Alright so I had this prooobably lmk au idea yesterday??

[Season 3 spoilers ahead]

Ok SO, the idea takes from JTTW, specifically the part where SWK is uh trapped under a mountain for 500 years. There's no way he doesn't have at least SOME trauma from that right?

Now, why am I talking about ya monkey dude being stuck under a mountain? WELL MY DEAR TUMBLR USER! That's because an idea came to me!

Now, the idea is that SWK just.. gets trapped under a mountain by LBD and just relives his trauma cuz bro being stuck under a mountsin unable to escape with little to no contact and being unable to move? 🌌Angst material🌌

.. I uhhh have some scenarios how that came to be?? I'm just going to list them and see if anyone that ends up reading this will like them or.. smtn?

Ok so

SCENARIO NUMERO UNO

LBD manages to hold SWK in place for a lil while longer than she does in S2 Ep10, so he uses up his powers in a last ditch attempt to get MK out of there, while also giving MK the map to the Samadhi fire. LBD captures the powerless Monkey King. Planing to possess him and use him as her new host cuz he's just better suited for it or some crap- BUT as we know SWK is powerless and reduced to a shell of his former self and is as useful to LBD as the little girl she possesses. Here comes a line I really like, it's gonna be used in all of the ideas cuz I just think it hits the Monkey King real hard in his carefully woven image.

LBD: "This? Is what The Great Sage equal to Heaven has been reduced to?"

Oh and Macaque is here as well, "The Mayor" still threw him to LBD in this so uhhh he's there for SWK's capture as well.

Sooo LBD just throws SWK under some random mountain, with Macaque looking on from the shadows. He's not useless to LBD just yet. Because she still needs MK.

So uhh yeah SWK is just chillin under this mountain, with the gang having NO ODEA WHERE THE IRRESPONSIBLE MONKEY IS. Sooooo after MK convices them to go look for SWK while looking for the Samadhi fire as well (Tang'll be the one to figure out what the map is to, such a fanboy, love you Tang /platonic), they just go on their quest similar to how they do in the show.

SCENARIO NUMERO DOS

SWK is kidnapped while he's in one of his meditation states, with the gang being somewhere else.

Mac is the one who kidnaps him here. And he's kiiinda surprised at jsut how EASY it was. But he's not gonna complain, everything to get the job done and get away from LBD as fast as possible.

And then it goes the same.

Now tho after SWK is kidnapped, the gang believes that he went on his merry way to get the fire himself, cuz they were too slow for his tastes. MK, while having a hard time not believing that, senses that something doesn't seem right. And convinces the others and himself that they need to find Monkey King and that he's in danger, or smtn and needs help.

SCENARIO NUMERO TRES

Set after season 3 episode 10

SWK goes off to fight LBD. And uhhh somehow ends up being trapped under a mountain instead of being possessed/becoming her henchmen?

Now I'm sorry but I don't really remember if Nezha and MK went to stop Monkey King before he did smtn stupid or if they're going to search for Mei... I'm going with that they're going with the former. So then, those two are the only ones looking for him.

Well that's all so far.. I'm proobably gonna make some doodles of this so ummmm, haha yeah! :>
