who tf is actually defending diana like 😭😭 these people cannot be serious do we even watch the same show
you’d be surpriseddddd like…and honestly what i see most often isn’t even people defending her, it’s people arguing over her and hating on her just for “messing with msr” or as some love triangle bullshit that never even existed, completely missing the more sinister nature of her character. like i don’t even think a lot of people clocked so many of the things revealed about her, or remember them, because no one ever talks about her in a way that acknowledges it. she was never a threat to msr or some sort of siren to mulder, she was a part of the conspiracy. she was tracking and exploiting and violating women. she both genuinely cared about mulder, and had absolutely no hesitation lying to and endangering him, nor regard for his safety/autonomy.
and her character does have more depth than is discussed.
not to join the war on shipping on the wrong side because y’all know i love a love story but it really really bothers me when people can’t process a narrative outside of how it affects a ship. (for instance: reducing 3, one of the most explicit episodes about patterns of abuse, to shitty just because mulder fucks someone else)
this is why i’m writing about diana lol because i do find this arc interesting!! and i do see a lot in it, personally.

I genuinely don't even know what you're referencing or asking me, this sounds like a poorly contextualized version of something I said on stream that I don't remember.
Alphonse/Seth fucking the little rat they sell drugs and do crimes and party with in the worst era of their lives is not on any way shape or form comparable to the BitterSweet trio, regardless if you want to interpret them as poly, found family, etc. so I'm not even sure why you'd need to ask a jealousy related question in the first place.
They love, trust, and care for one another in deep meaningful ways and that has been clear since early in chapter 3. That part isn't up for interpretation. That's written in stone.

New York

15: (Same as California ones), New York x New Jersey, sometimes my ship NY/CA/IL/NJ/CT (it depends on the mood)
20: California because since California doesn't get to ramble or rant about his opinions much, New York is perfect for just listening and sometimes adding in his own two cents here and there. He loves not having to talk and getting to just listen to whatever California's brain decides to talk about next. Also Illinois because I feel like they would have a friend rivalry type thing and I can see the two hanging out at like a sports game. ((New Jersey for the same reason as Illinois)) Oh and Nevada because I think Nevada would really push New York out of his comfort zone (in a good way.) New York would be absolutely fed up with him at times because of how dramatic and sarcastic he is lmao.
California

Rhode Island's always there to help calm New Jersey down during panic attacks and bad days, and vice versa. (Nevada for the same reason as New York). Not The Jersey Devil because I can see him having more of a protective "child and parent" kinda bond with it. (NJ being the child, Jersey Devil being the parent.)

Yeah things got to a point where certain actions (like trying to force Sarah to fuckin kill herself) couldnt rly be justified but like up until that point?? Oh no Bonnie who is deeply insecure and think shes ugly because of her scars is kinda self absorbed now because theyre gone oh fuck what are we gonna do now that she has a self esteem and is kinda bitchy sometimes. Oh fuck Rochelle how could you make this girls hair fall out all she did was be a racist piece of shit omg wtf Rochelle you've really gone too far. Nancy you're traumatized and angry and killed your abusive stepdad and an attempted rapist holy shit someone lock this bitch up she's out of control!!! Thank god someone put them all in their place, they were so evil.
I fucking love this movie but I feel like to some degree they went out of their way to frame the situation like these girls being understandably angry about all the shit they went through is what made them turn "evil" or whatever. Nancy pulled some sexually aggressive shit and at that point her actions are obviously indefensible regardless of him being a complete piece of shit. But like before then they were all literally right lmfao. And not even Bonnie or Rochelle getting any kind of sympathy felt awful. Not to mention wrapping it all up with Nancy in a fucking psych ward being presented as some kind of well deserved punishment instead of a tragedy and not to mention YET ANOTHER TRAUMA, like hello?
Also the presence of the threefold law is something I'm not rly a fan of but that's not the point of this post, I do think they did a pretty good job overall framing witchcraft as neutral rather than intrinsically evil. And Rochelle and Bonnie literally should have dated sorry

which 0304 video did lando make a face about Oscar doing well in the feeder series?
oh hi anon SORRY i totally misworded that tag, i feel like this makes him sound bad but 1) i did my duty of fact-checking the video and you can't even see his face when he reads the question LMFAO and 2) i really did not mean this in a bitchy way (not that you said i did i just wanted to reiterate) but more so along the lines of lando not really thinking about oscar at the time — because why would he have been in 2021 — and basically just reacting in a "oh this question is a bit random" way haha. so nothing bad of course!
but it's from here which is an insane and mildly ironic clip on so many levels, and i think might be the first time lando has ever mentioned oscar in an official f1 video (do not quote me on that though):
anyway it's delicious to me because like of course he knew who oscar was at the time but oscar still held very little relevance to lando past the dimensions of his friendship to maxf, and it's not like oscar necessarily idolized lando either but the dynamic becomes forcibly more interesting with lando fast-tracking his way up to f1 and having already started to cement his personal brand and image while oscar was still in f2, and thus oscar having this really heightened awareness of his persona that went unreciprocated for several years... also i feel like oscar likes to downplay his onlineness/instagram f5 tendencies so it's fun to have evidence of him Consuming Lando Lore on his own time 😇
