Essential Maintenance Tips for Your Sprinter Van
1. Check Tire Pressure Regularly Proper tire pressure is critical for the performance and safety of your Sprinter van. Make sure to check your tire pressure regularly and adjust the pressure as needed. Over-inflated tires can cause premature wear and tear and can also reduce your vehicle’s fuel efficiency. Under-inflated tires can cause irregular wear, and decreased handling, and can even lead to tire failure. 2. Change Your Oil Regularly Oil is the lifeblood of any engine, and it’s important to keep your Sprinter van’s oil clean and fresh. Depending on your vehicle’s age and mileage, you should be changing your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. Make sure to use the correct type of oil for your vehicle. Check your owner’s manual for the recommended type of oil for your Sprinter van.
3. Inspect Your Belts and Hoses Regularly Belts and hoses can become worn out over time and need to be replaced. Make sure to inspect your belts and hoses regularly for signs of wear or damage. Replace any belts or hoses that are cracked, brittle, or frayed. 4. Check Brake Pads and Rotors Your Sprinter van’s brakes are an essential safety feature. Make sure to check your brake pads and rotors regularly for signs of wear or damage. Replace any worn or damaged brake pads or rotors as soon as possible to ensure the safety of your vehicle.
Maintenance Schedules for Your Sprinter Van
To ensure the longevity of your Sprinter van, it’s important to follow a regular maintenance schedule. Here are some of the maintenance tasks you should be performing on your Sprinter van, and how often they should be done. 1. Oil Changes Oil changes should be done every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, depending on the age and mileage of your vehicle. Make sure to use the correct type of oil for your vehicle.
2. Transmission Fluid Check your transmission fluid every 30,000 miles and replace it every 60,000 miles. 3. Brakes Inspect your brakes every 15,000 miles and replace any worn or damaged brake pads or rotors as soon as possible. 4. Belts and Hoses Inspect your belts and hoses every 15,000 miles and replace any that are cracked, brittle, or frayed. 5. Tires Check your tire pressure regularly and adjust as needed. Rotate your tires every 10,000 miles.
DIY Care Tips for Your Sprinter Van
Keeping your Sprinter van in top shape doesn’t have to be expensive. There are plenty of simple DIY care tips you can do to help keep your vehicle running smoothly.
1. Clean Your Engine Regularly
Cleaning your engine regularly can help prevent the buildup of dirt and debris that can cause engine problems. Make sure to use the right type of cleaner for your engine. 2. Check Your Fluids Regularly Check your engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and other fluids regularly and top off as needed. 3. Wax Your Car Regularly Waxing your Sprinter van regularly can help protect the paint from the sun and other elements. Wax your car every few months to keep it looking its best. 4. Inspect Your Lights Regularly Inspect your headlights, brake lights, and other lights regularly.

all the rumors are true • bbh
pairing: idol!baekhyun x f!idol!reader
genre: fluff & angst
synopsis: your secret relationship with baekhyun getting revealed, and what comes after.
warnings: none!
a/n: very self indulgent lmao i had this thought a few days ago and needed to get it out! the ending is a bit choppy i ran out of thoughts. heavily unedited and not proof read 🫣
“yes, i take care of all of them,” you laugh, nodding at the radio show hosts question about if it’s hard being a leader to a group of 4, including yourself. “especially our youngest.” you say, glancing over at sunny, the baby of your group.
“what’s the age difference between you and her?” the host asks.
“six years,” you say, making the host gasp.
“ah, so you’re 28… that means she was 16 when you debuted?” the host looks between you and sunny, both of you nodding. “wow, so you probably have had no time for dating since even before debut!”
you laugh, though it’s 90% true, which sucks. “yes, because she was so young when we were trainees—we all were—i was always with them to make sure they stayed out of trouble and weren’t around strange people,” you say, your eyes sliding over all of your members. “so, no, there hasn’t been a lot of time to date. but i’m not mad at that because i was taking care of my babies.” everyone chuckles at the last bit and mingwa puts her head on your shoulder.
“y/n needs somebody to take care of her!” heejin, the second to youngest member shouts. you smile and shake your head at her words, though they’re unbelievably true. if only the public knew that you were, though. that instead of laying your head on a soft pillow every night, you lied down on a hard chest and let strong arms hold you tight, while soft kisses on the top of your head lulled you to sleep.
“girl, i’m your candy,” sunny sings quietly. you don’t cut your eyes at her immediately, but the panic bubbles in your chest. nobody mentions her singing, or sings along, but sunny and mingwa share a quick look that freaks you out, makes you paranoid that in a few hours when the video recording of this session is posted, speculations will start.
you glance at sunny, hoping to catch her eye, but she’s engrossed in what the host is talking about. you can barely hear above your heartbeat in your ears, the blood rushing through so quickly it’s starting to give you a headache. you try to discreetly regulate your breathing, trying to remember those videos talking about square breathing that you found online. nobody seems to notice, except mingwa who taps your forearm and looks at you with concern that you brush off.
you manage to make it through the rest of the interview as normal as possible. you start talking a lot less, letting your members share more about themselves and the group, and nobody except for mingwa clocks that you were mentally somewhere else.
saying your goodbyes, the four of you get up and shuffle out of the radio station and into the outside world where dozens of cameras await. the shutters fly at rapid pace, and the flash on some of them are nearly blinding, but you and your group smile and pose, despite the chaos happening.
shuffling into the car, you let the three others get inside first. you take the last seat in the sprinter van and buckle yourself in, resting your head against the headrest. “y/n, are you alright?” mingwa asks, concern clear and evident in her voice. you let out a breath and sit up, turning around to look at sunny.
“why did you start singing ‘candy’, soojin?” you ask, using her full name. she looks at you with wide eyes at her government being called and holds her hands up in surrender. “do you know what people are going to say?”
“sorry, mom,” she shoots back, giving you an incredulous look. “all they’re going to say is that i’m acting exactly like how the youngest person is supposed to be acting—interrupting you and singing over everybody. nobody is going to say anything about you and baekhyun.” you press your lips together, stumped because she’s most likely right, even though you have an inkling in the back of your brain that somebody is going to take notice, and make something out if it.
