Delicious
“Wild, could you please chew more quietly, you’re going to give me a headache,” Legend grumbled, and turned to glare at him when he loudly crunched what was in his mouth again, “what even are you eating that’s making so much noise?!”
“Rocks,” Wild said completely straight-faced, and at Legend’s disbelieving look, he merely shrugged. “They’re delicious.”

200 followers? Congratulations, that's so cool!!!! If requests are still open...maybe some zelink of your choice? Idk, I'm having trouble coming up with a specific prompt. But something fun and fluffy, if that's all right.
Thanks so much!! <3<3 And thanks for the prompt! I chose OoT Zelink cause I just couldn't resist.
Flower Crown | OoT | G
Link frowns in concentration as he twines two stems together. A delicate purple blossom is attached to one, a yellow bloom to the other. Carefully, he shapes them into a circle, tying them at the ends. For a moment he regards his work, then with a nod of satisfaction, he reaches for another flower from the pile he has beside him.
“How about a bit of pink?”
Navi buzzes excitedly around a particularly vibrant wildflower, and Link picks it up, grinning.
“Yeah, I think it needs some pink.”
“And some blue?”
“Of course.”
He threads the new blossoms in, humming softly as he does so. Not two feet away the entrance to the next temple looms dark and eerie, but here amongst the grass and flowers and trees, the danger feels miles away.
“I wonder why Sheik’s late today?” Navi says, bouncing forward to survey Link’s work. She gives a happy, little chime of approval and Link’s grin grows.
“I don’t know.” He shrugs. “I’m sure he’s busy.”
The elusive Sheikah always seems to be busy. Link supposes it makes sense. After all, he’d been the only one left to keep Hyrule afloat while everyone waited for the fated hero to awaken. And even now, he always shows up to help when Link needs him most.
Which is why, on the threshold of another plunge into darkness, it’s strange that he isn’t here now.
Link shoves down the worry that arises at the thought and threads another flower in. The crown is basically finished now. It’s bursting with delicate blossoms twirled around one another in a pattern of color.
“Link?”
A voice comes from behind him, and Link startles, dropping the crown and leaping to his feet. But he relaxes once his gaze lands on the familiar figure standing a short distance away.
“Sheik! Finally.” He pulls his ocarina out and holds it up, a playful grin lifting his lips. “I’m ready to learn the next song.”
Sheik approaches, eyebrow raised.
“I apologize for keeping you waiting. But it seems you’ve kept yourself occupied.” He gently lifts the crown from where Link dropped it. “This is very beautiful.”
“Oh, uh.” Link can feel his cheeks heating and he looks down, rubbing the back of his neck. “Thanks.”
Navi chimes, excitedly. “Link worked really hard on it. Aren’t the colors pretty?”
The Sheikah nods. “They are. I can tell much love has been put into making this.”
He turns it over in his hands once more, then holds it out to Link. For a moment, Link can only stare at it, still blushing like mad and feeling more awkward by the second. Then, he shakes his head.
“I-I want you to have it.”
Sheik’s eyes widen, but all he says is, “Oh.”
“Only if you want it though!” Link says, hurriedly. “I mean if you don’t like flower crowns…”
“No! No. I—” Sheik looks down, suddenly shy. “I would be honored to accept such a gift. Thank you.”
Link grins, shoulders sagging in relief. “Okay, then. I hope you like it! The princess taught me how to make them when we were kids and now—” He shrugs, awkwardly. “I kinda make them whenever I’m stressed…or scared. It’s calming.”
Sheik raises his head, eyes crinkled in a rare smile.
“Well, I’m sure the princess is happy to know you’ve continued making them. This is truly beautiful, Link. I love it.”
For a long moment, he holds Link’s gaze, and the world narrows until it’s just the two of them, together in this span of time. It’s all too soon that he turns away. He stows the crown carefully in his pouch, then takes out his harp.
“Now,” he says, “I’ll teach you the song for this place. It is a melody from the heart.”
His eyes meet Link’s once more as he begins to play.

