Horror:

Human Error - this one is mine so of course I’m recommending it 😂 it’s about a found family of survivors going on a road trip during a zombie apocalypse 12 years after the world ended!

We’re Alive - also zombie horror and was the show that got me into audio dramas! It’s very long and looks overwhelming but I promise it’s good!

Darkest Night - anthology horror where you find out how people died but each case is actually related and there is a bigger mystery and this show lives in my head rent free lol

The Waystation - found footage style show about a group of people on a space station that all died (the story is trying to piece together what happened). It’s along the same lines as The White Vault

DERELICT - a research group are studying a door at the bottom of the ocean, and then shit goes sideways. I binged this series super fact and I need season 2 immediately lol

The Eleventh Hour episode called The City of Statues - I made this! It’s about a group of survivors trying to make it out of a city filled with statues trying to hunt them down 👀

Someone Dies in this Elevator - mix of horror and thriller I think. It’s an anthology series where every episode someone dies in an elevator 👀 I composed for a few episodes and it’s v fun 🤩

Thriller

The Liberty Podcast - made by the same folks behind The White Vault and VAST Horizon. It’s an anthology series of stories taking place within and surrounding a tower where a civilization lives. Some episodes might lean more towards horror but I personally consider it more thriller

The Walk - made by the same folks behind zombies run! In this show you the listener are the main character, an individual making their way across Scotland with a package they were mistakenly delivered. I love this show so much omg

Primordial Deep - scientists are finding extinct dinosaurs alive and well under the ocean and they’re trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. I fucking love this show omg

Spines - woman wakes up in the middle of a cult ritual with no memories and is trying to figure out who she is and where she came from. Also there are powers!

Mirrors - same person behind Spines! Three women from three different centuries (who are all related to each other) discover they can communicate with each other through ghost like figures. It has a bigger mystery and the ending made me cry it was so good

InCo - a woman finds a prince from a world that shouldn’t exist floating in space. This show is a delight and is a micro series and I love the humor within it so much omg

Where the Stars Fell - the Antichrist is roommates with their guardian angel and they’re trying to stop the rapture

DUST - anthology series about science fiction and technology! Season 3 is definitely my favorite as it is one story but the entire show as a whole is very good

Feel Good/Light Hearted Shows

Unseen - this show lives in my head rent free and I ache for it to be real. It’s about magic existing in the real world and is an anthology! It’s made by the same folks behind Wolf 359

Joy to the World - holiday series I helped produce! It’s about an astronaut named Joy talking with different people on Earth about the holidays! It’s an anthology and v warm and I highly recommend it as a holiday series

Sidequesting - a person who is totally not the hero is avoiding the main plot and going on a bunch of side quests! It’s charming and lovely and made by the wonderful Tal

Back Again, Back Again - a woman is retelling her stories of his magical world she was transported into and about the prophecy she became involved in

“least favorite” isn’t anywhere close to bad. it just shows how damn hard the competition is going, but we’re talking about gold medals all around for each actor i’ve seen portray the doctor so far.

#and again on acting alone. i think i might prefer him over tennant in the long run.#which isnt saying tenannt is bad either its saying like. i just love them both but i love what smith brings to the table just slightly more.#i dont really put the war doctor on my rankings very seriously because he only had the one rpisode. and it was. a bad episode.#but his performance endeared me enough to him eith his haunted eyes and the weight he’s carrying that i would. possibly with a bias.#put him between ten and eleven.#and then first place depends on the day but i think twelve has pulled ahead of nine just barely. like damn. capaldi Gets It man. eccleston #also Got It in similar ways but obviously his shorter tenure did give him less tjme to show it off and twelve’s gotten three seasons to show #just how fantastically capaldi pulls together this grieving weirdo. this man who loves so hard it burns him up. who is so scared of his own #goodness and losing it. he’s so good guys.#god i cant wait to see where jodie falls on this list im really excited for her take. and mr gatwa too.#and the classic who guys obviously. i mean i already like the guy they get to play One in the audios and im really curious how he measures #up against hartnell(?)’s original performance #i know the vibes will be very different than those of nuwho but im excited :)

