One of the reasons why I approve of Idris Elba voicing Knuckles in the Sonic Movieverse is because his voice reminds me of another NY voice actor, Michael Alston Bailey, who did a lot of work in the 4Kids industry with Dan Green (Sonic X’s Knuckles).

Pay attention closely and you'll realize Super Shadow didn't exactly straight up fall to Earth. And no, he didn't lose his Super form until probably sometime after disappearing (who really knows aside from knowing he was rescued).

The fall would have happened regardless. Look at the angle he performed using chaos control earlier. It was more downward than Super Sonic's. Essentially by observance he in way pushed back downward. Now assuming Super Shadow falling was Super Sonic's perspective, he would not be able to catch him anyways and if he did he would have disappeared anyways.

Another thing people presume he auto lost his super form once he and sonic chaos controlled the Ark and fell to earth. They make animations or art of it. But the problem is when people start acting like this is what actually happened and refuse to see what really happened.

Now if he didn't disappear, it's just more of reason he could have easily have been caught by Sonic. If he lost his super form so quickly as people presumed, it would have been easily shown in the fall scene or rather immediately normal in the next scene after ark was shown being chaos controlled. Heck what would happened obviously would be what happens if all rings were lost for either from fighting Biolizard The Final Hazard.

Now people say or presume he died or should have stayed dead.

There's contradictions within the game itself.

Him fall while super

Him disappearing

The Space Colony reappearing

1 is obviously, didn't de transformed

I will explain 2 and 3 briefly. but before that. this is not like SA(DX) when Chaos Makes The Malicious Tikal's father's Clan Disappear.

Now then

SA2(B) is the game where disappearing and reappearing is a thing.

That's called Chaos Control

2 and 3 is Chaos Control. Super Shadow while falling did was probably Chaos Control. He didn't say it or say something similar like This Is The Ultimate...Power. It just happened (and later games it's wordless if need be). That is most likely why the only thing Super Sonic was able to retrieve was one of his ring bracelet limitor inhibitor etc things.

Now like around several seconds at least after he disappears, Space Colony Ark reappears. That was chaos control obviously

If you look at Super Shadow disappearing and ark reappearing affected or even Biolizard from earlier. They resemble Chaos Control but Super Shadow Disappearance and The Space Colony's Reappearance is even more similar. Heck even the sound effect for it is rather close.

But honestly Shadow should have been easily seekable but I think Tikal's words of what Chaos Emeralds can really do was forgotten again. Heck Knuckles probably could do it with the Master Emerald (again SA(DX) ignored) But it seems to be common trend after SA1 (yes exceptions of certains games after do exist but not listing anymore)

Super Shadow - My Version

So, I made my own version of Super Shadow because, I'm sorry, but Super Shadow's official design to me just feels really cheap. To me, he just looks like normal Shadow with yellow fur, because his quill style doesn't even change like Super Sonic's does, plus, his eyes and streaks stay the same color too. And it just feels like Sega really cheaped out with Super Shadow's design. So I made own version of him so I could change a few things. Just for fun, of course. This isn't at all official - just my own Super Shadow design to mix things up a bit. And personally, I really, really like him. I'm really happy with how his new design turned out. And just to be 100% clear, this isn't like, a Hyper version of Shadow, or Super Shadow 2. It's just my own personal Super Shadow design, because why not