Heya! It seems like you're having a rough evening. Is there anything I can do to help?
Sorry if this is forward!
🥺❤️ Oh my gosh 🥺 This is not too forward at all, you’re so sweet to ask!! To be honest, I’m not sure but I really appreciate you asking 💜❤️💗 that alone helps a little 🥰
My anxiety is acting up a bit more than usual (not an attack or anything) and my depression is trying to poke and prod at my insecurities again, but that’s nothing new lol. Right now I’m watching Scooby doo and I have a crochet project in front of me that I’m sort of working on. I’m hoping if I just wait it’ll pass eventually 😂😅

Still losing my mind over the ~✨Ilia✨~ in the updaaaaaaaate
I KNOWWWWW AAAAAH
Twilight talks about her so much!!! She’s one of the first people he mentions thinking about while he was fighting for his life, second only to Colin (And we all know how close they are!) and we have further confirmation he talks about her a lot because of what Warriors says (That’s twice now he’s mentioned Ilia!).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then there’s THIS
Tumblr media
(“Ain’t” hehe)
He talks even more about her!!! Thinking about her reaction and how mad she’s going to be sends Twilight into gales of laughter and a better mood then we’ve seen him in I don’t even know how long. They’re such good friends (more?) and I can’t wait to see them interact in person :D

Does HDW Link run warm? If so. Maybe it's a cold night and Link and Zelda and Mask sit close together to take advantage of the warmth?
It's cold.
So cold.
Stupidly cold.
Link shivers, pulling his scarf tighter around his shoulders. It should be illegal for it to be this cold. He can barely feel his fingers, and he knows his tent is going to be even colder.
Link hears somebody sniffle, and he looks over to see Mask walk up, wiping his nose on his sleeve.
"Why is it so cold," he shivers, and Link shrugs, rubbing his hands together.
"Blame the ice wizzrobes, I don't know."
Mask shivers again, and Link frowns, noting how red his nose is.
"Do you have a cloak?" he asks, and Mask shrugs, abruptly sitting down and tucking himself into Link's side.
"Don't need one," Mask yawns, teeth still chattering. "You're plenty warm."
"I don't feel warm," Link grumbles, but he pulls his scarf around Mask's shoulder, pulling him close.
"Dragon heat," Mask sighs after a minute or two, his voice not shaking nearly as much. "It's nice."
Link smiles just a bit, and ruffles Mask's hair, an action the younger hero would usually bristle at, but merely sighs at for now. Footsteps sound out, and Link looks up to see Zelda approach his seat, her expression a little hesitant in the firelight.
Her nose looks almost as red as Mask's did.
"Zelda?" he questions.
"You two looked a little cold over here," she says in what Link thinks might be a slightly embarassed voice. "And... I am a bit as well. I thought maybe I'd move over here."
Link blinks in surprise, then smiles at her and nods, Mask yawning again beside him. Zelda walks and sits down, and adjusts herself so her side is against Link's. Link's face doesn't feel nearly as cold as it did before.
"You're very warm," Zelda says in surprise, and Link hums.
"I think it has to do with the dragon thing," he admits quietly, and Zelda doesn't say anything for a moment.
Then she rests her head on his shoulder, letting out a hum of her own.
"It's nice," she says softly, and Link swallows.
Mask makes a snoring noise, one that almost sounds fake, but Link can't quite tell. Zelda huffs a quiet laugh, and Link pulls his scarf around her as well, warming all three of them.
The night doesn't seem nearly as cold as before.

In my mind, a big family has to have at least six, but that's on the smaller size of big. I don't really think of it ss big until a family's got 7 or 8
Yep that’s about my view! Six is when you start to break into big, and then after that is when a family is like, actually big.

Well I got it for Christmas less than a month ago, so before that nope! I’ve been playing through it all January, I’m getting near the end of the story :)

For the three setence game: baby
“You mean you’ve never held a baby?” Wind asked, and Wild shrugged, then scratched the back of his neck.
“I mean, I’ve never really... seen one?” he admitted weakly, and Wind froze, then grabbed his arm and began to tug him out of camp, “Wind whoa what the—”
“We’re going to the nearest town right now and showing you a baby,” Wind said in a voice that held no argument, and Twilight only smiled and shrugged when Wild gave him a ‘please help me’ look.

Cheese
Tumblr media
“So, what do y’all think?” Twilight asked eagerly, looking around as they all took bites of the Ordonian goat cheese.
“It’s— it’s got quite a strong flavor,” Warriors said, a funny look on his face, and Time’s expression was carefully blank as he chewed, as were several of the other’s.
Wild, on the other hand, gave him an enthusiastic thumbs up as he took another bite of cheese, Hyrule smiling next to him as he did the same.

