And here's Mixtape's rough reference! He's a boombox with his cassette who I haven't named yet. His backstory's main synopsis is in another post. I had to fight with myself to figure out what helm design I wanted for him.

Note
so while I've only started drawing two, I now have plans for my ocs!
Mixtape: a cassette player I'm shipping with rodiblurr in TFA and soundster in g1/idw
Scout, M1-RA, and Alex: Scout is an Autobot who crashed on Earth, and is now in the care of robot maker Alex and her bot M1-RA (they become a throuple)
Tailpipe: little seekerling being cared for by Jetfire
Twister: younger seekerling under the care of the Elite Trine/Starscream's clones
Mainframe: Decepticon spy shipped with Shockwave
Astro/Astronimus Prime: child who initially lived in a secret, zealot filled village on a desolate planet before it was found, later became a Prime and a successful scientist/theologist under the care of Drift and Ratchet
Flint: a Torchbearer from Caminus
Pulse: a medic in training as Ratchet's assistant in TFA and IDW, might ship her with Optimus and Blackarachnia
Tbh I'll probably come up with more, Astro, Scout, M1-RA, and Alex were the first ones I thought of and then the rest just appeared in my mind
THESE ARE SO CUTE OH MY GOODNESS
Tailpipe is such a cute name omfg this is my favorite one immediately. That’s my child now /j

TFA Orion was scarily good at hacking-to the point that he could stop people trying to hack his processor.
Alas, this doesn't apply to mnemosurgery, as that's an actual surgical procedure and not hacking. The best he manages to do is encrypt and quarantine his most important memories, and hide them away where Trepan couldn't reach them.
TFA Orion is that one hacker in every movie. You know, the one who's all like "I'm breaking into the mainframe" and "I'm in". Clickity-clacketing on his keyboard and adjusting his glasses (I imagine him wearing the thickest glasses) before taking a sip of the cybertronian version of coffee.

Okay oc lore time
Jonny Quest the real adventures and the direct to video scooby movies takes place in the same universe. Myra is friends with the Quest Kids and Jessie Bannon.
Reboot (the cgi cartoon from 1994) also takes place in the same universe; Mainframe can access QuestWorld. Race Bannon flirted with Hexidecimal much to the horror of everyone else.
Swat Kats take place on another planet (nearly canonized in a scrapped ending for one of the episodes). I have a SK OC who works as the Kats' mission control/backup member.
Beau is a government agent who got cursed by the evil werecats; after their defeat died he was cured but had to send all his findings to the Quests so they can help the victims' families find closure. He then goes on to be an informant for various super teams.
Skysurfers also exists because that show was made by the same creators of Scooby Doo; Jack Hollister's father used to be lab partners with Dr. Quest.
Acceleracers takes place in the same universe due to being made by the same folks who made Reboot (being Canadian productions irl).
Mainframe and Cyberspace (of Cyberchase fame) may be linked, technically considers Mainframe a Site.
Gen 13 (mix of comics & the animated film) is set in the same verse. Unlike the movies Matthew Callahan doesn't die but remains under the custody of John Lynch; also he doesn't rejoin Ivana as he did in the comics. Also, unlike the comics Gen 13 actually has 13 members. They rotate time from time. Matthew is forced to be a part to undo the damage he caused working as Ivana's underling. Caitlyn is not his sister, his siblings are Sarah and Nicole as in the comics. Cait and Roxy are half sibs.
Im not sure if I want TFA in the same verse but for the sake of it yes; the year is current but still with the theme of Detroit rebuilding, to go along with Animated's theme of redemption
Jackie Chan Adventures are set in same verse as the 2006 legion of superheroes, the 03 Teen Titans, Xiaolin Showdown, and 2004 Batman.
GI Joe Sigma Six is set in the same verse as TFA.
GI Joe Renegades and Transformers Prime are set in the same verse detached from Sigma Six and TFA.
Universal's Monster Force is set in same verse as JQTRA and Scooby Doo
The 2000s Mummy and Tintin take place in the past; 1930s at the earliest. Bayformers and the live action Joes take place in that timeline's future.
Mummies Alive take place in San Fran and likely set in the future of the Mummy cartoon. It also takes place in the same verse as the 90s King Kong & Godzilla cartoons.
My Descendants rewrite takes place in a world where the heroes never agreed to send villains on the Isle. Instead the isle is simply a mysterious place said to harbor riches beyond legend.
