I've been posting much more on twitter so here's a dump of literally everything I've done about the au, it's called spookysoul and Its purely self indulgent because I miss soul eater and am rewatching it

Oh also!! I had another cute/silly idea,,

Skid and Pump meet Death and immediately ask for his autograph, they are big fans and think he is really cool and spooky

YEAH THATS KINDA HOW IT GOES LMAO, they're introduced to lord death and immediately they bombard him with questions and think he's really cool, skid loves that death also has a skeleton aesthetic, as much as they're aware he's a cool guy I don't think they've really put two and two together on how big of a figure he is, all the know is "he's the the guy who runs the school ms Lila/mom went to"

Also idk where to add this but It was Kid who introduced them to his father while giving them a tour of the school as they expressed interest in wanting to be students

Oh also before I forget I really like Ross and Robert's weapon designs :> They give Roy big knight vibes!

I also really like how while the other weapons just kinda Appear in reflections or the like Robert has his own personal window in the shield to look out of, it's cute

YEAH!!!! actually the knight vibe is intentional! Roberts a shield because he's the most passive of the group but still fiercely protective, while Ross is a sword because he's the most likely to take action when it comes to protecting others.

At first Carmen was against letting Roy hang around them but once Roy told her that they where his weapons she (begrudgingly) let it slide. though she not so subtly tries to suggest other weapons to him, examples of conversations:

C- are you sure you want to have TWO weapons? That's alot for work.

R- wouldn't it look better on our family if I made TWO death scythes?

C- well if it's the family image you care about then get more classy wrapons

R- isn't a sword and shield "chivalrous" or something?

And arguments to that extent

ALSO YES! Robert has a little window on his shield since apparently all weapons (in the show) have like...an eye? So they can see when in weapon form. But I couldn't figure out how to make an eye fit on Roberts design so I went for a window instead :D

Dude I LOVED Soul Eater when I was younger!! I barely remember any of it but it has a special place in my heart <3 Seeing a SM/SE AU is so cool!

Also uh. It gave me a silly idea-

Ooga Booga with Excalibur

She is the only one able to handle his obnoxiousness and she doesn't even use him for anything cool, just to scare more people

Words CANNOT DECRIBE how funny this is, I sent a screenshot of this to my friend who's helping me with the AU and it's canon now. No one can change my mind, and I think what makes this funnier is in SpookySoul Ooga Booga is a witch, she's not evil she just likes to mess with people and scare them