“well, you don’t really want people thinking you go around interrupting everybody,” you chastise. sunny rolls her eyes at you and sighs dramatically.
“we are quite literally the perfect group—i don’t know why you are so worried about our image all the time,” she says. you decide that the conversation is over, and sit facing forward again. sunny doesn’t understand that everything, at the end of the day, falls on you. people look at you like you birthed these girls and raised them up yourself. if one of them screw up, it falls on the entire group but rests on your shoulders to clean up. your image is so important to uphold, because there has only ever been one scandal to your groups name at the beginning of your careers that you did everything possible to stop the public from shaming you and the girls. it’s not easy to do that.
the ride is silent, save for their nails tapping against their phone screens. you sit with your eyes closed and your head leaned back, ready to dive into bed and maybe call baekhyun. maybe.
“would it really be that bad if everybody knew about you and baekhyun?” sunny asks, cutting into the silence. you open your eyes, but don’t turn around. the hair on your arms stands up at his name being mentioned so loudly, somewhere that isn’t the safety of your dorms.
“yes,” you reply. you think about the uproar it would cause, and what it would do to your career. his would be fine, of course, because the dismissal is never the same for men as it is for women. your group would probably have to disband, or you’d have to leave. it would look terrible, especially since you are the leader, if this was public news. “it would be awful, sunny. i cant lose my career over a man.” and while a nasty pang of guilt rips through your chest, it’s the truth.
“but… you told me you think that you love him. that’s not enough?” when she says these words, it’s like she’s 16 again, asking you why the world was mad at your group for a rumor about heejin. her voice is small, naive almost, and it reminds you how far apart you two really are.
you can’t help that your eyes start to water. “soojin, can we talk about this later?” you ask, blinking back the tears. you swallow thickly and pull your headphones out of your pocket, turning up your music loudly to block out any thoughts of you and baekhyun, and the public finding out.
getting back to the dorms, you head straight for your room. you close the door behind you and pull out your headphones and sigh, your head pounding. flopping onto the bed, you bury your face in the pillows and close your eyes.
you’re disrupted by a knock only moments later, and you let out a breath before telling whoever it is to come in. “y/n?” sunny’s voice calls from the doorway.
“yeah?” you roll over and sit up on your elbows to look at her. she gives you a sheepish smile and comes over to your bed, crawling in bed next to you like she used when you guys were trainees and she kissed her family.
scooting over, you make space for her to rest her head on your shoulder, your arm wrapping around her. “sorry for earlier. i guess i’m just trying to see the positive side to it,” sunny says.
“it’s fine,” you sigh. “i’m just super paranoid.”
“is baekhyun?” she asks.
you shake your head above her. it’s amazing to you that he seems to have no qualms or fears about your relationship becoming public. he’s fine with it being a secret or being news, and it makes you feel like shit, like it looks like you’re afraid of being seen with him. though it’s far from that. “no, and i guess that’s what makes me more stressed out. because he’s too chill about it, and doesn’t seem to be worried.”
“he’s old,” sunny snorts and you chuckle. there’s only four years between you and him, so she’s technically calling you old too, but you don’t say anything. “are you gonna tell him you love him?” she asks after a beat of silence. you still against her and she lifts her head to look at you.
it’s a sensitive subject—you and baekhyun haven’t said it yet. you won’t say it, because you’re afraid it’ll open a dam of bad things starting to happen. like once it’s out in the open, the worst possible thing could happen to your relationship. “maybe. i don’t know. probably not,” you ramble.
sunny gives you a sad look and squeezes you into a hug. she doesn’t say anything, and neither do you, but enough passes between the two of you. i’m here for you, she says. i know, you say back.
baekhyuns hands are on your ribs, holding you firmly and pressing you flush against the side of his car as he takes you into a nice, soft kiss. your arms snake around his neck, your fingers playing with the ends of his hair at his neck.
his lips move slowly against yours, his tongue slipping into your mouth with ease. your chest burns with adoration and want, and him tugging you closer to him only makes you throb. pulling away, his mouth chases yours and you let him kiss you again, this time letting him tilt your head back so you’re practically lying against the car.
it’s risky to be out in the open like this, but the parking garage is secluded and for residents of his apartment only. you would see and hear anybody coming through, but so far you haven’t in the last seven minutes.
you pull away from him again, and stop his advances by gently pressing your fingers to his lips. “baekhyun,” you say softly. he kisses your fingertips and then your cheek.
“yes?” he says, looking into your eyes with an intensity that makes your knees weak, so much so that you rest your weight against the car.
“can we go inside?” you ask, your fingers dancing on his cheek. he nods and kisses your palm before grabbing it and taking you to the elevators. baekhyun wraps an arm around your shoulders and pulls you into his side, kissing your temple for a long time, all the way until the doors open, and then pulling you down the hallway to his apartment.
he helps you out of your coat and hangs it up. “what do you want to eat?” he asks as you step out of your shoes.
“bold of you to assume i’m hungry,” you tease, but you’re always hungry around him, and you are hungry right now. baekhyun rolls his eyes at you and repeats his question. “i don’t know. chicken? ramen? rice? whatever you want.” you say, kissing his lips. he holds you close for a beat before letting you go so he can get something started for the two of you.
you bound to the living room and sprawl out on his large couch, turning the tv onto one of the many shows you two have started watching together. you get comfortable and pull a blanket over you, snuggling into the cushions while he busies himself with the task of making dinner.
baekhyun comes into the living room with two bowls of food a few minutes later. you sit up and thank him as you accept the dish, crossing your legs and resting the bowl in your lap. “what did i miss?” he asks, and you catch him up on the show in between bites.
you two eat in a close and comfortable silence. he’d probably have his arm around you if it wasn’t uncomfortable while you two were eating. the close proximity is enough though, your knees touching and his right arm lightly bumping into your left.
you set your bowl on the table, ready to get up to get a drink but baekhyun gets up quicker than you, already knowing what you want. he goes into the kitchen and comes back with two glasses of water. it feels like the world is slipping beneath your feet, and you could cry because of him.
