Scratches head, ig like the most I've got for this au is that most mythical creatures live amongst humans, disguised as them, and completely unaware of other creatures living amongst them. (which is too few anyway, they are mythical creatures after all not common creatures) It just turns out that by some insane coincidence, almost all of the cast of marble hornets are secretly dudes in disguise (loud vine-booms). Also the operator sickness is still a thing and the operator is still the same old entity of malice just more fantastical yk? Okay SO , I plan on switching to linux tonight. I think I have few moots who use linux, so like, if anyone has any tips for it, it'd be much appreciated. I'm just sick of how slow my pc can be at times, windows has so much bloatware, and honestly It feels like windows gives zero shits about actually improving the things people complain about in their updates. Plus I'm on a surface pro 7, which only came out a few years ago, AND its not even able to update to windows 11. So like I'm currently stuck with windows 10, which is not ideal.

but this—unfortunately as harry even mentioned himself in the vid—is scarily more widespread than most of you might think. and especially hurts writers like me who come from the global south when our words, our opinions, our research get ripped away from us and used for profit by some schmuck who was able to get away with it because we have always had less bargaining power in the global internet landscape.

it hits a little close to home as someone who has worked and written fully researched articles, got payed significantly less compared to white writers—sometimes taking unpaying jobs because that is the only way to properly secure a byline online—it hurts.
