, the yellow rabbit continued. Mr. Afton, stop!
Before anything was said, Fritz seemed to hear the footsteps, and turned, dropping his pizza back onto the plate. He waved.
The yellow rabbit waved back. “Hello, kiddo!”
Fritz waved again, smiling. Although the boy didn’t say anything, remaining silent.
“Do you like Foxy, kiddo?”
Fritz’s smile was quick to grow, and he immediately nodded. Oh...
He’s... he’s bad! Fritz, don’t listen to him! Don’t listen to Mr. Afton! The yellow rabbit wished that the words would actually come out—that they would be heard.
They hadn’t been heard earlier with Susie—he was never heard when he was in Suit Mode—unless it was Mr. Afton. Mr. Afton shouldn’t be heard right now.
“You know,” Mr Afton continued, his own grin growing. “Foxy wanted to see you!”
Staring with widened eyes now, Fritz pointed at himself, raising an eyebrow. No, no no, no...
The yellow rabbit nodded his head. “He needs help! Your help!”
Upon hearing that, Fritz immediately got out of his chair. He looked around for a second, before back up at the rabbit.
The yellow rabbit held out a large yellow paw in front of the boy. “Follow me, kiddo! Let’s go help Foxy!”
Fritz reached forward, taking hold of the animatronic’s fuzzy paw.
___
Spring Bonnie sat at the edge of a small table in the room, feet slowly swinging, as Fredbear’s hat remained close to his chest. They didn’t plan on letting it go.
I should have tried harder. The yellow rabbit’s grip on the hat tightened, and his ears remained lowered. I could have stopped him..
But they hadn’t. Despite wanting to, they hadn’t been able to prevent what had happened. Those kids were gone—and he had been apart of it.
They’d trusted him. They’d trusted Spring Bonnie. Not the man wearing and using the rabbit in the moment. Not the man using him to take their lives away.
While their memory hadn’t been the best for a while—even with far more recent moments—Spring Bonnie could remember all of the kids. They could remember their voices—screams...
They remembered each of the kids being so terrified. There was confusion at first—at Foxy not being there, or a puppy not being there, or...
Confusion—shortly followed by becoming frightened. Or, confusion, followed by bits of excitement—figuring something was hidden—and then fright.
“Did they... did they think I wanted to...?” The yellow rabbit wondered aloud, voice barely above a whisper.
It was a rather distressing thought. It was something they’d never wanted to do—they didn’t dream of ever harming a child. Why would they ever want to?
He’d seen Fritz’s before she left for a moment—the rabbit had seen all of the children’s loved ones. Nobody had been aware what was going to happen. How would they know?
The animatronic hadn’t really seen any of them after that. He couldn’t tell when it had happened—how long had it been already? How were the parents?
Were they trying to find their children? If a search was happening, how long had it been going on for? It had felt like yesterday when Mr. Afton had used him for that.
However, the animatronic rabbit had a feeling that it had been a little longer than that. Everything felt rather slow, though.
How were the parents handling everything? None of them knew what had truly happened—the truth. Did they have hope that their children would be found? Found alive?
What was going to happen if everything was figured out? How would they handle it all? I’m sorry..
When Mr. Afton had been using him, Spring Bonnie had thought back to his springlocks. For a moment, he thought that he could take back control—maybe use his springlocks to stop the man.
But... they knew everything about their springlocks. In the past, there had been some accidents. A few times when in Animatronic Mode, and once, way earlier, with Mr. Afton inside.
Unlike the previous moments, it hadn’t been caused by water—he couldn’t remember what exactly had been the cause, though. Maybe Mr. Afton had done something wrong?
Despite wanting to stop the man, the yellow rabbit hadn’t wanted to hurt him—they didn’t want to hurt anyone. So, attempting to use those had been crossed out.
They didn’t like the springlocks very much.
___
The yellow rabbit’s ears twitched at the new noise. It wasn’t much of a good one—crying, Spring Bonnie realized. Didn’t that mean someone was sad? What was wrong?
It sounded like a child. While the Diner wasn’t open yet today, the rabbit knew that Mr. Emily and Mr. Afton were here. The two’s children were usually brought here with them.
Charlotte—Mr. Emily’s daughter, was rather sweet. Spring Bonnie remembered a time where she had given him and Fredbear some drawings.
There was Michael, Mr. Afton’s eldest—the boy aways had a Foxy mask with him. Spring Bonnie had taken notice to three other boys a few times—they had their own masks, too.
With how the crying sounded, the animatronic doubted that it could be Michael, though. He didn’t recall him being brought here today, either.
Then, there was Mr. Afton’s younger children—Elizabeth and Evan. The younger boy always seemed nervous about Fredbear—but he carried around a plushie.
“Fred?”
The yellow bear looked up from the ground, and towards the yellow rabbit, his own ears twitching. “Are you hearing that, too?”
Spring Bonnie nodded. As he started to get off of the little stage, the rabbit glanced back at his friend. “Let’s go. Maybe we can help them?”
Fredbear let out a quiet hum in response. He set his microphone down, and hopped off of the stage—stumbling for a moment, but he didn’t fall.
Remaining by each other’s side, the animatronics began to wander, trying to find where the crying was coming from—and the source.
Fredbear came to a sudden stop, and tapped Spring Bonnie on the shoulder. The rabbit turned their head to look at the bear. “Hm?”
The animatronic bear pointed, and Spring Bonnie followed along. He was pointing at a room towards the right. It wasn’t too far from their stage.
The door was closed, and while muffled, the crying was closer. Spring Bonnie couldn’t remember where the door led to—or what the room was used for.
“Hello?” The rabbit gently called out. He moved towards it, Fredbear following behind him. While there wasn’t an answer, Spring Bonnie opened it.
In the corner of the room, he spotted the source of the noise. It was Mr. Afton’s youngest son, Evan. He held a plushie close to him tightly.
“Hey...” That caught the child’s attention—looking up at them after a second with watery eyes. He scooted back ever so slightly.
Slowly, Spring Bonnie took a step inside. He glanced back for a moment, only to find Fredbear partially hiding himself. His ears twitched.
“I know how he feels,” The bear whispered, “He doesn’t need to see me right now. I don’t want to make him more stressed, Spring.”
Humming, Spring Bonnie turned back around, focusing on the young boy. He took slow steps, before kneeling down. He tried not to be too close—he wanted to give him enough space.
“Hey, buddy... what’s wrong?”
The boy just sniffled in response. He opened his mouth for a second, seemingly to say something, but all that came out was a cry.
The rabbit knew of his springlocks—what could happen—and how they were typically set off. The rabbit knew what typically caused him to malfunction. But, they could try to be careful.
Spring Bonnie spread his arms. “Hey, kiddo... want to come here? It’s okay.”
Evan stared at the yellow rabbit in front of him, wiping at his eyes with one hand—while the other kept a grip on the Fredbear plushie.
A few seconds passed, and the young boy started to make his way over to where the yellow rabbit was. He fully sat down, instead of being crouched.
Sniffling, Evan hugged the fuzzy rabbit, and Spring Bonnie carefully wrapped his arms around him. “It’s alright...”
___
Spring Bonnie hadn’t been able to help it—they’d just felt rather curious. They’d looked out through the window a couple of times, but had never gone out.
They’d always wanted to go out, even if it was for just a few minutes or so. There wasn’t really anything that he wanted to do—he just wanted to be out there.
He remembered speaking to Fredbear about it once or twice. And while his friend seemed a little curious, he never seemed to want to actively go out.
After going through the front doors, Spring Bonnie simply stood there, staring up at the sky. He could see things flying above him—birds, if he remembered right?
Looking at the sky, there were a lot of clouds up there today. There wasn’t much blue that they could see through those—or the sun.
Drip. Spring Bonnie’s ears twitched, and then they looked around for a second. Yet, they didn’t see anything that could have been the source of that.
Drip. Drip. Drip. They looked around further. For a second, Spring Bonnie thought that he saw something hit the ground near him.
“Spring?” While somewhat distant, they could still recognize Fredbear’s voice from inside the Diner. He was finally active, it seemed.
Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. As the yellow rabbit turned to look back towards the doors, he flinched at the sudden feeling of something hitting him.
It wasn’t hard or anything—but... rather weird. Something wet? Wet—it made them feel weird... and a little bad. Not good. What was it?
Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip.
The feeling wasn’t good. Spring Bonnie began to back up as it continued—was it getting worse? They could feel themselves beginning to twitch—shake. Their vision was... glitching?
The yellow rabbit shuddered at a sudden feeling of... pain? Pain? Through his glitching vision, he looked up—the wet stuff was coming from the sky.
Spring Bonnie felt himself start to fall back.
~
“Spring?”
Fredbear? The yellow rabbit felt his ears twitch. Why did he sound so... concerned? “Spring Bonnie?”
Starting to see again—which, thankfully, their vision didn’t seem so... weird, like earlier, Spring Bonnie started to look around.
He wasn’t outside any longer. He was back inside the Diner—in the room that was used for repairs—and also happened to contain other suits.
To their right, Fredbear sat. His ears were lowered, and with one hand, he held one of the yellow rabbit’s.
“Fredbear?”
“Spring Bonnie,” The yellow rabbit turned away from his friend at the other voice—Mr. Emily’s. He was standing in front of the two.
“What were you doing outside?”
“I just... it looked nice. It was nice.” The yellow rabbit answered after a moment, moving closer to the yellow bear.
“Fredbear told me he saw you out there when he activated. He saw you collapse, and came to me, all panicked.” Mr. Emily explained.
Spring Bonnie glanced back at his friend—if it were possible, the rabbit would have frowned—both of them would have. “Something hit me...”
“It’s raining outside.” Mr. Emily answered.
“Raining?” The yellow rabbit’s ears twitched. “Why did that... why’d it cause me to do that?”
“Well,” The man started.
___
The last time he’d seen the children... Spring Bonnie couldn’t entirely recall. Evan... the boy was going to have a birthday. It was going to happen at the Diner.
No. Spring Bonnie shook their head. They messed with Fredbear’s hat, before placing it atop their head. With their ears lowered, it wasn’t much of a problem.
It already happened. His birthday happened. The yellow rabbit could remember discussions of it here and there—and then the events... mostly.
Misty. Foggy. Blocked. That’s what he’d taken to referring to his iffy memories. It was the best thing that the yellow rabbit could come up with.
He remembered Mr. Afton arriving at the diner that day—Evan close behind him, holding the Fredbear plushie close like usual. He’d seemed more nervous than usual.
Michael had arrived a little later—wearing his Foxy mask, like usual. They could remember the teenager’s friends with him—each with a different mask.
The yellow rabbit could recall everything up until Evan, Michael, and the teen’s friends started to make their way towards the stage.
He didn’t understand why Evan was always messed with—were siblings always like that? The yellow rabbit wouldn’t know. He didn’t have one.
Mr. Afton and Mr. Emily’s children... Spring Bonnie hoped that they were alright. They hadn’t seen any of them in some time. Do they know?
Are they alright? Spring Bonnie shifted around slightly, staring towards the door for a moment, before down at their hands. Did he do anything?
___
A boy, just a little older than Susie and Fritz by the looks of it, was wandering around—almost seeming a little lost. Mr. Afton...
Just like the previous times, as the two of them made their way to the boy, the yellow rabbit’s attempts weren’t doing anything.
Springlocks... He heard pop up within his mind. The yellow rabbit knew how they worked—but he himself had never activated those willingly.
Every other time it had happened—so far, they’d counted four, it had been on accident for one reason or another. Mostly water.
The springlocks hurt. Hurt him—and Mr. Afton. He’d been in Suit Mode the time the last accident occurred—and the man had been wearing him.
Spring Bonnie wanted to stop him. He did. But to hurt him? Hurt anyone purposely? Even with what the man was doing, he didn’t want to hurt him—or worse.
Even if the yellow rabbit chose to go through with that idea, he didn’t know how to activate the springlocks by himself—he couldn’t do anything right now.
“What’s the matter, kiddo?”
The boy looked up, frowning. “I... didn’t mean to get separated from her. There’s just... a lot of people here, and...” He trailed off.
“Your mother?”
The young boy nodded.
Mr. Afton clapped his—the yellow rabbit’s—hands together. “Oh, dear...” He hummed. “Well, kiddo, I’ve got some good news!”
Without waiting for a response from the boy, he continued. “I know where your mother is! She’s worried sick.”
“She is?” His frown grew.
As he nodded, the boy spoke up again. “Can... can you take me to her, please? I don’t want to let her keep worrying...”
“Why, of course!” Mr. Afton hummed. He reached down, carefully picking up the kid. The boy was a bit surprised, but was rather relaxed.
As the three of them began walking away, Mr. Afton glanced back at the kid in his arms. “What’s your name?”
“Gabriel.”
___
Looking around... this didn’t seem like the same place, Spring Bonnie realized. Where he’d been in before, it was much smaller, and there were a few boxes and a table.
This was different, though. This room was somewhat bigger, and there wasn’t much in there except for three gray arcade machines.
What? Ears twitching, Spring Bonnie looked around further, yet there really didn’t seem to be much else. The room seemed rather old, too.
What am I doing here? Slowly, the yellow rabbit began to rise. Who had moved them? Had Mr. Afton come by and done so for whatever reason?
He didn’t remember the man coming by recently. But then again, the rabbit’s memories still hadn’t been great.
Thinking back, everything was starting to get misty—foggy—just like the memories that were further back. But it wasn’t like they weren’t accessible.
Everything felt like it was starting to get... mashed together. As he spent time in that room, it all, frankly, felt the same.
As the yellow rabbit stood to their full height, ears continuing to twitch, they felt as if... something was missing? But what?
Spring Bonnie lifted a hand to rest atop his head, and that was when it hit the rabbit hard. The rabbit’s eyes widened.
“His hat!” Spring Bonnie shouted aloud, ears shooting straight up. They thought they heard a sort of static in their voice—but that was the least of the animatronic’s worries.
Spring Bonnie knew that he’d been keeping Fredbear’s hat on him. It was either in the rabbit’s hands, or atop his head, in between his ears.
“Where...?” That time, the rabbit could hear the static far more clearly. Spring Bonnie moved away from where he’d been, and began wandering.
Drip. Drip. His ears twitched at the noise, but the rabbit didn’t pay much attention. He took a little mental note to try and be careful.
They hadn’t planned on leaving it—was it hidden somewhere in this room? Had it fallen off when they were being moved? Was it still in the other room?
Where was that other place? Why had they been moved?
___
Struggling, they began moving the last arcade machine back to its original spot. Just like the last two, there wasn’t anything—not the hat.
The yellow rabbit lifted their head, no longer staring down at the ground. They froze, staring at their hands that rested against the arcade machine.
Spring Bonnie had sworn that they were fine—that his hands had been clean. However, staring at them now, both were stained. They were red. There was blood.
The yellow rabbit stumbled backwards, his stained hands—his body—beginning to shake. “N-No... no...”
The animatronic kept going backwards in his panic—at least until he felt himself hit the wall behind him. There, the yellow rabbit stood, shaking.
They shut their eyes tightly, a whimper escaping the rabbit. Spring Bonnie slid down, sitting in the old, lonely room.
He’d never liked anything being this quiet. The only noises from within the room were the rabbit’s own noises, and an occasional drip.
When Spring Bonnie reopened his eyes a moment later, not bothering to move his ears, a wave of confusion—yet at the same time, relief, hit the rabbit.
Staring down at their hands, they were... clean. There was nothing—there was no blood—on them any longer.
___
Spring Bonnie remained silent—no longer trying to speak. Despite their attempts, nothing had been working. He wasn’t able to warn anyone.
Mr. Afton was simply continuing, and all the yellow rabbit was able to do was watch. Has he always wanted to do this...?
The two of them began approaching another child. He’d just gotten something—although Spring Bonnie couldn’t tell what—as a prize. It looked like a plushie.
Leaving that area, he began walking off—seemingly towards where some of the games were. I thought he was good... nice...
Using the yellow rabbit’s arm, Mr. Afton moved the big ears—which had been lowered, blocking his sight. He moved them back up.
Both of them knew the kid’s name. Spring Bonnie thought that he heard a woman’s voice say “Jeremy.” He couldn’t see where the boy’s parents could be.
They’d been hoping that someone would see the two of them—that they’d see Mr. Afton—that someone would take Jeremy away. Maybe because it was time for him to go home.
Yet, that wasn’t happening. Nobody was preventing the terrible events. Spring Bonnie couldn’t—the children’s parents weren’t ever close by. Gabriel had even been lost—separated.
As the two of them stopped next to Jeremy, Spring Bonnie glanced towards the game for a moment. All of them seemed rather fun—but they’d never gotten the chance to play any.
It seemed like a lot of children liked one that he’d seen earlier—the one Susie had been playing before Mr. Afton came around. Although, he didn’t know the name.
Jeremy was staring up at the two of them—at the yellow rabbit. “Hey, kid.”
“Yes?”
“I’ve got a big surprise for you!” Mr. Afton began, chuckling. “Let’s just say that it might involve some cake—some special treats—and certain blue bunny!”
“Oops!” Mr. Afton placed a hand over the yellow rabbit’s permanently grinning mouth. “I think I just ruined the surprise... didn’t I?”
Completely forgetting about the game, Jeremy moved closer, shaking his head. He reached forward, grabbing the yellow rabbit’s other hand.
“No, no! It’s alright, Spring Bonnie.” Jeremy answered. It isn’t me...
“Come on, let’s go!”
He chuckled, then nodded, removing his hand. “Alright!”
___
As the rabbit laid there, having not moved for some time—what was the time?—how much time has gone by already... even more?—he began to think further.
Drip. Drip. Drip. The yellow rabbit barely paid much attention to it—it wasn’t near him, anyways. However, it did seem to be happening in more areas.
What if they had been able to do something? Anything? Was there anything that the yellow rabbit could have done to prevent what Mr. Afton had done?
What if he had, somehow, managed to control himself? Get himself back into Animatronic Mode, not Suit Mode. What if he had been able to say something?
If they had ever been able to do anything, then the children would be alright—they’d be perfectly okay. He wouldn’t have been used to harm them. Mr. Afton wouldn’t have been able to do it.
The parents wouldn’t have lost their children—they’d all still have them. They wouldn’t need to be scared or worried—none of them would be needing to grieve.
Maybe the rabbit should have tried harder.
Drip. Drip.
___
“Hello!” The yellow rabbit tiredly stared down—fully seeing once Mr. Afton moved their ears again. He seemed just a little annoyed about that.
In front of the two of them, he saw another kid—how many had Mr. Afton lured already? What number was she going to be? The rabbit hadn’t been counting.
The girl had long black hair—long enough that it was, currently, held together in a ponytail. Compared to the other children Spring Bonnie had seen, she seemed somewhat older.
They were all still young, though. They were all still just children. Children that didn’t deserve this. Any of it.