this is the taking care of that heejin said you needed. you finally have it—he’s always like this with you, feeding you, making sure you’re well rested and fed and just okay. he takes whatever worries you have and throws them on his back and just lets you be.
after dinner, you and baekhyun retreat to his bedroom. you lie on his bare chest, a hand resting on his stomach and your ear against his heart. baekhyun mindlessy plays with your hair, his fingers digging into your scalp soothingly. your eyes can’t help but flutter close—there’s no point in trying to fight sleep. you’ll wake up with him tomorrow.
the speculations didn’t start the next day. no, everybody thought it was so cute and funny that sunny blurts out random things while her older members are talking. there were compilations made from your groups content; interviews, your group vlogs, and more. it was funny, honestly, that they adored her disruptiveness.
the speculations started four days later. and when the news broke, the internet nearly stopped working because there were pictures and videos. so many pictures and videos, that it felt like somebody may have been stalking you. there were pictures of you and baekhyun kissing against his car, of you two in his car, of you two getting out of his car, of you two going for a late night walk near the han river.
and then there were videos—albeit, mostly can made—that served as proof that you two really are dating. there’s the longing looks shared at award shows, zoomed in videos of you two standing next to each other on stages, hands brushing. the other videos are just more reasons to believe that you two are dating; heejin saying you need to be taken care of, and then clips of baekhyun taking care of his own members. videos of you talking about your ideal type, and clips proving that you must have been referring to baekhyun, or jaír got really lucky that you found him.
it’s overwhelming.
when the pictures surfaced, you and mingwa were in the practice room dancing to your debut songs. the alert popped up on your phones at the same time, but mingwa grabbed hers first. you heard her gasp and ran over, thinking she might’ve twisted her ankle, but instead were met with her guilty eyes and her perfectly fine ankle.
you didn’t know what to do when you saw the photos. your heart stopped and your felt sick. your head started pounding, and it felt like a rug was being pulled from underneath your feet. you didn’t know what to do, so you started crying, falling to the floor in a heap. you weren’t sobbing, but your were audibly crying, and mingwa wasn’t sure what to do. you managed to get yourself together, and excused yourself to your room, avoiding any staff members on your way.
and now you’re on the phone with baekhyun, trying not to burst into tears as he keeps telling you everything will be ok. “baekhyun, this was such a bad idea!” you cry, pressing your forehead into your hand.
“what was? dating me?” he asks, slight offense in his voice.
“yes!” you shout, but you don’t even believe yourself. “w-we shouldn’t have gotten involved.” you’re adding fuel to the fire, hoping he’ll just break up with you so you can say those photos aren’t real, and that you’re not longer dating so everybody can leave you alone.
“you don’t mean that,” baekhyun says, his voice soft on the other line. it makes you feel like shit. “do you?”
you shake your head, though he can’t see you. “no,” you say meekly. “but we- y/n, you knew this could happen even before we started dating.” he interrupts, shutting you up. you press your mouth into a thin line. “don’t try to push me away now, y/n.” the overuse of your first name makes you feel like you’re being scolded by an elder.
“okay, i’m sorry,” you say, sighing. baekhyun parrots you and you press your body into your mattress. now would be the ideal time to tell him you love him, but it feels like it would be a poor bandaid to apologizing for saying that you should have never agreed to date him. “i don’t know what to do.” you mumble.
“let our companies handle it. you just get some sleep,” he says. you chew on your bottom lip, wishing that he was here with you.
“okay. goodnight, baekhyun,” you say. i love you, you want to add.
“goodnight, y/n.”
when you wake the next morning, your group, managers, and baekhyuns team are all in the dorm lounge. you freeze when you see him, ready to jump out of the nearest window because you know exactly what is about to happen. “we need to release a statement,” your manager says, beckoning you over to everybody.
gingerly, you walk over to your girls, sitting next to heejin at the end of the sofa, the furthest you can get away from your boyfriend. “so, i assume it’s true? the rumors about you dating? you can say no, but i’ve seen the pictures,” baekhyuns manager says, looking over at you. you nod, and when everyone keeps staring at you, you pipe up and say “yes”, your voice hoarse.
“great. how long has it been?”
“seven months,” baekhyun says, his eyes flicking to you. heejin gasps beside you, grabbing everybody’s attention.
“oh, sorry!” she says, waving everybody off. “liar!” she whispers. you told her that it’s only been four months.
both of your guys’ managers read from what looks like a checklist of things, asking you questions and scribbling down answers so they can formulate each of your statements.
“are you happy?” your manager asks, not looking up from the sheet. it’s an easy questions, and you both answer ‘yes’ with ease. “are you in love?” the question lodges your heart in your throat, and the room gets eerily silent, so silent that you could hear a pin drop in the next room.
you don’t know what to say. you don’t want to lie, and look terrible, but you don’t want to tell the truth and further complicate your relationship.
you glance over at bakehyun, and find him already looking at you. you know what you’re going to say the moment your eyes meet, and you feel your stomach flip on it’s side. your heart melts like goo in your chest as you say, “yes”, admitting after many long months the one thing that’s been clawing at you in the back of your mind.
your manager scribbles down your answer and turns to baekhyun. “baekhyun?” he asks. his eyes never leave yours, and it feels like you’re the only two people in the room, despite the fact that there’s about 10 feet of distance between you two.
