For people worried about age gaps in ships, here's some things to consider!
- Could they be apprentices together(for a significant amount of time)? If so, it's fine!
- Are they from different Clans? More significant age gaps don't matter as much when you didn't grow up around someone and know them from the time they are a child.
- Find an acceptable age gap cut off for you. One person I follow cuts off at a 4/5 year age gap. Some might cut off at lower ones. Make sure to consider the difference in life experience as well! A 20 and 40 year old is super iffy because a 20 year old doesn't have much life experience and way a legal minor like 2-3 years ago. But a 30 and 40 year old wouldn't be quite as questionable ethically.
Of course I don't consider this if it's a literal minor and an adult. There is an exception with the first rule, but that's because a fresh warrior and a denmate who is only a moon or two younger feels more like two highschoolers who are maybe a year or two apart, rather than a 15 year old and a 30 year old. (EX: Sunleg and Sootpaw from Follow Your Heart. Sunlight JUST became a Warrior while Sootpaw is an older apprentice. Or Loveheart and Genericpaw from The Average Adventures of Genericpaw. Loveheart becomes a warrior maybe like a moon before Genericpaw does.)

sparklecare - brightly colored anthro animals in a terrible hospital that no one outside knows is terrible. will be undergoing site maintenance soon; read asap if you want to check it out!
warnings include: medical imagery, gore bright colors (there is a saturation toggle button!!), sexual humor. they also have a masterlist of every possible trigger on their site
awful hospital - fern wakes up in a gross, surreal hospital full of organ creatures (among other things).

the average adventures of genericpaw - warrior cat tropes are characterized. trust me, it’s better if you go in blind :)

@ask-the-rag-dolly - ragatha is plagued by a virus and tumblr anons are kind of? helping her? for the most part??? it’s about 50/50.

ramshackle - local street kids eat the rich. also they have a pilot on youtube!!! its soso good raaagh

If you still need Warriors OC recommendations, I really enjoy Follow Your Heart by NiteTheKitten. It's on DA and Comic Fury! However it DOES cover grooming(with much more care than Spottedleaf's Heart did), so be careful of that. The Dog Star by Razmerry, The Betrayer and Last Silence by Liysterr, and of course The Average Adventures of Genericpaw by Turkeyflight are good too! Those three can also be found on DA(Genericpaw is on Instagram too though).