Angel oc angst and their backstory + personality

I love Aklaq so much

Aklaq is getting better at it but they’re still very self conscious about their injuries when they were 16. They got into a nasty car accident where they had to have their left leg amputated because of the damage from the fire. Since then they’ve hated how less mobile they seem to be, and angry with them for struggling with things. Aklaq used to be the families support and did most of the work along with their younger brothers and took a lot of pride in being strong and reliable. Since then they struggle to do alot of prolonged activities because of chronic pain and less stamina. They hate being looked down upon and it was a large problem in the beginning of them and David’s relationship because he kept on belittling them and trying to do things for them because they’re disabled. This led to a large fight when David was constantly forcing them to stop doing chores and generally anything physical which led to them breaking down because they felt trapped.

They’re trying but it’s hard, both them and David are very reserved people just expressing that in different ways and they both struggle to make meaningful relationships. Aklaq lost their mom before they moved to California for college and simply couldn’t stand being in the same place where she used to be so they left. Their little brothers were old enough to live on their own but still felt hurt as Aklaq refused to talk about their mom and even acknowledge she died. When angel finally accepted that their mom was gone it was hard but at the very least David was their to be able to get that feeling. Their mom and Aklaq had a similar dynamic with David And Gabe, Aklaq being the oldest and being the one to take over the family farm, being raised by their mother alone because their father passed etc.

Aklaq is an older oc that I adapted into a listener and I find their personality along with David’s to be great together, even with the clashing because they are in similar situations and can lean on each other. I just love them pls

i've been trying to screen record the spanish dub for mob psycho so i can put the episodes up on a drive. but unfortunately for me crunchyroll has now done the thing where if you screen record, the screen will just turn black . any normal person would have just been like ah whatever and given up. but unfortunately for crunchyroll, i am not a normal person

#i found a loophole #i can psych out crunchyroll so i can record the audio but just the audio #but then i will go to a free website and just record the episode in like english dub or whatever #and then i will take the audio and lay it over the video and put that shit together #and then i'll have it #i told my sister about this #they called me insane #or actually #they said not even an insane person would do that #but i would literally do anything to not have to pay crunchyroll again #kicking my feet giggling #the spanish dub is just so funny #i remember my sister and i were watching the very first episode with the bike gang and the banana peel #and we were literally crying laughing at it #we had to pause it so we could stop laughing and continue normally #for some reason in english or japanese we never laughed that hard #cnp rants

I have joined the society of bluetooth earphones

#refurbished for the record #i have been dragged kicking and screaming into the future #my phone doesn't have a headphone jack. my mp3 player does but it also has bluetooth capability. my ereader only has bluetooth for audio #so I figure since I'm going on the eclipse trip in a few months I should get some wireless buds for the train #went with some used skullcandy sesh because they were like twenty-two dollars had had a twenty hour battery life #I ALMOST went with some used Hesh headphones that looked really cool and had fifteen hours but were also forty-nine dollars #which combined with the other things I needed to buy would have put me thirteen dollars over my seventy-five dollar walmart giftcard #I was very tempted if just for the aesthetique~ but realized if I bought the cheaper earbuds I could have enough money for some instax film #and the cheaper earbuds and 2 pack of film plus the household objects I needed put me at a tidy seventy-four dollars and fifty-six cents #so I didn't have to spend any actual money on anything woot woot #the earbuds are blue. which is my favorite color. but they're like a pastel blue. which is like my least favorite shade of blue #ah well I'll sacrifice looks for function and affordability any day #*stares in slight dismay at hideously pink refurbished and thirty dollar instax mini 9*#what I REALLY wanted was some of those urbanista solar-powered headphones/earbuds #but even used/refurbished both were out of the total price range of the gift card(s)#I actually had two giftcards which together totaled seventy-five so that was pretty sweet