Gargoyles, Atlantis, The Mighty Ducks cartoon, BLOSC, and OUAT takes place in the same verse. BLOSC is set in space and has a ranger from the same planet the Swat Kats come from
Osmosis Jones is in its own solar system based on organic body parts. Its "star" pulses like a heart beat. Sorry but I hate Bill Murray.
Loonatics Unleashed takes place in the same time period of the regular looney tunes; instead of being descendants theyre distant cousins. Acmetropolis is a mega city using Sumdac Tech
Zadavia comes from a planet English translaters describe as Freleng. The common export is energy crystals and its rocky deserts is a haven for geologists and unlucky miners everywhere
The civil war was sparked by General Deuce and Optimatus's betrayal

5, 9, 13 for the meta questions (w/ whoever u feel an answer for) :3c
!!!
5. if your f/o is from a series, were you into the source content from the start or did you come in later? if you came in later, what was the most recent release when you got into it?
i'll be doing transformers for this again ofc lmao
so anyways, like i've mentioned prior on this blog i mostly got into tf via rid 2015, mostly because that's what was on at the time on television and with my roleplaying giving buzz to get more into the franchise i watched that!
9. if your f/o has been represented in more than one way (i.e. in a book AND a movie, in a movie and then recasted for a reboot later, etc.), which version of them is your favorite?
using Prowl for this one since he has a notable complete character reboot in tfa that was a one-off
my favorite version of original prowl, basically g1 being the original idea around him would be the idw comics, i have yet to read a bunch on them but i've seen bits and pieces of him during the devastator arc and that's actually what got me into him as a character
before that, i was very much into tfa prowl, he just seemed like he'd be a nice friend to connect with and be calm and quiet. it's difficult sometimes to be around cybertronians who are all yelling and speeding, y'know?
either way, idw is a big fav, especially in appearance
13. do you have a favorite line your f/o has ever said?
for prowl i have yet to consume much stuff of him, that's a true statement in general for transformers lol since it's hard for me to sit and watch something
though i really just have a happy stim moment where he compliments this kid in g1 saying 'you're thinking like a regular mainframe' cause gosh i could imagine him saying that about me??

Last Jedi - spoilers ahoy!
We watched The Last Jedi in theaters on Xmas day (hey, none of us are Christian, and my Father-in-Law is a New York Jew. At least we didn’t go out for Chinese)
I think it’s the best of the Star Wars movies I’ve seen so far - Iv’e not seen Revenge of the Sith nor Rogue One, so possibly they could be better. Very dubious about RotS, though.
Now, why would I think that?
Characters. I believe very strongly that the key to a good story are characters. They don’t have to be likable characters. They don’t have to be normal. They don’t have to be Just Like Me. The audience doesn’t have to identify with them at all. But they have to be interesting characters, and they have to be believable. I think I read something Leonardo DiCaprio (who is a better actor than he was originally believed to be) said is that they have to be unpredictable but understandable. That the viewers should not know how the character will act, but that when they do a thing, it should fit with the character. I wish I could find the interview in question, it was interesting.
But, anyway. I found the characters and the character development to be what made TLJ stand out as a Star Wars movie - though there are some other excellent bits, and admittedly a few valid critiques.
First of all, much like how The Force Awakens was plotwise a complete rehash of A New Hope, the plot of The Last Jedi was exceptionally similar to the plot of The Empire Strikes Back, with (I did warn you about spoilers) a little bit of Return of the Jedi. That’s legit. Mind, I’m not entirely sure I think it’s a good critique - if you’re familiar with Star Wars you knew going in that it was the middle of the trilogy, that it would inevitably follow that particular arc; it’s like going to a club and complaining that the music was too loud and lights were too dim. If you’re NOT familiar with Star Wars, this shouldn’t be a big deal anyway, because you don’t need to have seen the original trilogy to get it anyway. Though I really can’t speak from that perspective. TLJ covers a pretty narrow timeframe - much like ESB, TLJ timing is a bit odd. It picks up right where TFA left off, and rapidly breaks into two storylines - Rey with Luke, and the Resistance trying to escape. Rey’s storyline seems like it should take weeks; the escape storyline, hours. Though there is wiggle room there, to be honest. We’re never given the actual time that the Resistance Fleet is running from the First Order fleet. They certainly could have been slowly fleeing for weeks, it would not be inconsistent with anything. (As an aside, a lot of pedants have tried to claim that the Resistance fleets, being in space, shouldn’t have needed to burn any fuel to keep up their speed. That’s wrong - yes, they would not have slowed down in vacuum, but the point was that they needed to maintain distance from the First Order fleet - who is also accelerating to catch up. So they both needed to keep burning fuel, and if the smaller Resistance ships had only a slight acceleration edge over the FO ships, the extended chase makes sense).
