The Color Wheel challenge, but with Darkwing Duck villains. I made this a few months ago, but even then it was a little after people stopped doing this challenge, lol. Better late than never?
It was a long process deciding who would be in it and what color everyone would be, but this seemed like the best combination I could come up with.
Extra note: I know Solego isn't just a DW villain, he was in a 5 issue crossover series, but hey, DW did get the final blow in.

Honestly, even Ducktales 2017 and Star vs could be connected to Amphibia also with Echo Creek in the same Earth as that show (assume Amphibia's finale is before Star's finale) and Duckburg and Mewni are alternate worlds explored through the Calamity Box, Eda's door, Ramrod Solego thing, and dimensional scissors. Plus Chris Houghton says Amphibia's in the same universe as Big City Greens too.
I forgot about those.
Ducktales could be the new continent Ivy was talking about. Amphibia has to happen after Ducktales cause of the moon.
Svtfoe has to happen after Amphibia.
I don't know Ramrod Solego and Big City Greens so I can't say anything.

Gyro has really had a huge impact on a lot of people's lives in DuckTales. And sadly, he was so overlooked (by both the characters and the production crew)...
If it hadn't been for his OxyChew supplying Della with oxygen, nutrition, and water, she never would have survived to make it back to her family; the Ducks really owe him a huge debt of gratitude. It honestly bothers me how ungrateful Della was; I mean, I get how horrible it must've been to suffer the taste of black licorice for a decade (and to have the taste permanently stuck in your mouth after that), but c'mon...
In 'The Most Dangerous Game... Night', if Gyro hadn't shown up with his shrink ray and interfered in the Ducks' game night, Louie- who was questioning how he fit into the family- might not have discovered his talent of seeing all the angles, and how that contributes to the family on their adventures, and how he could use that talent to someday have his own successful business like Scrooge.
If Gyro hadn't created the armor in the first place (before it became the Gizmoduck armor, back when it was still known as Project Blatherskite and was supposed to be Gyro's ultimate project and solution to regain control over his inventions after they always turn evil), Fenton never would have discovered that his passion for helping others- which he still always loved doing as a scientist, even after becoming Gizmoduck- could also extend to being a superhero. And Gyro actually gave him the new-and-improved model of the armor in the end, which he specifically built for Fenton (self-contained, using Fenton's brain as the core processor this time); granted, that was on Scrooge's orders, and Gyro still thought Fenton was a danger to himself and others in the suit, but the point stands.
If Gyro and his technology hadn't helped Scrooge get back his gold Rockerduck stole (Gyro happened to be stuck in the Old West with his Time Tub, which was a fortunate coincidence), Scrooge wouldn't have gotten that part of his fortune or that part of his legacy.
Gyro took Manny on as an intern and gave him his own name- and yes, Frank Angones indeed confirmed he got his name from Gyro, which likely explains why Gyro actually remembers it- allowing our favorite Headless Man-Horse to become more of a normal guy with a normal life like he wanted, instead of just an evil supernatural creature or 'freak'.
Gyro played a huge part in helping disable the Solego Void before Donald could be erased when Bradford threw him in!
As @sometimes-they-come-back-237 pointed out in a very similar Gyro appreciation post (which I think is such a fun coincidence, and it's so cool more people agree), he saved both Della and Donald, and he deserves a raise (and more respect by Della)!

DuckTales (2017) Discussion Time!
Let’s say one day Disney decided “Hey we should make a video game based off the 2017 reboot of DuckTales!” What type of video game would YOU want that DuckTales video game to be?
Feel free to be in-depth as you want! Or if you want answer along the lines of “Mario Kart but with ducks” that’s also acceptable! Feel free to respond or reblog with your own answers!

