me telling myself it's not about winning, it's not about winning, it's not about winning every time I enter a god damn competition
#text post#ststm#i am naturally competitive#and i am trying not to be#but this post is driven by a really frustration situation#that i know i probably won't win#but everybody basically implying it was a waste of time because we'll never win#but what will win is the classic quantity vs quality#like our concept is way more creative and funny#theirs is just big#but i am not OWED the win because we put more time into it or anything like that#that is not the way the world works#i need to remind myself of that#just sick of people being like 'oh this is cool but have you seen the others?' or 'you're not going to win you know that right?'#like go away and at least let us have fun until the winners are announced jeez#(this is not a serious competition and i'm pretty sure the prize is bragging rights)

#honestly think promise is one of the better australian eurovision entries#and the music video was shot in western australia which is where i live#it's a BEAUTIFUL state#sadly i don't get out of the city much but god you could spend months exploring the natural landscapes here and never get bored#one of the places they filmed at was called nature's window and it's just so beautiful#i have really basic music taste and i'm not sorry#ststm