Visually, I don’t think TLJ was particularly stunning by Star Wars standards. I mean, it wasn’t bad. We’re not talking “You can see the plastic squares around the TIE fighters“ like in A New Hope. It was overall seamless. The only disappointing bit was when the medical frigate got disintegrated, and it honestly looked to me like it was digitized into the Tron mainframe rather than destroyed. But aside from that, the FX were all seamless and well-done. I didn’t see any “Yup, that was totally a greenscreen” scenes, even the ones which clearly were done that way, no “You put this in to make showy effects” shots. Maybe the scenes in the casino city - which weren’t absolutely necessary, but I think they served a worthwhile narrative purpose and they were fun. And, well, let’s be honest - other SW movies have done pretty. I’m not gonna be impressed with a pretty SW film. Subtlety is better.
Now, there was totally a huge plot hole that bothers me. When Finn and Rose went to find their codebreaker, they just grabbed a shuttle and zipped off. Which is... why wasn’t that worthy of notice? If they could just shuttle away like that, couldn’t more people have gotten away? Or something? Bothers me a little there.
Okay. Enough criticism. Let me tell you where it shines.
Like I said: characters. We have our characters from TFA: Poe, Finn, Rey, Leia, Hux, Kylo Ren, and Snoke. We also got Luke, Rose, Holdo, and the Codebreaker guy.
We got to see them all develop as characters.
See, in a good story you put interesting people in interesting circumstances and then you see what they do.
For example, we see Finn. If he has one defining characteristic, it’s his willingness to cut and run. This kind of makes him seem cowardly, but it has held him in good stead. He spent pretty much all of TFA trying to get away from the First Order (they were trying to kill him). But in a defining moment there, he does decide to stick around and help. Then in TLJ he seems like he’s up to his old tricks - but he’s also trying to save Rey, to whom he is very attached. It’s ambiguous whether he was solely motivated to keep Rey safe, or he was trying to save his own skin and Rey was the excuse. However, later, in the speeder battle, he shows he’s willing to sacrifice himself for a greater cause.
Then there’s Rose. She’s hurt and angry. She wants to hurt the people who caused her suffering, and even the people who would bail on the cause. But at that same speeder battle, she makes the most iconic act and quote of the movie: “We're going to win this war not by fighting what we hate, but saving what we love!” She isn’t about destroying the First Order anymore - she’s about saving people from them.
Then there’s Poe. Poor Poe. He’s the hotshot pilot, he took down a Dreadnought. But he got demoted for it. He had to face that his squadron was destroyed, that he disobeyed orders. That winning isn’t everything. And in the speeder battle, he realized that the fight was pointless - and he called off the attack. He saved his people, because they couldn’t win. Will he still be a good pilot? Or will he be too careful now? We’ll have to wait and see.
An aside about that battle, by the way. I loved the planet. The Resistance is holed up in their base. There are AT-ATs. Everything is white. The wind is blowing. This is a remake of the Battle of Hoth, right? And then.... “It’s salt!” It was a shoutout and at the same time jerking our chains. Also, geologically... that shit happens all the time. Not necessarily windswept salt over blood-red rock, but a layer of one color over another. That stuff happens, and it was well-used. On the other hand, those speeders... why would anyone build things like those??? I get having an atmospheric craft - they’re cheaper than starfighters, maybe even better than starfighters for in-atmosphere battles. And of course they’d get left behind. But why make something with so little lift that it needs to rest on a ski? That has got to be the dumbest design I’ve ever seen.
Anyway. Other characters who had good growth.
Leia - we see that she isn’t just a figurehead, she isn’t just followed because she’s loved. She can absolutely be a hardass when the situation calls for it. Oh, and we saw that she does have some force ability (accepting the existence of space wizards, her surviving the vacuum of space is pretty plausible, weirdly enough).
Holdo - We’re supposed to dislike her. She comes across as aloof, stubborn, and uncaring. And yet we learn she has a plan, it’s not a bad plan, and that when shit goes down she can and will do what it takes. And the way she took out Snoke’s ship was truly impressive.
