actually i’ll post about this on main or w/e but I truly am the worst on this site when it comes to defending my faves bc I always accidentally sleep through discourse battles in The Trenches bc i need way too much sleep or else my body dies , I can’t do analysis for shit bc my brain gets too buzzy and I forget how words work then I type 1k words and dleete them bc im like what if I dont even know whot hese characters are Where am i , so mostly I just get mad and am Really useless about everything. Like im overly defensive and kind of clueless but at least I just like see smth I disagree with and im like Ok bedtime for mare. Admittedly the five million protectors that apparently exist so I dont do stupid shit are all helfpul BUT THEY ALSO ENABLE ME TO BE VIOLENT.

Anyway i just find discourse interesting bc it literally makes me see red like I have very bad anger issues HOWEVER i usually just go It’s too fucking early for this. and like. go to bed. Don’t take after me this is not advice I just find it funny

Bc IM TRASH a monster hunter world AU w Darva and Dorian:

—Dorian came over with the Fourth Dleet as a researcher. He was too young when the Third Fleet went out to the New World, But was determined to make it out there as a member of the Fourth Fleet. He is mainly an organizer of the various scholarly materials the Hunters bring in, but is also interested in the usage and viability of the pollen and spores some of the local flora and fauna give off.

—Darva came over with the Fifth Fleet as an accomplished hunter. He’s just about thirty at the time and could’ve made it into the Fourth Fleet, but issues at home delayed him. He’s a little older than some of the other hunters, but he can hold his own.

—Him and Dorian meet during a routine introduction in the first week or two of the Fifth Fleet arriving. During that time, Darva has a nasty run in with a Paralysis frog and went to the scholars to try and learn more about the damned things. Dorian helps him find what little information they have on them and hands it over. He does suggest that if he wants to know more, it would be beneficial for them to actually have one.

—So next time Darva visits, he brings Dorian one of the frogs to study. It’s not without a few zaps between the both of them, but Dorian is grateful for the creature to study.

—It becomes a regular thing that Darva will bring back interesting spores, plants or creatures for the researchers—and Dorian—to study. He also spends a good amount of time with Dorian while he researches the creatures.

—Eventually, Darva takes Dorian out with him on a expedition so he can see many of the plants and animals in action. Dorian isn’t exactly a fan of wandering through the old forests, but it’s worth it to see the creatures in action...and to see Darva, of course.