Like Jeremy, Spring Bonnie thought that he had caught her name earlier—although, he couldn’t fully remember it. It had started with a C.
The black-haired girl stared up, backing up slightly. Yet she didn’t leave. Please do... you need to...
Spring Bonnie dived into his mind—thinking back to previous moments. Better moments. He thought he could still hear the two of them—Mr. Afton and the girl.
They didn’t want to hear him. They didn’t want to hear what he was saying. They didn’t want to hear panic—the screams. Why is this happening...?
Why did it have to be happening at all? What did the children do to deserve this? Spring Bonnie had a feeling that the answer was nothing. They didn’t do anything for this.
The children were innocent, Spring Bonnie knew that. They were here at the restaurant for one reason or another—the place was supposed to bring joy, he knew that, too.
Spring Bonnie didn’t want to be used for this. This new purpose that Mr. Afton had chosen to use him for. Does he enjoy this? Why?
The yellow rabbit snapped back to his surroundings when he felt his hand move. Looking down, it was being held out for the girl.
“Come along, Cassidy.”
The girl—Cassidy, stood there for a moment, staring at the fuzzy hand. Spring Bonnie hadn’t been listening, but he wondered what Mr. Afton had told her.
They’d been listening when Mr. Afton had spoken to the other children. Maybe to see one of the others? They wished they could frown.
Cassidy reached over, taking hold of the yellow rabbit’s hand. Mr. Afton held it tightly, so that she wouldn’t be able to run off.
“You’ll love it!” He chuckled.
___
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Drip. Drip.
Spring Bonnie groggily stared in the direction of where a new noise was coming from. It was something he’d heard before, but hadn’t heard it in some time.
Footsteps. Someone was here—wherever ‘here’ was. They’d never left the room. They couldn’t. Who...?
He didn’t have to wonder for long. A few moments later, a man burst into the room—he looked rather panicked. In his left hand was an axe, which was promptly tossed aside.
The man looked... a little different at least, but was still rather recognizable—at least to Spring Bonnie. Mr. Afton...?
Drip.
Drip.
The yellow rabbit had assumed that it was only him—but if he was running, and seemed scared...
Spring Bonnie stared, startled, when five small figures appeared behind Mr. Afton. They were all rather short—somewhat see-through, and each had masks.
One had a Chica mask, the one across from her had a Foxy mask—then a Bonnie mask, and a Freddy mask. Then, one had a yellow Freddy mask.
It sort of reminded Spring Bonnie of Fredbear—but with the hat, it was black. Black tears were spilling from the eye holes of the mask.
The yellow rabbit kept staring. They knew those figures. They recognized those ghosts. They were all something that the animatronic wouldn’t forget.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
The children...? Spring Bonnie had heard of ghosts—they were something that he somewhat believed in, but had never imagined seeing.
The ghost with the Golden Freddy mask—which Spring Bonnie had to assume was Cassidy—he remembered her hair—began approaching Mr. Afton.
The other ghost’s simply remained where they had first appeared, watching the two of them. What is she going to do? She seemed angry.
“Stay away!” Mr. Afton, as he backed away from the approaching ghost girl, began looking around in a panic.
The yellow rabbit would have frowned when they realized that Mr. Afton had spotted them. He was grinning now as he hurried over.
Drip.
In an instant, Mr. Afton was by the animatronic’s side, and hurriedly began putting Spring Bonnie on. The children watched, glancing at each other.
Drip.
Mr. Afton, wearing the yellow rabbit, took a few small steps towards the group of ghosts. Spring Bonnie heard a noise from the man—laughter.
The ghosts glared, yet none of them got any closer. They stared at the two—but seemed to be watching something else.
Drip.
Spring Bonnie heard it. They hadn’t been focusing on it much—it hadn’t ever hit them while they were stuck in the room yet. They knew what it was, though.
Water. It had been doing that quite often. His best guess was that it was raining, and because of some holes, it was free to come inside.
The yellow rabbit... started to have a feeling on what was about to happen. It felt obvious.
Drip.
Spring Bonnie felt anxious. The last times it had happened, it had never been good—it had hurt. Usually only himself—but then Mr. Afton had a springlock failure once.
It had hurt them both.
Drip.
He felt himself go tense—the rabbit could hear Mr. Afton’s laughter quickly come to a halt. The water had finally started hitting him.
Drip.
Mr. Afton was going to go through another. Spring Bonnie was going to have another. His previous one involved the man—and so was this one.
He’d felt horrible the previous time—he hated seeing Mr. Afton in pain—he hated hearing Mr. Emily panic—he hated hearing the screams.
Drip.
Drip.
The screaming... speaking of which, it had started again. Spring Bonnie wanted to do it, too. But he couldn’t. He remained silent. It was all he could do.
Just like how he had done with the children, the yellow rabbit tried to block out the man’s screaming. The children’s had been worse.
He remembered most of them begging—begging for the rabbit to stop. He remembered them being confused. Sad. Scared.
Drip.
Spring Bonnie didn’t dare look around at himself. He could feel Mr. Afton’s blood beginning to pour through parts of his suit. He didn’t want to see it.
Even if they looked, the rabbit had a feeling that they wouldn’t see a lot for too much longer—they weren’t feeling good. Their vision was getting bad.
Drip.
In the corner of the room, the children remained, all watching. What do they think...? The yellow rabbit found himself wondering.
Drip.
The children kept watching—none saying a single thing. Did they ever think that I wanted to...? What do they think now...?
Drip.
As Spring Bonnie felt himself and Mr. Afton collapse onto the ground, the yellow rabbit realized that he didn’t hear any screaming.
Yet, despite that, the yellow rabbit knew that Mr. Afton was still alive—for now, at least. They knew how long it would be. It wasn’t something instant.
Drip.
When Mr. Afton had gone through the springlocking years ago, Mr. Emily had been there to help him—the man had been sent to a hospital.
The man had gotten help.
This time was different. Of course it was. It was going to stay that way. The man wasn’t going to get help.
Drip.
From where Spring Bonnie lay, he could see the children suddenly disappear from the room—leaving only him and Mr. Afton.
Drip.
Spring Bonnie knew that this was going to be different. Mr. Afton wasn’t going to get help—did anyone know that the man was in this place? Did anyone know what he did?
The yellow rabbit himself wasn’t going to get help, either. The only person that had ever seen him more recently was Mr. Afton.
Did anyone know where either of them were? What’s going to happen?
Drip.
Where’d Fredbear ever go? The yellow rabbit wondered.
Drip.
Is he okay? Will he be okay? Spring Bonnie felt Mr. Afton twitch. A noise escaped him—but it wasn’t much of a scream.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
The yellow rabbit was feeling worse—they knew what was going to happen shortly—and nobody would fix them. He tried not to feel that scared.
I wish I could see him again... A noise escaped again—but Spring Bonnie didn’t think that it was from Mr. Afton. What would he think...?
Drip.
Spring Bonnie had never wanted to harm Mr. Afton—having shoved the springlock idea away rather quickly. But... a part of the rabbit felt... relieved. Happy.
Maybe this was the best option...? The animatronic wondered. He didn’t know what else could be done. Am I bad for feeling that? Thinking this?
Drip.
Drip.
As everything faded—the yellow rabbit feeling himself disappear—shut off—one last thought presented itself. He would’ve smiled wider if he could.
Mr. Afton won’t be able to harm anyone again...

Just an average Tuesday
On an average Tuesday, William Afton sat at his desk, working on the springlock suit designs.
Or, well. It wasn’t exactly average. It was Evan’s birthday today. William would have attended, but ever since that accident with one of the suits, he’d thrown himself into his work. He wanted to be absolutely certain the locks wouldn’t fail on him again, or heaven forbid, Henry. So he worked.
He had implanted a little device on his son’s favorite toy, a Fredbear plush, to keep track of him. He sometimes forgot to change the batteries, but today he made sure he was paying attention. William did feel bad about missing it, but he was always busy.
Suddenly, he heard someone talking, loud enough to be heard through the device over the typical party chatter. “Hey guys, I think the little man wants to get a better look at Fredbear,” He heard his eldest son Michael say. William frowned as he heard the small child’s frantic pleas. He rose from his office chair. He was going to put a stop to this.
He walked quickly through the back rooms of Fredbear’s Family Diner. Evan’s cries played through the device. “What did you say, little bro?” Michael mocked, his tone sharp and cruel. “He said he wants to give Fredbear a big kiss!” William was almost running. “Okay. On three. One…” The man could see the door out to the main area. He rushed forward. “Two…” The door was getting closer, and William tried to get there in time. “Three!”
He threw the door open just as Fredbear’s jaws clamped down on his youngest child’s skull.
It was as if time itself stopped.
He couldn’t think.
He couldn’t move.
He couldn’t breathe.
William stood there, frozen. Paralyzed.
And the screaming. There was so much screaming.
Finally, William took a step forward.
And another, and then a few more.
Until finally, he was standing right in front of the yellow bear animatronic, expressionless as a numb sort of shock washed over him. He gently pulled on a mechanism on the side of the animatronic’s neck, and its mouth opened. He cradled the lifeless body in his arms, not caring about the blood that stained his shirt.
He just stood there for a moment, holding what he assumed to be a corpse. That is, until he saw the child’s chest slowly rise and fall. He was breathing.
Evan was alive.
William knew this tiny spark would extinguish into nothing if he did not do something, so in a shaky, quiet voice that did not feel or sound like his own, he spoke. “Michael, call 911.”
His eldest son seemed to snap out of his shock, nodding and hurrying over to the nearest phone. All William could do was hold the injured child close to his chest. Evan’s eyes were half-lidded, glazed with pain. The child tried and failed to reach for something.
William turned to see what it was. There, on the floor, lay his plush of the animatronic that had just crushed his skull nearly in two. Carefully, as not to jostle the little one, he picked up the plush and handed it to him. He weakly wrapped his arms around it. His eyes were beginning to drift shut.
“Michael, hurry,” He called to the teen, anxiously. They didn’t have much time, if any at all. William could hear sirens in the distance. Help was coming.
The question was, could they come fast enough? Would whatever life still remained in his youngest son fade before they arrived? “Hang on,” William whispered to Evan, though he doubted the child in his arms could hear him now.
He was so small and so young. Though the man did not believe in god, he pleaded to whatever was out there, begging for the little boy to somehow survive.
Finally, finally, help arrived. They took Evan from William’s arms, and he just stood and watched. He could not believe this. He did not want to.
They asked him if he wanted to ride with Evan. Numb and in shock, he just shook his head. It was his ex-wife who ended up driving to the hospital with Michael in tow, filling out the papers and staying with Evan. William just… stood there.
The tears began to fall once everyone had left, as he mopped his son’s blood from the floor. He was a swirl of turmoil as he wiped the diner clean. His brain had begun to work again, the shock wearing away now that he’d had some time to process.
Once his thoughts were more coherent, he realized he should be with his son. He might not have very long, so he drove quickly. He hurried to Evan’s room.
Beep
Beep
Beep
Beep
He could hear the machine attached to his son, tracking his heartbeat. At least he still had one. Evan’s head was bandaged, and there were all sorts of tubes and wires connected to him that William could not even begin to understand the purpose of. He pulled a chair up to sit by the bedside, watching every breath his little one took, each inhale and exhale as his chest rose and fell.
 All he could do now was wait and hope. William was never a religious man, but he prayed for the second time that day, gently slipping Evan’s smaller hand into his own, giving it a gentle squeeze. There was nothing in response, and it made his heart sink.
He had been sitting there for a while when the heart monitor sped up. It scared him to see the beeping get faster, but it slowed after a moment.
 William wondered if Evan was dreaming. Something on the child’s face told William they were more like nightmares. He hummed an old lullaby, gently rubbing his thumb along the child’s hand.
Evan visibly calmed, his other arm still wrapped around the well-loved yellow plush. It was a sign he could hear what was going on. A good sign, or at least, something he could work with.
So he talked for a little while. Most of it was pointless chatter, stories or funny things that had happened at work. It seemed to help calm the child down, though.
Eventually he ran out of tales to tell, so he just sat with Evan, watching and praying and hoping he might just survive.
He stayed there until the hospital staff kicked him out. He drove home, but he didn’t go to bed. William realized he still had Evan’s blood on his shirt, so he changed into different clothes.  He hadn’t eaten much that day, but the thought of food made his stomach turn.
William knew he wouldn’t be able to sleep, so he just sat in the living room, waiting until he could see Evan again.
He drove to the hospital early in the morning, and sat with Evan again. He could tell the lack of sleep was messing with his perception of time, as when people came in to visit, it was as if they were only there for a few seconds, like they appeared and then disappeared.
No one came to kick him out that night. He just stayed. Whenever Evan’s breathing quickened and the heart monitor sped up, he would hum and gently squeeze the child’s hand until he calmed.
Henry came by that morning, eyes sad and worried. Apparently, William looked terrible, and Henry urged him to go get some sleep. William refused, and his old friend sat next to him for a while.
“He can hear us, you know,” William said, voice quiet and tired. “Yeah? You think so?” Henry asked softly. “Yeah.”
Evan’s heart sped up, and Henry looked alarmed. “What’s happening to him?” He asked, staring at the monitor that showed his pulse. “I’m almost certain he’s dreaming,” William said, rubbing his thumb up and down the child’s hand, humming softly.
In mere minutes he calmed down, and Henry seemed surprised. “I think you’re right, he can hear us,” he commented. William nodded. “You really should get some sleep.” Henry said worriedly. “Have you even eaten today?” William just shrugged. “I wasn’t hungry.”
Henry gave him a pitying look, genty wrapping an arm around him. He gently eased William down, so his head was resting on Henry’s shoulder. “I’m not tired,” William lied, immediately contradicting himself with a yawn. “Sure, pal,” Henry said gently, not believing him one bit.
William didn’t fall asleep, but he dozed there for a while. Henry talked for a bit, maybe to him or maybe to Evan, he wasn’t sure which, until morning turned to late afternoon turned to evening, and Henry had to leave.
That night was the fastest Evan’s heart had beat while he was here. William hummed and hummed and murmured soft reassurances, and even then his heart only slowed a little. He could not imagine the awful things his son must have been dreaming about.
The third day came and went quickly. Evan’s condition did not change, nor did it on the fourth day.
On the fifth night, his condition began to deteriorate. William knew he wasn’t going to live very long, so he stayed there, watching worriedly.
Seven nights. Evan stayed in that hospital for seven full nights. On the eighth, his heart slowed. His eyes fluttered open. Hope filled William for the first time in days. “Dad…?” The man could not even respond before the slow beeps turned into one long, agonizing note.
“Evan? Evan, please, no. Come on…” He sobbed there, begging to no one. He pleaded, but nobody answered his cries. His son was gone.

What is the timeline for this au? :3
I have a more detailed timeline with dates in Excel, but I don't have it rn so here's a shorter one (which is still really REALLY long). thanks for the ask!!! spoilers 4 everything second chances...
Before the animatronics
Part 1 - William's childhood
-Due to the brainwashing, William thinks he lives in a mansion with "his parents and his four siblings" -- there's a forest nearby & William and his "father" go there to hunt animals frequently. William starts going to the forest by himself, and when he's 13, he encounters a ghost kid with a golden bear mask near to the altar of a missing child.
-In the late 40s, William is born in England. He's taken away by Shadow Bonnie when he's a baby, but she brainwashes him into thinking he's still with his family. (this is the #parasiteshadow concept)
-Angry at the ghost, he goes back to the altar and destroys it. But then Shadow Bonnie takes the shape of this ghost kid, and scares William so much he breaks free from her control. Realizing his whole life was a lie -- he didn't have a family and the Afton mansion was never there -- he loses his mental stability
-William discovers Remnant since that's what Shadow Bonnie's made of, and investigates it. By experimenting with it, he manages to create the "Fear gas" that he uses to brainwash other people the way she did to him (this device is used as a McGuffin A LOT)
Part 2
-Years later, when William is 19, he goes to college in USA and meets Henry. He's working on his first ever human-sized animatronic, Fredbear, which reminds William of that ghost he saw. So he becomes obsessed with Henry thinking he's related to his past somehow. Despite this, Henry & William become good friends bc they relate to each other
First pizzeria
-William and Henry open Fredbear's Family Diner, with the only animatronics being Springbonnie and Fredbear at the beginning, but they add Chica, Bonnie, Freddy & Foxy later. William modeled Springbonnie after Shadow Bonnie
-William marries his gf Verna, and Henry marries his friend Barbara. William & Verna have a "opposites atract" kinda relationship, that's fun at the beginning but that gets worse and worse as times passes. Henry & Barbara married just to hide each other's actual preference, but they do get along well
-William cheats on Verna with a former classmate, Lorraine
-Sammy and Charlotte are born
-William and Verna get divorced
-Five years later, William kidnaps two children for the fear experiments:
Michael Brooks (neglected teen that follows Will into his car when he's using the Fredbear suit).
Melissa (also a neglected child, she saw Michael being kidnapped but got caught by Will when she was looking for help)
-They become Michael Afton & Melissa Afton (CC)
-Michael also becomes William's accomplice and:
They build the Funtimes
the Bite of 83 happens.
he kidnaps Charlotte, and she becomes Elizabeth Afton. (#fakeelizabeth) Lorraine witnesses this and William kills her, Lorraine then possesses Ballora. (#scrapballora)
-Aditionally, William kills Garrett & he possesses the Puppet. He also kills the Kids(tm) and they possess the gang as usual. He then injects their Remnant into the Funtimes which makes them act erratically. He opens Ballora Pizza World but it's a very exclusive, rich people thing
-Obviously Fredbear's closes after all that. Fortunately Henry (kinda) realizes what's happening and helps Michael escape from William by hiding him with Verna somewhere far. Unfortunately William passes that as Henry kidnapping Mike and pins all of his crimes on him and his grandma /j
Second pizzeria
Part 1
-Henry is cleared from the kidnapping and murder charges due to a lack of proof and opens a new pizzeria, Freddy's Fazbear Pizza, with the Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy and Chica from the previous establishment...
-William runs away with Elizabeth after Ballora Pizza World falls apart since everybody knows the owner's a killer. and they change their names. This is when William adopts Vanessa, mainly to spy on the people from Hurricane without potentially revealing himself (#aftonshellyfam)
-Meanwhile Henry is building the Charliebots & living with kid-bot Charlie bc he thinks the real Charlotte is dead. Barbara left with Sammy after an incident (Sammy got hurt when playing with kid Charlie and Henry helped the bot instead of his son smh).