But it’s not just the good guys who get character development. Hux is smart, he’s a solid military leader, he is willing to contradict Snoke (but only in private! He does opsec, he casres about unity before the troops) We see that Hux is (justifiably) proud of the war machine he commands, and that he doesn’t consider Kylo Ren to be a worthy leader. But we also see that he doesn’t want to command the First Order. He doesn’t say “I should be the Supreme Leader”. That doesn’t seem to cross his mind. He’s a grounded, practical leader with plans and tactics and no stomach for politics. As another aside, where the fuck is the First Order getting its hypertech? The Starkiller base. Dreadnoughts almost on par with the Death Star. Tracking ships through hyperspace. Even that siege cannon. It makes sense, but I’d like to know if there’s an explanation (e.g., “We found Palpatine’s stash of superweapon designs he didn’t think he needed”)
Then there’s Kylo Ren. Remember, I said “develop” as characters. I did not say “grow”. Kylo is one fucked-up wingnut. He doesn’t know what he wants, he’s so twisted around. The only thing he knows to do, to deal with his past, is to destroy it. He wants to wipe the slate clean and not confront everything he’s done. He’s not entirely evil, he’s not entirely good. What he is, is weak. Strong in power, but weak in mind. We learn why he hates Luke, even I think why he was willing to kill his own father. He’s not one-dimensional, even if he is awful.
I totally get why there are Reylo fans now. TLJ humanized Kylo. It makes him seem saveable. And that fight scene in the throne room - the choreography was excellent. We got to see what happens when a bunch of very skilled force users throw down. It was impressive. Kylo and Rey did make an awesome team. I get it.
So, Rey. This is, in large part, her journey. She’s exploring herself. We see her convincing Luke to train her. Her flirtation with the Dark Side (which, regardless of Luke’s disappointment, was inevitable and necessary). We see her take the bait of trying to save Kylo. Her disappointment about her parents - and realizing it doesn’t matter. And crucially, we see her cutting off Kylo - not in hatred like she had before, but in realizing that it’s pointless to try to save him; she didn’t hate him - she just cut him out.
Then there’s Luke. The Hero of the Rebellion. Savior of the Galaxy. Jedi Master. Legend. A self-loathing exile, a farmboy who has become a thing he cannot understand or grasp. A man who has gone off to die. He has cut himself from the Force, and sits wallowing in his failure. Of everyone in the story, he’s the one who has the hardest time growing. But he does - with some not-too-gentle nudging from Yoda.
And Yoda’s role actually to me highlights one of the greatest strengths of TLJ. It’s a story which shows rather than tells. Luke does’t say he is once again embracing the Force; we see it in the fight with Rey, when he stops himself in midair. And when Yoda blows up the Jedi tree, we see Luke learn that he can project himself with the Force - and then later uses that ability to great effect. We see that Holdo is clever and willing to think outside the box, and it absolutely follows that she’d ram the dreadnought at lightspeed. We see Chewbacca tolerating the porgs... so it makes sense when the Resistance is okay with the crystal critters (and it nicely highlights how the Resistance is friendly and gets along with the native wildlife). And then when the CCs are actually important for the plot, it’s not an out of the blue point, it’s “Oh! They did disappear. Hey, that was important.” Also, funny thing about that bit - they reason Luke got in somehow, so there must be a way out. It’s solid reasoning, but also false - he simply appeared, his presence did not indicate a way out. That said, I kind of wish Luke’s Force Projection had only been visible to the people he wanted to interact with. It would have made Leia look crazy, and it would have made Kylo look even crazier. And Hux’s snarky “Do you think you got him?“ even more priceless. Sadly, the gunner saw Luke, so that’s a lost opportunity. So, overall, I thought TLJ was a great film. I’m looking forward to the next one and I hope it manages as good of storytelling as TLJ. Maybe at some point I’ll write up my super-disappointing plot for Episode IX: Reality Ensues. The movie where we find that an overpowered emo is entirely incompetent at politics and cannot hold together an empire; that without a clear leadership the Republic will completely fracture, and that if you lose a lot suddenly people stop taking your calls.

