A friend messaged me with
I saw a post a while back that was like, there's a certain kind of person that gets so "UGH" about bad arguments, regardless of whether or not you agree with the position. And absolutely I relate to that, and I get the feeling that so do you.
And it’s like. Yeah pretty much lol.
(cut to keep too much syscourse from people’s dashes lmao)
There’s particularly something so intractable about syscourse in that there are actually a number of different anti-endogenic standpoints (”endos are all fake roleplayers,” “some are fake, some are psychotic, some are traumagenic,” “actually endogenic ‘’’multiplicity’’’ is real but 100% different from the experiences of anyone with DID/OSDD-1,” “I just think there should be DID/OSDD-1-only spaces and have been misled into thinking those don’t exist I guess,” etcccc.)
... but you usually see anti-endogenic blogs reblog all of those, apparently without even noticing -- anything’s good as long as it says endos bad, right? (”You’re invading spaces meant for people who have gone through a shitty enough life already” vs. “you can literally get OSDD-1 from moving around a lot as a kid or maybe even prenatal trauma” is the contradiction that kills me most, I think. 🙃)
There are plenty of pro-endogenic standpoints too, of course, but you’d never see me reblog “DID technically doesn’t have trauma in its criteria,” especially considering our argument is usually “I dunno why you expect DID/MPD research to care about non-traumagenic systems when the diagnosis has kinda always been defined as traumagenic.”
Anyway that’s enough Sunday Morning Syscourse. We have an interview soon with a researcher who actually wants to acknowledge that non-DID/OSDD-1 systems exist, so that’ll be fun. :’D

It's syscourse fun sunday once again! Today's question?
What's your favorite ice cream flavor? Or what's your favorite sweet and cold treat.
I really like sherberts and frozen fruit juices. Raspberry sherbert has to be one of my favorites. Might get some today hehe.

You can pick any stage one evolution pokemon/pokemon that does not evolve (and I mean any). What's your starter?
I'm gonna go with the classic turtwig. My first and my favorite of the starter pokemon. Recently got a shiny one in pokemon rejuvenation!

Syscourse fun sunday once again!!
This time, I'll be asking a system related question. So without further ado:
Does your system have one blog or multiple for individual alters? If so, what do you/they post about, besides syscourse.
Most of our individual blogs are largely inactive due to the amount of time fronting, but everyone still enjoys them regardless.
One posts about animals and nature. Another posts about video games and general aesthetics. Jared posts about music he likes as well as sewing related things. Peter's been on a bit of a Barbie posting kick, as he loves the outfits in that movie. Alex has the most varied blog since he's host and has a lot more time in front.

Syscourse fun sunday a little early cause I forgot to queue it. A bit of a sad one this time.
With the death of flash, what game have you been missing most?
I've been playing neopets again, and a solid 90% of the games are still busted. I miss "let it slide" a lot. Even with a flash plug in that game refuses to work.

Syscourse fun sunday #3 everybody!!
The question of today is: What's the last game you played? Whether that be board games, video games, or something else.
I've been playing a lot of magic the gathering lately. Even taught my partner how to play commander.

Syscourse fun sunday is back again. The question this time?
What's your favorite food? Does it change between system members?
For us, while our dislikes don't change, we all have general preferences for what is our favorites.
Alex and one of our middles absolutely adore steak. Another middle loves caramel ice cream. One of our caretakers enjoys sour candy. Another loves spicy nachos.

Let's take a little light hearted break for a second. Cause it's
Syscourse fun Sunday!!
Today questions: What is either the last story you read or the next one you're planning on reading? Feel free to go off in as much detail as possible.
Bonus question: Do you like audiobooks? Why or why not?

I will admit, one time in my toxic anger, I found the main blog of someone who absolutely despised in syscourse. This person had terrible takes and supported equally terrible takes. I wanted to find something to justify my anger, to prove they're just a terrible, disgusting person.
Know what I found on there? A normal person. Someone who reblogged the same shit as me, had hobbies, and a life outside of syscourse. Hell, we even agreed on issues outside of syscourse.
Because the people you argue with aren't just their bad opinions. They're fully flesh out people with feelings, relationships, and often in this line of discourse, trauma. If nothing else, approach people with that mindset even when you're angry and when you want to just blow up. Hell, even when you do.

Since syscourse free Sunday is scuffed let's have some fun today.
What's one of your "funnier as a singlet" moments? As a system it's easily understood but from a singlet perspective it's buck wild and hilarious.
I'll go first. "You wanna hear my boss theme?"
