Strahdtober Day 29 - Sun
"The Abbey of Saint Markovia
May her light cure all illness."
We didn't explore the abbey a whole lot when we first went there. My DM tends to stay pretty close to how the campaign is written but the Abbey I know he's going to change a bit. (should we explore more of it when we make our way back to Krezk)
I cannot wait to see how he expands upon her Lore. I know "the big twist" as he discussed it with me in regards to Kasia, but I have no idea how he'll do the reveal or how he'll change the legend around Markovia or the actions/roles she played. But I'm chomping at the bit for it.

We had our first character deaths last session. Both Canan and Aria were killed by Strahd as we tried to return the bones to the church in Vallaki during The Feast.
They’re ok now (sorta). Canan until further notice though looks like a corpse so his self-esteem ain’t doin too hot

Keeping up the fake illustrations ft Escher. I saw themes proposed for day 4 were "turned" and "fall". I guess the spawn does check these themes.

My DM dropped a "lore" without context so I choose to interpret it as being about Escher and we'll if I'm right. (IDR if that was actually what was said, but it was about that flavor. The abbott was waxing poetic at us and I was a little distracted by other things)

technically should be under the player character prompt i think but i'm stretching it since i technically have two player charas for curse of strahd — and both of these fit this piece so well. i'm both still in my revolutionary girl utena arc and i've been wanting to draw my undead paladin thanatos in a way that paralleled this scene so u get both. text is a direct quote from rgu!

Strahd-tober Day 5: Death House
So in my first COS campaign, my first character Isolde died to the creature in the depths of the death house. I don't know how else to really showcase the moment - but she had finally acted rather selflessly and her death released a bunch of wild magic that just lightning exploded the inside of the creature doing a bunch of damage.