“of course,” he says it so sincerely that you drop your gaze to your lap, your face turning red and a smile overtaking your lips. your group members giggle and elbow you in your side, equally as happy to hear the news.
you feel over the moon, and your past paranoia is put away and shoved into a box that you choose to ignore for a moment. both of your teams curate statements, and they’re sent out less than an hour later. you and baekhyun take the rest of the day for yourselves, driving out far to the beach and hanging there all day until it gets dark, and your teeth start clattering because of the weather. and when you get in the car, he kisses you and you quite literally feel the love has for you, and your brain goes fuzzy to the point where all you can remember is his name, everything else being put to shame.
the responses you get to your relationship are much more positive than you expect, and of course there are negative comments, but not nearly as many as there are of the positive comments. people cnat help but gush at how you found your person, and are finally getting to get taken care of.
but, of course, cameras are on you more heavily than in the past. and now, when you go on variety shows solo, they want to know about your personal life before knowing about the group. you learn to get used to it, giving way to basically nothing, and sometimes sharing more than people expect, when you want to.
like, when you go on a variety show alone with a bunch of other idols, the same show baekhyun had been on in the past, they bring up an interview moment where baekhyun says that you’re the better dresser of the two of you. you’re asked the same question, and you answer baekhyun, and follow up with admitting that you’re wearing his clothes at that very moment. that makes the internet go crazy, searching high and low for pictures of baekhyun wearing the same item, comparing how it’s massive on you but fits him snugly.
or, when you attend the end of the year award shows and exo performs, the camera is on your group more often than you’d like to admit. there are fancams dedicated to your reaction of his groups performances, everybody focused on how you react to baekhyun specifically. of course, the same thing happens to him with you, and he’s a lot more shameless about his support of you.
you group responds well to your now public relationship. you’re able to get all five of you together more often, and they look at him like a bigger brother. sunny often tags along on your dates and asks about baekhyun and genuinely treats him like her uncle. she makes a lot of jokes about the two of you, mainly on camera. like, when you’re filming content for you groups vlog, she asks how baekhyun asked you out, and then sings the bridge of ‘blooming days’ by CBX, and does the dance too. the internet eats that up, constantly sharing the clip because it truly was funny.
despite the public news of your relationship, though, you and baekhyun manage to keep it private. besides what you choose to share, you can easily dodge questions about your private lives and keep the mystery alive. it does help your relationship now that more people know—there’s no threat of getting caught, or the constant feeling of breaking the rules. it’s easier now, and better than ever.

Savvy Day Care
Tumblr media
***THIS HAS NOT BEEN THROUGH A TYPICAL EDITING PROCESS; ALL SHORTS ARE ROUGH DRAFTS***
Sav sat in the driver seat of their shared brand-new Mercedes Benz sprinter passenger van going over his checklist to make sure he had all of his nieces. They had so many children and counting, a regular little mini-van wouldn’t do—like on ballet and gymnastics days that they all had together or when Jacob did field trips with them. Minus the boys who rarely made any fuss, all nine girls were very specific at times and some didn’t like sharing seat belts or their personal space if they weren’t in the best mood, so they invested in a sprinter and it’d been smooth sailing since.
“Melody, she so pretty make my heart all fluttery.”
“Here,” she cheerfully replied to her uncle. She didn’t always get to spend a lot of time with her father’s side of the family so being in the presence of her uncle and cousins made her happy.
“Delightful Damaris, she gon’ be a stunnin’ runway model in Paris.”
“Here!”
“Pretty Poppy, all these hoes gon’ wanna copy.”
“Here me go, Uncle Sav!”
“Savannah my precious banana,” Sav called then looked in the mirror and she raised her hand, still not able to verbally communicate much but they were working on it day by day. They mostly depended on sign language. He and Chi were just thankful she was able to walk on her own now without assistance. “Queen Day B, my G!”
“Here daddy!” she giggled.
“Aubree my gorgeous lil cup of tea.”
“Here,” she blushed.
“Ivory, my cute honeybee.”
“I’m right here,” she replied bashfully.
They loved their pet names given by Uncle Sav.
“Lovely Loire, even though you mean you the one I’ll always adore.” “Hmph!” she folded her arms with a scowl. The last thing she wanted to do was be in a leotard, tights, ballet shoes and a slick back bun. She looked just like a little Lake with an attitude.
“Ion know what hmph mean lil girl.”
“Me here!” Loire pouted, attitude on a hundred.
“You gon’ be flung over the bushes you keep actin’ up,” Sav threatened and she poked her lip out, and started crying into her sister’s arm. “My beautiful River gon’ always have my back and deliver…slaps! To ya muhfuckin’ dome on behalf of her uncle!”
“Here, Uncle Savy,” she laughed. “You make my sister cry,” River put her arm around Loire.
“She made her lil bad ass self cry. Loire cut it out before I get Sugar Sprinkle Pickle,” he referred to their dog that Lake let them name and she straightened up real quick. For some reason she was afraid of that little ass chihuahua. “Ard, everybody got their seatbelts on?” “Yes!” they all responded at the same time, Savannah nodding her head up and down.
“Do anybody gotta go number one or two before I pull off?”
“Nooo!”
“Goin’ once, goin’ twice, and we out!”
Jacob was on vacation for a week so what he’d usually tend to with their children was split between Sav, Lake, and Dem. Vant declined to help, wanting to use all of his free time from the kids trying to give Ivy another baby which she refused.
They had so many kids that keeping them active was necessary. They had tons of energy which needed to be channeled in something productive other than fighting with one another. Leave them in the house for too long, barrettes were flying, hair was being pulled and nothing but crying and screaming filled the air.
Once they arrived at the studio, Sav parked and got out making all of the girls hold hands as they crossed the lot. They basically had private lessons seeing as their group made up one class.
“Good afternoon!” their teacher, Ms. Farrah smiled as each of her tiny ballerinas marched into the studio. While the class went on Sav sat to the side taking pictures and videos, sending them in the group chat.