I assume you've already gone to bed, and hopefully for sleep, but here's a little gift for you when you wake up. Also, take it as an apology for being so late; I've been trying to work on your birthday gift but it's been slow going, alas. I will try and finish it as soon as I can, and until then, have this instead! *lots of love and hugs*
There was music coming from the tree. Link stood at it’s base, hands on his hips as he peered up into the dense foliage.
“Sprite, I know you can see me.”
The music continued—well, not blithely, but without pause, in the familiar sweet tones of a lullaby.
“I’m coming up.”
The music stubbornly continued on, while Link hauled himself into the tree. He may not have been raised the woods like certain gremlins he could mention, but he’d been a little boy enamored with adventure, and knew his way around a tree. He hauled himself up into the tree, and after a few moments had narrowed in on his quarry.
To his surprise, the Sprite was not alone.
The kid was sitting on a high branch, his ocarina at his lips, while below him, stretched out on a wide, thick bough, was Shiek.
Link nearly fell out of the tree, grabbing hold of an obliging branch and hastily steadying himself.
“Wha—what are you doing here?”
Shiek didn’t so much as move, her eyes closed and hands folded on her stomach. “I’ve been having trouble sleeping, so Mask is trying to lull me to sleep.”
Link leaned on the bole of the tree. “Is it working?”
“Well, not while you’re talking to me.” Shiek replied shortly.
Link shrugged, “Or maybe because it’s Zelda’s Lullaby, and not yours. Maybe she has exclusive rights to it’s soothing properties.”
The soft notes halted for a second with a slight squeal, before the music resumed. Link gave Mask a funny look, but his eyes were firmly shut. It took Shiek a second to respond, but when she did her tone was very dry. “I’m certain that’s not the case.”
“Well…” Link dug into his pouch and pulled out an ocarina of his own. “Would maybe a second musician do the trick?”
Shiek’s peeked open one eye, looking up at Mask. “Would you mind accompaniment?”
Mask lowered the ocarina from his mouth, looking away with a sniff. “…He’d better be able to keep up with me.”
Link grinned at the pink tinge showing on the edge of the Sprite’s ears. “Sure, if I drag you down I’ll stop.”
“Well,” Mask seemed to be wrestling with what to say. “…Good.” He sniffed again, and lifted the ocarina again. “On three!”
Mask counted down three beats, and they slipped into the restful tones of Zelda’s lullaby.
Shiek let her eye close again, and slowly, her breathing shifted to match the deep, slow rhythm of the notes.
The two of them continued to play as the sheikah slumbered on; her rest deep and easy with two heroes standing sentinel over her dreams.
Aaaaaaaaa Tellie 🥺 This was so sweet and soft, and FUNNY ACK Mask and Sheik both pausing at the Zelda’s lullaby thing abdgbbgdscbdgh
Thank you so much Tellie <333 Also I will gladly wait as long as it takes for a fic from you (you’re writing me one??? aaaaaaaaa 😭), you don’t need to apologize!!

I'd love to see the first time Time met Wars in in the IAU?
I’m actually working on writing that out eventually! It’s not done but I can give you a wip for now.
Also fair warning, it’s... gonna be angsty when it’s finished. Just heads up. It’s... already pretty angsty. Sorry in advance.
Link suddenly caught movement out of the corner of his eye, glancing over at the child his mother had been protecting. He’d nearly forgotten he was there with how quiet he was being.
The boy was small, probably only three or four years old, with blond hair similar in color to Link’s. His scared eyes met Link’s from where he was huddled at his mother’s shoulder in a scarf too big for him, and Link felt his stomach sink at their color, only a few shades off from his own.
“...The boy?” he asked his mother, already knowing the answer.
“Your.... brother, his name... name is Link,” she breathed, her hand still cupping his cheek. “So that h-he would... find you...” Her breath stuttered, and Link held his hands more firmly over her injury, despite knowing the gesture was in vain.
“Take care of him,” his mother whispered. “Please, Link.”
Link closed his eyes, then reopened them as he put a hand over his mother’s trembling one. “I will. You have my word.”
She gave him a smile, and faint as it was, Link abruptly felt a deep longing rise up in him, one that made his eyes sting. Suddenly he had the urge to beg his mother to stay with him, to fight harder, not succumb to the injuries so he could properly talk to her, know her, maybe even love her.
But he knew it was too late.
