Just curious, but how does Avery behave around an MC who's already been scarred up by another bae? Is he leaning more towards the "replacing the scars" or the "comforting MC constantly" end of the spectrum? Love your work, always so creative and fun!

Honestly... Avery discovering that his beloved's scars are from someone else and not self harm like he may have previously thought is a good way to cause a Stage VI break- even if it's delayed.

He won't cover the scars up (unless some of them happen to be in his Stage III cuttin' spot), but he'll start investigating until he finds who did this to you, and put them in the ground.

Don't worry, you won't know about it. But he'll rest easier knowing they've paid for what they did to you.

I carried this thing for MONTHS with the EXPRESS PURPOSE of putting Raphael in it (knowing full well Larian wouldn't let me do that, mechanically) and I had one major miscalculation.

#Ok I'm gonna ramble in the tags about all this get ready:#I KNEW Larian wouldn't let me actually pull this off but I PROMISE you that stupid flask sat in my inventory since the moment I grabbed it #WAITING for when I could write this little bit about putting Raphael in it #I even threw it at him in the fight with a 30% hit chance and it succeeded so I considered that Larian giving me permission to say it workd #But as I was reading up on it again when I was sketching this I saw the bit about native planes and I cried LMAO. But it's dnd-#so I rewrote is as it would've happened in a game. U kno.#Also I have been waiting to use that fox line for SO LONG bc of Croissant's dad being a fox-like fey creature #So much backstory that's slotted in PERFECTLY with the BG3 narrative #Anyway absolutely wild that we managed to take out this ancient powerful devil - and on the first try!#Lae'zel with a potion of speed did WORK. Gale came in clutch with hold monster. Astarion gave Raph stage fright. I’m not entirely sure you can BECOME me, but here are some steps on how to be like me!!:

Be gay

Be in a show where aliens are forcing you to compete by singing and the losers are killed

Fall in love with a guy who is in love with a girl. And to your crush’s dismay, that girl is dating another girl.

Criticize the girl your crush’s crush is dating for dying for her gf in Round 1. Why did she die? Because the two of them had to compete against each other in Round 1.

Watch your crush sing a song he wrote to his crush while his crush is angsting over her girlfriend’s death during Round 2. During this round, he kills a lower class alien and also doesn’t even give his opponent a chance.

Sing about how your crush is hopeless in Round 3 and win.

Watch your crush’s crush snap at the guy who is the fan favorite of the aliens for imitating her dead girlfriend. She loses the round.

Watch your crush fall into depression because his crush is missing and possibly dead.

Be forced to compete against your crush

Sing a duet with your crush while he’s angsting about his crush being missing/dead