Avery: Fix Loire bow, she get on my nerves with that lil ass attitude! Ivy: Why is Aubree actin’ like we don’t practice the pliè at home? Ooh that girl! Vant: Fuck off my daughter bro Ivy: STFU! Avery: Nobody is talking about Damaris eatin’ everybody up though Chi: Straight running circles around them! Show them how it’s done Maris! Sav: My Banana is the best one Chi: And she is! Avery: She is doing so good, I’m so proud of her Ivy: Me too. Vant: Love Banny and all but I’m not bouta sit here and lie Ivory killin’ all them! Avery: LIES! It’s Damaris, River, THEN my pookie poo Ivory Ivy: Avery don’t make me kick your ass. Avery: Facts are facts! Lake: Can y’all all shut the fuck up? Chi: Husband! Why you gotta be so mean? Avery: Chi. Ivy: CTFU! Sav: I’m mutin’ y’all dickheads now Chi: You better not nigga! Ivy: Whose making dinner tonight? Avery: Not me! I’m tired and my back is hurting Chi: I can’t cook Lake: That’s why you need to sit the fuck down somewhere Avery: Do you see how you talk to me?😭 Ivy: Omg! Avery go away, you wasn’t complaining how he talk to you or crying when you laid up and got your ass pregnant again! He said sit down somewhere so SAT DOWN! Chi: Husband I woulda been sittin’ Sav: Chi get your fuckin’ head knocked off Vant: At least she lay down and get pregnant, some people act like it’s gon’ ruin their fuckin’ life to have another baby. Ivy: Vant do not start! You are not the one that has to PHYSICALLY go through a pregnancy! Vant: If I could carry my own fuckin’ babies I would! Sav: This nigga gay Wreck: Gay asf Vant: 🖕🏾
Pav: The girls are so cute! I wish I had a daughter to do ballet Sav: You late Pav: We were all napping Chi: You always sleep, let me find out you lettin’ Daly do you like Lake Daly: 🍆
Ivy: Okayyyyyyyyyyy! Get it get it! Vant: Ivy. Relax my nigga. Avery: I swear this is the last one. I can’t do this anymore. We’re gonna have to use condoms. Lake: Yea ok Ivy: TMI Chi: I would never make big daddy—nevermind Sav: Wait till I get home. Ima put a dent right in your fuckin’ forehead. Avery: LMAOOOOO! Big daddy that bitch! Chi: 🖕🏾 Dem: I’m not reading all that shit Ivy: Heyyy bookie Dem: Hey Avery: LMAO! Dem did you eat? Dem: No Avery: You want me to cook you some food? Sav: But you just said you was tired and your back was hurtin but now that Dem ain’t ate shit you got the energy Avery: Hater much? Vant: I’ll cook Wreck: Then I’m stayin home Daly: Me too Lake: I’m not eatin’ nothin Vant cook Pav: I will cook. Geez. Everybody be here by 8 Vant: Ayeee! Wreck: I’ll be over there Sav: You cook better than Avery anyway Avery: 🖕🏾
Sav: Ard the class is over. I’m takin all they asses to my house for a minute. Chi: Lord. Let me put up all my good shit Ivy: Don’t do that to them lmao Chi: You know they bad as shit! Sav: No, THEY kids is bad as shit. My babies is good. Dem: And mine Avery: So what tf are y’all saying? Ivy: Exactly! Wreck: Lake and Vant got some bad ass kids. Lake: Ok Daly: Now I need to put up all our good shit Ivy: Vant? Vant: Man…Ion feel like fightin’ and our kids is bad as shit Ivy: Wow. Sav: Bye dickheads!
Putting the phone in his pocket, Sav gathered his tribe of little ladies. They all walked to the van hand in hand talking over one another.
“Loire, you feel better?”
“Yes!” she answered her uncle now all smile. Sometimes it took his niece a minute to warm up.
“Good…who wanna go bother auntie Chi?”
“Meeeeee!” they all raised their hands at the same time.
“She’s my mommy,” Sav heard Day say.
“And she’s my auntie,” Aubree sassed.
“Don’t be mean to me.”
“Talk to the hand!”
“Daddy!” Day shouted. “She put her hand in my face,” she whined.
“Aubree chill out.”
“I’m tellin’ my daddy on you!” Aubree asserted.
“And what he supposed to do?”
“Beat chu up.”
“Your daddy can’t beat my daddy,” River added twisted her neck.
“I bet he can!”
“No he can’t!
“Ard,” Sav laughed. “Y’all chill, it ain’t that deep.”
“But Uncle Savy, she—”
“It’s ard River,” Sav turned to her giving her a look. “We know the real.”
River nodded then rolled her eyes at Aubree. “My daddy still can whoop uncle Vant, I seen him do it,” she whispered just having to get the last word.

Thinking about a Modern AU for the batch and these are my thoughts:
Hunter: Works as a park ranger. Can go on long rants about people leaving garbage on trails. Has scared several drunk/high people when he’s found them in off trail areas in the past, leading to local legends about a “half-skeleton man” roaming in the forests around the area. The batch teases him mercilessly about this.
Wrecker: works as a line cook in Cid’s pub. Man is unstoppable with new recipes and makes killer comfort food. Everyone in the kitchen loves him. No one cares about his scars and he loves it. Brings home the kitchen leftovers for the family and does hold this over them when he wants something.
Tech: a mechanic in a local garage by day, a freelance programmer by night. He’s the one who bought the Marauder (the family sprinter van) and will hide the keys out of spite. Wants to apply to a racing team but also refuses to leave his family. Is certified to fly/drive most vehicles but keeps it quiet so he can pull that out like a party trick.
Echo: wanted to be a paramedic like Rex and the rest of his 501st brothers, but being a triple amputee makes that hard. Instead he’s gone back to school to become a licensed therapist and the batch live closest to campus so he moved in with them. Volunteers at the big city hospital’s rehab centre on weekends.
Crosshair: took the longest to adjust to civilian life. Has had a string of truly awful customer service jobs but also found a passion for photography, especially wildlife. His sniper skills give him the ability to patiently wait for the perfect shot with a long lens camera (that all the batch scraped together the money for to make him happy). He’s had some success selling his photos to various magazines but refuses to make a big deal out of it. Wrecker’s hung several of his prints at Cid’s pub.
All of them volunteer with the local search and rescue. Gonky is the world’s fattest cat with the loudest purr and wonkiest meow.

It's been mountains for the past 2 stages and more mountains for the next 4 stages.
I'm very much looking forward to Tadej Pogacar of UAE Emirates snatching the yellow jersey from Jonas Vingegaard of Jumbo Visma. Realistically, he only has 4 stages left to make it happen.
I don't really care much for Jumbo Visma but I do miss seeing Wout Van Aert, Vingegaard's super domestique, winning Tour de France stages.
I'm also excited to see the sprinters particularly Jasper Philipsen back in action in stages 18, 19, and 21.
Allez!

