insaaaaane of me to think about jiang cheng getting to interact with suibian after wei wuxian's death and its just. he leaves it and doesn't want it, wei wuxian's unwillingness to use suibian being one of the first signs something is very wrong. or he tries to keep it but he never tries drawing it out of the sheath for the same reason and because he killed his brother. or he's keeping it the same way that he kept it during the months wei wuxian was missing when jiang cheng still hoped he could give it back and everything would be normal again. Or he draws it out and just doesn't know how to even begin to interpret that - did his brother love him enough that even if its sealed to everyone else, suibian still allows jiang cheng through?
