Day 170: Tekkaman Blade (Tekkaman Blade)

Today I was playing some more Super Robot Wars, and I got to really focus on using Tekkaman Blade. His design is super cool! I love the giant spear, it reminds me of a Bo Staff, so I drew him in a Bo Staff pose.

Figure collecting: 2023 display breakdown - mecha and futuristic stuff

(Original post here - full list of breakdowns can be found under tag #2023 displays)

Third breakdown - left upright cabinet, third shelf.

From left to right, roughly: Max Sterling (Robotech), Tekkaman Blade, Anavel Gato and RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis" (Gundam 0083), Captain Harlock and Emeraldas, KOS-MOS (Xenosaga), Vash, Nicholas Wolfwood and Legato (Trigun).

Obviously this is my most atypical shelf as I specialize in collecting male figures, not gunpla / mecha, however I have a certain fondness for sci-fi anime having been raised on things like Gatchaman from the time I was a tyke. This shelf obviously has room for growth, but I have multiple Gundams en route as well as another Tekkaman Blade kit to assemble, so it’ll fill in more noticeably this year.
