Always thinking of the "flex heart"...
During one of their signing livestreams, Leon and Claire's voice/mocap actors Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello got a request to do either "heart hands" or to flex for us. So naturally, they combined them and gave us this!
And yes, people started spamming "Cleon!' Lmao!
I remember watching this stream while having a massive toothache and seeing Nick and Steph having so much fun really helped take my mind off everything. You can just tell that they're really good friends and I just find that so sweet. <3
I'll link the stream down below, this moment happens around the hour and eight minute mark but I suggest you watch the whole thing because there are plenty of fun moments.
Also, for context, Steph is beating Nick with a pillow at the beginning because he broke the stream and recording while trying to show us a picture of a massive Oreo cookie he made...

Can we please talk about the tonal changes from Claire in ID for her line, "That outfit doesn't suit you." ? Because, I love it, so much. It's been on my mind for weeks now and I can't get it over my head.
At the start of the series, the line is passed on lightly, like friendly banter. Imagine seeing your childhood friend in a suit getting ready for law school, cause you've seen them run around, causing trouble wherever, that person you grew up with doing dumb shit with. So to me her line saying that was honestly a call back to their encounter in Racoon City, with him just being a dude that was just like her, doing the same thing she did, survive.
That's what I see, it could be intended to be something else. Aside from that, the comment is meant to be lighthearted. It's meant to be friendly banter. Which I think is nice, in a way. From this point on she's just like, "Hey, that's the same Leon I know, ready to help people in need, the same guy for sure!"
Ahem, now fast forward to the final episode. Leon now has the chip that contains all the shit that Wilson and the government did in Penamstan, Claire now wants it and she asks, after another friendly exchange. Leon said he can't do that, he can't give it and expose them for the shit they pulled. So Claire here, is upset. I mean, really upset. Her line: "So you do things your way, and I do things mine?....Fine." was just the start. I think that to her was just then realising, this wasn't the Leon she knew, the one she survived the hellish City with.
The look she gave him.
She spared nothing. She looked him up and down and finally took note that, it really wasn't the same dude. Look, I'm all up for shitting on the plot, it was sad but the CGI, the expressions, the details, the voice acting. That look she gave him was her getting a good look at the man in the suit, whom she thought she knew, and was now stepping aside and not standing by her. [Also the subtle smirk, like she played herself to thinking he was better than that, to her knowledge that is.]
This was her saying that, this isn't what she knew him for. Leon and her made it through Racoon City to take down the big bad guys and Leon himself told her that he'd take them down. This one time she assumed he'd be on her side, he wasn't and the delivery of this line, the low tone and the remorse it has. She says it in such a way it's meant to hurt him but really it sounds like her telling him to stop pretending to be like those stuck up assholes behind those fancy gates or not end up like them.
Really, I love the work they put in [majority of the budget went into this, for sure], things like this add so much more life to the characters and I will never stop praising the VAs for delivering these lines so much better than we'd expect. I just really wanted to point this out, don't mind me.
