What’s your favourite crystal/gemstone? I've always loved crystals, having a very special piece of Rose Quartz that a friend gave us when Joel and I where first living together which brought peace and love into our already strong relationship. We still have it now after 21 years of being together. I’ve become much more involved in using them in recent years, since becoming ill. I have used them since I had my first reiki healing sessions and began to truly understand more about their strengths, properties and why they can bring so much positive energy. I’m lucky enough to have been treated by someone who came to my house and she cleared the energies in my bedroom where I spend most of my time and guided my choice of stones to place under my pillow for healing for headache conditions. Magnesite is magnesium carbonate stone and Magnesium is well known to help relive the intensity of severe migraines - my stones even look like brains. I added Amethyst and Rose Quartz which are all round healing stones, linked to helping relieve migraines; as is Lapis Lazuli which is also a calming stone. Citrine is known to relieve pain and clear the mind making it a good addition to this mix, which I occasionally boost with other stones, I’ve been soul searching during my time out and considered how these crystals can help others, as I’m already using them in my designs. I decided to add some of the healing energies of gemstones used into all my listings so other chronic illness or mental health warriors can understand the benefits of wearing the crystals I use.
