I swear to god #it being a book all about this unicorn who is turned into a human and thus starts experiencing emotion. and flaw and love and and #and the unicorn is stressing but realizes that even if she were turned back into a unicorn. She has already felt. She no longer belongs #And I view Scott's character as tending to deny himself those kinds of feelings as if they were a weakness. As if they'd get in the way #He allowed himself to love and be loved in LL and then never again. Turned around and ostracized Pearl. #vashwood #vash the stampede #nicholas d wolfwood #trigun #trigun maximum #participated in altades' dance collab :3 very grateful for the opportunity and many thanks to them for organizing this!#there was a lot of vw arc choices... but i went for the leonof arc bc it's a dear vw moment to me #i think a lot of the leonof arc further breaks down vash's ideology and for the readers - together with ww- to learn that his ideals aren't #pure naivety and that vash knows he's at an odd standpoint with himself. he's criticized ww for shooting rai-dei just prior when ww had don #so on the behalf of vash but here he thanks him for killing on behalf of his home and its genuine. bc vash's presence - although it's not #his fault - he was the reason leonof and gray had gotten to the ship and killed people there. that's the guilt he has to live with and #despite his anger he'd still resolute not to kill. meanwhile ww just did what he had to - beating down on a seemingly immortal monster but #at the core made up of many lives he had to take and i feel as the fight dragged on - his own mentality waned. committing active carnage #while remembering the orphanage... and bearing that guilt alongside the words vash left with him during rai-dei's death #only for vash to thank him afterwards what he's done and for apologizing for pushing his beliefs on ww when he had no solutions of his own #anyway. i just have so an immense love for this arc bc they just got around to appreciating each other in weird ways. though ofc its still #weird and confusing for ww bc every new info on vash it'll just be strange to him as someone who's human #ruporas art

#I #help #I didn’t understand this moment when I was reading mtmte I DIDNT HAVE THE CONTEXT #The fact that….that Megatron did so much terrible things #and hurted and murdered so many people #and tried to kill Optimus for millions of years #but when he’s talking to this past Orion #the first thing Orion pulling is #ah Megatron with an R #his first initial reaction is to joke about that one time he mispronounced Megatron’s name #because this Pax #This past version of him doesn’t remember Megatron as a tyrant. He remembers him as a guy whose name isnt Megaton oops sorry this is awkward #he’s Megatron with R my bad #it’s such a innocent little detail #Everyone around Megatron constantly reminding him about all his crimes and seeing him though ‘he is scary’ and ‘he is evil’ lenses #But this👆#This is a reminder #Megatron wasn’t always a terrible person #He was ‘Megatron with an R’ once #I don’t know why this detail hit me so hard. Robin is one of my favorite straw hats and it is a literal shame that it took the anime only shows part of her humor, strength, ingenuity, and dedication. So happy to finish this really dramatic piece of her! I hope she gets more air time of her being weird, kind, funny, and clever with her power. She has so much personality that she doesn't get the chance to show off in the anime and it's just a shame.

i cant get over the whole time in the real world rick just sat there watching over morty and when he woke up finally rick sounded SO happy the way he just yelled his name excitedly the second he woke up,,,

#i miss them already….#AND ALSO AT THE END. MORTY WAS KIND OF IN A WAY WHAT STOPPED RICK FROM JUMPING INTO THE HOLE TO SEE DIANE.#you saw him like look sad for a second that he wouldn’t get to see her but then his expression changed to a firm one when he decided he was #-going to put mortys picture on the wall and then his little smile after he did… morty isn’t dianes replacement hes even better than that #THATS HOW I SEE IT THOUGH. one of the biggest appeals of r&m to me is just how they are eachothers absolute favourite and they outweigh-#-everything the others ever known. i think this episode really showed that alot.#despite everything he’s seen and experienced mortys biggest fear is rick not caring about him #and like. that’s funny bc that’s a thing where everybody knows for a fact that’s literally impossible #the biggest contributor for why SO many things in the show have happened is rick loves morty more than anything #also that one part in the whole sequence with them growing up where it showed r&m drinking togehter that made me so happy bc like #it was one of those moments where i was like. i've been thinking about the significance of toph's feet as the crux of her power against/alongside the practice of footbinding. considering her role situated within (an analog for) tang dynasty nobility, thinking through that cultural practice poses direct relevance regarding the overarching theme of how she transcends imposed boundaries, in terms of gender roles, class expectations, and of course along the axis of her disability. i can only gesture to these ideas because i lack the historical framework to construct a legitimate argument, but i'm wondering whether anyone more knowledgable regarding these historical contexts (@atlaculture comes to mind, but of course no pressure!) would like to extrapolate from these ideas.
