set in 2019 maybe (I’m loving this time period as not having MM’s innocence of the derby days but it’s a golden era of its own and they’ve tricked themselves into thinking it’s healthy.) (or like it’s fine it’s fine it’s all fine.) it would involve the concept of the Bitter Mutual Cheating. Suit jacket. post match football socks and nothing else. The phone rings. It rings again—it’s *phantom of the opera voice* Christine, Christine. MM can hear the entire conversation. It’s not a good one. What has he gotten himself into here?

hello the tumblr, im your new friend liz, from twitter

i still have a twitter. i will watch it die. i watched live journal die, and before that, geocities.

capitalism marches on, and so too must my quest for validation from others

im tumbling to you from inside the verse

that is, i am wearing a vr headset and accessing a browser

its hella dystopian on many levels

i have not enjoyed communicating in long prose since i washed out of academia. i was once bright and interesting and now i will not even review this for typos. this trauma is common among educated marginalized people my age

and im on a pretend space ship and they didnt even bother to get the stars right

and im fatigued af so im laying back in bed pretending to be a real astronaut instead going outside and just being one

comrade s (age 7) once warned me that elon musk was trying to steal the moon

i left the house today

first we went to dairy queen

dairy queen is bad and expensive and the people who work there seemed exhausted and distressed

we ate our chicken boxes in the parking lot and talked about how the leaves were changing colors

they put a piece of toast on top of the fried food to create an unholy steam chamber

i have to remember i dont like mcflurries if we go back

then we went to the library and got library cards and i was queer and jewish there

we also went to the thrift store, the easel i should have bought when i saw it was gone

i found a shiny menorah with a magen david hiding in the christmas junk, so its home safe with me now.

there was a dream catcher there today too. you shouldnt sell these kinds of things like this, its weird. (the dream catcher looked manufactured settler junk, and not like something that i would try to return, so i left it there to serve as a warning to other people of good conscious)

im excited about joining a temple

my headset is going to die. save as draft?! why, the tumblr....i had no idea