-Vanessa tells this to William and they steal the Fourth Charlie. William makes her into Circus Baby
-When Elizabeth is 19 she gets crushed to death by Circus Baby when trying to protect Vanessa from her (ice cream scene almost happens but with Ness). Elizabeth becomes Fake Charlie
-Henry steals Fake Charlie back, and tries to modify her so she looks like his vision of Adult Charlie again. Shadow Bonnie leaves William momentarily to feed on Henry's despair, taking the form of Fake Charlie. This makes Henry thinks she's evil, and he locks her away, not knowing Charlotte's in there
-William gets worse bc Shadow Bonnie has left. He tells Vanessa all about her crimes so she can kill people w him (he hasn't directly killed anyone since he left Hurricane) and she tries to escape but he threatens to hurt her friends if she does
Part 2
-Hearing that Will is gone, Michael returns to Hurricane to investigate bc he wonders what was up w the Funtimes & if Lorraine was his mother. Due to having been brainwashed his memories are very blurry and he mistakes William's actions for Henry's and stuff. Specially since Will used Fredbear's suit when he kidnapped him, and Henry's living with Charlie bot -- the child Michael supposedly kidnapped to bring to his father. So he thinks Henry might be his father and that therefore he might be the criminal everyone fears in town,,
Then, Sister Location, Silver Eyes, FNaF 3 & everything happens.. but as you probably can tell it's still kind of a fractured Mess, so I'll leave the timeline here for now!!!

New Version of the "Unnamed FNAF AU I'm Currently Writing."
This is the first part of what I wrote, it's not even finished. Meaning the first chapter, not even the first fic, or the entire fic.
This is the beginning of my personal AU.
It's also now named. No, I will not be actually naming it until I have more written. You can call it the Roots Remain AU, because that is part of the title.
Warnings for an unreliable narrator (Michael internalized that guilt and remorse for years from the Bite of '83, he thinks he killed his brother, it's only like one line though), William Afton (man needs an entire warning to himself, not just murderous intentions or something), and the use of the words bastard, damn, and fuck.
[Word Count: 859]
The smoke was thick, making it impossible to breathe. Flames licked at the underside of the door in front of him, his route to an exit burning up yet again. He stared at the fire in front of him, slowly eating away at the door. With shaking hands, he brought his fingers to the string keeping the now soot-stained bear mask on his face.
The mask itself was cute, in his opinion. Cream colored, a little fuzzy at the edges, and quaint little ears that his blackened hair conveniently fell around, so they popped through. Though, now, that same mask was covered in black, fire and smoke tainting the once bright color.
His uniform was much the same, the suit he was wearing now colored with ash and flames.
He couldn't just give up here, he had to make sure his father was dead. He had to make sure that child murdering bastard never made it out of here. He had to make sure that everyone else was safe from William Afton.
His mask came off, the string finally untying, and he took in big gulps of air into his non-existent lungs. The skin on his face, his entire body, was purpled, long having been cut off from blood flow and air. With the bear mask on, he was the manager and technical co-owner of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, Mike Schmidt, but without?
He was once again that bastard's son, the boy who killed his brother, Michael Afton.
He held the mask in his hands, staring at it, trying to comprehend just where everything went wrong. He was supposed to get out, damn it! His uncle had said there was an exit for him-
His head whipped back and forth, searching for the exit, the one that was promised to him, so he could escape. The flames were licking at his decayed skin, but he couldn't feel it, he hadn't felt anything since that cursed day, the day he became what he was now. Black, hollow sclera with bright white pupils and irises in the center, watching the world move on as his body fell apart further and further.
The man's hair was starting to burn away, and honestly, he didn't know how it was still there after all those years of stress and being undead. He would have thought because he didn't have a working body anymore, everything would have started to collapse and fade away. He was only partly right. And he hated it.
Everything was on fire, and just like the last time the man was surrounded by flames, he wasn't the cause. In Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction, which was just a replica of Fredbear's Family Diner, the still-exposed wiring sparked near the leaking gas pipes. They had never told him that the gas was combustible. It didn't help that his fucking father was there, trapped inside that damn Spring Bonnie suit.
Shaking his head, Michael forced himself back to the present. He slowly stood on shaky legs, and stumbled over to where he remembered his last remaining exit was. That had to be the one Henry promised, but in his stupid speech (which, really, did Henry think he knew what Michael was thinking at any time? The answer was no. Michael never wanted to stay here and die. He wanted to make sure his father was burned to ashes, and then probably pass through life as a hermit or something), he had said that there was a way out.
Was.
Did that mean his exit was no more? No, he could see it ahead, a straight shot to the outside, to freedom, to life, the emergency exit light dim with all the fire in his vision, burning his long-dead retinas. The final exit, the last one he knew of.
Then, because of course the universe had to be out to get him, the roof caved, right in front of that exit.
He collapsed where he stood, black tears starting to drip from his eyes, streaking down his blistering face, his tear ducts unable to produce water for decades at that point. Michael's mind halted. Why him? Why did it all have to happen to him?
With a rage he thought himself incapable of, he ripped his name tag off, and threw it in the flames. The cheap plastic was burning away, the name that read Mike S. soon turning to something unreadable, until the plastic was just a molten puddle on the ground.
He could hear heavy thumping behind him, but he didn't mind. He may have Remnant running through him, what was left of him, but he knew he wasn't going to survive this. Scrap Baby, the broken down clown animatronic his sister's soul resided in, came into his peripheral view, staring at him in that eerie way animatronics do.
"M-M-Mike-ey?" she said, the voice box that allowed her to speak glitching out frequently. Michael faced her, expression unbelieving.
"He said I would be able to get out," the man whispered. "He said I would be able to live." He turned back to stare at the now burning exit, hope extinguished from his chest.

don't mind me, just. writing a mini thing related to thoughts about William and Cassidy, and how those two know each other in Golden No Longer.
specifically, William and the names he knows Cassidy by.
(warnings: mentioned child murder and death, swearing, some mild mentions of homophobia, transphobia, and misgendering*, references to bullying, some graphic descriptions of violence and death)
*important to note: while Cassidy is nonbinary, and generally doesn't like feminine terms used for them (ex. Daughter, Girl, Ma'am, Miss, etc.), there are a few exceptions: Sister, Niece, and Aunt. so Afton is not misgendering them in the parts where he's referring to Cass as "Mike's Sister."
~~~~~~~
Over the years, William has come to know Cassidy by many names and titles. Some more positive, and others...not.
He came know them by several names rather quickly after meeting them:
Cassidy Jane Schmidt. "Cass." Adrian's Babysitter. Charlie's Friend.
The first two, rather obvious. It was their name, and the nickname most people called them by. Simple enough. And, of course, they were Adrian, his youngest son's, babysitter. A rather good one at that. Even if they did swear around him and Elizabeth too much for his liking. And okay, maybe calling them Charlie's "friend" was a bit of an understatement, but it's not like being open about it was exactly...without consequence in a town like this. Not that most kids their age hadn't caught on. He honestly wishes that Charlie could catch a break, that those children would mind their business for once. And Cassidy...they didn't even try to be mean about it most of the time; just asking employees to call them "Kid" or "Kiddo" instead of "Little Miss." Some got the memo, others didn't.
Don't get him wrong, he never had a problem with Cassidy. Sure, they were hard-headed, quick to anger, and, as he would put it, a sarcastic little shit, but they were a good kid at heart. A sweetheart, if you will.
But...well, to put it one way, after June 26th, 1982, he had two new names for them:
"The One I Wasn't Supposed To Kill," and Mike's Sister.
Mike had gotten lucky that night. It was supposed to be him. But, of course, William doesn't know what he expected. Cassidy was generally about five seconds from punching bullies in the face. From what Henry told him the night he killed Charlie Charlie died, Cassidy was in shambles, almost getting into a fight with the bullies that locked Charlie out to begin with. William himself heard Cassidy say they would "kill the bastard who killed Charles" (he always found their nickname for her rather sweet). He doesn't know what he really expected, honestly.
Of course they would protect their baby brother. Of course, after all of their friends had been ripped from them, they wouldn't willingly let the same fate befall their brother.
He still remembers them hugging their brother, telling him that they loved him, and that they'd be home soon (they wouldn't. they would never go home. they'd never see their brother again, at least not while they were still alive). He remembers the betrayal on their face. How hard they tried fighting back before he dragged them to the backroom. He remembers them swearing that they'd come back to haunt him, to kill him.
(oh, how he'd laughed back then, because ghosts aren't real, are they? of course not. it was just something Cassidy was saying to give themself some vague semblance of control in their final moments, or just a way to make sure William would live with that guilt the rest of his days. but no, they couldn't literally haunt him, surely. oh what a fool he was. what a fool he'd been.)
He remembers their screams of agony as the springlocks inside of Fredbear activated, how their blood slowly leaked out of the bear, how the suit writhed and twitched as Cassidy's body spasmed. How the bear finally stilled as Cassidy's life slipped away.
He remembers cleaning things up to the best of his ability. This was back before Henry had made the Nightguards mandatory, and nobody would be showing up until the morning. To him, he'd have all the time in the world to clean up. He remembers driving Cassidy's lifeless body out of the diner (he couldn't keep them in the suit this time. unlike Freddy's, the suits at the diner would be checked regularly. he couldn't have that), slightly out of town, before stopping near a secluded lake. For over 40 years, that would be Cassidy's final resting place.
(and as William leaves Fredbear's the next morning, after the interviews and all the questionings, he can almost swear that he feels eyes on him as he leaves. the eyes burn into him.
he's also not going to think about how, after Mrs. Schmidt brought the plushie that Cassidy had made for Adrian, that the boy had named it "Cass." he's not going to think about how, after he and his sons went to Fredbear's with it one time, he felt a presence leave with them. he won't think about how he swears that he always sees a shape, just out on the edges of his peripheral vision. he won't think about how Adrian constantly seems to talk to "Cass," the bear, and even pause as though he's being talked to before responding. he won't think about the fact that the bear always seemed to be watching, thinking. and he certainly won't think about the time he went to check up on his son, only to see Cassidy sitting across from him as casually as ever, covered in blood. he also won't think about how, upon his son asking his former babysitter what had happened to them, they slowly turned to stare up at him, eyes unblinking. Adrian might not have noticed it, but William certainly did.
and as he attempts to drill it into his son's head that Cassidy was nothing more than a coping mechanism, a figment of his imagination, he isn't entirely sure who he's trying to convince anymore: his son or himself.
because it can't be them, it can't it can't it can't they're dead he killed them he knows they're dead it can't be them so why are they there-)
It is in the new era of Freddy Fazbear's that William gets yet another name for Cassidy:
"A Thorn In My Side."
So maybe William had decided to kill again. He doesn't know what happened, if Charlie's murder had unlocked something in his mind or if his mind had simply broken from grief. He doesn't even know if he particularly cares anymore. All he knows is that one night in November of 1987, he decided to do it again. He didn't even have to pick the kids out this time: they just came to him. A group of three teenagers and two younger siblings, coming to figure out if the rumors of haunted robots and ghosts of dead children were true. They honestly made it almost too easy for him. There were even five. Just like last time.
Charlie had tried waking the others up. It seemed as though Gabriel was the only one who she was able to get up in time. She led him through the building, desperately trying to save those kids. Even in their robotic voices, they call out to each other: S-A-V-E-T-H-E-M.
They can't. The kids are already dead by the time the two of them started searching through the restaurant. Well, Charlie was ever the optimist and protector of innocents. Doesn't seem like death has changed her much in that regard. He can't even blame Gabriel for his naive hope that they could do something to help the children. The boy was only seven, after all.
No, what surprises him is when he gets done disarming Freddy, only to turn around and come face-to-face with Fredbear.
The golden bear twitches as it stands there, its empty sockets having only two glowing white dots for pupils. He can practically feel the rage radiating off of the suit, as though whatever ghost inhabited it was hardly containing their anger and desire to tear him to shreds.
He's not stupid. He knows it's Cassidy. And, rather unfortunately for him, it seems like whatever restraints holding them back have snapped. The bear lunges at him, letting out a robotic roar, but he manages to disarm this suit as well. He hurries to delete the evidence of his crime on the cameras, rushing out of the building.
And so this process would repeat for both this location and the one in the 90's. He witnessed The Mangle bite a man in the skull, only to stare at him, as though contemplating whether he was next (it was Jeremy, one of the boys responsible for Adrian's death. it almost feels as though this is retribution. even though there was an entirely different child possessing that thing, the incident screams Cassidy. the stare he was given certainly didn't help). It felt like a warning. Whatever warning he was being given, he decided for his own sake that he would heed it. He left early that day.
(he's there as Mr. Smith finishes his shift the next night, rambling about how he'd fucked with the animatronics. he doesn't calm down any as his boss yells that he's fired, rambling on and on about how his sons were still back there, in those suits. the kids were all still back there. the old animatronics seemed to stop attacking him upon realizing who he was. he could've sworn that Foxy and Bonnie, the originals, the ones they had found the bodies in just two years prior, seemed to look closely at him, as though they recognized him. it was his Jeremy and Junior, it had to be them, who else could it be? they need help, why wasn't anyone helping them? the manager (not Frederik. it would never be Frederik again. not after Gabriel...) tries to console the man, telling him that he needs to leave, that he is truly sorry for this man's loss, but that his kids were found two years ago. Fritz snaps at him, yelling that he "doesn't understand." he leaves with foreboding words: Fazbear Entertainment has innocent blood on their hands, and he has the suspicion that someone in the company is the one with the literal blood on their hands, someone who will someday get their just desserts.)
The cycle goes as follows: William would return to Freddy's, typically as some kind of employee, and he'd try to start over again in the company. But something would always happen; the death of an employee, some familiar face would show up, what have you. And, like clockwork, he feels Those Eyes upon him again.
This time, in 1993, he had a name change: Dave Miller. It seemed that not many recognized him, at least.
But from Day Fucking One, he felt Them looking at him again. They never did anything, given he worked the dayshift, and there wasn't much they could do in broad daylight. It didn't mean that their presence didn't make things harder. Daniel Scottson, their most trusted Nightguard, suddenly was found stuffed within a suit in the back. Employees quit. Every new hire for the next two weeks spent a single night in the place and quit the next morning, their faces pale and their eyes wide, talking of the robots moving around at night. Of those new hires, only one made it through the whole week, long enough to get promoted to the dayshift.
Mike Schmidt. Cassidy's younger brother.
He had dark circles under his eyes, and anxiety medication he had to take. It had been eleven years since that fateful night. He was freshly an adult, and yet he still had that distant look in his eyes he had all those years ago when he realized his sister wasn't coming home. Despite the stressful nights, he seemed almost determined to make it through his first week. As though something were spurring him on. It is only on the morning after his fourth night that he breaks down, telling "Dave" and his other coworker, Nate, what happened (not that William didn't already know): Cassidy had been killed over a decade ago. Mike knew he wasn't meant to survive. He was supposed to die that night. But Cass took his place, and they died instead. He's blamed himself for years; if only he had said something to their mom, if only he hadn't obeyed Cass and lied about where they were, if only he had grabbed onto their hand and ran like hell, if only, if only, if only. In some ways, he feels like he's getting closure doing this job.
(As William tries to at least pretend he's comforting the poor young man, he feels Cassidy stare at him again, the rage burning into him. He can feel it in their gaze: How dare you comfort him, as though you aren't the one responsible for his suffering? How dare you pretend that you care that you destroyed his life? How dare you sit there and pretend that you didn't rip everything away from him?)
Mike returns at the end of his fifth night, tears in his eyes and looking as though a weight were lifted off of him. When asked by Nate, he simply responds with, "I think I got what I came here for. I haven't felt this light for over a decade." William checks the cameras. He sees that damn poster show up on 2B, and hears noises come out of The Office. It sounds like Mike talking to someone, but whatever responses he gets seem to glitch out the cameras, but it's clear that Mike was talking to someone.
It seems that Mike got that closure he wanted. And when the place shut down about a year later, William waited. It was 1996. William was about to get some closure of his own.
Those kids wanted to be free? He'd free them. Maybe then they'd stop causing him problems.
Of course, that's not how it went, did it? Those kids didn't just want to be free. They wanted vengeance. And Cassidy, specifically, wanted him to suffer.
Unfortunately, he found that out too late.
He mostly only knew Cassidy as a thorn in his side for years after that. They'd sit with him in the Saferoom, simply staring him down. Sometimes they'd talk to him. Even after he was freed, he only considered them an annoyance.
Of course, up until That Fire. The fire Henry set.
He did say Not To Keep The Devil Waiting, after all.
William just didn't think about who that "devil" would end up being. Not until he felt himself getting dragged down, but not into fire.
No, something that was, in his opinion, far worse awaited him.
......He doesn't know how long he's been here. If it's been days, weeks, months, years. Fuck, maybe it's been seconds, he doesn't know anymore. All he knows is that he's been living in a constant cycle for a long time now. He's been torn limb from limb, has been ripped to shreds by creatures that only exist in people's nightmares, set on fire, and has been left in agonizing pain. But then it would reset, as though nothing ever happened. Sometimes he would make it through "shifts," more stressed then he'd ever been, only for it to reset again.
He now has a new name for Cassidy, but not one he gave them himself:
"I HAVE SEEN HIM, THE ONE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE KILLED."
"He's here, and always watching: The One You Shouldn't Have Killed."
"Greetings from the fire, and from The One You Should Not Have Killed!"
Sometimes, he finds himself in a dark void, only one thing visible in front of him: Fredbear, twitching into the darkness, as though in agony. He remembers that night, the night he took Cassidy's life in the most painful way possible. The night Cassidy swore vengeance. Swore to haunt him, kill him, make him suffer how they had ALL suffered.
Aside from that name, William had one more for them: Tormentor.
William wouldn't really say that he regretted what he'd done back in 1982. Not at all.
But he would say that Cassidy's murder was one of his greatest mistakes.
A mistake that he feels that he'll pay for, for a long, long time to come.
Right since I’m beginning to settle down on my Digital Circus hyperfixation, it’s time to talk about another one! It surprises me that I haven’t talked about the Fnaf movie that much on here so don’t expect this to be concise, it’s gonna be all over the place so let’s go!
First off, I still can’t process that the movie is coming out in almost a week! As a self proclaimed Fnaf veteran (I’ve been a fan since the second games release) i thought this movie was doomed to be stuck in development hell but no! It’s real, fnaf is real, ye.
Anyway enough rambling, time to go feral over minor details.
Yes I watched the unlisted video in full and yes this has been on my mind for the past 7 hours or so. It captured the ambience of Fnaf 1 PERFECTLY and I couldn’t be happier about it. So I’m gonna talk about some cool stuff I saw during the video.
WHAT THE FUCK? SHADOW FREDDY? That was not on my bingo card, look at him, he’s glorious.
Tumblr media
I also saw this small pill bottle, it’s likely that it’s Mike’s but I’m not sure why he’d have it, maybe it’s a Walten Files situation? He could’ve went through something so traumatic that he had to take normal pills to forgor? And if Mike IS William’s son here then that would explain why he didn’t know who he was during the job interview, so the event that happened that made him become prescribed to them was likely The Bite Of 83 if that’s the case. Or they’re completely unrelated since the movies timeline is completely separate from the games.
Tumblr media
Enough speculating, time to talk about funnie murder man now.
