Theft Warning

So, as you all know, I usually don’t like to do this, but it has been brought to my attention that my LoliRock OCs are still being stolen. As some of you may know, the user @sweetness-is-who-i-am (lately she’s been seen leaving comments about nathiris on iristo posts and contradictory comments of different blogs on my n$4w blog; tagging talisto artists in talisto hate, trying to help host an @ur1$t0 week made because the op didnt like that talisto was having their annual ship week (despite being a talisto shipper themselves), just not having good fandom etiquette tbh) had previously been contacted by me about her making ask blogs and general blogs about my characters from Tales of Ephedia. She apologized and promised to do as I requested, deleting the blogs and reposts of my artwork. I figured that would be the end of it.

However, it has come to my attention that instead, they moved to another account and have continued to use my OCs by simply renaming them and changing small details like hair color or shirt color. I’m always open to supporting new, young artists, but this is just straight up OC theft. Especially after promising me she would stop. Currently I have that account blocked as well as another blog of hers named @sugarrushracers. To my horror, this user has over 25 blogs, and those are just current ones. I’m listing those possible blogs (they all are just them basically resharing her posts) below as a precaution to fans who 1) share my work and/or 2) are mephiris/iristo blogs as well as some screenshots:

I’m trying so hard not to be angry after they lied to my face and chose to continue these bad habits. I don’t want to fight. I personally will be reporting and blocking. Do as you will, but please double check and see if your OCs are on her pages, and please inform me if I missed any other blogs of theirs. I also ask that you do not insult the artwork. I’m sure they work real hard and its not bad art. They just aren’t using their own creations, and they’re doing it without permission.

New Beginnings || CLOSED Fresh Start AU @turbomun & @sugarrushracer

It was an average day by the standards in Sugar Rush, as the lemon yellow sun shines down on the bright and colorful landscape. Providing an everlasting summer’s day for the game’s residents, as the candy citizens milled about. Going about their daily lives either working on maintaining the game, getting ready to watch the day’s Random Roster Race, or getting ready to participate in it.

For Chase however, this day was far from average. Though so had every other day since he’d first found himself lost, impossibly far away from home in an unfamiliar arcade. Not only lost, but separated as well from the only other person who’d escaped with him only to end up in the same situation as him.

The chocolate gravel crunched beneath his sneakers as he slowly trod, side by side with his loyal greyhound companion, down one of Sugar Rush’s winding roads. Forcing back the rising tears from memories wanting to reface, as he rubbed the white sleeve of his sweatshirt across his golden eyes. Then swallowed before gazing around the bright and cheery landscape once again. Frowning bitterly at a world that should have been a dream come true for a child his age.

What so great about this candy world anyway? Why did it have to be so cheery, and happy, and vomit inducing? Why did it....

The anger in his eyes slowly faded as sorrow took its place, and directed his gaze away from the wonderful sights, to the deep brown earth below. In truth, he didn’t have it in him to be bitter, only fearful and filled with despair after his world had been ripped out from beneath his unsuspecting feet. As well as exhaustion from trying to hopelessly put the pieces of his life back together, and find some normality in the uncertainly that surrounded him like a thick blanket of fog.

There was no hope in trying to return home, that much was clear. Though it didn’t seem to be in the case of his friend, who outright refused to accept that this was all there was now. She’d defied fate, defied her programming and now she was out to do it again. Only they’d become separated in the process, leaving him to search for her like she was undoubtedly doing as well.

She was the only thing familiar left that he had, asides from his dog Speedy. Though the time they’d gotten to know each other was short, he wasn’t willing to let go of her after all that he’d already lost.

How long had it been though since he’d last seen her? Days? A week? Surely not more then that, though it was enough to trigger his hands to lift up and anxiously grip the fabric of his sweatshirt. Though he knew she was smart in her own way, and more then capable of taking care of herself, he couldn’t help from worrying and longing for that sense of normality he craved so badly. Something to ground him so he could continue the search with a clearer head.

It was then that the sound of an engine roaring snapped him out of his thought’s, as his head snapped up in the direction of the noise before he dashed for the nearest sugar floss bush. Leaping into its pink embrace with Speedy following at his heels, and hiding himself just in time to not be spotted by the passing kart.

Moments later, as the dust thrown up by the kart began to settle, Chase peered up from the bush. Watching with wide eyes as the kart drove off into the distance, before it turned off behind several tall candy box bleachers that sat before a rather grand racetrack. Emitting the all too familiar faint cries of cheering spectators, that called out to Chase’s ear as he crept out of the bush towards the stands.

He hadn’t seen a race since he’d arrived in Litwak’s. He doubted that he’d ever participate in one ever again... Perhaps, it wouldn’t hurt to sneak over and see just one, before continuing on with the search.