Opening Up: A Helluva Boss Fanfic
This is my latest fanfic commission from @anitoonzforever
They requested a fanfic that takes place after Stolas and Blitzo go to Ozzie's, but this takes place instead of them parting ways.
If you are interested in a commission, please feel free to reach out to me!
Well, Blitzo thought, that was fucking humiliating.
The van rolled to a stop in front of Stolas’ mansion, and Blitzo threw it into park. He stared ahead of him and waited impatiently as Stolas struggled to climb out of the car, which was much too small for him in the first place. Stolas shut the door behind him, then leaned his head in the open car door window. Blitzo looked away as he spoke, unable to meet his gaze.
“Thank you for inviting me out tonight,” Stolas said softly.
Blitzo held in a groan of frustration. Why the fuck was Stolas thanking him? The whole thing was a fucking bust, and it was all Blitzo’s fault. Not that Stolas had been much help, though, when push came to shove. Blitzo couldn’t help but replay the scene in his head: Stolas hiding behind his menu at the mere thought that he would be seen with Blitzo.
Stolas continued. “Despite everything that’s happened, I enjoyed spending time with you.”
What a goddamn liar, Blitzo thought. Stolas didn’t have to pretend to like Blitzo. It’s not like Blitzo didn’t know what was actually going on.
Blitzo sighed and returned his eyes to the windshield. “Yeah.”
Stolas didn’t give up. “You know, I have some more wine… in the house. Octavia’s with her mother this weekend, so we could…”
There it was. The real reason Stolas wanted Blitzo around.
“I’m not fucking you tonight, okay?” Blitzo snapped, finally looking at the prince. “I’m really just…” Blitzo felt a tear in his eye, and he quickly hid his face behind his hand as he gathered himself. He had to watch his tone. Stolas was a prince, after all. Blitzo was just a stupid imp. That had been made clear at Ozzie’s. He sighed. “I’m not in the mood, Stolas.”
Blitzo didn’t expect what the prince said next.
“We could talk,” Stolas offered. “Or… watch a movie, or maybe cuddle?”
That sent Blitzo off the edge. He turned to face the owl, a scowl on his face. “Stolas, don’t act like what we have is anything but you wanting me to fuck you, okay?” A hint of emotion started to creep into Blitzo’s voice, but he persisted. “You make that really clear all the time. But, I just… I can’t do it tonight. Okay?”
When Stolas was silent, Blitzo risked a quick glance in his direction. Stolas looked… genuinely upset. “I’m sorry,” Blitzo said, his eyes returning to the steering wheel.
Still, Stolas didn’t move from the van window. “Blitz,” he said in a gentle voice, “I promise that I have no expectations of you for tonight. If you would like to leave… that’s okay. But I would love to enjoy your company for at least a little longer.”
Blitzo closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Fine. If that’s what Stolas wanted, then fine. Without saying a word, he opened the van door and got out before slamming it behind him. He didn’t look at Stolas as he stalked into the mansion, but he could hear Stolas’ footsteps behind him.
Stolas shut the door gently behind them and asked Blitzo, “Red or white?”
“I don’t care,” Blitzo responded shortly as he made his way into the living room without bothering to wait for Stolas. Inside his head, his thoughts felt like they were running a marathon at a sprinter’s pace. His emotions weren’t far behind. Luckily, he had learned over the years how to shove those away into a nice tiny bottle, which was only opened when he was totally and completely alone, and preferably drunk.
Stolas entered the living room a few moments later with two bottles of wine, one red and one white. “I couldn’t decide what to bring,” he explained awkwardly. He set two glasses in front of them. One was smaller and obviously meant for Blitzo, but Blitzo immediately reached for the larger.
Blitzo popped open the bottle of red and poured it in his glass until it reached the brim. Typically, Blitzo would choose to forgo the glass altogether and drink straight from the bottle, but this bottle took him two hands to even lift, and he didn’t want to look like an infant with a sippy cup. He set the bottle down and grabbed his glass.
He brought it to his lips and drank without saying anything. Beside him, he could tell that Stolas was reeling, just looking for something to say. What was there to say? Nothing that Blitzo could think of. They had both been absolutely humiliated, but Stolas… Stolas was humiliated because of Blitzo.
“So,” Stolas started, but he didn’t seem to know how to follow it up.
“So,” Blitzo echoed. He took another long drink from the glass and waited for Stolas to say something else.
He listened as Stolas started and stopped speaking several times over, never getting past, “I feel,” or “I think” before abandoning a sentence. Blitzo felt his stomach wind itself tighter each time Stolas fell silent. He knew what this was. He had been here before, and he knew that the best way out of it was to hurt the other person before they could hurt you.
“I get it, Stolas,” Blitzo said abruptly. “I humiliated you. I know that. You don’t have to try to pretend that you still want to be with me in any capacity after that.”
            Stolas frowned. “No, I⸺”
Blitzo cut him off. “Don’t. You don’t have to tip toe around the problem. You can’t be seen with me anymore, even if you wanted to.” He set the glass of wine down on the table and crossed his arms over his chest. “We can break off the deal and go our separate ways. I will find a way to the human world without the stupid book.”
There was a second of silence, and Blitzo started to stand, but Stolas grabbed his arm. “Wait,” he said. “Please. Sit.”
Blitzo sighed and sat back down. Why was Stolas dragging this out?
Stolas kept his hand rested gently on Blitzo’s arm as he spoke. “I knew that you would be worried about the deal,” he said, his voice soft, “but I want you to know that I am not calling the deal off. At least, I will allow you to keep the book. If you do not want to have relations with me any longer, then I will not ask.”
So, Stolas was turning this around on him now? He was making it seem like Blitzo wanted this?
Blitzo clenched his jaw. “Don’t do that. Don’t make it seem like my decision.”
“But it is,” Stolas assured him. “I do not see you as just part of a deal. I do not care about what others think, and I am sorry for acting as I did back at Ozzie’s. If I could go back and do it over, everything would be different.”
Blitzo felt something stir up inside him, but he did his best to push it down. “Yeah, right,” he mumbled.
“It’s true.” Stolas moved his hand from Blitzo’s arm to lace their fingers together. Blitzo let him.