Tumblr media
They absolutely NAILED this design, I love how you can see hints of Afton’s clothes and those eyes, holy shit those eyes, I don’t know what it is but they’re so unsettling (loving the hints of purple in those peepers). I don’t know when the suit’s showing up in the movie (probably the third act) but its probably going to be my favourite part. And if the Spring Bonnie design makes me feel genuinely unsettled, I can’t WAIT to see what they’re going to do with Springtrap.
I know some people have said that this is going to be his design for the movie but I don’t think that’s the case, look at the small hints of Afton we see in the suit, there’s no blood, no hints of bodily harm, he clearly hasn’t been springlocked yet, and the suit looks worse for wear because it’s the suit from Fredbear’s, it’s old, it hasn’t been in use for almost 2 decades (it’s been confirmed by Emma Tammi that the movie takes place in the year 2000), and speaking of springlocks…
Tumblr media
BBFC RATING HELLO?? UNDETAILED DECAPITATION?? HUH??
At first I thought it was referring to a possible springlock scene, but then I remembered something that would make a lot more sense
Tumblr media
Maybe it’s referring to this? I’ve seen a lot of theories stating that Golden Freddy might actually be Mike after something happens (hence why Abby’s so chill with a golden bear that has Sans Undertale going into his eyes).
But it could refer to quite a few things maybe that’s how the five children were killed and stuffed? Possibly, but either way, I really hope they don’t cut out the springlock failure entirely, it’s really important to the timeline and I’m genuinely curious to see what they could get away with with the rating in mind.
Tumblr media
ALSO THIS. Okay, so there’s obviously a few contenders here and I can immediately debunk one of them
Tumblr media
It’s not Balloon Boy, we see him in a drawing during this scene in the teaser trailer, and I think it would be out of place for him to show up anyway (even if I’d find it fucking hilarious)
I think it’s either Henry or The Puppet, I don’t see it being anyone else (maybe there’s someone I forgot? Idk man Fnaf canon nowadays is ridiculous). Maybe if the Mike saw trap theory actually happens The Puppet will show up to do her thing and place his soul in the Golden Freddy suit? Maybe, it’s either that or a post credits scene. And with Henry I only see him having a VERY minor role, I’m not sure what he could be doing though, we’ll have to wait and see if he shows up or not.
Tumblr media
Anyway I’m very excited for this movie and if it’s not at least a 7/10 I’m going to cry.
A vision of the future
Begin the cyber revolution
Mechanical fusion
The perfect evolution
These simple parts of mine are interchangeable
Unlimited connections when you're digital
Becoming one with wires is sensational
Go out with the old and in with the new
Tumblr media
Hehe Mike's gone for awhile.
Michael continues to throw a childish tantrum about it despite this being 100% his own fault lmao.
Bonnie is great, you tell him. X'D
Tumblr media
DAMN BONNIE OKAY!? Pessimism cranked up to the max.
Though it is nice to see he's concerned about Mike.
Tumblr media
HAHA WOAH WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY MICHAEL!?
BACK IT UP.
So he DOES know Cody's in an animatronic...
And he DOES KNOW Bonnie was somebody before being an animatronic.
AND SO DOES BONNIE!?
This loops back to: Bonnie and Michael are CLOSE. They clearly talk/have talked about things far beyond what Mike or the audience would have any knowledge about lmfao.
A disturbing thing to think about is how Bonnie KNOWS he is some random dead person inside a fucking fur suit without any control over that. Like Jeez.
That's a blink and you'll miss it kind of piece of dialogue because it doesn't linger past like 2 panels. I have no idea how Webtoon people would have reacted to this information: Because as we have established they didn't pay attention to begin with, but ALSO these pages weren't ever uploaded and even if they WERE we would be FAR past when I decided to disable comments.
It also is telling Michael wants to take over this place and get it out from under William's thumb. He IS actually committed to changing this place from what it is. He and William are not on the same side hah and Michael is not a fan of the murder which it's all but verbally conformed he knows his father is doing.
Anyways best boy Sammy's back.
He says something to the affect of "You're loud/annoying" I forgot which. X'D
Michael is easily offended over Sammy's entire existence so he doesn't take the dad comment nicely.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lmao Bonnie's vices coming back. He will sell you out.
This applies to everyone. X'D
Bonnie calling Michael "Mikey" is funny considering he refuses to call Mike by his real name BECAUSE Michael is the "Mike" of the place lmfao. We get basically conformation a few times Michael used to go by "Mike" exclusively before our grey haired beauty showed up lmfao.
Bonnie wants them baked goods lmfao.
Also Sammy IS somewhat like Michael described lmfao. Smug at least.
Does this lend anything to the "he's only doing it to annoy Michael" idea?
Ehhhhh. Maybe. X'D Either way Sammy's a colorful character lmfao. I love him. I just love the absolute powerplay of "I fucked your dad last night"
Like Sammy- BRO. You didn't have to obliterate Michael like that-
Tumblr media
Booking it out of there to go get laid. Sammy's an absolute chad.
I absolutely love the panel of Michael screaming like a cat while Bonnie holds him lmfao.
And them quickly making up as long as Bonnie shares shows what kind of friendship they have haha. Bonnie's betrayals aren't enough to cause a rift between them even for a moment as all his anger was directed at Sammy lmfao.
Michael enjoying getting high is also a funny notion considering how much of a good boy he pretends to be.
Tumblr media
They talk on discord lmfao.
Cody's screen name being "Yellow bear" is a reference to Golden Freddy only being called "Yellow bear" in the game files of FNAF 1.
Freddy is flirty with everyone. Turns out he was just complimenting himself indirectly.
This is also further pointing out the suit Cody is in is NOT the one that bit his head but a recolored Freddy costume. Which like, again draws attention to the Fredbear animatronic we've seen through the series as odd.
Cody isn't a fan of talking to Freddy. Damn okay, rude.
Tumblr media
The idea of Cody absolutely losing his shit while playing first person shooters is hysterical to me.
Also relatable considering my younger brother would do that shit up until the early AM hours screeching his lungs out for the whole house to hear. No sleep would be had and NOBODY would stop him. Thanks mom. 🙃
Lmfao. Cody's room is a mess with gross shit in it.
Bonnie barging into Cody's room is like, a regular thing too which is hilarious considering he knows Cody hates it when he goes in.
Something of note: Why does Cody have a plush of FOXY. Considering his history with that character it's an odd choice.
Ya know his brother wearing a foxy mask while MURDERING him.
Tumblr media
Bonnie continues to hold a big brother vibe around Cody. Which I still stand by that's sweet considering how f-ed Cody's relationship is with his OG brother is. X'D
Which we see the extent of in the FNAF 4 comic.
As Bonnie even offers to help him clean Cody's room just so he doesn't have his privacy invaded.
Bonnie in general just does things that have no real perks for him lmfao.
Tumblr media
Horrifying thought: Cody can leave the building.
Outfit disection time:
Mike's wearing a pink sweater with Bonnie on it.
SO HE DOES OWN BONNIE MERCH!
Also Cody, wtf. How could you bamboozle Bonnie like that. That's rude.
Tumblr media
Mike, checking he is in fact medicated before just going back to bed just feels relatable despite me not having anything to like, connect to? X'D Like mans is so calm despite everything. You got to do a LOT to break Mike.
Cody being an annoying shithead in the background very funny to me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mike is so calm and levelheaded even when he thinks he's hallucinating. Dude is used to coping with shit through masking everything's alright.
Even cracking a joke, presumably to make himself feel better.
Mike's apparently a fan of animal crossing.
Cody's pissed off expression at the leaf is based on the many Whiney the Poo memes. Because he's a also a goofy yellow bear.
Also Cody getting so pissed off he starts to blush is hilarious to me. Bro is SO angry at Mike's crap. X'D
Cody has severe anger issues example 100 lmao.
Tumblr media
Roommate! :D
She's excited to see Cody lmao.
Poor Mike only comes out when he knows he's not seeing shit.
Sammy wasn't wrong about the robots forming attachments to the night guards hah.
Tumblr media
OH.
SO THIS GIRL IS HIS SITER IN LAW HUH? Interesting...
So Mike was/is married to someone...?
Where are they?
Jeremy, the answer is Jeremy but shh that hasn't been said out loud yet lmfao.
Also his sister in law is a paranormal crazy person.
Tumblr media
LIES CODY LIES.
Jeremy Fitzgerald is "No fun" I guess he's too easy to scare.
And when he's not he's uh...POSSESSED???
Tumblr media
Scarlet and Violet were coming out when I drew this. Hah.
Tumblr media
Pff. Mike did you have to say that? X'D
Tumblr media
Hahahhhahahaha. Sammy knows Mike just wanders around.
They just let him do that lmfao.
Interestingly enough Sammy ALSO seems to want Freddy's to change for the better...? He at least takes precautions to make it safer.
Bonnie calls him out on his bribery lmfao.
Tumblr media
Hah they got banter.
Sammy tries to run the place differently from the other owners it seems.
Tumblr media
DAMN OKAY BONNIE!? WEIRD ADVICE.
Also he sold Sammy out for cigarettes. X'D
The fact Micheal isn't a CONSTANT stream of cigarettes the fact he relied on Mike for them at least implies Michael usually refuses to buy them...Unless he disses Sammy for them lmfao.
Which is interesting...
It's at least implied, most of the time Michael doesn't enable Bonnie's smoking habit for whatever reason.
Tumblr media
No wonder he's more responsible lmao. Dude has way more on his plate than Michael. It's also amusing to know Michael and Sammy HATE each other despite literally going to own this place together at some point when their parents kick the buckets lmfao.
Tumblr media
I love Mike. I've said it before but I just love his blank faced sass.
Also Sammy has some ISSUES with how his dad and William run the place.
DOES SAMMY KNOW ABOUT THE INTENTIONAL MURDERS?
Michael does and can't do squat about it but does Sammy?
Tumblr media
I just love Sammy's major fuck up here while trying to be funny.
Mike takes it in stride at least hah.
Also damn Mike personal space-
Tumblr media
I love rick rolls leave me be. X'D
Tumblr media
Mike is that simp behavior we spot?
Also Damn Bonnie you don't need to come for Sammy like that.
Tumblr media
BONNIE'S TRYIN'A CAUSE DRAMA!!!
Also lmfao what kind of history do Henry and William have for Bonnie to assume William's using Sammy as a replacement for Henry?
There's some sauce here that's for sure-
Lmao Mike is a simp conformed. To be fair: Sammy saved his ass we can allow him to simp just a little.
FREDDY! :D FREDDY'S HERE!!! 💙💙💙💙💙 ORF ORF ORF ORF- Alright enough of that stupid meme-
Tumblr media
Uhhhhh...
What "problem" Freddy?
"AND STOP STARIN' AT ME WITH THEM BIG OL EYES"
Also yes a lot of the characters got a redesign. This comic was drawn over the course of 2 years lmfao.
Tumblr media
I just love the line "Don't do anything stupid...PLEASE?" Like damn Bonnie doesn't have any freakin' hope for Mike after nearly getting killed by mangle WHICH WE KNOW HE KNOWS ABOUT CONSIDERING ALL THE SHIT MICHAEL AND BONNIE TALK ABOUT.
Freddy making THAT face is just like, damn okay we knew you hated Mike before but JEEEZ dude.
Bonnie's "Oh thank GOD" when Mike conforms he'll be safe is just sad. Poor Bonnie.
Freddy literally dragging this man away-
Tumblr media
OH NO.
IT'S A CRYPDID!
And damn it cut off. I was having fun.
do you still have the timelines for the dsaf routes i need them for something dont ask why
yea :-)
obligatory tw for manipulation, stalking, murder, child death, medical talk, forced lobotomy and suicidal idealization
radical/aubergine/gnarly/bad ending timeline (yes it does really have that many names.)
>dr henry miller starts fredbears family diner with william afton/dave miller
>scott cawthon starts freddy fazbears pepperonerie (an obvious play on fredbears family diner) and it INFURIATES henry (and william because henrys angry)
>henry does fucked up experiments on william (lobotomizes him to some degree, takes out his organs, etc etc etc) in an effort to “cheat death” and become immortal
>henry manipulates william into killing children because it would "let them live out their happiest days forever" and william, due to growing up homeless and unhappy, whole-heartedly believes this because he has no reason not to trust henry (to his knowledge) >jack kennedy is springlocked in the backroom and henry and dave use his death to get away with the murders, particularly the murder of a girl named dee kennedy, by labeling him as the murderer who then died, only for “the real fredbear” (a god-like entity in the form of a yellow bear) to show up and revive him so long as he promises to save childrens souls. following this jack skips town to live with his brother, peter kennedy
>henry tells william about his dead son, david, and william imprints on this and uses the alias dave/david miller
>dave works at ffp and kills children there while henry kills children at ffd
>henry is murdered and ffd is bought out by ffp, leading dave to work at ffp
>dave meets jack at ffp and dave negotiates that since jack is a "clean slate" he should help him murder five children, jack agrees and they lure five kids to the backroom and kill them
>phone guy/steven gets suspicious and he and dave both frame jack and get him springlocked in his suit (or killed by the police, really it doesn’t matter which)
>in dsaf 2 its confirmed jack survived because he’s functionally immortal and they once again kill children, however this time phone guy 2/peter finds out about this and engages jack in battle, only for “the real fredbear” to show up and be furious at this and then immediately fight jack, to which jack wins and kills “the real fredbear”
>in dsaf 3 dave(trap) is found rotting away in a building by jack and goes on a monologue of how he "knew he wouldnt leave him alone" and jack takes him back to the freddys location that jack now owns (uncle jacks family diner or whatever its called)
>davetrap and jack kill children, phone guy 3 (harry/jake/roger depending on who you choose) flips and phone guy 3 calls jack a terrible person before leaving
>davetrap springlocks jack to give him "immortality" and they go to vegas, where davetrap goes on a brief rant about how he realized he was never happy because jack never knew who he "really was" and confesses to being william afton
>davetrap takes jack to his "fazbunker" (note this is just the same place as we see in fnaf sister location) and shows him a chest containing a red scarf and other memorabilia from murders he’s committed, and thus jack has a realization that this is his dead sister dee's scarf and comes to the correct conclusion that dave/william killed his younger sister and framed him back during the ffd days, leading him to murder dave
good end/saved end/”THE end”
>everything is the same as before but this time you decline everytime dave asks you to kill kids and instead work with dee/the puppet to save the children via the happiest day minigame
>jack finds davetrap rotting and declines taking him back to uncle jacks family diner and davetrap sobs and cries and yells about how he should've known he would do this to him and begins begging jack not to leave him alone, but of course jack does and he heads home
>jack goes into "the flipside" via an arcade machine and sees dave just kind of. chilling. jack is reasonably caught off guard and they have a talk where dave explains the flipside is where souls come to chill and that this first layer is based around the 70s-80s fazbenders locations >they scurry around in here for a while before a child’s ghost appears and they fight him before jack frees his soul (and dave comments on how it feels nice to free a soul)
>dave makes a portal (this is never explained btw.) and they head off to the second layer of the flipside to find more souls to free
>they scurry around the second layer of the flipside for a bit before pressing a button to open a door for the prize corner where dee is, where it’s then revealed she’s the puppet
>dee engages jack and dave in battle because she doesnt believe dave is "truly sorry" and thinks jack is making some sick joke at her expense
>jack explains to dave that dee is it’s sister and jack tells dee not to worry because dave’s changed. she does not believe this and so dave tells her his entire backstory to which dee decides he’s pathetic and that she’ll work with him to save the souls for the childrens sake
>jack fucks off back to the reality and does reality shenanigans like running his business
>he comes back and they go into a portal to the third floor which is designed around 80s-90s fazbenders locations. on the third floor we meet steven who’s just been there the entire time, and he INSTANTLY assumes they're there to kill him and makes them battle robots until they find him huddled in a corner. he rambles about how he’s unsaveable and they should just leave him and jack has to pull him from his spiral to tell him he’s still worth saving even if he was a bit of a dick to everyone
>dave makes another portal and they head down to the last level of the flipside and jack and dee remark about it being peters house and how weird that is because only jack and dee would remember that place >they wander around for a while before finding peter sitting in a room, to which he remarks about being a trap and this confuses everyone
>jack’s soul appears in the form of “blackjack”, who is taking the form of jack’s dead dog sparky. blackjack is enraged that jack even exists, believing himself to be “the real jack kennedy” to which they argue and blackjack mentions how he has henry sitting in a void for all eternity as torment, this INFURIATES everyone to which they all collectively go “?? dude no we need to Kill Him.” and blackjack is pissed about it but he decides that “ok fine they can kill henry” so long as he gets to join them >they fight henry and during it he takes down everyone by nitpicking their deepest insecurities, besides jack who then revives them all and they kill that bastard
>everyone leaves except for dave and jack and it’s revealed that since jack doesn’t have a soul inside him he cannot go with, so instead he gives blackjack off to dave so that he won’t be alone >jack burns down his diner with him and every freddys animatronic inside and the plot of land is turned into a gravesite for william/dave, jack, dee, peter, and steven
RaF Timeline, 1-UCN
“Everything is left up to interpretation”
aka. Afton Era.
RaF’s story is very makeshift and collaged together by what fnaf has presented to us and from what I can gather. There are a lot of things I changed and added mostly for storytelling consistency and because I didn't like what Canon did.
Any recent canonical conformations on lore as of 2023 will not be part of this timeline because this was constructed into final stages prior to that new info, and I really don’t want to have to rewrite parts of this timeline because of certain details being confirmed in 2023 or 2024.
Anyway, I hope this info is helpful when you read this.
Also each chapter will have a year marker, to help the timeline flow
Chapter 0, "Where it All Started," 1974-1975
Raf's story starts off with the grand opening of 'Chica's pizza parlor' in fall of 1974, this establishment is owned by the company 'El Chip Emporium' which was founded by Alfred Williams and Max Lane. Only a couple months after the parlor's opening, another diner-esk location would open called 'Fredbears Family Diner' owned by Henry Emily and William Afton. This location would have opened in the spring of 1975.
Most of the beginning of this story is pretty peaceful until the "disappearance" of Susie Lee's dog Milo.
William Afton, would discover a little something called Remnant.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 1, "Play Test" 1978
Once William discovers some of Remnant’s capabilities, he decides to see if he can harness it for his own means, specifically immortality, so he needs to get more from a bigger and better source. Chica's pizza parlor would close in the summer of 1978 due to the death of Susie Lee. William would use the parlor as a test if he could kill and get away with it, body found or not. He would finally do his first collection of Remnant in his own diner using the fredbear suit as a "capsule." Cassidy Henderson would disappear along with the fredbear suit, and neither would be found.
Game appearances in chapter: Scene of Susie and springbonnie.