TFA Perceptor and Wheeljack, maybe?
who steals french fries off the other’s plate
jackie for sure
who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple
again, i’m gonna say neither of them? wheeljack is totally the one to do over-dramatic “professions of love” in a booming (for him) and very sarcastic voice. perceptor just bluntly states that no, they’re neither romantically nor sexually involved. jackie busts a gut
who has to bust or bail the other out of jail
perceptor
who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues
wheeljack!
who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes
neither of them… but jackie will call mainframe in from the other room via comm to try and distract percy. it doesn’t work often
who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk
jackie for sure, percy dgaf
who starts and who wins the pillow fights
percy doesn’t pillow fight. the last time he tried was before he deleted his emotional subroutines and he almost died. never again
who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush
wheeljack (and blurr gets offended)

Had another idea for a lil tfa au scenario x3
Skyfire's been hesitant about sharing his works with most of the Autobot scientists. Not just cause he's unsure if the Autobots would even accept his work with him having been one of the Decepticons top scientists for millions of stellar cycles, even if he's claimed neutrality for even longer. he also highly doubts they'd even have any interest in his research on interplanetary lifeforms and energon usage/production. (He's trying to develop Pretender technology in this au)
Powerglide insists many Autobots will overlook that fact if they see his detailed work and lifetime of dedicated passion to him wanting to protect and understand lifeforms across the galaxy.
One day Powerglide gets wind that he'll have to ferry fly a group of the Autobots top scientists to a scientific convention in Crystal City. He wants to surprise Skyfire and invites him to ride with aboard the ship and insists Skyfire allows him to help polish him up real well.
Skyfire is delighted to come along, he's thinking Powerglide's bringing out to a really fancy Energon place in Crystal City. He's delighted to finally once again see the Cybertronian city historically infamous for it's scientific advancements. Of course, that was before the war completely destroyed it. He's curious to see how it's been rebuilt by Autobot and neutral servos.
~~
On the ride there Powerglide starts acting over dramatically eepy and says he wants to get an Energon snack from the ship's galley. He asks Skyfire to keep the spaceship on track. "You think I'm even qualified by Autobot standards to fly this thing? The navigation system is off by 2.5 degrees by the way" He jokes.
"Far more qualified than Dogfight over there"-who's asleep in his seat with a datapad covering his face.
While he's preoccupied, on his way back from the galley with some snackies, Powerglide slips one of Skyfire's datapads onto Perceptor's table "Read it, nerd."
"It's written in Destronian?"
"Is that an issue?"
"Not at all. But it does have my curiosity"
--
Later near their approach to Crystal City Preceptor made his way into the cockpit, datapad in hand. He leans against the pilot's seat facing Skyfire's jumpseat. "So, I see there's the galaxy's leading expert biologist in this cabin and I suspect it's not our snoozing copilot there."
"Your research is absolutely astounding. I've heard of you, Skyfire, during the war when your research benefited Megatron's efforts to conquer worlds. We almost lost C Minor, Nebulos, and Talaka to Shockwave and Starscream using this, your data to create a planet Energon harvester and weapon of immense destruction"
Skyfire’s face went from astonished and ecstatic to dull and expressionless as his spark sunk with every word. Powerglide completely froze, his face saying "oh no. I just massively screwed up..."
"I tried to stop them in time. I was too late for C Minor and the Nebulan and Talakan lives lost that sol. I can never forgive myself for that and turning a blind optic to the Decepticons schemes all those stellar cycles. That's why I've spent the last 3 million stellar cycles helping the lifeforms of those 2 remaining worlds recover and rebuild. Its why my current research is on producing sustainable Energon without the Allspark, especially with the Allspark gone.. It's the least I could do"
"I know. We've all done things we're not proud of." Perceptor handed the datapad to Skyfire. "I would like to join you on your research to save Cybertron. I'm certain my partners Wheeljack and Mainframe would share the same sentiment. You know as well as any Cybertronian, without the Allspark, Cybertron will starve."
"Planet's really starting to run low, huh?" Powerglide asked rhetorically as he focused on the ship's instruments in front of him, flipped a few switches and gave the other passengers of the ship the landing intercom debrief.
"Skyfire, if you would like, you're welcome to join the convention and contribute in any way if you feel comfortable," Perceptor said as he left the cockpit, door closing behind.
Skyfire and Powerglide looked at eachother in silence, both with a mix of bewilderment. Skyfire broke the silence by squealing like a fangirl, waking up Dogfight from his nap as he lifted Powerglide from his seat in a Skyfire sized hug.
Dogfight panics as he sees they're in a descent to the spaceport below and the captain off his seat getting showered in shuttle kisses. "Skyfire I gotta land us!! Later I promise!!" protests Powerglide in between laughs. He's eventually let back down and Skyfire stays quiet to let him fly the ship. But not without the occasional brief excited turbine spool up.