Game Idea 1: Platformer
Well I’m sure all the older fans of DuckTales or anyone who is familiar with retro gaming should already know that the ducks have had plenty of adventures in gaming: Including two NES platformers based of the OG DuckTales as well as a remastered version of the first game!
Fun Fact! The remastered version is where the Gyro’s black licorice oxychew came from!
So I wouldn’t mind if we got a platformer starring the modern cast! Personally I’d love to play more than just Scrooge. The playable characters in my mind would be the main five: Scrooge, Webby, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Oh and instead of a 2D platformer, I think this should be a 3D platformer
Donald has been in one of those before!
Like the NES game there will be different levels and you can select which one you want to go first! The world’s would be pretty big with certain areas only accessible to certain characters through their own respected skills
Game Idea 2: Fighting Game
DuckTales (2017) has the perfect cast of characters for a fighting game! They’re all adventurers that know how to fight! And they have their own distinct costumes, personalities, and fighting styles! Also can you imagine the different fighting stages?! That casino Gladstone got stuck in, Gyro’s lab, Darkwing’s lair, the Cloudslayer/Sunchaser (both the garage and on the plane), the dream world(s), the list goes on! Also Bradford in that armor from the finale in front of the The Solego Vortex would make for a GREAT final boss stage
Also besides the heroes I want the villains to be playable characters, this roster would be stacked! Also characters like Fenton and Drake can switch between their regular identities and their superhero identity
But most importantly, I want more character interactions! One thing I love in modern fighting games is their character specific dialogue between two fighters! It’s always fun and the characters from DuckTales would be perfect for that!

You know what? I want Huey, Dewey, and Louie as a team to count as one playable character kinda like how the Turtles are in Injustice. Same with May and June
Game Idea 3: RPG
I admit I ain’t the biggest RPG guy, the ones I really played through are stuff like the Mario themed ones, Pokémon, and Kingdom Hearts but I really think the DuckTales world would be perfect for this kind of game
I actually talked about this idea with @tokuvivor awhile back. We kinda imagined a turn based RPG with timed hits and party members like you’d see in Super Mario RPG and the early Paper Mario games (also Mario & Luigi but just for timed hits)
Since DuckTales has such a huge cast we thought it’d be fun if in the game you could meet different characters throughout the game and have them join your party. We were thinking about having 3-5 members for the player’s party and the only requirement would be one of the main characters (one of the triplets, Webby, or Scrooge) has to be in that group at all times. Kinda like the Mario ones require Mario to always be present in the team
Like I said about the fighting game, DuckTales has such a wide range of characters with their own unique skills, I think it’d be cool building your team to your liking
Game Idea 4: Mario Kart but with Ducks
Okay. Now I know that there have been a lot of Disney racing games some of which have featured some of these characters already. But come on, a Mario Kart type game in the DuckTales world would be so cool!!
Imagining driving around Scrooge’s Mansion in a go-kart! He’d be pissed but it’d be cool! Or in the streets of St. Canard! Or any of the places where the family has adventured!
But what would be REALLY cool is if Funso’s Fun Zone was a track! Just imagine this! You drive around Funso’s then all of sudden you find path leading down to F.O.WL.’s Lair!! That’d be so cool!

Since I made a mommy for Drake, it only figures I have to make a daddy for him as well... and of course with them being the "mallard" family, I wanted to actually make him an actual Drake Mallard duck. He has the same facial structure of his son, but he is a pretty bad father all things considering. He's a chauvinist and treated his son and wife very badly, criticizing them all the ways he can (for example, he calls Drake girly for having his mother's feather plummage instead of his)... after a car wreck that leaves his body shattered, F.O.W.L secretly stole his body and transformed him into a cyborg. He would have been used as weapon should the solego circuit fail, but since F.O.W.L was shut down, he has been dormant in a testing tube... But now he has finally emerged and ready to bring armageddon on the world. He lurks in the shadows watching a purple duck in a hat and a cape, not even realizing that it is his son from long ago. Ngl, Emperor Belos from Owl House and Obito Uchiha from Naruto (Also the voice I imagined for him.) heavily inspired his facial looks, and his cyborg body was inspired a lot from Resident Evil 2 with William Birken lol.
Just like Willow Mallard, you can use him, just remember to credit me!!

I've never seen your art before yesterday. I saw your drawing of solego and I was hit with, what I can only describe as, religious reverence. It should be stained glass in a chappel. I was so struck by that piece and i cannot stop thinking about it. I don't even like solego that much. I much prefer lunala. Your art is magic to me

i do art purely as a hobby on my own time and didn’t really post it anywhere until i decided to make this blog mostly as an archive for whatever i made. i was so surprised to even get notes much less requests, but the support has helped me get out of my comfort zone & draw pokémon i wouldn’t normally. just btwn you & me, i prefer lunala also 👀
i like to play around with different kinds of styles and just do whatever tickles my fancy for individual pieces, but i did really enjoy making the solgaleo & i thought it turned out super well. i’m currently working on a couple of other requests atm but i’ll keep in mind what you said - i definitely think lunala would also look pretty good in that particular style…

What’s your favorite Darkwing Duck comic?