Chapter 2, "Familiar faces, New friends" late 1978
Fredbears needed an expansion. At least William said it was needed. That is when we meet some new yet familiar faces, them being Freddy bear, Bonnie bunny, and Chica chicken. Fredbears would gain the rights to chica chicken by 'El Chip Emporium', but she is still owned by El Chips. A new face by the name of Foxy would be added for some extra entertainment. Due to the disappearance of fredbear, an older model of fredbear would be taken out of storage and was to be used until the official fredbear was found. This expansion would be very beneficial for fredbears, growing in popularity shortly after. Due to this, William grew envious of Henry's skill, so he decided to start his own business in hopes of proving himself superior to Henry. This expansion would have happened during late 1978.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 3, “Greatest show unearthed” 1979-1980
Afton robotics would be established, and the first location owned by the company would be created called ‘Circus Baby’s Pizza World’ which opened in the summer of 1979. Afton would have worked tirelessly to complete this project and this project would have animatronic attractions called "the funtimes" they were afton’s biggest project and his biggest failure (I'll elaborate on that later.), Aftons least favorite thing about working on his project was when he had to ask Henry for help. (Afton sucks at character design, so he needed help.)
While to many it appeared like just another entertainment establishment, for Afton it was perfect for him to continue his plan in collecting Remnant and his immortality project. This location would be a huge hit with little holding it back, except for a short time closed due to an issue with the springlock suit funtime bonnie, due to this issue he would be decommissioned, but other then that little stood in the locations way. As 1980 went by, 3 children seemed to just disappear, these three kids would be Rose Adam, Rodger and Matheew gardner. This location would come crashing down to a close with ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶a̶t̶h̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶E̶l̶i̶z̶a̶b̶e̶t̶h̶ ̶A̶f̶t̶o̶n̶ an abrupt gas leak.
Game appearances in chapter: Circus baby minigame "conclusion"
Chapter 4, "Domino effect" late 1981
The Afton Family wasn't perfect, far from it, and it always seemed one thing would cause the whole family to come crumbling apart. That event just so happened to be Elizabeth's death. This death would cause a massive rift between William and the rest of the family, specifically between him and his wife Michelle. Elizabeth's death devastated Michelle and learning that William's creation was the cause felt like a spear going through her heart, her pain and fear would boil and manifest into paranoia of the same thing happening to Michael and Joseph (crying child.) William and Michelle would bicker and fight until Michelle had finally had enough and wanted a divorce… she would never be able to go through with the divorce as she would be murdered in the night by william.
Game appearances in chapter: none, we'll technically in midnight motorist, the weird pile of dirt you can find is a reference I would use to what William did with Michelle's body.
Chapter 5, "You are the face of freddy fazbears pizza." 1983
William needed to start testing Remnants. He needed to learn what it could control and cling to. He also needs to know what a person can remember, and if they can function in a different body, it's all for his own benefit later. He would have tested the Remnant from the 4 kids that uh got yoinked at CBPW's on the funtimes. It was a failed success, he wanted to learn more about Remnant’s capabilities and he did learn more at a price of learning the souls remember his face, and have a bad reaction to learning all bodily functions are gone. it failed because the funtimes and the souls inhabiting them are aggressive towards him and not willing to obey him, he would get royally fucked up by them and would never come back down to the facility after that. Fredbears was all William had for a job and for his work. Jeremy Howard would have gone missing in September of 1983, and his two best friends, Gabriel Cooper and Fritz Simmons, would follow suit only a few days after. I think we all know who was responsible for their disappearances.
Game appearances in chapter: Foxy go-go-go minigame
Chapter 6, "Thank you for bringing us home." 1983
While William is off um murdering and doing Remnant shit, his last two family members are uh not doing too well, Michael afton has so much pent-up anger from the loss of his sister and mother, the serious absence of his father, and desperation for his father to just acknowledge him(both Liz and Michael wanted William to just love them. Dad issue duo.) He began to torment his younger brother. Joseph Afton (C.C) is too afraid of his own home because of his brother's torment and his father's rare mistreatment and neglect. Joseph began to attempt finding comfort in his 'friends' as well as a being of his imagination created to be a placeholder for his sister and mom. As Joseph's birthday drew closer, Michael's torment got worse. It got bad to a point. Joseph was scared to go home and scared to go to Fredbears. Everything got even worse once the Nightmares started.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 7, "FNAF 4" 1983
Joseph began to have trouble sleeping and even when he could, all he had were Nightmares, the Nightmares were all about him being trapped in his room as nightmarish versions of his 'friends' all hunted him down. These nightmares happened for a while but only became frequent 5 days before his 10th birthday. His birthday would not go well. He would be tormented by Michael and his friend again, this time with a dark twist. I think you all know where this is going. Child put in Fredbear's mouth, hahaha oh shit kids head go smoosh, and dead. Joseph would die but not pass on. He would instead haunt his 'friends' as well as the fredbear plush and would begin to torment Michael in his dreams as revenge. Fredbears would close due to this incident.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF 4 with slight design, story, and mechanic changes
Chapter 8, "The safest place on earth" early 1984
The Springlock suits have been discontinued, and Fredbears was rebranded to be ‘Freddy Bears diner’ with the side stars now the main attractions. This would be a relatively peaceful time for fazbear entertainment, but It would be kind of short, mostly due to fazbears' rep. at this point. I mean no it was fine, no murder or disappearances or anything ̶I̶'̶m̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶p̶a̶i̶d̶ ̶o̶f̶f̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶F̶a̶z̶b̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶E̶n̶t̶e̶r̶t̶a̶i̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶,̶ ̶n̶o̶ ̶n̶o̶ ̶i̶t̶s̶ ̶t̶r̶u̶e̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶r̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶m̶e̶. The reason this location would close is because of the death of Charlie Emily…
Yeah no murders at all.
Game appearances in chapter: Security Puppet mini game and FNAF 2 Save him minigame.
Chapter 9, "A Quick Intermission" late 1984
Every murderer needs an accomplice, or at least that's what William believes. At this point in the timeline is when afton knew if he continued his “work” without help he would surely get caught, he needed someone that could help him and if worst comes to shove take the fall for him and he knew exactly who could be that accomplice. Henry Emily, William's long-time friend. With Charlie's death, William believed with what he had discovered. Henry would have to accept William's invitation ̶B̶l̶a̶c̶k̶m̶a̶i̶l̶. So William gave Henry a “job”, a job to go down to the underground facility (where the Funtimes are) and get some paperwork William had left behind down there, that said paperwork was all of William’s Remnant research. Even with Henry in his grief-stricken state, he still did what William had asked. He went down to the facility to get what William had asked for. Things would not go well for poor henry, he would find williams work and learn a bit too much and get fucking jumped by CB. He would survive the encounter with the work in toe, but he would not return the work to William. Due to this William would fear the worst and go into hiding.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 10, “New and Improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza” early 1987
Fazbear Entertainment needed a fresh start, a new identity that was still recognisable but new, a new freddys establishment. This would be the location that would first adopt the iconic name ‘Freddy Fazbear's Pizza’ and would be the first location owned under the company Fazbear Entertainment. This establishment would be managed by Scott Adam (Phone Guy), and the establishment would have new and improved animatronics commissioned to and built by Henry Emily. This was the fresh start Fazbear entertainment needed, and this location is bound to stay due to it priding itself on high security in not only staff but in the animatronics as well. Now all we need is staff.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 11, “Job available” early 1987
Every establishment needs employees to function longer than a day. This chapter is short and just about Scott hiring employees, and especially one rather familiar sketchy fella.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 12, “They even let them walk around during the day” early 1987
Freddys was a huge success. Kids came from all around to see a place as wonderful and safe as this. The parents loved it, the kids loved it, everything was going perfectly. Until some complaints rolled in by the night security guard, at night the animatronics had a strange tendency to move around at night and especially to the office. So he was switched to the day shift, and another employee would take his place, a man by the name of Jeremy Fritzgerald.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 13, “FNAF 2” late 1987
A very long chapter, encompassing events happening during the nights of fnaf 2 and the stuff during the day that our player character doesn’t get to see. I can't explain everything so I'll simplify what it is you can expect in this chapter. All the events in the FNAF 2 game, the save them minigame from a unique perspective, 5 additional dead kids, Aftons crimes finally begin to catch up to him, THE BITE OF ‘87!?!?!, and the permanent closing of Freddy Fazbears Pizza (FNAF 2).
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF 2 with slight design and mechanic changes
Chapter 14, “An overdue apology" 1988
We now head back to the Afton house, now only having the eldest son, Michael Afton, remaining. He had been doing his best and been trying to get by while living in his childhood home. Over time, he had started to have these frequent nightmares, all involving these nightmarish versions of familiar animatronic faces. It seems that these are just nightmares until certain ones start popping up in real life, and over time, Michael realizes that these nightmares are being conjured up by his deceased brother Joseph, who is out for revenge. Over the course of five nights, Michael deals with these new nightmare animatronics while trying to reach out to Joseph and make proper amends, and It works…kinda.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF 4 Halloween DLC but heavily altered
Chapter 15, “Another contender in children's entertainment” mid 1990
After many years of silence Afton Robotics has finally brought back their animatronics into the limelight with the new establishment “Circus Baby’s Entertainment and Rental”, with the unfortunate closing of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza this felt like the perfect time to bring new and old faces back into the childrens entertainment industry. This entire establishment brought a new light to animatronic entertainment, with the animatronics being rented out for private parties instead of just sitting on a stage and being open to anyone, this renting out decision made birthdays more special to the children, and put more money in the companies pocket. Things were going well until a new employee showed up.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 16, “FNAF SL” mid-1990s
‘WELCOME EGGS BENEDICT’
Michael had received a letter from his father about this new location opening called “Circus Baby’s entertainment & rental”. The letter told Michael to go and work at the facility as a night shift technician, and “free his sister” as afton put it. Now Mike really missed his sister (his whole family in general, well minus afton but you know) and out of loneliness, desperation, and some delusional hope that his sister may still be alive he did what his father asked. Now we're into the events of SL’s game, and most of it stays the same with the only change being some game events happening differently. This whole chapter ends with the whole scooping and “death” of Eggs Benedict.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF SL with some slight design and mechanic changes
Chapter 17, “You won’t die” mid-1990's
This chapter encompasses the experiences of Ennard through the week that they lived in Michaels' skin. we watch as their unity deteriorates as well as michaels body rotting away to a purple husk. It's an eerie chapter.
Game appearances in chapter: SL CN intermitions
Chapter 18, “BREAKING NEWS” late 1990
Afton is finally caught and tried for his crimes. We now wait on sentencing.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 19, “Fresh start” 1992
Due to the recent arrest of William Afton, Fazbear Entertainment (for whatever reason) decided to try again with a freddy’s location. This one would once again go by the name ‘Freddy Fazbear's Pizza’, smaller in size and with the older models now fixed and ready to perform for kids again.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 20, “Hello, Hello Hello?” late 1993
Freddys is open and ready for business now. All we need is a security guard. Luckily, we have our loyal employee Scott Adam ready to take on that responsibility. Chapter 20 is all about our dear phone guys last night shift, while he records messages for next week's night guard (he doesn't want to work for Freddy’s anymore, but he wanna get that check).
I think we all know how this is going so let's just skip to the end… He dies.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF 1 office and phone guy messages
Chapter 21, “FNAF 1” late 1993
Mike is back, and he is a corpse. Our new Security Guard is our dear boy Michael Afto- oh shit I mean Mike Schmidt is here. Michael takes this job in hopes of finding his father and possibly freeing the kids (that's why he gets fired). The rest of this chapter is just FNAF 1 affairs, with the closure of this establishment happening shortly after Michaels firing. This would lead to a long period of radio silence from Fazbear Entertainment. Due to this, many believed they were no longer an existing company.
Game appearance in chapter: FNAF 1
Chapter 22, “America’s most wanted” december of 1993
Shit Afton escaped.
He’s destroying the animatronics!!!!
Oh fuck he got springlocked…
Um…nevermind.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF 3 night intermission minigames and spring lock scene
Chapter 23, “COMING SOON: FAZBEAR’S FRIGHT” sometime in 2023
It’s been 30 years since William went SNAP!, CRACKLE!, POP! And 30 years since Fazbear Entertainment vanished. Some fresh out of college dudes wanted to make a horror attraction dedicated to the horror stories of the Fazbear entertainment brand. They are not architects, nor are they professionals, so they just picked an old abandoned building and got to work. They fixed it up as best they could and then began a hunt for memorabilia from Freddy’s and neighboring establishments. They would end up getting contacted by someone who knows “things” about freddy’s, his name was Mike and he would end up helping the boy’s out with their whole Spooky house of freddy’s ideas.
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 24: Part A, “FNAF 3” sometime in 2023
‘YOU’LL BE STARING AS… A SECURITY GUARD!’
Fazbear's Frights is almost ready to open, all they need to do is find a functioning animatronic and luckily they have a lead from an ‘anonymous’ source (*Loudly Whispers* It’s Henry), since they’ll be gone they’ll need a security guard to watch over the place. Mike volunteered to be their security, having experience in the field in all. FNAF 3 now begins. This chapter goes through all of FNAF 3, including the fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Mike escapes because he’s just that OP.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF 3 and Good ending minigames
Chapter 24: Part B, “Balloons” sometime in 2023
What’s happening inside the establishment as it burns and while William is still inside? Well, the OG missing kids and the additional 5 dead kids vibe checking afton and get to pass on to a happier place, hooray🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. William escapes, though, because he has cheats on. (Booo)
Game appearances in chapter: Happiest day minigame
Chapter 25, “Outside your window” sometime in 2024
Even with Afton dead (*Loudly Whispers* they don’t know he survived the fire) there were still threats roaming around (The funtimes, and the puppet who also survived the fire *Loudly Whispers* but they don’t know that yet either) so they need a plan, someplace to hold them and keep them in place so the souls can be freed…
Game appearances in chapter: none
Chapter 26, “Now Hiring at Freddy’s” late 2024
Fazbear Entertainment has opened up the opportunity for anyone looking to become a franchise owner and a manager of the person's very own Freddy Fazbears Pizza, (and make them money), so they sent out the news in the paper and with that action broke their radio silence. Mike and Henry saw this ad and took it as the perfect opportunity in executing their final stages of their plan, Mike signed up for the job application and got to work. Fazbear entertainment gave mike free rain over his establishment (they didn’t care what it is he did with it as long as it was for kids and made Fazbear entertainment money) so Henry and mike got to work on building there pizzeria and animatronic labyrinth trap.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF 6 tycoon
Chapter 27, “FNAF 6” late 2024
This chapter is a big boy with a lot to unpack, and due to Fnaf 6’s significance and importance to Fnaf’s Afton era as a whole this chapter is cut up into multiple smaller chapters, just to make everything more breathable and cohesive. These chapters are simplified down, but just know there is far more that goes on here that I just can't say.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF 6
Chapter 27: Part A, “You’re not who I expected to see…” late 2024
Monday…
A small establishment with little to it except some tables, plates, balloons, a ball pit, a duck pond, a sanitation station, and just Happy Frog on stage. We start the day, and it goes off smoothly, and now we go on to see what’s outside. Scrap Baby is the first one found outside, and the first one salvaged. 5 days left.
Chapter 27: Part B, “Thanks for letting me join the party, I’ll try not to disappoint” late 2024
Tuesday…
A larger establishment with far more for children to do, with arcade games and even a candy cadet (he’s kinda weird but he racks in money) and a bigger stage with more animatronics performing on it. The shift goes off smooth enough with slight disturbances but no danger present (thankfully). Let’s see what's outside today. Molten Freddy is the second one found outside and salvaged unsuccessfully… 4 day’s left.
Chapter 27: Part C, “Fascinating… what they have become” late 2024
Wednesday…
At this point, the establishment has grown exponentially since Monday, with attractions left and right, dual stages, and many entertaining animatronics for visitors to enjoy. With that, we head on into the shift. Oh shit we're actually in danger now. While it seems only Molten freddy is out for Mike, Scrap Baby is circling the facility but not attacking… yet. Luckily, Mike gets out of there quickly and efficiently and can head on into salvaging. Scrap Trap is the third one salvaged and salvaged successfully. It was quite an unpleasant surprise to see Afton, though.
Chapter 27: Part D, “I could hear you... breathing” late 2024
Thursday…
Mike tries his best to buy any and all animatronics that have or may have any connections to Freddy’s and its tragedies. Safety and security become a bigger focus to Mike with the pizzeria. He wants people to remember his establishment fondly even though it would burn soon. His shift is hell, with Afton now present all the animatronics are aggressive towards Afton. So not only does he have to do his task to finish his shift, he now has to avoid, deture, and control violent killing machines as well. He finishes his work and swiftly leaves onto salvaging whoever is outside if there is anyone that is. Scrap Ballora is the next animatronic found and salvaged. It's an unsuccessful salvage, but she's in the establishment now so… Task Failed Successfully?
Chapter 27: Part E “IT’S ME” late 2024
Friday…
Mike doesn't do much in his establishment at this point. He's just counting down to Saturday. He did buy a Black Bear named Lefty, I mean, 5 bucks is 5 bucks, after all. Anyway, onto the shift.
AAAAAAAAA-
Now onto the salvage.
Rusted Freddy (Golden Freddy) is the final animatronic salvaged, successfully salvaged may I add.
(Lefty is already in the building if you couldn't guess.)
Chapter 27: Part F “Fazbear Family” late 2024
Saturday…
We are just heading on into the shift, no Tycoon fun this time. Just the final shift Mike needs to complete. OMG, Mike's shift is hell on earth, all these violent animatronics scamping around the vents hunting him and Afton. As Mike finishes his work and is about to clock out, Afton makes it to Mike's office and attacks him. Afton has this egotistical speech, and then gets jumped by the Funtime animatronics. Henry does his little speech, the place is on fire, and everything is finally over. All the souls pass on to their happiest day, and Afton is finally dead.
Chapter 28 “An overdue greeting”
“DID YOU REALLY THINK WE WOULD NEVER MEET?…”
Time to meet your maker, Afton you son of a bit- uh anyway. This would be the point in the story where we would be introduced to Old Man Consequences, I know quite late especially since he is the Aus mascot but hey better late than never. He is this world's grim reaper and he is here to collect a run away soul. This chapter is just an intermission into UCN, but also a good breather after fnaf 6.
Game appearances in chapter: the burned down remains of Pizza Sim and 4th layer in FNAF world
Chapter 29 “Ultimate Custom Night”
This chapter is exactly as it sounds, Afton gets bullied by dead kids. This chapter is longer than it sounds.
Game appearances in chapter: UCN
Chapter 30 “leave the demon, to his demons. Rest your own soul, there is nothing else.”
We have finally reached the end of this era, and Cassidy and other souls finally found peace. Afton is dead and buried. Now all the poor souls connected to Freddy’s reside in a paradise where they can all live happily (the paradise world in question is fnaf world, look I love fnaf world I had to include it in my Au somehow.) It's such a sweet ending.