Blitzo turned his face away from Stolas, processing what the owl prince was telling him. “No. I’m just another imp to you. One who fucks you, sure, but that’s it. A… plaything.”
He could hear the shift in Stolas’ voice. It didn’t sound like pity, however. It was apologetic. Remorseful. “I never should have called you that,” he said. “I never meant to make you feel that way.”
Blitzo rolled his eyes and reached for his glass, untangling his fingers from Stolas’ as he did. “Yeah, well…”
This time, Stolas cut him off. “No, Blitz, I need you to understand this,” Stolas said, still soft but somewhat stern. “You mean more to me than their opinions ever will. I chose you because I like spending time with you. Everything else is a bonus.”
For the first time, the words actually seemed to get through to Blitzo. He the glass back down without taking a drink. “You don’t mean that.” His voice sounded strained as he spoke. “You can’t mean that.”
“I can, and I do,” Stolas told him firmly. He reached out and gently turned Blitzo’s head so he could look into his eyes. “Understand?”
Blitzo felt his throat get tight from holding back tears. His voice broke a little as he asked, “What do you really think of me, Stolas?”
Stolas’ gaze softened. “Oh, Blitz,” he murmured, “I think that you are one of the strongest beings I know. I think that you are genuine and determined, and you are more talented than you know.”
Blitzo didn’t know how to respond. His brain was yelling at him that it was all bullshit, but part of him believed Stolas. Stolas’ eyes caught his, and before he could say anything, Stolas told him, “I want to be with you, Blitz, no matter what.”
Those were the words that struck Blitzo at his core. Tears sprung to his eyes, and he tried to turn his face away, but Stolas stopped him. “You don’t have to hide from me,” Stolas told him softly. He pulled Blitzo into his lap, letting the smaller demon rest his head against his chest as he cried. Stolas held him tight, allowing him to let all of the emotions out.
Blitzo didn’t understand. No one wanted to be with him. In fact, no one willingly spent time with him, not even his own daughter. Why should Stolas be any different? Yet, here he was, looking Blitzo in the eye and telling him that he wanted him, consequences be damned.
After a few minutes, Blitzo quieted and stilled. Stolas lifted Blitzo’s face up, wiped his eyes, and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. “I’m not going anywhere,” he whispered, “no matter what.”
Thank you again to @anitoonzforever for the commission!

Running hot shots is one of the easier ways to start your own trucking company. A lot of owner-operators get into the business this way because of the lower cost of equipment. Instead of investing in a big rig, hot shot truckers use sprinter vans, straight trucks, 4x4 pickups with goosenecks, and other smaller vehicles to haul lighter loads.
Seeking out small-truck loads or LTL (less than truckload) loads has a lot of pros and cons, but one of the most confusing things about the business is figuring out what rate you should charge.
Hot shot loads vs. LTL loads
Hot Shot loads: freight that needed to be delivered quickly and could fit on a removable gooseneck or in a box truck. A lot of hot shot loads come from industries like construction and oil fields, where equipment needs to be moved quickly so it can be used at a different site.
LTL loads: the traditional way of handling LTL freight is to combine multiple LTL loads until a full-sized trailer is filled with a full truckload. Traditional LTL carriers usually price each individual LTL load based on its freight class and how much trailer space is required.
There are 18 classes of freight, based on density, handling, liability and stow-ability. Class 50 freight moves at the lowest rates, because the freight is dense, easy to handle, and difficult to damage. The highest rates go to Class 500 freight, which is lighter but takes up a lot of space.
Nowadays, terms like "LTL" and "hot shot" might be used to describe the same load.
You can use the freight class as a starting point to figure out how to price that load, but there's more that goes into the rate. What lane are you running, and how easy is it to find trucks on that lane? How fast does the customer need the load delivered? How hard will it be for you to find a load for the return trip?
Hot shot rates typically include fuel costs, so you'll need to have a good idea of what your costs per mile are, that way you know how much you'll need to charge to make a profit.
Do you need an MC number for hot shots?
If you're going to cross state lines, yes, you have get your own operating authority before you can legally haul hot shot and LTL loads. So, while the cost of equipment is lower for hot shot carriers, other startup expenses like getting your motor carrier authority will be the same. You'll also have to make sure you have the proper insurance coverage. If you're hauling across state lines, you'll need to file IFTA fuel taxes.
Want to make sure you're compliant? We can take care of the paperwork for you.
Where to find hot shot and LTL loads
You can use a load board like DAT TruckersEdge to find small-truck loads. When searching for loads, you can choose to search for "Full" or "Partial" loads. You can find hot shot and LTL loads by choosing "Partial." You can also use the load board to find regular customers. If you see that a company posts a lot of partial loads on a lane that you run, you can start building a relationship with them.
TruckersEdge also shows the average spot market rate that truckers have been paid on each lane. Those rates are for full truckloads, and shippers and brokers with hot shot or LTL loads will mostly expect to pay less than that. You can still use the rates shown in the load board as a guide to know which lanes pay more than others.
Generally speaking, LTL shipments of 1,000 lbs pay 8-15% of the full truckload rate. Hot shot loads that are short haul or expedited might pay nearly as much as the full truckload rate. On a longer haul, if someone 500 miles away needs two pallets delivered by the next morning, they might be willing to pay $3/mile or more.
AVAAL partners with DAT to offer a special on the TruckersEdge Load Board to its members. Sign up for TruckersEdge today and get your first 30 days free by signing up at https://bit.ly/2IbuHhk. This offer is available to new TruckersEdge subscribers only.

On-Site Coordination: Designate a point of contact or coordinator to oversee transportation logistics on the day of the event or meeting, ensuring that all participants are accounted for and that the transportation schedule runs smoothly.
Contingency Planning: Anticipate potential disruptions or delays and have contingency plans in place to address unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic congestion or inclement weather.
By taking these steps, organizers can minimize the risk of transportation-related issues and ensure a positive and stress-free experience for all involved.

