it always feels weird to me when my fictional characters are referred to as "OCs" it feels like calling frankenstein "mary shelley's oc", which technically isnt wrong but yknow

in my mind i cant help but draw a line.. to me a fictional character is one i specifically made to tell a story, while an oc is more like an action figure on your shelf that you sometimes show off and put in little imaginary scenarios

the fun thing about making a comic where i've vaguely appropriated the aesthetics of christianity but entirely eschewing the actual religion is that i get to come up with headcanons for my universe like "hell isn't eternal punishment at all, it's literally just a big meat grinder where people's souls are sent to get converted to demon food. which isn't really all that different than the default option, where a soul is simply released back into the universe and becomes part of the big ocean of mana out there"

i think freshtv would literally explode if they didnt have a character to make fart jokes out of at least once per td season. Their heads would literally start melting if they had to make a season without having their animators draw the most detailed and hd fart clouds in the history of cartoon tv. They would quite literally drop dead if they had to be told they cant make fart jokes.