Game appearances in chapter: FNAF WORLD
Of course we know this isn't the end of Freddy’s, but it is the end of Afton so we can at least sleep easy knowing that.
We will head into part 2 of this timeline with “Failure to learn from the past, dooms you to repeat it.” aka the Mimic era. Which is from HW 1 onto (IDK that depends on how long Steel wool keeps the mimic around.)
Going Back: Ch. 12
~Coauthored by @zeitghest~
Fandom(s): Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach
Description: Things are looking up for Gregory. After putting the soul of a formerly-immortal killer to rest, he and his new family can finally begin their lives anew. Sure, Gregory might have been cursed with mysterious Remnant in exchange for being involved in this mess—not to mention his caretakers consist of sentient robots and ghosts… But there’s no doubt that the bond they share is unbreakable. They love him, and he in turn.
All in all, life is finally starting to go right for once.
…Unfortunately, true peace is a hard-won battle. There are other things to contend with besides William’s decrepit soul, and Gregory will learn that his role in the lives of the Aftons and Emilys is far greater than anyone could’ve imagined.
The group played for a good few hours, while their counterparts upstairs watched the camera feeds and laughed over good memories of the past. Eventually Henry's smiling face appeared, coupled with a clap of his hands to get everyone's attention.
“Ladies, gentlemen, rabbits and gators, I have an announcement to make!” the old ghost proudly announced, grin straining his cheeks so much they hurt. “We're ready for the final touches on the next android!”
There was a collective gasp from the room, although the Pizzaplex kids didn't quite get the hooplah of Henry's reveal. Freddy and Gregory seemed the most excited, with the former bear clasping his hands in front of his chest as he asked: “The Puppet is ready?!”
“You bet—all we need is Mari herself! Gregory, I'm requesting your help with that one.” Henry winked at the boy, then turned his gaze to the gator. “Actually... Monty, would you mind getting her? I'd send Freddy or Gregory, but it'd be suspicious and I want Mike and Charlie to be surprised!”
“Oh, sure!” Monty agreed, transferring Gregory to his dad's waiting arms. “Just lemme know where to find her, and I'll be back asap!”
After some instructions, Monty was sent to fetch her from the security office. He made sure to keep an eye out for Terry or other intruders along the way, but the only thing detectable moving through the area was Montgomery himself. As he neared the security room, he attracted the attention of the night guard and his current helpers as he passed through the camera feeds.
Puppet seemed more excited than worried as Monty jogged by his lonesome through the otherwise empty corridors. He passed a few powered-down security bots, careful not to bump their sleeping forms as Puppet tapped the glass of the screens to warn the guard of the approaching animatronic.
“Huh—would you look at that... I wonder if something's happening?” Charlie asked aloud. It was clear by Monty's gait that he wasn't in a particular hurry, so Charlie kept her tone optimistic.
Curious, she rose from her cross-legged position on the floor and lazily walked to the magnetized doors. After a quick press of the button, she stuck her head out in the direction she predicted Monty would come rolling on through. When the giant green gator finally came running around the bend, Charlie waved. “Heya, Monty! Where's the party at?”
“Heeeey, Charlie!” Monty drawled, his voice lax and chill as he halted just outside the door. “The party's downstairs; that's actually why I came all the way up here—Puppet, you're requested as a special guest! The kids've been beggin' for ya to come down and play. Nearly drove ol' Fredbear up a wall with all their yammerin'...”
“Wha—and what about us?!” Michael said in mock offense, pressing a hand to his chest. Monty threw his head back in a laugh, then gave a shrug.
“Sorry, Mike—ain't you s'possed to be workin' a little longer, anyway?” Monty questioned with a tilt of his head. According to his internal clock, night shift didn't end for another 47 minutes and 23 seconds. Hopefully that'd be just enough time to get Mari up and running in her new body.
Michael narrowed his eyes, then turned back to the camera feeds with a huff. “Fine. But tell Lizzie and Evan I'm crashing the next one for sure.”
“I'll pass along the message,” Monty snickered, then held out an arm for Puppet. “Here—climb on up and I'll give ya a ride, free of charge!”
Puppet curled her hands to her chest, so touched that the kids wanted her to come to their little party so badly! In no time flat she scaled Montgomery's arm to rest on his shoulders, giving him a squeeze and nuzzling the side of his head in an appreciative gesture. She had no idea that she was the guest of honor, and probably quite late to the shindig. She had an inkling over what this whole thing may be about, though didn't want to jump the gun and get her hopes up...
Charlie reached up and squeezed the Marionette's hand goodbye, but not before pointing a finger at Monty.
“You have her back by sun up, you hear?” she said with a smirk, as if a chiding mother sending her child out in the world with a friend. Puppet gave her hand back after quickly touching it affectionately to her cheek. Then she was fully braced on Monty's back and ready to head off.
In response to Charlie, Monty pulled down his glasses to give her a wink. Once Mari was settled he turned on his heel, tail swaying to and fro to counterbalance as he threw a wave over his shoulder.
“You're gonna be real happy when we get down there, I guarantee it,” the gator murmured once certain he was out of earshot, gently knocking his head against the Puppet's before picking up the pace. His eagerness got them to the basement in record time, only to find the little crowd had split into two groups: Gregory, Freddy, Evan, and Liz were waiting in the workshop proper with Henry, while the rest of the kids were left in the diner under Bonnie's care.
Puppet held on tight to Monty as they ran; heaven forbid she go flying off his shoulder's like a plastic bag caught in the wind. Upon their arrival,  all the kids there waiting to greet her with a rousing cheer—all except for Gregory and Freddy... She wondered if they were part of the surprise?
Regardless, Mari was happy to see Henry and happily flung herself off Monty's shoulders into his waiting arms. She gave him the same treatment she gave to Monty when she saw him. Greeting her creator with a squeeze around the shoulders, she could see where Freddy and Gregory were then...
In the back, the charging pod they'd used to trap William was being hooked up to the remote computer set up that Gregory had made. Now, it was being modified. With all its various output chords loaded into the laptop, the other side had one singular cable. There, it led to the delicately framed body of an android girl, her large eyes shut as if she were napping on the ground.
The Puppet was stunned into a frozen position. With her hands now pulled over her mouth, the sight of it finally being done had shocked her. Equally excited and nervous, Mari pulled on Henry's shirt as if needing a lifeline—something to grab onto while she seemed to vibrate in his arms.
After turning to see the arrival of the guest of honor, Gregory waved them over. With the computer in his lap and a victorious smirk on his face, the boy called: “Hey, I've got it figured out! Bring her over!”
Henry chuckled as he gave Puppet a tight squeeze. Though her rudimentary features seemed inexpressive at first glance, somehow the Marionette figured out how to translate her thoughts through gestures alone. However, even that had its limits. But now she'd never have to play charades again after tonight, if she so desired.
“We're going to transfer your AI over just like Gregory did with Freddy,” Henry explained as he carried Puppet over to the hot-wired setup. “Just a few connected wires here and there, a little code run through Gregory's software program, and voila! Hopefully it won't take more than a few minutes, and then you'll have a brand new body to walk and talk with!”
“It is just like going into sleep mode,” Freddy offered with a soft smile, just in case Mari was nervous about the transfer. She seemed more excited than anything, but then again it was hard to tell all the emotions she was hiding under that static mask.
When they reached the designated spot, Henry glanced down at his arguably most prized creation. In a way, he'd be sad to see the lanky Marionette without a consciousness after he'd just fixed her up, but he knew this would be better in the long run. With a raised eyebrow, he asked: “Ready?”
The Puppet waited just a moment. As Henry held her up, she could just barely make out her own reflection in the dark, soot-tinted glass of the charging pod.
Was this really what she wanted?
Looking around, she saw so many friendly faces. And while the Puppet knew she was loved just as she was by everyone around her, she wondered if it would be the same if she wanted to change?
But then Puppet’s gaze fall on the painstakingly pieced together android. With a pixie face and features that reminded her of her favorite human, Puppet felt her heart soar—as if this was who she was all along. Who she was meant to become after her conscious fused with Charlotte's so long ago...
Just when Gregory was about to ask if she was alright to go, the Puppet nodded, helping Henry by grasping the door and heaving the heavy metal slab ajar. Gregory knew to begin the program after Henry lovingly placed her inside. With the press of a few buttons and a rapid-fire typing of a command prompt, Mari was asleep inside the pod before she could really comprehend it. Her music box's key slackened, falling out of her back with a short clatter as her body relaxed into a wireless slump. Everything she was and could grow into was now traveling through the cables and ready to be downloaded into her newest model.
Gregory began to run the program as soon as the download was complete. The computer fan became hot with its CPU usage, and he had to hold the overheating device off his lap to give himself a break from the heat, keeping the laptop from melting in the process as phase two of the transfer begun.
“Okay... ETA is like a minute thirty seconds,” Gregory assured those waiting with baited breath around him.
Many of the kids couldn't hold in their excitement. Watching their friend waking up for the first time in her new body would be the highlight of the week; who could fault them when Liz and Cassidy relaxed knowing the download was going well, and their friend wasn't just lost inside a file somewhere in the old computer?
Then, it begun. A twitch in her hand, and a crinkle of her nose, Mari began to stir as her internal systems booted up. Before she opened her eyes, Mari rubbed at them and stretched her arms high above her head, working out her limbs. Then, straight ahead Mari glanced to the group. Her eyes were large and dark, an echo of Charlie’s yet bigger somehow, searching in the dim workshop and catching its meager light as she looked all around.
Then, she was up like a flash! Running and skipping to meet Henry, the considerably shorter android nearly knocked him over with the force of her hug, unable to stop the weird warm feeling that coated her face. It was tears that ran down her eyes and now stamped the front of Henry's shirt as she embraced him—actual tears, not merely painted onto a jester’s mask.
“Hi, sweetheart!” Henry couldn't help but laugh, the term of endearment slipping out completely of its own accord. She was like Charlie in so many ways, he couldn't help it—he'd designed the Puppet from Charlie's vision, and when fused together they'd been one and the same.
Now separated again, they had their own distinct personalities, although Mari would always have a little bit of Charlie in her... and vice versa. Really, she was just another kid in Henry's ever-growing adoptive family. Now, she had a human body to match!
The old ghost rubbed Mari's back in soothing circles until she finally pulled away, completely ignoring the wet stains on his shirt. He'd shed a tear or two himself, though he was quick to scrub those away before the girl saw lest she start crying anew. Instead he gently cupped her face in his hands, using his thumbs to wipe off the excess liquid from underneath Mari's large eyes. Henry smiled down at her, knowing he'd made the right choices in tweaking what used to be Charlie's predicted elder-teen face that the girl unfortunately never got to experience. If one were to look at his old and new daughters side by side, there'd be no question in anyone's mind that they were sisters.
“How do you feel?!” Henry asked, smiling as he finally released the tiny android.
The room waited with baited breath for Puppet to finally speak after so long. Henry knew what her voice box was supposed to sound like, but that didn't mean it would be exactly as predicted. Freddy's, for instance, had taken on a much deeper timbre than originally programmed to match the human-soul-influenced AI that now controlled his body.
Everyone seemed to be on the edge of their seats as the moment they’d all been waiting for had finally arrived. The former Puppet's eyes crinkled at the edges as she gave Henry a large grin, her voice coming out in note-like chimes to stick with Marionette's wholesome music box aesthetic.
“I'm so happy!”
There was no doubt that Charlie had an impact on the Puppet. While their voices were distinct from one another, she definitely had the same cadence as her ghostly counterpart.
“It's... everything I ever hoped it would be,” Mari admitted with a small sniff. Every feeling and sensation she had was so much more intense than experiencing it in her previous model. No more plush stuffing to mute the faux nerve endings. She turned slightly, wanting to look over the full group with her enhanced vision.
“I have SO much to tell everyone! I-I don't even know where to begin! Golly, I haven't been this wired since the 80s!” she said, bouncing in place with her new, more articulated joints. And then suddenly, she remembered—despite her immense love for those around her, Mari needed her other two favorite people around to celebrate as well.
“Ohmygosh! I need to get Charlie and Mikey! They're going to be so jazzed when they see me!” she buzzed, ready to zip off and rescue them from working the rest of the night.
Henry placed a hand over his heart as he listened to Mari speak. She was absolutely adorable, and he could feel the honesty and happiness in every word of that lilting voice.
“I'm so glad you love it, Mari,” he told her. With another chuckle he thought of Charlie and Mike sitting in a security office, not having the faintest clue about what just transpired below their feet. Rubbing the side of Mari's upper arm affectionately, Henry confirmed: “Bring them down here—I'm sure Sam won't mind if Mike slips out early for such a special occasion.”
Looking over her head, the paternal ghost locked gazes with Freddy and his son. “Fred, Gregory? Mind going with her? It'd be good for Mari to have back-up in case one of them passes out from shock.”
“It would be my pleasure,” Freddy agreed cheerfully, grinning as he helped Gregory to his feet. Approaching the freshly-commissioned android, he held out his elbow for Mari to wrap her arms around if she so desired. “Shall we go?”
Gregory bounded to his feet besides his father, laughing at how fast Mari rushed to cling to him.
“Thank you, Freddy! I'll be back soon, Creator,” she said, waving to Henry and the others as she hugged Freddy's arm. Then she looked to Gregory, smiling kindly an taking his hand in one of hers. She pulled him close and bumped him with her hip in a genial manner. “Gregory... Thank you for your help. You're such a smart kid.”
Without him, who knows when they would’ve figured out how to transfer her! Or if they’d even still be around to do so…
“Say, Gregory?” Mari asked the now flustered boy. “Do you think we should prank them? They won't recognize me! I've always wanted to join in on the pranks, but there's never been a good time...”
Blinking, Gregory couldn't believe that this was the same person that’d been slinking around in that eerie Puppet’s body this whole time. It was funny how used to the masked figure he was. Now that a normal girl was speaking to him, it was like he didn't know how to answer her for a moment.
“Uh… duh! We always look for reasons to prank Mike and Charlie,” he said with a chuckle. He hoped that Mari couldn't recognize his inability to socialize, as she seemed far too happy to notice his sudden awkward disposition.
“I will pointedly look the other way,” Freddy said as they began walking up the winding hallways, expression shifting into a rare grin of what could only be considered wickedness. “That is, unless you would like some help with this particular prank of yours...”
It was all in good fun, and he knew whatever Gregory and Mari planned would only end in happiness and laughter for the group of friends. Besides, earlier that night Freddy had been accused yet again of being too uptight—this was a perfect opportunity to have some genuine fun with the kids he adored so dearly.
Mari held a look of barely contained excitement as she leaned on her friend. Freddy was always so supportive, thought the Puppet. So, together they began their scheming on the way up to the surface of the Pizzaplex…
Upstairs, Michael was slumped forward on the security desk, chin resting heavily in one palm as he flicked through camera feeds.
“You know—” he began slowly, gaze shifting to where Charlie was once again seated on the floor. “—I can't believe I'm saying this, but I totally forgot how boring this job could be when nothing's actually happening. Don't get me wrong; I'd take dead silence over killer animatronics any day, but man...” He let out a wistful sigh.
“It’s probably a good thing nothing’s happening though, right?” Charlie asked with a laugh, gently kicking the underside of his chair as she spoke. She’d been laying on the floor, giving herself sun spots in her vision by staring at the fluorescent lights. She craned her head now as Michael spoke to her.
As the camera feeds slowly cycled at Michael’s attentive clicks, one thing soon stood out: a girl, thin and with short, shaggy hair could be spotted in the atrium by the Daycare. She was standing in the middle of the fountain, carelessly splashing away at the water. She even seemed to be collecting the loose change she found in the shallow waters before deciding to climb even higher on the structure towards the roof of the waterfall.
“Uh... who the hell's that?” Mike asked, instantly honing in on the movement. With another sigh, he pushed his chair away from the desk and stood, patting down his security belt in a habit that was still ingrained after all these years. Well, he'd just complained about a lack of action, so this must be the universe's answer.
“Alright, let's go—you're my back-up,” he announced, hoisting Charlie to her feet. He unlocked the security door and began walking swiftly to the atrium, thinking aloud as they went. “Looks like a kid to me—maybe a teenager? Not sure, but whoever it is I don't recognize them...”
Michael grimaced slightly, shooting a look at his more supernaturally-inclined friend over his shoulder. “Think it could be another missing kid that found their way up on their own? This place is locked down tight now…”
“No clue,” Charlie replied with a shrug, a little worried in case a teenager did somehow make her way into currently locked down Pizzaplex. Unless she snuck in the same time as Terry, she could’ve been here even longer. This town had a serious problem with watching where their children were…
It wasn’t a very long trip towards the Daycare. Hiding around the corner, Freddy and Gregory waited in the shadows, occasionally laughing to themselves and quickly shushing the other for fear of being heard by any passing night guards. But it was hard not to laugh! Watching Mari dramatically pick quarters and the occasional half dollar from the fountain like a kid who’s never even seen a penny before had them in stitches. When Marionette saw the guards fast approach from the corner of her eye, she pretended not to notice until Charlie called out at the base of the large water feature.
“Yo, kid! Get down! You’re going to get hurt up there!” she exclaimed, firstly concerned for the severe lack of sense this kid had for standing precariously at the top of the fountain.
To which the kid turned around and asked innocently, “Get down? But all the best coins are up here!”
“Down. Now.” Michael's tone left no room for debate. He clicked on his flashlight to shine it near the girl, careful to avoid her face in case the blinding light knocked her off balance. He placed his other hand on his hip, trying to stand in the most authoritative posture he could. “You see this uniform? I'm security. It's literally my job to make sure troublemakers like you don't knock their heads open falling off fountains. Now please get down so we can call your—wait a fucking second!”
The last past of Michael's speech was breathed out in a hiss, his eyes growing wide as dinner plates. With the flashlight's beam shining a low-light on the girl's face, Michael was able to make out her features—
Features that looked suspiciously similar to his best friend standing at his side.
“Oh my god... No fucking way...” The night guard seemed unable to form full sentences, his mind trying to process who exactly this girl might be. He'd thought Henry still had a few more days to go on his latest android creation, but... perhaps the man turned it into a rush job? Taking a step closer, Michael asked the girl in a hesitant voice: “...Mari?!”
“Oh, Mikey!” tutted the Marionette, pressing her index fingers into her cheeks as she shook her head at him. “You still curse like a sailor!”
She giggled, thinking it was funny how she’d disarmed them both so easily. They way Michael came in and thought he was going to tell her what to do had made a huge grin grow on her face. It warmed her heart too that Michael recognized her, and the girl would bat her heavy eyelashes at the pair.
Besides Mike, Charlie blinked at the sight of her favorite toy now come to life. It was like she was looking into a mirror that sent her about 40 years in the past, and Charlie nearly choked up over it. Mari looked amazing, and she would clamber into the pool of water to help her friend down from the top plateau.