It had a Fantastic Four parody (it was my introduction to them actually) a doppelgänger for Steelbeak who was never properly explained, and it showcased everything I love about Darkwing Duck, Launchpad McQuack, and Gizmoduck, without straying from their canon personalities.
I also enjoyed “Mondo The Mad Mask Misappropriator” for the inclusion of a retirement home for former superheroes (Gosalyn calling Darkwing “Pops” was weird), and for making a character with giant springs on his shoes both funny and believably menacing. https://www.tumblr.com/darkwingcomics/631727348871479296/mondo-the-mad-mask-misappropriator-disney
“Busman’s Holiday” was too short and hilarious. “Legend of the Choas God” is one that stood out and stuck with me for decades. It’s the first story that had multiple Disney Afternoon shows crossover and it had a brief acknowledgment in the Ducktales Reboot with a book mentioning Solego, the character who tied this series together. Here is the first comic in the series. I am glad the Fluffy stories got acknowledged in a revamp not too many years ago (link to the creator of the comics and his commentary! I’ve only seen those in passing here on tumblr.

Collin Rüppells Condor/The Black Buzzard
Basic info
Collin Condor is a buzzard clone who keeps his backstory close to his chest and has completely discarded his previous identity by not only changing his name to Collin Rüppells Condor, but also by using the foreverglades fountain water to de-age himself into a younger man. He was able to use the fountain to start his own business in raising and processing poultry called "Rüppells Poultry". From an outsiders perspective his product seemed to pop up and spread out of nowhere and even started a fast food franchise from it. He had also hired Susan full-time as his Secretary and Personal Assistant, along with giving her lodging in the mansion that was his creators.
He also moonlights as his secret alter-ego, the self proclaimed villain dubbed The Black Buzzard, as a way to rebel against his creators legacy and prove the point that he's his own person and not just another copy of someone else. At this point he's created his own machine with the solego circuit in his basement that's supposed to be more stable than the ramrod or solego vortex which he uses to go through different points in time and cause chaos in, both in his and other timelines. He calls it The Solego Glass.
All this as well as his origins are things he's careful to keep out of the public knowledge and is only known by Susan, who also moonlights as his henchperson.
His main goal is to spread as much chaos as possible by means of all sorts of petty mischief, and the only thing that would make it better- to get his birdified creator back from Magica to make him watch the anarchy he brings.
His main weapon of choice is the umbrella-copter, powder by the lightning gem that was made in the labs of Cape Suzette. It's able to have multiple styles of combat. When the vulture's jaw (the trigger) is pressed shut with the sword attachment unshielded the blade is electrified, turning it into a long taser that can stun an opponent or cause them to drop any metal weapon they're wielding with a single perry, or the blade attachment can be unplugged and used as a regular sword and the handle becomes a lightning pistol for long range attacks- and of course, the blade doubles as a connector for the helicopter attachment, you don't want to try to turn the helicopter feature on without the blade, or you're gonna have a bad time...

Es el final de esta historia, me alegra mucho de haberla terminado antes de llegar al 2024, ahora tranquilamente a esperar el estreno de Darkwing Duck, estoy seguro que será un excelente proyecto y tengamos un nuevo canon que explotar.
Agradezco a Juli y sus comentarios sobre el fanfic en el proceso de edición, sin ella esto no tendría final.