In conclusion, corporate and group transportation plays a vital role in the success of business events, meetings, and outings. Choosing Between 10-Passenger Vans and SUVs for Your Group:
Selecting the appropriate vehicle becomes paramount when transporting a sizable group or embarking on a family road trip. The choice often boils down to ten-passenger vans versus SUVs, each with its unique advantages and characteristics. This detailed guide dissects the critical variables to aid in making an educated decision.
Whether planning a family vacation, a group outing, or simply needing a spacious vehicle, delve into the pros and cons of 10-passenger vans versus SUVs. We'll scrutinize aspects such as capacity, comfort, cargo space, fuel efficiency, towing capabilities, handling, ownership costs, and more to guide you in choosing the option that aligns with your preferences.
Capacity and Space: Comparing 10-passenger vans to SUVs reveals the former's superiority in capacity and space. Specifically designed for large parties, 10-passenger vans comfortably seat up to ten individuals, ensuring a spacious and comfortable journey. In contrast, SUVs, while adaptable, may struggle to accommodate ten passengers, making them better suited for smaller groups valuing passenger and cargo room.
Comfort and Accessibility: Emphasizing comfort, 10-passenger vans prioritize ample legroom, making even extended travels enjoyable. These vans often go the extra mile with amenities like air conditioning, entertainment systems, and plush upholstery. SUVs, while generally luxurious, vary in comfort depending on size. Larger SUVs provide ample legroom, while smaller ones may lack spaciousness. Accessibility also varies, with larger SUVs requiring considerable climbing to access rear seats.
Cargo Space: In terms of cargo space, 10-passenger vans, exemplified by popular models like the 10-passenger Sprinter van rental, shine brightly. Designed for versatility, they effortlessly transport both passengers and luggage or equipment. The ample cargo capacity makes them a popular choice for various group excursions, ensuring convenient loading and unloading.
Fuel Efficiency: Considering fuel efficiency, 10-passenger vans may lag due to larger engines, impacting gas mileage compared to SUVs. SUVs offer a broader range of fuel efficiency, with smaller models often having better gas mileage. The rise of hybrid and electric SUVs provides fuel-efficient alternatives for environmentally conscious consumers.
Towing Capacity: In the realm of towing capacity, many 10-passenger vans offer versatility, capable of towing trailers for family trips or transporting equipment. While some SUVs have towing capabilities, specialized 10-seater vans often surpass them, making vans a preferable option for those needing towing capacity.
Handling and Maneuverability: Considering handling and maneuverability, 10-passenger vans present challenges in urban areas due to size. Parking and navigating crowded streets may require extra care. In contrast, SUVs are generally more nimble, ideal for city driving and tight spaces, although their size can impact handling.
Cost of Ownership: Factoring in the cost of ownership, 10-passenger vans may have higher initial costs and operational expenses due to size and fuel consumption. SUVs, with better fuel efficiency, often result in lower running costs and more stable long-term value.
In conclusion, the choice between SUVs and 10-passenger vans depends on specific needs. Vans excel in accommodating both passengers and cargo, while SUVs offer a versatile family and commuter option. Consider ride quality, gas mileage, and maneuverability in your decision-making process. Renting a Mercedes-Benz 10-passenger van is an excellent option for transporting large groups, offering luxury and comfort for memorable trips.

How to Turn Your Sprinter Weekender Van Into a Cozy Mobile Home?
Tumblr media
Turning your Sprinter Weekender van into a cozy mobile home is an exciting project that can transform your travels into comfortable and memorable experiences. With careful planning and creative touches, you can create a cozy space that combines functionality with a homey atmosphere.
Planning and Layout: Start by planning the layout of your van conversion. Consider the essentials such as a sleeping area, kitchenette, storage, and a compact bathroom if space allows. Think about how you'll use the space and prioritize features based on your needs.
Insulation: Insulating your van is crucial for maintaining a comfortable interior temperature. Use materials like foam board or spray foam insulation to keep the van warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather. This step is fundamental to creating a cozy and energy-efficient mobile home.
Flooring: Choose a durable and easy-to-clean flooring material for your van. Options like vinyl, laminate, or engineered wood are popular choices. Consider adding a soft rug or carpet for extra comfort.
Sleeping Area: Design a comfortable sleeping area that maximizes space. A foldable bed or platform with storage underneath is a practical solution. Invest in a quality mattress or mattress topper for a good night's sleep.
Kitchenette: Create a compact kitchenette with a portable stove, a sink, and storage for utensils and cookware. Utilize foldable or collapsible items to save space. Consider a small refrigerator or a cooler for perishables.
Storage Solutions: Optimize storage by using multi-functional furniture and clever storage solutions. Utilize vertical space with shelves, cabinets, and hanging organizers. Keep clutter to a minimum for a more comfortable living environment.
Lighting: Install LED lighting to brighten up the interior. Consider task lighting for specific areas like the kitchen and reading nooks. String lights or LED strips can add a cozy ambiance in the evenings.
Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation by installing windows, roof vents, or a fan. Proper airflow is essential for comfort and preventing condensation. Consider installing screens to keep bugs out when the windows are open.
Curtains or Blinds: Add curtains or blinds for privacy and to block out light when needed. This simple addition can also enhance the overall aesthetics of your mobile home.
Power Supply: Install a reliable power supply system. This may include solar panels, a secondary battery, and an inverter to charge your devices and power appliances. Having a self-sufficient power source adds to the freedom of living on the road.
Decor and Personal Touches: Personalize your space with decorative items, throw pillows, and blankets. Consider incorporating your style into the design to make the van feel like a true home away from home.
Entertainment System: Enhance your mobile home experience with an entertainment system. Install speakers, a small TV, or a multimedia center for music and movies during downtime.
Outdoor Living Space: Create an outdoor living space with a foldable table and chairs. Enjoying the outdoors is an integral part of van life, and having a designated outdoor space extends your living area.
Maintenance and Safety: Regularly maintain your van to ensure everything is in working order. Install safety features such as a carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher for peace of mind.
By combining functionality with personal touches, you can turn your Sprinter Weekender van into a cozy and inviting mobile home. This project allows you to embrace the freedom of the road while enjoying the comforts of home wherever your adventures take you.