“Mari?! Were you sneaking around on purpose? Oh man—you… You look—” Charlie stuttered, feeling Mari’s heavier body flop into her waiting arms.
“—I look spectacular? Amazing? As cute as a bug’s ear?” Mari said, knowing she did indeed look like her best friend. She was glad she got to copy her, as Mari thought Charlie was the best girl in the whole world and wanted nothing more than to emulate everything good she saw in her.
Freddy decided it was finally safe for he and Gregory to emerge. Leading his son by the hand, the pair stepped out of their hidden corner and walked over to the fountain.
“I see you found our friend!” Freddy called up to them, and Michael whipped his head around at the voice. With a raised eyebrow, the ursine man added: “I heard you by the way, Michael.”
“Aw, come on—you can't fault me for that!” Michael groaned. “I didn't know Gregory was around!”
Never mind the fact that if Mari had been just some random kid, they'd been subjected to a firsthand dose of Michael Afton's sailor mouth. To distract from being chewed out by the bear, Michael pulled the Puppet close to press his cheek against hers, making her face Freddy as well.
“Anyway—look! Henry outdid himself again.” A slight pause, where Michael's lips twisted downwards. “Wait... you were in on this, weren't you?”
“We didn’t expect you to recognize her so fast!” Gregory replied, wanting to stretch out the joke for as long as possible. “Oh man, Mike! You looked piss—angry! You looked so mad!” Gregory raved, nearly slipping up and cursing in front of his dad in the process.
Charlie squeezed the former Puppet, pulling her back as she found Michael bogarting the mini-version of herself. “Who wouldn’t recognize her? It’s obviously Mari!”
Suddenly being held up by the underarms like the doll she used to be, Mari found herself heating up in the face. She wasn’t used to the attention, usually taking to quietly soak in the parties and get-togethers in the background. Now that she was the center of the everything, she had the sweetest little smile and sparkles in her eyes at all the positive focus on her.
Freddy ruffled Gregory’s hair a bit more harshly than usual, but that was the only consequence the boy received for the near-curse. It was too joyous of an occasion for Freddy to worry about his son almost taking after his big brother’s potty-mouth.
“The others are all waiting for us downstairs,” he announced, releasing Gregory’s hand to move closer to the fountain. “Mari was so excited to get you two in on the fun that we did not have time to properly celebrate!”
“Oh, well that’s no good.” Michael shook of his head, then proceeded to yoink Puppet out of Charlie’s grasp and carry her down the fountain, cautious of her dangling feet just above the water. Once clear of the puddles Michael set the girl on solid ground, then pulled out his phone. To his relief it was 5:56, so he didn’t feel bad about technically skipping out on his night guard duties early. Still, he sent Sam a private text reading:
Ur dad got Puppet into her new android!! We’re going to the basement to hang out; sorry to cut out 4 minutes early lol… coast has been clear all night since we last talked. How’s Chica?
While Michael typed, Freddy used his tall stature to help Charlie down from the fountain, giving her an amiable side hug afterwards. She and the Puppet’s happiness had always been infectious, so the two of them combined were a force to be reckoned with that made Freddy’s cheeks hurt from the unflappable grin he wore.
Charlie was happy to embrace the old bear. She’d missed him and Gregory in her escapades tonight, and took to messing up the boy’s hair with both hands much to his dismay. Gregory playfully smacked away her palms, which resulted in a low velocity slap-fight. When Mari was set down on the ground, Michael may have found it hard to text as she wrapped her arms securely around his waist and clung to him as if she were still her tall and lanky self.
“I missed you guys so much…,” the old security bot proclaimed in her melodic voice. As she spoke, a text message alert would sound on Michael’s phone.
Ball joint. Chica’s head. I have to find a soft mallet to smack her head back on right. She’ll be up and running soon.
You could practically feel Sam’s frustration with what should’ve been a simple project. He sent another as Michael finished reading the last one.
Have fun! Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do
Giving Michael his blessing to clock out and go hang out with the others. Mari in the meantime had detached herself and put her hands way above her head.
“Guys! I can do cartwheels like Charlie now! Watch! Watch me—” she said, tipping over and whipping herself over to do a handstand. Though this seemed to be her first time at attempting one; when her arms gave out from actually feeling the weight of her body, she crumpled into a small heap with her legs over her head.
“OOPS!” she groaned, laughing when she found herself pulled upright by Charlie’s helpful hands. “Oh… Maybe not! Hehe~”
“Be careful!” Freddy chimed in, quick to assist Charlie in pulling the smaller android to her feet. He brushed some wayward dirt off the back of her shirt as he gave her a look of understanding. “A new body may take a bit of time to get used to.”
Michael snickered at the former animatronic’s acrobatic attempt. “Yeah, now you’ve got to deal with proportionate limbs. Kinda sucks sometimes—oof!”
The guard nearly toppled over as Mari latched onto him in another hug, though whether this was due to her overwhelming emotions or simply to shut him up, he hadn’t a clue. Even so, he wasn’t going to complain. He’d gotten used to the long limbs of Puppet wrapping around him, but it was admittedly nice to feel something a bit more… solid. It was different being clung to by a robotic security doll versus what for all intents and purposes was “human”. Leaning his elbows on top of Mari’s head as a resting place, Michael texted Sam back:
You sure you don’t need help?? I could swing by on the way to the basement… maybe take Fred and Gregory, if you want
He paused, then with a shit-eating grin added:
I don’t want u to stress yourself out & keel over, old man; please let me know if I can help
He’d never be able to get away with treating any other boss like this, but Sam was a special case. Plus, he hoped his sincere offer of assistance cut the harshness of the jibe, if only slightly.
With Mari content to be used as a stand for Michael's phone as long as he let her hug him, she rubbed her head into the side of his ribs. This old habit of greeting people and showing her love would be a hard one to kill given nonverbal cues were her only ways of talking until now. Anticipating his text messages, a typing bubble had popped up on Sam's side and he was quick to retort.
Ha ha very funny, geezer. I'll take it easy when I'm dead lol. I just ask that you, Fred and Charlie stick around for when the morning shift shows up. I have this whole itinerary planned involving introducing you guys.
How Sam ever found the time for any of this was beyond the comprehension of his loved ones. The Devil worked hard, but Samuel Emily works harder when he has a deadline and sixteen consecutive hours of sleep over the past four days.
Apparently Charlie had gotten tired of Michael hogging Mari again, and slowly slipped her very pliable arms from around him. Unhooking her grip and picking up her old friend into her arms as if she were some giant doll, Mari very much tolerated being held like this and even laughed as Charlie stole her back.
“We have a lot to talk about, Mari,” Charlie said affectionately, hoisting her friend up and swinging her gently, limp legs sweeping a foot from the tiles as they walked.
You got it, boss. We’ll meet you in your office at 7; give staff some time to show up
After finalizing plans, Michael slipped the phone in his pocket and glared at Charlie’s retreating back. She may have snatched Mari away but there was another, even more malleable person around for Mike to carry. Gregory was subsequently snatched under the arms and flung into the air, then transferred to Mike’s shoulders when he came down.
“Charlie, Freddy—Sam wants us to stick around for a bit before we head back to the hotel so he can introduce us to dayshift,” Michael announced.
“That is fine,” Freddy said, noting Gregory clearly having the time of his life towering over everyone. “Superstar, perhaps you can stay in Sam’s office while we are busy? I do not think it wise to show your face just yet, and it will take a while to retrieve you from the basement if you remained there…”
Not that anyone thought Gregory wanted to be around so many people right now anyway—especially strange adults. The only two he’d know were Sophie and Vanessa, and he didn’t have the best track record with either of them.
Gregory tapped the top of Michael's head, sitting on his shoulders and wondering if they could sneak into a movie like that—it reminded him a little of the old cartoons. Gregory himself even wondered if he was just especially aerodynamic, making throwing him around irresistible to the others.
“Please,” Gregory said, clearly not up for meeting anyone new. If they were a ghost or a robot, he'd be more into the idea. But no more people, and certainly not now. “I was gonna ask to stay behind, honestly.”
“I'll watch him! I love Gregory,” Mari announced, able to tell the boy was becoming cagey at the thought of meeting new people. You didn't have to look at her to hear the smile in her voice. “I'm the best security ‘droid around! Well, besides from Mikey.”
“I’d gladly share the title with you,” Michael snickered
Hearing raucous voices approaching outside the workshop, Henry had stepped into the hallway to greet everyone, arms crossed and eyes sparkling as he took in the happy group.
“Glad to see Mari found you!” he laughed, clapping Michael on the shoulder as he passed. The guard had to crouch upon entering to avoid smacking Gregory’s head on the doorframe, and once inside it appeared the whole crowd was still hanging out.
Evan, Liz, and Cassidy were sitting near Hannah as she practiced her guitar under Bonnie’s watchful tutelage. Meanwhile, in the other corner Cain and Quinn were using Monty as a jungle gym, clambering up his side, over his shoulder, then down his tail and repeating the process. What made this game special was the gator’s penchant for randomly snapping his tail in a whip-crack motion, flinging whichever boy was unfortunate enough to be on it in an unspecified direction. Monty found that not only did these twins match perfectly with his roughhousing tendencies, but their ability to not get hurt meant they could play in ways that would probably make Freddy tear his hair out if he tried with a non-ethereal kid.
“Hey, y’all made it back!” the gator greeted with a friendly wave. “We were startin’ to think we’d hafta ditch the party before it got started.”
“We’re here for an hour,” Michael told the room, finally setting Gregory on solid ground. “Then some of us have boring work stuff to do upstairs.”
If Gregory was lucky, Quinn and Cain would now be too tired out from messing around with Monty to come and bother him. Not that the boys were that mean to him anymore. Then again, Gregory hadn't done much to provoke them lately... When Gregory heard the guitar playing, he attempted to steer Michael into walking by Bonnie's open guitar lesson.
“She's already getting better,” Gregory whispered to Mike, surprised at the progress she made. Maybe as a ghost she didn’t need callouses to easily press down on the frets of the guitar. He admired her playing from afar, watching Hannah and the others as his head rested on the top of Michael's like a pillow.
Mari had wormed her way gently out of Charlie's grasp and ran to the boys. She’d seen Quinn being launched back towards the darkness and found nothing at that moment more delightful. First, though, she’d stop to greet Henry; the man who made all of this possible for her deserved the attention. She would slide into Henry's leg and latch on tight, squeaking slightly from the effort.
“Hiiii!” she sang, her eyes shut tight.
“Hey!” the old ghost laughed, scooping the little android up into a proper embrace. When Charlie came within grabbing range he snaked out an arm to catch her, reeling her into the group hug. Noticing that Freddy was now alone, Henry called to him with a grin. “Get in here, Fredbear!”
There was no choice but for Freddy to oblige, falling onto the Emily's with a chuckle and basking in the warmth.
What an odd family, Charlie thought to herself. Still, it was better than being alone inside a rotting diner. She counted herself lucky as she was squeezed around all sides.
“Creator—” Mari cooed affectionately, sandwiched between Henry and Charlotte in their group hug. “—what are you working on next? Charlie and Michael have been severely pranked. Michael cussed so hard at me!”
“I think that’s enough practicin’ fer today, carrot-cake,” Bonnie said as Gregory and Mike made their way over, leaning forward on the bending milk-crate he chose for a throne. “Just remember to practice your chord progression. And really make it dynamic! Speed it up, slow it down. It’s all about trainin’ your hands.”
Gregory listened to Bonnie talk; he’d never thought the dopey Bunny would make such a good teacher. As if reading his mind, Bonnie hid his mouth with his hand and said as a little group secret to all the kids and Michael: “You know, I’m the one that taught Montgomery Gator how to slap a bass! Shhh, he doesn’t know I tell people that—”
Of course, Monty’s advanced hearing—tuned into the rabbit especially now that he was up and about—picked up on Bonnie’s comment.
“I can hear ya, cotton-tail,” he murmured, though his tone was nothing but playful. Having tired the blonde twins out sufficiently, Monty ambled over to the musical group and placed a hand on his hip, grinning down at Hannah as he jabbed a thumb to his chest. “Bon mighta taught me a few things, but I know my stuff, too! You call me if you ever get bored of the ol’ purple chatterbox here, got it?”
“Got it,” Hannah giggled, a bit overwhelmed by all the attention. She got to her feet, the guitar clutched tightly to her chest as if she never wanted to let it go. She did set it down after a moment, only so she could wrap her arms around Bonnie’s neck in a tight hug, burying her face in his shoulder. She felt happy, she really did… but things were still overwhelming sometimes, and Hannah had a feeling they would be for quite a while.
But Bonnie? He felt safe, and Hannah would cling to that any chance she got.
“Thanks, Bonnie,” she said quietly, squeezing tight. “I’m super glad I got to meet you.”
Bonnie hands sort of hovered hesitantly over Hannah’s back for a moment. Sure he received sentiments of affection from children frequently. Then, there was Hannah and her sweet and mellow words. She was somewhat of an odd kid out here—too demure to catch up with the rowdy twins, and too new to really know the old ghosts. She seemed to have most in common with Gregory—though he wasn’t always here…
Hannah needed someone. A mentor! Bonnie could be like that…
It was funny, as Bonnie finally accepted the hug and put what he thought of as his soul into it: it felt warm. Like he’d been away from home for a week and just found it again.
“You need anythin,’ you come find me or Monty now, you hear me?” Bonnie asked of her gently. “You’re my friend now, Hannah. Please take good care of my ol’ guitar. She’s very special to me…”
Sensing this was a bonding moment for the two of them, those in the immediate vicinity wandered off to different parts of the workshop. Evan trailed along as Michael took Gregory back to the newly refurbished Mari and her group, where Henry was currently telling the android in a jovial tone: “You can just stick with ‘Henry,’ you know—no need for all that ‘Creator’ stuff!”
“Oooops!” Mari said feeling sort of embarrassed. Maybe calling him that was sort of putting him on a pedestal. But he was a person worth doing that to, in Mari’s opinion.
“What are you up to, Henry?” she tried it out, though it almost seemed like the first time Charlie had used his name aloud.
“…We’ll work on that, kiddo,” Henry chuckled at Mari’s strained attempt. He shook his head lightly, musing on how pleasantly strange it was for what had been a silent, masked animatronic for forty-odd years now, in a way, seemed like a kid experiencing the world for the first time.
“As for what I’m doing—” the old ghost continued, suddenly reaching out and pinching one of Charlie’s cheeks with a triumphant grin. “—I’m currently annoying my adorable daughter. But if you’re wondering what my next project is…” Henry’s deep eyes flickered to the approaching Afton’s—specifically Michael. He looked back at Mari with a wink. “That’s a secret for now. Maybe I’ll fill you in then we’re not in mixed company.”
“You talking about me?” Michael asked with an accusing glare, suspicious of the man’s side-eyed glance.
“Of course, Mike—I’m spilling your deepest, darkest secrets,” Henry responded in a deadpan so serious, for a second Michael’s eyes started to widen until his uncle cracked another grin. “No, we’re talking about something else. Although I did hear you cussed up a storm in front of Mari’s innocent little ears?”
With eyes rolling to the sky, Michael replied: “Look, I was surprised, okay? My filter disappears when I’m surprised. Also, hate to break it to you, but she is not innocent despite that fresh new face.”
Mari knew exactly what Mike was referring to when he claimed she was a little less than innocent. Not that Henry would know the extent she’d once intended to take her revenge. She chose to plead the fifth, not saying a word. She was supremely content to have Henry believe she was a perfect creation incapable of doing any wrong. Though to err was human, and Mari was one of the more human AIs to come out of Fazbear Entertainment.
Charlie could feel like her cheeks might bruise with her dad’s pinches. Laughing, she would playfully push his hand away and exclaim to the group: “Oh! Are we telling embarrassing Mike stories? I have a bunch of embarrassing Mike stories.”
This caught Gregory’s attention, and he looked to Charlie with intrigue. He leaned in over Michael’s shoulders and asked her “What?! You’ve been holding out on us!”
Charlie raised her hands and shook her head in response. “Unfortunately, I can’t spill any of them—Mike knows all my embarrassing secrets. That wouldn’t end well if I told you anything…”
“Yes, Charlotte, did you forget we have enough dirt on each other to fill the Grand Canyon?” Michael threatened with a wide grin.
Though their human lives ended much sooner than they should’ve, the pair had gotten in enough trouble over the years to form bonds and memories that surpassed time and space. Now that things had returned to a sense of normalcy, it was admittedly nice to joke about such things.
“Oh?” Henry crossed his arms, giving his daughter a look of paternal suspicion she hadn’t seen in a very long time. “And I’m guessing much of this information would be news to me, too?”
“Uh… sorry, Henry; best friend code, and all that!” Michael gave a nervous sort of laugh. If Henry knew the sort of trouble he’d gotten Charlie into, they’d both be grounded for eternity.
“That’s alright,” a tiny voice chimed in. Evan, silent and observant as ever, floated up next to Mari and wrapped his arms around her shoulders for a change, gazing up at Mike with bright eyes. “You guys might’ve hung out all the time, but Liz and I lived with him—I know sooooo much stuff you wouldn’t be able to dream of!”
Michael let out an offended gasp, his expression twisted in shock. “Traitor! You better keep that little mouth shut, or—”
“Or what?” The smirk on Evan’s face rivaled the one Michael usually wore. He clung to Mari tighter and added in a sing-song voice: “Good luck catching me! I can float!”
“I’ve got dirt on you too, you know…”
“Not nearly as much as I’ve got on you, Mikey.” The little Afton’s grin turned positively wicked. “Remember the George Michael poster…?”
This shut Michael up immediately, jaw clenched tight as he glared daggers at his little brother. Whatever happened between him and that poster was for them alone to know—and Evan too, apparently.
Gregory looked at Evan with a peculiar glance. Obviously whatever he said was lost on the kid and voiced that confusion. “Who’s George Michael and what did you do to that poster…?”
“George Michael? You know, the guy from Wham! He sings Careless Whisper?” Charlie said, focusing less on what Michael may have exactly done to the poster to begin with. When Gregory still looked confused, Charlie sighed and really felt old in that moment. “Kids these days don’t know who George Michael is. Wow…”
“But,” Gregory interjected, now looking to Evan. “What did he do to the poster—”
Thoroughly interrupted when Charlie gently yanked Gregory from Michael’s shoulders, she told him “Hey! I think you should go play with your friends! We’re going to be leaving in a little and you need to get some sleep soon.”
“Unbelievable,” Michael griped, though he flashed Charlie a thankful look for ending that line of questioning. As she took Gregory away, Michael watched as Evan dislodged himself from Mari before grabbing the ghost in a headlock, rubbing his knuckles fiercely against his short brown hair. “And you are getting waaaay to cocky!”
