a small town with a population of less than three thousand, nestled comfortably at the foot of the black mountains in north carolina, clydesferry has always been chock full of rumors and rot, the truth being censored to be more digestible and to protect the history of the land and the mountains. erected atop the converging ley lines that lead into a hellmouth at the heart of the mountains, the town had long since been a point where mortals, myths and magic collided, and the people of clydesferry protect the secrets of their town more fiercely than a bear protects her cubs, but with so much death plaguing the founding families since the early 2000s and with whispers of ghostly spectres being sighted, the town now plays host to federal law and ghost hunters alike all while the witches attempt to make peace with the disrupted energies that dwell within the mountain, yawning with hunger.

Something just felt... wrong.
He didn't know how to explain it, but today just felt wrong. It didn't help that Yancy has been acting a little more off than usual either. Once so open and honest, now... closed and reserved. He figured once he was ready, he would share. But now he wasn't so sure.
Wilford shakes his head. What was he doing again? Right, food. Explains the treats in his hands.
Ringing up the customer, he fidgets with his hands behind the counter. He was bored... very bored. He needed something to do. Maybe he could bring a treat basket for Yancy and his friends, cheer them up a bit. That didn't sound too bad! Maybe some fresh apple fritters would make things better.
-@wilfordsbakingshop
Hank didn't like being out of Yancy's sight, especially after some bad shit has gone down. But he also wasn't about to disobey a direct order from a man who was only worried about protecting the love of his life. The fact of the matter was that Yancy currently wasn't in any shape to get Wilford himself, and he trusted Hank to do it. So he would, without a second thought.
Pulling up to the sidewalk in an old sedan, Hank leaves the vehicle and walks through the doors of the bakery, ignoring the stares he's sure he's getting. His suit is rumpled and dirty, face also covered in dust. A butterfly bandage was hastily slapped onto his forehead above his eyebrow, evidence of the blood that had leaked from it dried down his cheek and on his collar.
He's going to scare Wilford half to death, probably, but that might expedite getting him out of there.
"Wilford... I need you to close up shop and come with me. Now."

Zizzi would enjoying the view of the ocean as she took a deep breath now. "It sure is a nice summer. But why do I need the dress?" She would speak into the ear piece as she was walking by the docks. She hadn't taken noticed the lady running by her. She was soon taken off guard when she felt a sudden shove as she stumbled. (Frozen)
"Well Zizzi, you're in the Kingdom of Arendelle, and judging from how festive the place is, the Queen Elsa is coming of age to become queen." Chronoa said into Zizzi's earpiece.
“What do you want, Sven?” Kristoff asked to his reindeer growing up with him as he speaks for him. “Give me a snack!” He said in a different voice, speaking for him.
“What’s the magic word?” He asked pulling out a carrot. “Please.” Kristoff said as he chomps on the carrot. “Share!” Kristoff said as Sven shares the carrot.
Meanwhile, Anna was dancing and singing about the gates being open for the first time in forever as Elsa prepares for the coronation. But she also has to remember to conceal her ice powers, but don't feel fear.
Anna then bumps into Zizzi. "Sorry!" She then bumps into Princes Hans' horse and falls into a boat. "Oh! I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?" Hans asked. “No. I’m… I’m okay.” Anna said towards the gentleman when she had bumped into his horse. “Sorry. I just wasn’t looking where I was going. But I’m great, actually.” She said towards the individual.

character: collie
open: m/f/nb
plot: collie is kept locked in the crumbling louisiana mansion by her overbearing mother, which has given her an unhealthy fear of the outside world. your muse has come by their property for whatever reason, maybe they're intending to rob the home because it looks abandoned or they've heard rumors about witches living in the old winesap house. it could be an innocent happenstance or your muse has nefarious intentions. either way, it's their first meeting!
this post was made using beta editor, please do not reblog it in legacy as i no longer have access to it!
no one ever visited. no one she hadn't known since she was a little girl, at least, and even then, the extended family she had didn't come by much unless to ask for money. there was rarely ever a stranger, some door-to-door salesmen or meter reader, and on the few occasions they had made their way to the front door, her mother made collie hide. it was early in the morning that day, though, the sun just starting to rise over the trees. it gave the world a dusty, orange glow. she loved to be awake so early in the morning, because her mother wouldn't wake until later and it was the only time colette had to herself. sitting on the bench swing that was on the wraparound porch, she was enjoying the solitude when she suddenly realized she wasn't alone. her first instinct was to scream, wake up her mother and force the stranger off their land. her second was to beg them to steal her away. getting up off the swing, she approached them quickly but wore an expression of hesitation. it took a moment for her to find her voice, so unused to speaking to anyone that wasn't related to her: "h...hey. you can't, um... you can't be here." collie tried to sound confident and protective of her home. however, she felt excited. "my mother... if she sees you, she'll kill you."
