Серверы условно-бесплатного шутера Survarium от создателей оригинальной S.T.A.L.K.E.R. будут отключены в конце мая

Студия Vostok Games (основана выходцами из GSC Game World) собирается отключить серверы условно-бесплатного сетевого шутера Survarium в конце мая текущего года. Соответствующая информация появилась на официальном сайте проекта.

Создатели Survarium поблагодарили «всех без исключения» игроков за поддержку, конструктивную критику и за время, уделённое игре.

«Спустя почти десять лет с момента старта пришло время перевернуть страницу проекта Survarium. Это решение мы вынашивали давно, но откладывали максимально, так как понимали, насколько важным и родным проект стал для многих из вас. И это решение, принятое с болью в сердце» — написали представители Vostok Games у себя на сайте.

До конца марта проект будет функционировать в обычном режиме: авторы продолжат выпускать обновления, техподдержка и веб-магазин продолжат работу. В начале апреля Vostok Games прекратит оказывать техподдержку и отключит монетизацию, после чего начислит всем игрокам по 50 тыс. золота и 500 тыс. серебра, чтобы каждый мог приобрести и опробовать любую экипировку и оружие на своё усмотрение.

А уже в середине мая в Survarium начнётся событие, посвящённое закрытию игры. После завершения мероприятия серверы будут отключены, из магазина Steam проект также уберут.

После отключения серверов команда Vostok Games полностью сосредоточится на работе над новым проектом.

Серверы Survarium будут отключены к концу мая

Разработчики из Vostok Games сообщили, что серверы ММО-шутера от первого лица Survarium будут отключены к концу мая.

До конца марта игра продолжит работать в полном объеме: разработчики продолжат выпускать обновления, и большинство этих изменений будет основано на идеях и предложениях игроков с официального Discord-канала Survarium. Соответственно будет работать служба технической поддержки и интернет-магазин.

С начала апреля прекратится техническая поддержка и отключится монетизация (интернет-магазин и внутриигровой магазин), но игровые сервера продолжат работу. Создатели раздадут всем игрокам 50 000 золотых и 500 000 серебряных, чтобы каждый мог получить и опробовать любое понравившееся оружие и снаряжение.

В середине мая начнётся внутриигровое событие, посвященное закрытию игры, после чего игровые серверы будут деактивированы. Игра также будет удалена из Steam.

После закрытия Survarium команда Vostok Games полностью сосредоточится на новом проекте, который уже находится в разработке.