“Ugh—Mike, nooo!” Evan wailed, trying in vain to free himself from his brother’s iron grip. Then in a blink he was gone, only to reappear behind Michael’s back and use the imbalance of his sudden disappearance to shove his brother forward. When Michael hit the floor with a grunt, Evan pounced on his back with a triumphant laugh, and the pair devolved into a mini-wrestling match right there on the floor.
“Goodness…,” Freddy murmured, at the same time Henry breathed out:
“Honestly…” in the same mildly exasperated tone. The pair shared a look, in full agreement that the Afton’s were all trouble in one way or another.
“GO EVAN, GO!” Gregory shouted over his shoulder, watching as Charlie clutched her sides. She wheezed out a laugh, unable to help herself as she saw Michael be swiftly taken down to the floor.
Over by the front of the defunct diner, Bonnie was standing against the wall, his arms crossed then dramatically whipping his palms out whilst pantomiming strumming something.
“C'mon Monty. You should pick up the banjo! You'd be the best one to learn how to 'hammer claw' anyway,” Bonnie was currently attempting to convince. Apparently banjos weren't very Glamrock...
Lizzie even agreed with Monty, laying on the floor and staring towards the ceiling with an annoyed expression plastered on her face.
“No one uses banjos in rock music, dumb bunny...,” she muttered.
“Like the lil’ lady said, I’m not playin’ a dang banjo!” Monty reiterated with a shake of his head. “We hear enough twang from that accent of yours—we don’t need those strings addin’ background music!”
Hannah tried to suppress a giggle, as well as the urge to point out that Monty’s accent was just as pronounced, albeit from a different part of the south. She held her tongue on that matter, though was still quick to point out: “Isn’t there another instrument you can learn?”
“We can learn anything if given the proper software update,” Freddy’s low voice chimed in. After Henry assured him that this “fight” between the Afton brothers was nothing more than playful, Freddy chose to let them be and join his best friend and their companions. Crossing his arms, the ursine man leaned casually against Bonnie’s side as he smiled up at Monty. “Perhaps you can pick up the accordion, Monty? I think it would suit you.”
The gator stared at him with a dull expression, slowly pulling down his glasses with the tips of his claws in an exaggerated gesture of incredulity. “…If you’re serious, Fredbear, then you’ve got a few screws loose in your fancy new head. I ain’t playin’ the banjo, and I sure as heck ain’t playin’ the accordion.”
Freddy shrugged, chuckling at Monty’s reaction. It was nice to joke around with his friends again without fear they’d turn into monsters when the clock struck midnight. He hoped Chica and Roxy would be up and running soon—then he’d get to hang out with all his companions. Looking down at Gregory, his smile softened. Roxy would undoubtedly take a liking to the spitfire kid, and Freddy knew Chica would think he was the most adorable thing. He really couldn’t wait for them to all meet again under better terms.
Bonnie kept a straight face, both Lizzie's and Monty's words didn't faze the happy-go-lucky rabbit. Then when Freddy mentioned the accordion, Bonnie had let loose a howling laugh. He could picture Monty playing the accordion! And that picture in Bonnie's mind made him cover his mouth.
“—Wait! Fredbear's onto somethin'.” Bonnie snorted, the children all gathered around now to watch the three interact. “We'll pioneer a new genre! Experimental Glam Folk. It'll be our side gig. Hannah! Do you wanna be our guitarist?”
Gregory laughed at the big rabbit. Who would think of something like that? He did have some faith in Bonnie that if he actually got his band to do this, there was a good chance he could find a way to make it sound good.
Meanwhile, an unsupervised Mari was digging around in the charging pod. After finding her old model resting peacefully on the ground, safe and sound in the still puddle she fell over in, she took hold of its mask. After a few tugs and a gentle twist, the cosmetic face panel came loose. It would make a neat mask, she thought. Besides, it was familiar in what seemed like a totally new world for her.
Monty held the side of his head as he shook it. “Naw, y'all are crazy—I'm supposed to be a rock star, not in a folk band! Get Chica to play with ya—she'd probably be into it.”
With another hearty laugh from Freddy and Bonnie, the pair began talking logistics of forming a folk band with Hannah, Chica, and Monty—completely disregarding the gator's reluctance, of course. The kids listened with rapt interest, feeling very much like they were watching a live-action version of Fazbear and Friends. Michael and Evan eventually made their way over after agreeing that they'd postpone their ongoing wrestling battle for another time. Henry and Mari watched from afar, chatting about all the things they'd never gotten to.
Well, Henry had been able to speak to Puppet quite a lot over the years, but for the first time she could actually talk back.
Could you make a concept for Fluffy AU! Golden Freddy based on the ideas you made with some anons?
Sure! I'll see what I remember for this... my memory is so poor lol. If I forgot something I'm sorry cause I know it was SOMETHING.
There was a whole lot of rambling in this, Sorry if that ruined things but you have more Fluffy AU lore now-
Here's the fic that had some of the ideas in it.
Yandere-ish! Fluffy AU! Golden Freddy/Fredbear Concept
(Mostly just explains his role)
Pairing: Romantic/Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Experimentation, Death, Undead animals, Overprotective behavior, Occult themes, Murder, Split personality, Trauma, Implied sadism, Trust issues.
Tumblr media
The origin of Fluffy AU! Fredbear and Springbonnie are entwined together.
They were created together and were the first successful attempts in Afton's twisted experiments.
Like his compatriot, Fredbear is very friendly and loves to befriend his handlers.
You are most likely assigned as one of the bear's handlers and that's how you meet him.
Fredbear is very affectionate towards you once he thinks of you as a friend.
He's large and furry, often giving you "bear hugs" to show his affection.
Fredbear is always seen in a purple hat and tie, looking like a living anthropomorphic bear.
He has claws and sharp teeth although would never want to hurt anyone.
Towards his darling he's obsessive and protective.
You often feel the bear nuzzle into you and call you his friend.
You couldn't blame yourself for getting attached.
Fredbear really did begin to feel like your friend after awhile.
You nearly forgot he was meant to be an experiment until Afton announced the next stage of his plan.
Afton now knew how to complete his experiments correctly thanks to Fredbear and Springbonnie.
He already had a new bear, bunny, chicken, and fox planned.
But what was he to do with the prototypes?
Experiments of a different kind... what would happen if you tampered with the undead?
Afton is an ambitious man
When you had left work after hugging Fredbear goodbye for the day, you were alerted he had passed away.
You were never told why.
The whole situation felt strange to you as you thought Fredbear was in perfect health.
You have a feeling Afton is behind it... but it is not your place to ask.
It's after the death of Fredbear that Golden Freddy is "born".
Afton is a man who likes to tinker with the paranormal.
He likes to play god.
His experiments with the killed by undisclosed means deceased Fredbear and Springbonnie are paranormal in nature.
Which results in Golden Freddy gaining supernatural powers.
Powers such as... teleportation.
Golden Freddy used to be friends with the undead rabbit Springtrap.
After a gorey fight between the two due to Springtrap's sudden aggression, that stopped quickly.
Especially when it ended in the golden bear's eyes being gouged by the rabbit.
You're told to stay away from the two prototypes due to the experiments becoming unstable.
You were instead sent to keep an eye on the newer experiments and their growth.
Golden Freddy and Springtrap were locked away in a lab until they could be properly disposed of.
Unfortunately there was no proper way to contain the undead bear.
The isolation from all his supposed friends and his damaged eyesight made Golden Freddy go insane.
He remembers you and misses you... making it a goal to find you.
For the most part Golden Freddy would be overprotective of his darling, scared they'll be hurt too.
But there's another more sadistic persona in him that wants to cause revenge against all that's hurt him.
Which may or may not include you.
Golden Freddy is partially blind.
His eyes have rotted into a seemingly black void... but he can still see due to being enhanced.
When Golden Freddy breaches his containment area due to his newfound powers, he hunts down his darling.
He's not as violent or aggressive as Springtrap, but can retaliate if threatened.
He's missing an ear... making him a bit deaf too.
The reintroduction to Springtrap had damaged him... but he's determined to live.
However... Golden Freddy happens to have a good sense of smell.
When Golden Freddy finds you again he isn't really mad at you.
He blames Afton and his scientists for what's happened to him.
By the time he teleports to your location... he's already singlehandedly thrown the facility into chaos.
Experiments are released and infected... scientists die left and right...
... and the culprit of it all stands in front of you.
Like Springtrap, Golden Freddy reeks of death.
He is no feral animal, however...
Golden Freddy is intelligent and, when it comes to you, merciful.
Golden Freddy has already made his decision when he lets all the experiments out.
Afton will die with his creations and the facility shall fall.
It's like his own little rebellion... but he doesn't stay long.
Golden Freddy would teleport you away from the carnage with him alone.
He wants peace after what he's been subjected to....
Golden Freddy still sees you as his handler once he tastes freedom.
He does not resent you for it.
In fact he still adores you.
Fluffy AU! Golden Freddy as a whole is Overprotective, Manipulative, Caring, Slightly sadistic/Possessive.
His mind is a mess after what he went through and he's just happy he was given the power to get away from it.
He's happy to take you away from it.
The facility is left to rot after this event (Which is kinda where this fic takes place) and most of Golden Freddy's obsession peaks at this point.
He's overprotective and refuses to let you go anywhere that isn't with him.
He can't tell if he wants to love you or hurt you at times.
Golden Freddy acts like a protective guardian over you as he feels he has no other purpose.
Despite how much he cares for you... you know you can't keep him with you.
The smell makes you ill and there's nowhere for you to get home.
Golden Freddy's trust is breached once you decide you have to kill him.
He understands... but part of him doesn't want this.
You may think this'll solve his pain yet it probably won't.
He may just come back.
Golden Freddy can handle your betrayal of him in a few ways.
He could isolate you somewhere far away with no weapons...
He could kill you and make you like him...
Or he could accept his fate for the chance he may stop suffering.
Golden Freddy is a freak of nature who shouldn't even exist.
But the bear persists all due to one man who wished to play god...
You are the only thing that makes it... bear-able-
Golden Freddy himself isn't sure what he wants... yet he knows it involves you.
Whatever his fate may be doesn't matter to him anymore... as long as it has you.
Hellooo <3333
Could we get some Jack and Peter content pretty pleaseeeee?
i'll do so for my version of "canon" and for the Brother's Shadow au.
here we go:
Normal:
Jack:
he smokes. quite a bit, might i add.
he lets Dee swear (with permission), because why not.
i think i've mentioned it before, but Jack is transmasc. and also fat/chubby. because Yes.
Jack's hair is supposed to be a mullet. i just can't draw hair too well.
after getting revived by The Real Fredbear, he ended up getting paw pads, his nails turned more into claws than regular nails, his teeth got sharper, and he can make some Really Convincing dog noises. if you ever hear me talk about how "The Real Fredbear assigned Jack to be a partial dogboy," this is what i mean. i like to think this was partially because Blackjack took the form of a dog.
he lost his tooth from a fight in high school.
Jack actually knew that there was some Odd Shit going on with Dave and Henry, but never figured out what exactly went down. when he listened to Henry's tapes...well, he finally figured out what was going on! and it pissed him off!!
Jack feels pity for Dave when they finally run into each other again, considering...All Of That Shit.
Jack has a stuffed cat that he carries around as a sort of comfort item. it was meant to be a birthday gift for Dee on her sixth birthday.
my version of Legacy actually still hates Henry. to put it one way, if regular Jack was giving Henry the middle finger by going "I'll fix your mistakes and set the souls free," then Legacy tried to give Henry the middle finger by going "I'm going to make what you did look like a fucking joke."
Jack is a monsterfucker. i will not elaborate (see: Dave)
Peter:
Peter didn't believe that Jack killed Dee for even a second. he knew that Jack was working that day to begin with, but even then, Jack would never do anything to hurt Dee.
Peter actually sued Henry's ass. and won.
he doesn't like Henry.
he thinks Jack has the weirdest taste in men (see again: Dave).
he really doesn't like the fact that Jack smokes and drinks so much.
had Jack not been wanted by the police, Peter would've let Jack stay with him and Caroline.
Peter's got Guilt over what happened to Jack and Dee.
Peter somewhat recognized Jack when he worked at Freddy's, but he couldn't tell how at the time.
Dee, as the Puppet, would sometimes slip up and call him "Peter."
Brother's Shadow au:
Phone!Jack:
he wasn't properly programmed, so he can still swear. he's still an amnesiac, though.
he could recognize Dee and Dave, but didn't know how he could recognize them.
he and Dave flirted again.
Jack died because he confronted Henry about Dave again, and didn't back down when Henry told him to drop it. Henry knocked him out and put him in the Fredbear suit, and then kicked it a few times after Jack woke up. you can probably guess the rest from there.
he doesn't recognize Henry, but he does feel the urge to call him a bitch a lot. so he does.
he and Dee would take smoke breaks together.
(Black)Jack (Bear Edition):
he took the form of a bear this time, and is basically Shadow Freddy.
he's basically this au's version of the Puppet.
he wants to murder Henry So Fucking Bad.
he Has threatened Henry before about what's gonna happen if he ever tries to harm Dee.
he dragged Henry to the Void at the end of Dsaf 2 after Dee and Henry's fight.
he follows Dee around to give her some comfort. she didn't know it was him for years.
generally pretty chill. unless you're Henry, in which case he is very not chill.
Peter:
he thought Dee looked weird with short hair, but couldn't tell why.
he'd usually be the one to tell Dee and phone!Jack to get back inside during smoke breaks.
he has Brotherly Instincts for Dee and Jack, but doesn't remember why.
he and Jack bicker a lot as Phone Guys
there ya go! everything that comes to mind :]
you can't leave me here to die. ( s. springtrap. / @spring-lxcked )
Tumblr media
And if that doesn't break his fucking heart, because there's nothing he can do for either of them, now. The promised way out is lost to him; Henry never gave him any details. Henry never gave him anything to begin with. And now he's gone, his connection terminated, somewhere else in the building, waiting to die with his daughter. The 'office' ( if it could even be called that, this shitty hole in the wall that he's been fighting from for five nights ) was boiling, it blew out the glass of his computer screen, so he crawled through the vent seeking air, and the metal was so hot it melted his skin on contact. Now he lies where he pulled himself out, on the floor, smoke pouring overhead. He can see a doorway just ahead, but he lacks the strength to get up and go to it. Instead, he stares, inhaling ash. And as he watches a skeletal hand wraps around the frame, and the creaking hulk of the Springtrap ( Scraptrap ) comes into view.
Michael coughs, because he can't laugh and he can't cry. He can feel himself being rendered down to nothing, the liquid remnant that keeps him going evaporating in the intense heat. It's peeling off of him like steam, his very essence dispersing into the air, and as it goes, so does his ability to form a coherent thought. He barely hears what William is saying. You can't leave me here to die. HELP THEM, demands the part of his soul that's still intact. SAVE THEM. That has been his directive for thirty years, longer than he ever was alive. It's written into the very fabric of his being, which is unraveling in the fire, yes, but it's intact enough to move him. Or, at least, to try. HELP THEM. SAVE THEM. Carry them on your back. Eleven pinpricks of light. His siblings. The family legacy. Was his back ever strong enough to bear it all? He no longer has a spine, and he's still carrying them.
It doesn't matter who asks for help, now. He can no longer discern that. All he knows is that they've called, and he will answer, to the best of his ability. He rolls onto his side, facing the door, and moves his arm as if to brace it against the floor, but it sloughs off at the elbow before he can do so. The forearm and hand land in front of him with a too-dry thump. He tries his leg next. His knee slides forward. He doesn't have a foot. That's fine. He's walked on his knees for William before, repenting, for that first and most terrible sin. Hey, loser, why don't you give Fredbear a BIG KISS-- With his knee, he tries to lever himself upwards, and that's a bad idea. His torso tears under the weight of his upper body, and so he finds himself, crouching with his legs, but his ribs and remaining arm still on the floor. The hips go next, layer by layer in the inferno. His legs are lost to him. One eye can't keep its form and dissolves back into his skull. With his left arm, he grabs blindly for the nearest bit of rubble, using it to pull himself forwards, but the friction of his stomach against the floor robs him of that flesh, and now he is laid bare, a hollow one-eyed one-armed thing, staring fixedly at the door. He opens his mouth and his jaw drops away. The sound that comes out of him is half-curse, half-apology, all terror. In the end, I couldn't be your grave. With that lost smouldering thought, he loses his grip, and his consciousness winks twice, then fades to nothing.
Text
In my Fazbear Estate AU, towards the beginning of the timeline, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie originally couldn't walk around on their own. Being Springlock animatronics, they needed to be worn by a person, as suits, in order to be seen moving around. Whenever Fredbear or Spring Bonnie were in suit mode, their CPUs would turn off, in order to allow the workers inside them to act and speak in their place.
One day, however, things went terribly wrong. William Afton was wearing Spring Bonnie, performing as normal... when the springlocks went off from too much perspiration, causing Spring Bonnie to go into animatronic mode, and turning on his CPU. Both animatronic and human wearer were screaming, albeit for different reasons, and there was a lot of blood.
Fortunately, William survived that mishap, albeit with some physical scarring. Spring Bonnie was temporarily deactivated to have blood cleaned out of him, but when he was reactivated, he was still traumatized by what happened. He never wanted to be worn as a suit ever again. William, who had grown to love Spring Bonnie like his own child, took personal offense to that.
From then on, there was a rift between William and Spring Bonnie, one that only grew worse once Henry remodeled Spring Bonnie's and Fredbear's bodies to be able to roam and move on their own. During this process, Henry considered entirely new designs for the two characters, but William told him it was better to make a new bear and bunny instead. They was already thinking of opening a second restaurant anyway, and so the first designs of Classic Freddy and Classic Bonnie were born.
Meanwhile, William was feeling so bitter about Spring Bonnie that he decided to make another animatronic "child" he could be close to. His daughter Elizabeth liked clowns, so in her honor, he made Circus Baby. Henry coded Circus Baby's A.I., with input from William. This version of Circus Baby wasn't made with murderous intent, so she was rather innocent in those early days. She referred to William as her father, and even saw his biological children as her siblings. Michael thought she was creepy, but harmless. Evan was intimidated by her massive size, but she grew on him after a while. Elizabeth adored her, and they became best friends very quickly.
The only member of the Afton household who didn't approve of the new addition was William Afton's wife, Laura. She didn't feel any sort of emotional connection to Circus Baby, no matter how many times the animatronic girl called her "mommy". In fact, Laura got so fed up with Baby that she yelled at her out of frustration. "I am NOT your mommy! Stop calling me that! You don't have a mommy! You're a robot! And William isn't your daddy, either! None of us are your family!"
Unfortunately, Laura didn't take into account how human Baby's emotional response would be. Though she couldn't shed tears, it didn't stop her from crying and throwing a massive tantrum. It took hours for William to console her. Ultimately, he decided the best thing for everyone would be to give Circus Baby her own family. Hell, he'd even start a restaurant for them to perform in, so it wouldn't be a total waste.
I'll continue this at a later date...
