Elliott’s Immersive Wedding Mod v.2.0.0 is now up and ready to play!

Explore 3 new wedding day events with Elliott, including a wedding reception hosted at the Stardrop Saloon, as well as 2 intimate events with Elliott at home (PG - PG 13) in between events, and much more!

This new update also features new sprites and portraits based off my other mod, Elliott Scottish Wedding Kilt, as well as edited marriage dialogue with a little Scottish Gaelic affection sprinkled in.

Your choices in-game will affect your relationship with Elliott, as well as open up different opportunities for new events, revealing vanilla-based character growth for Elliott throughout your time together in Pelican Town.

More about this mod:

Elliott is an ISFP who is quirky, grandiose, and romantic but also largely misunderstood by others. In the beginning, his superficial traits tend to rub people the wrong way (melodramatic, vain, and “life-is-a-stage” type attitude) but getting to know and befriend him over the course of the game, we come to see him as a deeply passionate and highly motivated person, who is unapologetically true to himself and his values, despite the odds and adversity. Throughout your friendship, you see Elliott come out of his shell more and engage with the others around him, despite his history of rejection and discouragement.

Though much of his personal growth can be seen through heart events, dialogue, (and stalking him around town), I wanted to delve deeper into his character and explore how his choice to move to Pelican Town has shaped his personal growth, including his relationship with others in town - and most importantly - his relationship with the farmer, from friendship to marriage.

I'm playing with the Immersive Elliott Wedding mod installed and I absolutely love that he uses Scottish Gaelic terms of endearment for the farmer and references being from an in-universe equivalent to Scotland, it's all the author's own headcanons as far as I'm aware but I love thinking about this exact kind of thing for characters- where did they come from, what might their culture be, what traditions do they practice. Also I can't not picture him with a Scottish accent now and I'm fine with that.

Random Stardew Valley Headcanons In No Particular Category

Elliott, Harvey, Sam, Sebastian, Emily and Haley are all ex-theatre kids, i will DIE on this hill

Sam watches Jojos Bizzare Adventure, his favourite characters are Jouske and Mista

Sam just buys a ton of random shit off amazon, e.g DaBaby guitar pick, the entirety of the communist manifesto, a shirt that says “almod mikl” on it, that image of an old woman with an asthma inhaler- list goes on

Willy is scottish

Dont ask why but Elliott is just French

Sam and Sebastian both laugh at those monke videos, totally expected from Sam, from Seb? Not so much

Emily, Maru and Penny are all NB

Sam has a cardboard cut out of Obama

If Sam ever got his hands on a trampoline he would drag Seb onto it and launch his twink ass 50ft into the air with no regrets

When Sam visits the city he always sees this raccoon that he feeds, its like his best friend, one time it followed him back to pelican town and let itself into Sams room, he had to hide it from Jodi and did so successfully, Sam named it Tom

As much as i love him, we all know Seb used to have an edgy gacha phase that he cant live down

Seb is a fuckin cuddle bug, dont change my mind, when hes tired or sick he will literally latch onto his partner and not let go unless they ask

In addition to the last hc, Seb gives really tight affectionate hugs that make people warm really quick

Elliott Scottish Festival Regalia mod is now up and ready to play!

This mod changes Elliott’s festival sprites to incorporate traditional Scottish regalia for 4 of 8 festivals. (Flower Dance, Moonlight Jellies, Stardew Valley Fair, and Feast of the Winter Star.)

Elliott’s festival regalia includes: - Prince Charlie jacket and waistcoat (depending on the festival) - Collared shirt, jabot, and pin (or Jacobite Ghille Shirt) - Dress sporran and sporran strap (frontal pouch made of seal skin), - Sgian-dubh (small knife kept in the sock) - Kilt hose and flashes (socks and sock tassels) - Kilt (+ pin), - Brogues (lace-up shoes), and - Fly plaid (a long strip of plaid matching the kilt pattern, worn over the shoulder and fastened with a brooch)(depending on festival). Festival Tartan Patterns: Flower Dance: “Clan Lockhart – Ancient” Tartan Moonlight Jellies: “Reflections of the Sea” Tartan Stardew Valley Fair: “Clan Lockhart – Reproduction” Tartan Feast of the Winter Star: “Clan Lockhart – Modern” Tartan

After marriage, Elliott will wear various Tartan-patterned pyjamas around the farm and farmhouse from 6 AM to 7:30 AM and from 8:30 PM to 2:00 AM. He will change out of his pyjamas if he leaves the farm or if the farmer leaves the map and comes back after 7:30 AM.

Scottish Tartan patterns are open to anyone regardless of their family, clan, or registry origin, but I wanted to pick patterns that would mean something personal and significant to Elliott as a character.

[+Elliott Immersive Wedding Mod v 3.0 Sneak Peak!]

INFPs and ISFPs are deeply passionate, caring, creative people with a profound capacity for emotional depth and understanding (thanks to their dominant cognitive function - "Introverted Feeling" or "Fi"). However, they are largely misunderstood (even within the MBTI community) and are often unfairly perceived as or presumed to be 'weak', 'fragile', 'crybabies' or 'unmasculine' by others.

Both INFP/ISFP men and women tend to experience a lot of trauma because of their personality type; however, men with dominant Fi seem to experience a lot more direct abuse for trying to express themselves authentically -- and their tenderness, sensitivity, interests, and/or passions get perceived as weakness, brokenness, or an inherent indication of their sexual identity (whether straight or LGBTQ+).

As an INFP myself, it's beyond heartbreaking to see my INFP and ISFP brothers struggle so much with their self-expression and self-actualization just because they were born boys in a world with messed-up ideals; I often wonder how much more everyone would benefit if men were allowed to fully express themselves and their emotions without fear of judgment or ostracization from others, regardless of type.

And thinking about Elliott in Stardew Valley and his personality as an ISFP, I wanted to explore more of his past experiences and unique struggles as an ISFP man in my next mod update:

In version 3.0 (coming soon!) Elliott will open up even more to the farmer about his life, not only about his painful childhood memories but also about how his Fi resilience helped him find the support he needed growing up; having even just one person who truly understood who he was helped him build the confidence to express himself freely without fear of shame or judgment.

We'll also see Elliott admit that his relationship with the farmer has convinced him that the unconditional love and acceptance he once received in the past can continue to flourish with his new family and friends in the present if he allows it to.

Another Elliott mod is coming soon! “Elliott’s Scottish Flower Dance Regalia”

In this mod, Elliott will appear at the Flower Dance dressed in a fusion of the Vanilla blue Flower Dance suit, paired with the Clan Lockhart ancient tartan Kilt, Scottish heather boutonniere, fly tartan with silver brooch, jabot with gold pin, silver hair pin, and much more!

Another Stardew Valley mod is available!

This one changes Elliott’s wedding sprite to a traditional Scottish wedding kilt, giving Elliott’s heritage/cultural background a little more depth and making your wedding day much more interesting!

This was one of the first sprite edits I ever did, starting back in early 2020. My .json coding skills were very new at the time, so this idea got pushed to the backburner for almost 2 years until I could figure out what to do. Digging through my old work this past Christmas, I decided it was finally time to finish it up this year :)