Christmas is a month away and I am LOSING MY PATIENCE about this book so I would like you, my fellow duck fans, to help me.
Here is a list of questions I have about the show that I really really hope the book answers.
What inspired the showrunners to reboot DuckTales in the first place?
HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET PROFESSIONAL SHAKESPEAREAN ACTOR DAVID TENNANT ON THE SHOW?!
Were there any episodes or ideas that simply didn't make it into the show?
Just... The 87 Cent Solution. I want ANSWERS, MAN. TELL ME WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH THEIR HEADS WHEN THEY WROTE IT. And what did David think of the script? It's so different to what normally happens in the show!
The scene in Let's Get Dangerous when Scrooge and the boys entered that 1987 DuckTales dimension kinda raised more questions than I even know what to do with. How is this working? If the Solego Circuit opened portals to worlds of fiction, does this mean DuckTales was a show in its own universe?! HOW THE CINNAMON TOAST FRICK DOES IT WORK IT'S BEEN BUGGING ME SINCE I WATCHED IT I WANNA KNOWWW
Also Let's Get Dangerous, why did they not put the Darkwing Duck saxophone music over the credits?
And lastly... WHY DID THEY BREAK OUR HEARTS LIKE THAT in The Last Crash Of The Sunchaser?!

Donald FOWL AU
How certain episodes events would play out with this AU in a sense: somethings will change but this is for now.
Challenge of the Senior Junior Woodchucks: mostly the same.
Quack Pack: post episode is when Donald joins FOWL. And Huey realizes he miss the days before adventures. Louie already did before. Dewey realized later.
Double-O-Duck in You Can Only Crash Twice: is when Agent D is first mentioned.
The Lost Harp of Mervana: mostly the same
Louie’s Eleven: is when Donald and Daisy reunite after years of not seeing each other, and date again.
Astro BOYD: the same cause it’s good
The Rumble for Ragnarok: main plot is mostly the same. Bradford discuss with Donald about the Golden Atlas, and Donald refuses to help get it. Bradford tried anyway by getting Jose and Panchito to talk, Donald warned them to not say anything about Xandra’s location. They got captured anyway.
The Phantom and the Sorceress: Agent D is there with Phantom Blot for what originally was a break in mission to the manor. then almost everything goes the same.
They Put a Moonlander on Earth: Donald and Daisy are on a date. Donald is there to guide Penumbra. to show Donald and Penumbra friendship. And Penumbra decided to go back to the moon with the other moonlanders who want to go back, to rebuild tranquility.
The Trickening: same
The Forbidden Fountain of the Foreverglades: mostly the same
Let’s get Dangerous: NegaDuck appears (it was a actual scrapped idea and a missed opportunity) and Agent D first “shows” himself in front of the family for the first time.
Escape from the Impossibin: Donald is first suspected than later let off, and family starts to look into who Agent D is. And clones are born.
The Split Sword of Swanstatine: Agent Duck appears again the kids and Scrooge’s first true encounter with him. Donald meets the clones for the first time.
New Gods on the Block: mostly the same except at the end of the episode Donald meets up with Xandra in New Quackmore to discuss something.
First Adventure: same
The Fight for Castle McDuck: Agent Duck is their along side Phantom Blot and Pepper to guide them around the castle and get the Blessed Bagpipes. And Della is there because she wants to see Matilda again after all of these years. (Also Scrooge’s parents are dead in this because why not) Bradford tells Donald about his reasonings as to why he’s doing this.
How Santa Stole Christmas: is completely different, it’s not about Santa, but instead about Della’s first Christmas back on earth. (It was missed potential and I would have loved to see it)
Beaks in the Shell: mostly the same in terms of main plot. Donald gets the Papyrus of Binding. Family finds the wrong Agent D. (Gandra)
The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker: Della’s first encounter with Agent Duck there’s something familiar about him but she can’t quite figure it out.
The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck: mentions Scrooge’s past treatment of his family and how he got his fortune through some questionable means to drive home how Scrooge is a hypocrite and how he is a morally questionable person and always will be.
Last Adventure: family raids fowl’s funzos base, Webby finds the clones, Huey gets captured. Donald goes along with his family’s plans to raid the base, later goes off on his own with Xandra to free the prisoners. Webby finds out about what really happened to her parents (they were killed by fowl shortly after she was hatched her father was of the agency Donald was good friends with, her mother was Beakleys daughter and shush agent.) the kids, Ludwig, Gyro, and Gandra get captured again by the clones. Donald shows himself as Agent Duck to Scrooge. Della gets hung over the Solego Circuit instead. Donald points out all of the problems with the contract, Bradford and the others get arrested by Donald and Beakley. Donald takes in his clones and raises them with Daisy. The family finds out about the truth of the three caballeros and Donald’s secret agent days. Beakley finds out about his magic because Donald uses magic chains to keep Bradford and Heron from escaping.