Mainframe and Mixtape
The two of them are like two sides of the same coin. One is bitter and hangs on to the past, the other has let go, and become carefree.
Mainframe defected to the Decepticons after she, Mixtape, and their team were caught in an asteroid belt, where two asteroids crushed their ship, killing everyone on board except for Mixtape and Mainframe. Mixtape disappeared, and Mainframe assumed he was dead. Mainframe was left to try and drag her team out of the rubble, desperately trying to keep them alive long enough for help to arrive. However, after tapping into a nearby commlink using her Outlier (she is able to secretly hack into any frequency as long as it's in range) she discovers that while there was another Autobot ship nearby, they had been ordered not to risk their lives for a single motley patrol crew. She realized then that the higher ups viewed her and bots like her as expendable; unimportant.
Mixtape, on the other hand, was knocked out by the collision. He was sent flying through space by a piece of debris, where he was found by the Autobot ship. They told him what had happened, and while he secretly knew the truth, he accepted what had happened. For all he knew, going back to find his crew would just be a mission to find corpses. Plus, he knew that even if he was angry at the Autobots, being with the Decepticons would go against everything he stood for.
Both of them still hate asteroids and explosions.
Two friends driven apart not by the same experience, but how they let it shape them.

Miscellaneous TFA Headcanons
Alpha Trion really is the oldest Cybertronian alive.
Mainframe likes to keep his room and workspace chilly.
Anyone old enough to have been involved in the war at least knows Ratchet’s name. Dude was bonded to Omega Supreme, the first of the Omega Sentinels that won the war, for spark’s sake. (Not knowing who Ratchet was would be like not knowing who Alvin York was, if you lived through WWI.)
Furthermore, even before that, Ratchet was well-known in the mechanical (medical) community, as he was something of a prodigy. Later, his cure for cosmic rust caused quite a stir and he became even more broadly known.
Maccadam’s Old Oil House was often used as a secret meeting place during the war. Emphasis on secret. This fact rarely makes it into the history records.
Wheeljack stunt races in his free time. He’s really good.
The Autobots’ xenophobia really kicked in after the Great War. They weren’t quite so bad about it before or during the war. (Gotta double-check my canon on this one, but I think it checks out.)
The Vok totally planted Sari’s protoform on Earth where Isaac Sumdac would find it.
The Autobot High Council tried to get the AllSpark Matrix to restore Ultra Magnus’ body. They were that desperate to get him back. I mean, it worked on Blurr, so it was worth a shot...?

If you write for the TFA scientists, maybe Perceptor, Mainframe, and Wheeljack headcanons with humans for the Humans are cute AU? You are a wonderful writer, keep up the good work.
Perceptor: Interesting... It seems that the physical features of this particular species of organics affect Cybertronians psyche and emotions. Even some of his most professional coworkers have expressed an altered mental state upon talking about/seeing images of humans. They have all expressed the opinion of these organics being “cute” and “adorable as heck”. And yes, Perceptor admits, he can see the physical appeal. They are small, with expressive faces and big personalities. But this? Perceptor has witnessed some cybertronians act near maniacal when gushing about humans. What was the big deal? Why were everyone so entranced by these tiny organics? Perhaps he should gain more date by personally getting closer to a human? Maybe then he could finally understand all the hype.
Mainframe: He tried to keep his distance, he tried to act like he didn’t care. Keyword, TRIED. But just like Rome he fell and Primus did he fall HARD. They were just so damn CUTE. How can an entire species be so physically pleasing to look at? How he just wanted to gush over them and share his enthusiasm with everyone else. But Mainframe has a reputation to uphold, an image to maintain. He’s a professional dammit! He can’t go around acting like a newly forged bot, wide eyed and overly emotional! But... humans are so cute its criminal. Logic be damned, they are ADORABLE! How is he supposed to act all uninterested??? Mainframe is in pain.
Wheeljack: At first he didn’t bother to think much about the news about a new species of sentient organics being found. He had more important and interesting things to do! In fact, Wheeljack was so uninterested in these news that he didn’t even bother to learn anything about this species, ‘hoomans’ was it? It was only when he noticed how excited everyone seemed about this new species that his interest was piqued. So he decided to look them up. And Primus, was he happy he did. Why had no one told him how cute they were??? Look at them! Now that he was interested, Wheeljack was determined to know more. He immediately put all his projects on hold and sent a message to his coworkers and superiors what he was going to Earth. Wheeljack wanted to learn just how humans could be this cute and if he could have one transferred to work with him.
