It’s really interesting how Mo Ran compares to Xie Lian
He grew up dirt poor and then became extremely wealthy royalty
Meanwhile Xie Lian grew up being a wealthy crown prince and then became dirt poor
It’s also interesting how the way Mo Ran (original) and Xie Lian seem to have opposite ways of viewing the world

I just think it's so funny that after Hua Cheng breaks Xie Lian out of house arrest, the other gods start freaking out and treating it like a huge breach of security. "What if he comes back for someone else?!?! He could break in and take anyone!!" Why would he do that. He does not care about any of them. They're trying to set him up as the ultimate enemy of the heavens who must be stopped at all costs and he's literally just there for his boyfriend
